Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh anemia dan Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) Terhadap siklus menstruasi remaja putri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik observasional dengan rancangan penelitian kohort. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer.  Pengumpulan data awal meliputi pengukuran berat badan dan tinggi badan, pengambilan sampel darah dan  kuesioner. Untuk penentuan anemia dilakukan dengan pemeriksaan sampel darah dengan Hb Sahli. Penentuan siklus menstruasi dengan pengisian kuesioner tentang menstruasi selama 3 bulan. Analisis data menggunakan program komputer dengan derajat kepercayaan 95%. Analisis bivariat menggunakan chi square dengan α 0,05. Regresi logistik ganda digunakan untuk melakukan analisis multivariat. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan 15 % remaja putri mengalami anemia,48,3% indeks massa tubuh tidak normal dan 46,7 % siklus menstruasi tidak normal. Tidak terdapat pengaruh anemia dan indeks massa tubuh terhadap menstruasi remaja putri. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka remaja putri perlu melakukan pemeriksaan kadar Hb secar rutin untuk mencegah anemia secara dini dan mengkonsumsi makanan bergizi yang sangat dibutuhkan pada saat menstruasi.ABSTRACTThe prevalence of anemia in the world is 46% according to WHO and 68% of women based on Riskesdas experience irregular menstruation. Menstrual cycle disorders have an increased risk of cancer and cardiovascular disease. Anemia and nutritional status is one of the factors that can affect menstruation. The study was to determine the effect of anemia and Body Mass Index (BMI) on the menstrual cycle of young women. This type of research is observational analytic with a cohort study design. This study uses primary data. Initial data collection included measurements of body weight and height, blood sampling and questionnaires. The determination of anemia was carried out by examining blood samples with Hb Sahli. Determination of the menstrual cycle by filling out a questionnaire about menstruation for 3 months. Data analysis using a computer program with a 95% confidence level. Bivariate analysis using chi square with α 0.05. Multiple logistic regression is used to conduct multivariate analysis. The results showed 15% of female adolescents had anemia, 48.3% of body mass index was abnormal and 46.7% of menstrual cycle was abnormal. There is no influence of anemia and body mass index on menstruation for young women. Based on the results of the study, young women need to check Hb levels regularly to prevent anemia early and consume nutritious foods that are needed during menstruation.

Abstract

The objective of this product development was to develop an instrument for product assessment students’ of physics’ grade XI of science 1, where the product was experiment guide instruments referring to experiment result reports to measure students’ learning results. Thus, it was required develop an experiment guide instrument that was able to improve students’ skills in expressing opinions and learning autonomously. Results of material test by experts and developed contents, a good score category and proper to use for learning product was 3.00. Instrument test results by experts obtained score 3.62. This score was categorized as a good score. The one on one test results showed that developed product quality was very interesting, easy to use, and useful. This was categorized as good because it belonged to range of average values of 3.56.Tujuan dari pengembangan ini adalah untuk mengembangkan instrumen penilaian produk fisika siswa SMA kelas XI IPA 1, dimana produk yang dimaksud merupakan perangkat panduan praktikum yang mengacu pada laporan hasil praktikum untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu perlu dikembangkan perangkat panduan praktikum yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mengemukakan pendapat dan belajar secara mandiri. Berdasarkan hasil uji ahli materi dan isi yang dikembangkan diperoleh skor yang dikatagorikan baik dan layak digunakan sebagai produk pembelajaran yaitu sebesar 3,00. Pada uji ahli instrumen penilaian diperoleh skor hasil uji sebesar 3,62. Skor tersebut dikatagorikan sangat baik. Sedangkan hasil uji satu lawan satu memperlihatkan bahwa kualitas produk yang dikembangkan sangat menarik, mudah digunakan dan bermanfaat. Hal tersebut dikatagorikan sangat baik karena masuk dalam rentang nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,56.Kata kunci: hasil belajar siswa, instrumen penilaian produk, pengembangan.

Abstract

The process of spontaneous labor is sensitive to the oxytocin hormone that causes uterine smooth muscle contraction as a receptor for the start of labor. Dates contains source of carbohydrates are simple sugars, iron, potassium, selenium, calcium, and flavonoids. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of date’s extracts (Phoenix dactilifera L) to the oxytocin hormone day 19 of gestation age of mice (Mus musculus L). This experiment devide dose of date extract into four groups, group I : control (no treatment), group II: 3 dates (3.12 mg/kg), group III 5 dates (5.2 mg/kg), and group IV 7 dates (7.28 mg/kg) to the oxytocin hormone. The research method is done by extracting palm ajwa with methanol. Treat made orally at the age of 14-19 days gestation. Measurement of oxytocin levels using ELISA at the age of pregnancy 19 days, showed the average number of levels of the oxytocin hormone in group I in the amount of 126.494 ng / L, the second group is equal to 124.169 ng / L, group III amounting to 129.041 ng / L, and group IV is equal to 132.252 ng / L. Overall extract dates with various doses of the treatment led to increased levels of the oxytocin hormone in mice. However, these increases did not show a significant effect, although the hormones oxytocin on uterine tissue of mice kept rising.

Abstract

The existence of service quality that convenient with patient’s expectations would have a positive impact for the continuity of UIN Sunan Ampel’s clinic. Based on it, this research aimed to observed the level of patient satisfaction at UIN Sunan Ampel’s clinic and conducted with a Cross Sectional approach. The population of this study were all patients of UIN Sunan’s Clinic during May 2017. Sampling was collected by an incidental sampling. with 30 patients acted as respondents. The data was taken by questioner. The results of data collection were presented with frequency distribution tables in the form of graphs or diagrams. The survey results showed that the characteristics of the patient were 87% less than 20 years old, 70% female, 73% satisfied with clinical service, 87% satisfied with clinic service, 82% satisfied with the registration time at the clinic, 73% long service time of clinic pharmacy, 90% satisfied with clinical hygiene. It was expected that this research can be developed by further researchers for the better service quality at UIN Sunan Ampel’s clinic.

Abstract

The menstrual cycle is a complex process involving hormones and reproductive organs. Hormonal changes that occur in the menstrual cycle result in changes in body basal temperature in women. Basal body temperatures can identify phase changes in one menstrual cycle. This study is to determine whether there is influence of decay of the endometrium wall against the basal body temperature in adolescent girls. This research is observational analytic with cross sectional time approach. This study was conducted on 60 samples with the age of 19-22 years. Data used in this research are primary data that is basal body temperature measurement and questioner. The analysis in this study is paired sample t test test using SPSS 16. The results  obtained significance value of 0.003 <0.05, so it can be concluded that there is influence of decay of the endometrium wall in the menstrual cycle against changes in basal body temperature. The endometrial wall decay on the menstrual cycle causes basal body temperature decreased compare with before the uterine lining decay or menstruation.

Abstract

The incidence of anemia is the ten most significant health problems today. The prevalence of anemia in an adolescent is still quite high, ranging from 40-88%. Anemia is a medical condition with a red blood cell count or hemoglobin level <12 gram/100ml. Hemoglobin levels can be determined in various ways, including visual methods and digital methods usingGCHb easy touch. The purpose of this study was to identify differences in the results of adolescent hemoglobin (Hb) examination using Hb Sahli and Easy Touch GCHb at Sunan Ampel State Islamic University Surabaya. The research method used is descriptive comparative, with purposive sampling technique. The results of Hb level examination with Hb Sahli method, it is known that 86,7% (52 respondents) experienced anemia while the results of the test using the easy touch GCHb method by 15% (9 respondents) experienced anemia. There are differences in the results of Hb level examination with the Sahli method and the Easy Touch GCHb with a significance value of 0,000.

Abstract

HIV/AIDS has become a burden for health in with it sufferers has reached 39 million worldwide. Around 620 thousand PLWHA has been identified all over Indonesia, with Surabaya has been listed among the top five cities with the highest number of HIV / AIDS cases in Indonesia.  This study was to determine the correlations between the HIV / AIDS knowledge with the Surabaya college student’s attitude towards PLWHA. This study was observational analytic research with cross-sectional approach. A proportional sampling chose as the research sampling technique, with 250 college students became the respondents. Data were collected from the results of filling out the online questionnaire. A Contingency Phi was used to perform a statistical test. The results indicated only 41.6% of respondents had a good knowledge level about HIV/AIDS,  while 77% of the students have already shown a positive attitude towards PLWHA. Furthermore, it is known that there was a relationship between students' knowledge regarding HIV / AIDS and their attitude towards PLWHA with a p-value of 0,000. From these results, it is expected that there will be an HIV/AIDS socialization for college students to increase a more comprehensive knowledge about HIV/AIDS and PLWHA.

Abstract

Male reproductive ability ability has a linear correlation with libido and testosterone. Both are associated with various things main food consumption such as protein, vitamins and minerals. Aphrodisiac  is an ingredient or drug that arouses sexual arousal or libido. Pumpkin is an example of food from plants with the highest content of zinc. This study was to determine whether there is a difference between the content of zinc on the peel, flesh and pumpkin seeds against sexual activity of mice. The experimental animals used were 24 male, group I mice as control group, Group II was grouped with pumpkin peel extract, Group III was grouped with extract of pumpkin flesh, Group IV was grouped with extract of pumpkin seeds. The dose used is 2gr / kg BB and volume of 0.2 ml is given for 35 days. Sexual Activity is observed every day  by the position of male mice riding females. Based on Anova One Way test results showed there are differences in sexual activity  mice males in each group (? 0.000). The difference of the result of the number of mounts indicated that the giving of yellow pumpkin extract had an effect on the increase of mating behavior of male mice. The group treated with the extract of pumpkin flesh showed the highest number of mice mounts (mean = 24,1667.Further research is needed to get a clearer picture of the composition of the pumpkin nutrients that indirectly affect fertility in men.

Abstract

Aspartame has a lower calorie rating than other sweeteners. for example, cyclamate, lactose, saccharin, fructose and maltosa. Although it has low calorie, aspartame have 60 times sweeter than sugar (sucrose). Induction of aspartame can cause elevated levels of blood glucose and damage to the pancreatic ? cells of mice. The purpose of this study was to analyze the dosing of aspartame levels; 13 mg/Kg body weight, 39 mg/Kg and 78 mg/Kg and those effect to the levels of glucose, cholesterol and haemoglobin of female mice (Mus musculus). The methode of research laboratory experiments using a complete randomized design (RAL). This study was using 24 mice with 4 treatment groups. Mice were given aspartame during surgical treatment, mice were made to perform measurement of Hb levels, glucose levels and cholesterol levels of neonatal mice. Data analysis using the Kruskal Wallis because Gaussian data but not homogeneous. The results showed an increase in the levels of glucose and cholesterol levels, but statistically there is no difference in glucose levels (p = 0,087), Hb (p = 0,899) and cholesterol (p = 0,168) in mice (Mus musculus) who were given variations of the dose of aspartame.
