Abstract

                       AbstractThis study aimed to determine the feasibility of module on submatrial structure and function of plant tissue in class XI high school with addition of the results from study  of number and size stomata of monocot plants. The research was descriptive with purposive sampling technique using two stages of validation namely instrument and module validation. Instrument was validated by three validators, namely two lecturers of biology education and one biology teacher while the module was validated by five validators namely two biology education lecturers and three biology teachers who implemented the 2013 curriculum. The instrument sheet contained six aspects and eleven criteria. Data were analyzed by CVR and CVI formulas using Lawshe method. The results of instrument validation showed  that the instrument sheet was suitable to use and  corrected while the module obtained CVR and CVI values of 0.99 in accordance with the minimum value of the Lawshe so that it was declared valid and feasible to be used as a teaching materials on submatrial structure and function of plant tissue in class XI high school.Keywords: module, number and size of stomata, monocot

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan cerita bergambar sebagai media pembelajaran pada sub materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan daun di kelas VIII SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrument validasi. Penilaian kelayakan dilakukan oleh 5 orang validator yang terdiri dari 2 orang dosen pendidikan biologi FKIP Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak dan 3 orang guru IPA-biologi kelas VIII SMP di kota Pontianak. Hasil analisis kelayakan cerita bergambar mendapatkan nilai rata-rata total sebesar 3,33 dengan kategori valid. Sehingga cerita bergambar dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada sub materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan daun di kelas VIII SMP. This research was a descriptive study. Data collection was done by using validation instrument. The feasibility assessment was done by 5 validators that consist of 2 biology education?s lectures in FKIP Tanjungpura University Pontianak and 3 science-biology?s teachers for VIII grade students of junior high school. The result of feasible analyzed for picture-story was obtained 3,33 score with valid category. With the result that picturestory was feasible as a learning media in structure and functions of leaf tissue sub material in VIII grade students of junior high school. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar melalui model direct instruction. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan memberikan tindakan pada subjek penelitian dalam dua siklus pembelajaran. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX A SMP Negeri 1 Ledo tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran serta tes hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I dan II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran direct instruction pada materi pewarisan sifat  dapat meningkatkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar pada siklus I sebesar 63,7 dan siklus II sebesar 72. Proses pembelajaran dari dua siklus mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 85%. Kata Kunci: direct instruction, pewarisan sifat, hasil belajar. Abstract: This study aims to determine the learning outcome model through direct instruction . This research is a classroom action research by providing research on the subject of action in two cycles of learning . Subjects in this study were students of class IX A SMP Negeri 1 Ledo academic year 2014/2015 . The data collection used observation sheet teaching practices and student achievement test cycle I and II . The results showed that the direct learning model of instruction in the material of heredity can increase the average value of learning outcomes in the first cycle of 63.7 and the second cycle of 72. The learning process of the two cycles have increased as much as 85 % Keywords: direct instruction, heredity, learning outcomes.

The method that was used in this research was development research with 11th student grade of MIA 4 Senior High School Number 1 Pontianak on academic year 2016/2017 as the research subject with total 28 students. This research had done in two phase consist of preliminary and formative evaluation. Validation sheet was used as the techniques of data collection. Guided inquiry-based student worksheet on human respiratory system subdivision were validated by lecturer and teacher. As the research result, guided inquiry-based student worksheet on human respiratory system subdivision was declared very valid with Vc=1,00. It has four aspects, these are feasibility content, language, dish, and graphic. Abstract

One of the traditional utilization forms using diverse plants was a self-care ritual, which was anciently previously found in the tradition performed by women in the Qadriyah Palace of Pontianak Sultanate. The self-care ritual was aimed to treat either health-related problems or common diseases. Therefore, this ethnobotany study of the women self-care ritual was purposely implemented through a folding poster media in the tenth-grade sub-material of Senior High Schools, regarding the utilization of biodiversity in the field of cosmetics and medicines. The learning activity was collaboratively carried out with the teachers, so that students can recognize and preserve the varieties of beneficial plants in their environmental surroundings. The class selected as the subject of this study was class of X IPA 2. The collaborative learning process took place in two meetings; beginning with plan 1, performance 1, reflection 1; and plan 2, performance 2, and reflection 2 simultaneously in each meeting, with a duration of 90 minutes. The first cycle successfully implemented the ethnobotanic self-care-based folding poster media, previously performed by women in the Qadriyah Palace of Pontianak Sultanate?s environment, which had previously been validated by lecturers and teachers and was declared fit for use. Meanwhile, in the cycle 2, the media used was a flipbook. The results showed that collaborative learning using ethnobotany-based media can promote an environmental caring attitude amongst the tenth-grade students of SMAN 10 Pontianak.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat media pembelajaran berupa buku saku sebagai implementasi dari penelitian inventarisasi tumbuhan obat dan mengetahui jenis-jenis tumbuhan obat yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat Kecamatan Mandor beserta cara pengolahannya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif serta teknik pengumpulan data triangulasi. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan 83 jenis tumbuhan obat dengan cara pengolahannya yang beragam seperti direbus, ditumbuk, diseduh, diparut, diperas, dibakar, dan tanpa pengolahan. Media buku saku diuji kelayakannya oleh lima validator dan validasi buku saku dinyatakan valid dengan rata-rata total validasi yakni 3,6. Kata kunci: buku saku, inventarisasi, tumbuhan obat Abstract: This study aims were to make learning media in the form of a pocket book as implementation of inventory medicinal plants research and to know the type and way of processing medicinal plants utilized by Mandor district community. It was a qualitative research with descriptive method and triangulation of data collection techniques. From the results, it obtained 83 species of medicinal plants with various ways of processing such as boiled, ground, brewed, grated, squeezed, burned, and without treatment. Media pocket book was tested for feasibility by five validator and validation of pocket book was valid with the total average of validation was 3.6. Keywords: Pocket Book, Inventory, Medicinal Plants

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to determine the feasibility of documentary film medium based on the results of the eating behavior research in Sub Material of food substances in second grade of senior high school. The research used quantitative descriptive with random sampling. The tools used in this documentary film making consists of a computer and digital camera. The material in this documentary film making was the material on food substance Sub Material for second grade of senior high school. The making of this documentary film was initiated with determining the learning objective, writing synopsis, designing storyboard of the documentary film, making the script, recording the video, recording the audio for the narration (dubbing), editing and rendering, determining the validators, and validating the documentary film. The validation results of documentary film media by 3 media and material validators expert acquired the value of 3.06 for the material and 3.47 for the media aspects. Abstract

. The aim of this research is to compare the inquiry-based laboratory activities by utilizing the local environment with traditional laboratory activities on Environmental Pollution and Biological Diversity to develop a scientific attitude pre-service biology teacher. The method of this research was used quasi-experiment research with groups design alternative treatment only post-test nonequivalent. The sample were 2nd semester pre-service biology teacher at biology education department that following the Environmental Science Course at FKIP Tanjungpura University, consist of 40 students. The instrument was used assessment scientific attitude. The results show the scientific attitude of pre-service biology teacher who use inquiry-based laboratory activities by utilizing local environment was differ significantly with the use of traditional laboratory activities. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kegiatan laboratorium berbasis inkuiri dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan lokal dengan kegiatan laboratorium tradisional pada perkuliahan Pengetahuan Lingkungan materi Pencemaran Lingkungan dan Keanekaragaman Hayati terhadap sikap ilmiah mahasiswa calon guru biologi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian alternative treatment post-test only with nonequivalent group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester II pada program Studi Pendidikan Biologi di FKIP Universitas Tanjungpura yang berjumlah 40 mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa pernyataan sikap ilmiah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sikap ilmiah mahasiswa calon guru biologi yang menggunakan kegiatan laboratorium berbasis inkuiri dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan lokal berbeda signifikan dengan yang menggunakan kegiatan laboratorium tradisional. Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kelayakan media poster lipat jenis-jenis tumbuhan yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat Desa Tasik Malaya Pulau Padang Tikar, Kabupaten Kubu Raya sebagai media pembelajaran untuk sub materi manfaat keanekaragaman hayati di kelas X SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Pemilihan sampel sekolah menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu lokasi yang terdekat dengan penelitian. Media poster lipat divalidasi oleh lima orang validator. Penilaian lembar validasi menggunakan skala likert dan analisis data berdasarkan rumus Lawshe. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian validator, diperoleh nilai Content Validity Index (CVI) 1,00 > 0,99 sehingga dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan pada sub materi manfaat keanekaragaman hayati. Kata kunci : Kelayakan, Poster Lipat, Keanekaragaman Hayati Abstract : This research aimed to measure the feasibility of folded poster media about plant species utilized in Tasik Malaya Village Padang Tikar Island, Kubu Raya Regency as a medium of learning for the benefit of biodiversity sub material in class X SMA. The method used was quantitative descriptive. The sample selection used purposive sampling schools that were the nearest location to the research. Media folded poster was validated by five validators. Evaluation sheet used a likert scale validation and analysis of data based on the formula Lawshe. Based on the results of the assessment validator, the value of the Content Validity Index (CVI) was 1.00 > 0.99, thus it was declared valid and feaseble for use in sub material benefits of biodiversity.
