Abstract

Effect of Concentration Nasa Organic Liquid Fertilizer and Growth Regulator Atonic and Plant Growth and Yield and Yield Ground PeanutABSTRACT. The aim of this research was to study effect on Nasa organic fertilizer concentration and atonik growth regulator on growth and yield ground peanut. The experimental design was completely block randomized design with two factor and three replications. The two factor investigated were Nasa liquid organic fertilizer concentration (1 ml/l, 2 ml/l, 3 ml/l of water) and Atonik growth regulator concentration (1 ml/l, 2 ml/l, 3 ml/l of water). Result showed that Nasa organic liquid fertilizer concentration highly significant different affected on plant height 45 and 60 days after planting and significant different on dry seed weight per plot netto and 100 g dry seed. The best result of Nasa liquid organic fertilizer concentration was 3 ml/l. Atonik growth regulator concentration showed highly significant different effect on plant height 60 DAP and significant effect on plant height 45 DAP. The best Atonik concentration was 3 ml/l. There was a correlation between Nasa organic fertilizer concentration and Atonik growth regulator on plant height 45 DAP.

Abstract

The Effects of Some Cropping Systems and N, P, K Fertilizer to Physical Properties of Soil and Land Equivalent Ratio at Tsunami Affected LandABSTRACT. The aim of study to know the effects of some cropping systems and N, P, K fertilizer as well as the interaction of both factors to improve soil productivity and land equivalent ratio at tsunami affected land in Aceh Besar, Indonesia. The experimental design was Block Randomized Design with two factors and two replications. The first factor was cropping systems; those were maize monoculture, green bean monoculture, groundnut monoculture, maize-green bean intercropping and maize-groundnut intercropping. Then the second factor was level of N, P, K fertilizer, those were control, low dose (90 kg ha-1 N, 35 kg ha-1 P2O5, 20 kg ha-1 K2O) and high dose (180 kg ha-1 N, 70 kg ha-1 P2O5, 40 kg ha-1 K2O). The observation was done for physical properties of soil and land equivalent ratio. The result showed that the lowest soil weight was obtained from maize-green bean intercropping and maize groundnut intercropping. The highest soil permeability was found in maize-groundnut intercropping. Maize-green bean intercropping using high fertilizer dose gave the highest land equivalent ratio (1,96).

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Suatu penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui varietas dan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair Enviro Plus yang tepat terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tomat, serta untuk mengetahui interaksi kedua faktor tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial 3x3 dengan 3 ulangan. Ada 2 faktor yang diteliti yaitu varietas (Permata, Montero dan Niki) dan pupuk organik cair (0,5; 1,5; dan 2,5 cc L-1 air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa varietas berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap  tinggi tanaman umur 15, 30 dan 45 HST, jumlah bunga per tandan umur 37 HST, jumlah buah per tanaman umur  57 HST dan total bobot buah per tanaman. Pertumbuhan dan hasil terbaik diperoleh  pada varietas Niki. Konsentrasi pupuk organik cair Enviro Plus berpengaruh nyata terhadap diameter batang umur 15 HST dan total bobot buah per tanaman. Pertumbuhan dan hasil  terbaik diperoleh pada penggunaan pupuk organik cair Enviro Plus 0,5 cc L-1 air. Tidak terdapat interaksi yang nyata antara varietas dan  konsentrasi pupuk organik cair Enviro Plus terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tomat.The Using of Liquid Organic Fertilizers on Growth and Yield of Three Varieties of Tomato (Lycopersicum Esculentum L.)ABSTRACT. The study was  to determine the variety and concentration of Enviro Plus (liquid organic fertilizer) that have best  growth and yield of tomatoes, and as well as  interaction of both factors. Randomized Block  Design was used with pattern 3x3 factorial with three replications. There were two factors, varieties (Permata, Montero and Niki) and concentration of  Enviro Plus (0.5, 1.5, and 2.5 cc L-1) of water. The results showed that the varieties  had significant  effect on plant height umur 15, 30 and 45 day after planting (DAP) , the number of flowers per stalk at age  37 DAP, the number of fruits per plant age 57 DAP and a total weight of fruit per plant. The best growth and yield found on Niki varieties. Concentration of  Enviro Plus that have significantly affect on stem diameter and the at age  15 DAP, total weight of fruit per plant. The best growth and yield found at concentration of Enviro Plus  0.5 cc L-1 of water). There were no significant  interaction effect between variety and concentration of Enviro Plus   on growth and yield of tomato.

Abstract

Growth and Yield of Same Crop by Cropping System and Fertilization of N, P, K in in Tsunami Affected LandABSTRACT. The aim of study is know the effect of some cropping system and N, P, K fertilizer as well as the interaction of both factors to improve growth and yield maize, green bean, and groundnut. The experimental design was Completely Block Randomized Design with two factors and two replications. The first factor was cropping system: Those were maize monoculture, green bean monoculture, groundnut monoculture, maize-green bean intercropping, and maize-ground nut intercropping. Then the second factor was level of N, P, K fertilizer: Those were control, low dose (90 kg ha-1 N, 35 kg ha-1 P2O5, 20 kg ha-1 K2O) and high dose (180 kg ha-1 N, 70 kg ha-1 P2O5, 40 kg ha-1 K2O). The observation was done for growth and production of maize, green bean and ground nut. The research result showed that, cropping system did not have significant different on the height of maize plant at 15, 30, and 45 days after planting (DAP). Application of fertilizer had significant different on maize plant at 30 and 45 DAP and did not have significant different of maize plant at 15 DAP. Furthermore, cropping system and fertilizer application did not have significant different on the height of green bean and groundnut at 15 DAP, but cropping system and fertilizer application have very significant different on height of green bean and groundnut at 30 and 45 DAP, as well as interaction between cropping system and application fertilizer on height of green bean and groundnut at 30 and 45 DAP. Furthermore, cropping system did not have significant different on cornhusk-maize yield, and application of fertilizer have very significant different on cornhusk-maize yield. Cropping system and application of fertilizer have significant different on yield green bean and groundnut as well as interaction between cropping system and application of fertilizer on yield green bean and groundnut.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui jarak tanam dan jumlah benih per lubang yang tepat terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman mentimun serta untuk mengetahui interaksi antara kedua faktor tersebut.  Penelitian dilakukan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala Darussalam Banda Aceh dari bulan Oktober sampai Desember 2009. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial 3 x 3 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor yang diteliti yaitu jarak tanam (20 cm x 60 cm, 30 cm x 60 cm dan 40 cm x 60 cm) dan jumlah benih per lubang  (1, 2,dan 3 benih per lubang). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jarak tanam berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap berat buah per tanaman, serta berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang buah.  Buah per tanaman terberat dan terpanjang diperoleh pada jarak tanam 40 cm x 60 cm. Jumlah benih per lubang berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap diameter buah dan berat buah per tanaman, serta berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang batang utama umur 15 HST dan jumlah buah per tanaman. Diameter buah terbesar dan buah per tanaman terberat dijumpai pada penggunaan 1 benih per lubang,  sedangkan   jumlah buah per tanaman terbanyak diperoleh pada penggunaan 3 benih per lubang. Terdapat interaksi yang tidak nyata antara jarak tanam dan jumlah benih per lubang terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil mentimun. Plant Growth and Yield of Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) in Response to Different Spacing and Seed Numbers per HoleABSTRACT. The study was aimed at determining the right spacing and seed numbers per hole on growth and yield of cucumber plants and investigating interactions between the two factors. The study was conducted at the Experiment Station of Agriculture Faculty of Syiah Kuala University, Darussalam, Banda Aceh from October to December 2009. Experiment was arranged in a factorial randomized complete block design (RCBD) 3 x 3 with three replications. Factors studied were plant spacing (20 cm x 60 cm, 30 cm x60 cm, and 40 cm x 60 cm) and seed numbers per hole (1, 2, and 3 seeds per hole). Results showed that plant spacing exerted a highly significant effect on fruit weight per plant and a significant effect on fruit length. The best fruit weight and length were obtained at a spacing of  40 cm x 60 cm. Seed numbers exerted highly significant effects on fruit diameter and fruit weight per plant and significant effects on main stem length at age 15 days after planting and fruit numbers per plant. The best fruit diameter and fruit weight per plant were found at 1 seed  per hole, while the best fruit numbers per plant was obtained at 3 seeds per hole. There was no significant interaction between plant spacing and seed numbers per hole on growth and yield of cucumber.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh beberapa varietas dan jarak tanam serta interaksinya terhadap pertumbuhan  dan hasil kedelai. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial 3x3 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor yang diteliti adalah varietas, yaitu: Anjosmoro, Grobogan, dan Kipas Merah, sedangkan faktor jarak tanam  terdiri dari: 20 cm x 30 cm, 20 cm x 40 cm, dan 40 cm x 40 cm. Peubah yang diamati adalah: tinggi tanaman kedelai  umur 15, 30 dan 45 HST, jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah polong bernas per tanaman, dan berat biji per tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa varietas berpengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 15 dan 30 HST. Tanaman kedelai lebih tinggi diperoleh pada varietas Grobogan dan Anjasmoro. Jarak tanam hanya berpengaruh nyata pada tinggi tanaman  umur 45 HST, tanaman tertinggi diperoleh pada penggunaan jarak tanam 20 cm x30 cm. Terdapat interaksi yang nyata antara varietas dan jarak tanam terhadap jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah polong bernas per tanaman dan berat biji per tanaman.  Hasil terbaik diperoleh pada varietas Anjasmoro dengan jarak tanam 40 cm x 40 cm.The Effect of Some Varieties and Spacing on Growth of Soybean (Glycine Max (L.) Merrill)ABSTRACT.  The aims of this study were to determine the effect of varieties and spacing and its interaction on growth and yield of soybeans. Randomized Completely Block Design  (RCBD)  3x3 factorial with three replications was applied. Factors studied were varieties: Anjosmoro, Grobogan, and Kipas Merah, and spacing factor of 20 cm x 30 cm, 20 cm x 40 cm, and 40 cm x 40 cm. Variables observed were soybean plant height age of 15, 30 and 45 DAP, the number of pods per plant, number of pods per plant and weight seeds per plant. The results showed varieties effected plant height on 15 and 30 DAP significantly, which higher than Grobogan and Anjosmoro. Meanwhile spacing simply effect plant height on 45 DAP significantly. The highest plant found on 20 cm x 20 cm spacing. There were interaction significantly between varieties and spacing on the number of pods per plant and weight dry seed per plant. The best result were obtained on a variety Anjosmoro with spacing of 40 cm x 40 cm.

Abstract

Growth and Yields Performance of Several Clones of Sweet Potato (Ipomoea batatas L.) at Medium Highland of Saree, District of Aceh Besar ABSTRACT. The purpose of this study is to obtain an adaptable clones with high productivity at the medium highland of Saree, in the district of Aceh Besar. This research was conducted at experimental station of The Agriculture Mentor Academy at Saree, Aceh Besar with the altitude of 520 m above sea level, from February to July 2015. The study used a non factorial Randomized Block Design. The factors being tested are 12 types of potato clone, where nine were obtain from the International Potato Center of South East Asia (CIP-SEA) Bogor, West Java (CIP-440137, CIP-AC, CIP-B19, CIP-286, CI-287, CIP-GA, SARI, CIP-W, CIP-W104) and 3 local clones (White Saree, Yellow Saree, Bener Meriah). The results show that clones have a very significant impact on the percentage of life at 3 weeks after planting (WAP), long vines (4 and 6 WAP) and biomass dry weight, and significantly impact on the number of vines. The best plant growth is found on CIP-B19 and CIP -W104, while highest yields achieved by CIP- GA and CIP-W104.

Abstract

            The research was aimed at determining effects of organic fertilizer D.I Grow and inorganic fertilizer  NPK Yara Mila on growth and yield of soybean.  The experiment was arranged in a completely randomized (CRD) 4 x 4 with 3 replications. There were two factors observed, that were 1) concentration of organic fertilizer D.I Grow, consisting of 4 levels : 0 mL/L of water, 1 mL/L of water, 3 mL/L of water and 5 mL/L of water, and 2) inorganic fertilizer NPK, consisting of 4 levels : 0 g/plant, 2,5 g/plant, 5,0 g/plant and 7,5 g/plant. Results showed that the concentration of fertilizer D.I Grow exerted highly significant effects on dry seed weight per plant,  yield potential,  and significant effects on plant height at 30 and 45 days after planting (DAP),  stem diameter at 45 DAP, and seed dry weight of 100 grains,  but did not exert significant effects on plant height at 15 DAP and stem diameter at 15 and 30 DAP. The best growth and yield were obtained at a concentration of DI Grow 5 mL /L of water. NPK fertilizer significantly affected plant height  at 45 DAP, stem diameter at 30 and 45 DAP, dry seed weight per plant,  and yield potential, but  did not significantly  affect plant height of 15 and 30 DAP,  stem diameter at 15 DAP,  weight of 100 grain   and seed dry weight of 100 grains. The best growth and yield were obtained at a dose of 7.5 g NPK/plant. There were highly significant interactions between concentration of D.I Grow and dosage of NPK on dry seed weight per plant and  yield potential. The best yield was obtained  at a combination of D.I Grow 5 mL/L of water and 7.5 g of NPK plant .

Abstract

The study was aimed at determining effect of mulch type and concentration of liquid organic fertilizer Super Bionic on growth and yield of onion.  The experiment used a randomized complete block design (RCBD) 3x3 with 3 replications. There were 2 factors investigated, 1) type of mulch consisting of 3 levels: straw, burned husk, and water hyacinth and 2) concentration of organic liquid fertilizer Super Bionic consisting of 3 levels: 2 cc/L of water, 4 cc/L of water and 6 cc/L of water. The results showed that the type of mulch significantly affected the number of tubers per hill, but did not exert significant effects on plant height and number of tillers at ages 15, 30 and 45 days after planting (DAP), wet weight of tuber per hill and dry weight of tubers per hill and potential yield.  Growth and yield of onion tended to be better at water hyacinth mulch. Concentration of  liquid organic fertilizer Super Bionic significantly affected the number of tillers at age 15, 30 and 45 DAP and dry weight of tuber per hill, but did not exert significant effects on plant height at age 15, 30 and 45 DAP, the number of tubers per hill, wet weight of tuber per hill and potential yield. Better growth and yield were obtained at concentrations 2 cc/L of water. There was no significant interaction between type of mulch and concentration of liquid organic fertilizer Super Bionic.

Abstract

This study was aimed at examining the growth and yield of onion due to different spacing of red chili in intercropping system on the tsunami affected land. This research used a randomized block design of 4 x 2 with 3 replications. Factors studied were (1) red onion varieties, consisting of 4 levels: Juna Bima, Bima Curut, Warso and Kuning Tablet (2) spacing, consisting of 2 levels: 50 cm x 60 cm and 50 cm x 70 cm. Results showed that onion varieties in intercropping system with red chili exerted highly significant effects on plant height of red onion at age of 30 days after planting (DAP) and number of tillers at  age of 15 and 45 DAP, as well as on wet and dry weight of tuber, and exerted significant effects on plant height at 15 and 45 DAP, and number of tillers at age of 30 DAP. The best onion variety was Kuning Tablet.  Spacing distance of chili in intercropping system with red onion exerted highly significant effects on plant height of red chili at age 30 DAP, and a significant effect on plant height at 45 DAP and no significant effect on plant height and number of productive branches at age 60 DAP.
