Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa pada siswa kelas VIII dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning pada materi usaha. Jenis penelitian adalah Quasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Negeri 3 Jember. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VIII E sebanyak 32 anak. Dalam penelitian ini, diawali dengan pre-test kemudian diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning dan memberikan post-test setelah melakukan kegiatan belajar mengajar untuk mengetahui skor post-test. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes hasil belajar pre-test ? post-test. Hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa ada perbedaan nilai pre-test dengan nilai post-test akibat pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi usaha kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 3 Jember. Rata-rata hasil belajar nilai pada pre-test yaitu 56.00 sedangkan pada rata-rata nilai post-test yaitu 83.00, lalu diuji menggunakan Uji N-Gain dan memperoleh nilai 0,6 yang berada pada peningkatan hasil belajar kriteria sedang. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran fisika.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran, Discovery Learning, dan Hasil Belajar

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah tentang karakteristik pengajaran mekanik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan representasi mahasiswa calon guru fisika pada verbal, matematika, gambar, dan grafis. Masalah penelitian adalah bagaimana karakteristik bahan ajar mekanik dapat membantu mahasiswa calon guru fisika dalam meningkatkan kemampuan representasi mereka pada verbal, matematika, gambar, dan grafis. Masalah penelitian ini diterjemahkan ke dalam dua pertanyaan. Pertama, bagaimana bahan ajar mekanik terdiri dari contoh aplikasi prinsip mekanika dalam gambar peristiwa fisika? Kedua, bagaimana pola penulisan bahan ajar mekanik bagi mahasiswa calon guru fisika? Penelitian ini merupakan pengembangan bahan ajar mekanika, menggunakan metode campuran model investigasi, yaitu: pengumpulan data kualitatif, membangun pengajaran mekanik, rancangan materi sehingga akan siap untuk divalidasi. Subjek penelitian diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan representasi pada verbal, matematika, gambar, dan grafis. Responden penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa fisika calon guru yang mengambil subjek fisika dasar fakultas keguruan dan pendidikan, Universitas Jember. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data adalah: observasi, angket, tes dan dokumentasi. Data dijabarkan secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar mekanik terdiri dari contoh aplikasi prinsip mekanika dalam gambar acara fisika dan memiliki pola urutan bab, judul sub bab, deskripsi materi, contoh, uji kemampuan dan bibliografi. Abstract

This research was conducted based on the results of observations which indicated the problems of the multi-representations science (physics) ability and students learning science (physics) achievement in the classroom. The purpose of this research to describe the improvement of students multi-representations science (physics) ability and the improvement of students learning science (physics) achievement by using Quantum Learning model with experiment method. The type of this research was classroom action research by the research design using Hopkins cycle model. The research was held in two cycles and started with pre-cycle activity. The subject of this research was the students of class VIII-A SMP Negeri 7 Jember. The techniques to collect the data were interview, documentation, observation, and test. This data analysis technique was using normality gain formula (N-gain) to know the improvement of students multi-representations science (physics) ability and students learning science (physics) achievement. Based on the data analysis, was gained the improvement of students multi-representations science (physics) ability in cycle 1 with the average of N-gain score about 0,345 and in cycle 2 about 0,450. The students learning science (physics) achievement also improve in cycle 1 with a score of N-gain 0,32 and in cycle 2 with a score of N-gain 0,42. According to the data above, it can be concluded that the Quantum Learning model can improve students multi-representations science (physics) ability and students learning science (physics) achievement in medium category.

Abstract

Inquiry teaching model was a teaching model that requires student’s activeness for self-concept making by underlining a critical and analytical thinking process to search and find the answer from a questionable problem themselves. To support the implementation of inquiry teaching model, this research used experimental method so the students could find the physics phenomenon and proved it by themselves about the concept that had been thought through inquiry teaching model. The objectives of this research were to review the differences of student’s results in science learning-physics theme by using inquiry model with student’s worksheet based on pictures through direct instruction model, to know student’s responses after used inquiry teaching model with student’s worksheet based on pictures. The type of this research was experimental research that was done in SMPN 12 Jember. Data collection method used were observation, documentation , questionnare and test. Data analysis used was quantitative analysis based on the post-test results by using t-test and activeness percentage to know the learning activities and stuedent’s responses. The research result and data analysis showed sig.value (2-tailed) was 0.014 or < 0.05 and it showed that there was a significance difference of learning result between the experimental and control class. The analysis result of student’s learning activities showed active category or 72.82% in meeting 1, 75,38% in meeting 2 and 81.20% in meeting 3. Overall, the student’s learning activities from meeting 1,2 and 3 was 76.46%. The result of student’s responses analysis showed a strong category by showing 75% as the average percentage

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the influence of Quantum Teaching models by practicum  methods toward multi representation skill in  physhics student at senior high school. This type of research is the study of  experimental, the determination of polpulation using  purposive sampling area methods. This research was carried out in Senior High School Darul Hikmah Jember. The respondents determined after research carried out a test of its homogeneity. Design research using the control-group post test only design. Data from this research there are two types, the primary data and supporting data. The primary data obtained from tests, and supporting data obtained from observation, documentationand interview. The primary data processing using independent sample t-test . The results of T-Test obtained by the value of the sig. 0,000 &lt; 0.05. Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, meaning that there is a significant difference between the results of Quantum Teaching models with practical work methode commonly used by the teacher. Multi representation skill in experiment class better than control class .

Abstract

This research focused on the application of children learning in science ( clis ) model accompanied lks multirepresentasi based .The purpose in this research is to assess the effect of a model of children learning in science ( clis ) accompanied lks multirepresentasi based on student learning activities in learning physics and the effect of a model of children learning in science ( clis ) accompanied lks multirepresentasi based on learning outcomes of students in learning physics .A kind of this research is research experiment conducted in SMAN 1 Jenggawah .Data collection method used is a documentary , observation , interview , and tests .Data analysis technique used is independent test sample t-test spss assistance with 16. The analysis to the activity of student learning at 0,000 ≤ 0.05 in the first meeting and by 0,000 ≤ 0.05 in the second .The analysis to achievments of 0,0015 ≤ 0.05 in the first meeting and by 0,0095 ≤ 0.05 in the second .Based on the results of the t , can be concluded that the model children learning in science ( clis ) accompanied lks based multirepresentasi significant to the activity of student learning .A model of children learning in science ( clis ) accompanied lks based multirepresentasi significant of achievments.

Abstract

There same to purpose of this study was to determine whether there is influence of cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) is integrated with a media monopoly games Problem Solving approach to learning outcomes, why activities and why student responses. This research was conducted in SMAN Arjasa in August 2015. The samples used in this study is the cluster random sampling method . Before determining the sample, homogeneity test performed by ANOVA (analysis of variance) to determine whether all classes have the ability homoge. Learning outcomes measured using post test made by researchers. Results of t-test (independent sample test) showed no significant effect anatara NHT cooperative model to the learning outcomes of students with significant value 0.000. Activity student by using NHT as very active and showed a positive response. Results showed type of cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) is integrated with a media monopoly games Problem Solving approach has a significant impact on learning outcomes, activities and student responses.

Abstract

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian diskriptif yang bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang kemampuan menyelesaikan soal fisika pokok bahasan suhu menggunakan model polya pada siswa kelas VII SMPN 3 Jember Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Negeri 3 Jember. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII C sebanyak 32 anak. Dalam penelitian ini, diawali dengan memberikan soal soal fisika pokok bahasan suhu kepada siswa dengan menggunakan langkah langkah penyelesian masalah polya yang telah valid dan realibel untuk digunakan. Hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa ada perbedaan presentase antara tahapan memahami masalah, tahapan membuat rencana permasalahan, tahapan pelaksanakan rencana penyelesaian dan tahapan menelaah kembali pada materi Suhu kelas VII di SMP Negeri 3 Jember.Kata kunci : Tahapan polya, Kemampuan siswa
