Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Three Step Interviewbased Scientific learning model to ability of mathematical communication. This research is an experimental research conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Ngadirejo in Temanggung District.Sampling with Purposive Sampling technique. The research population is all students of class VIII with sample of class VIII B (experiment) and class VIII C (control). The independent variable used is motivation and communicative, the dependent variable of mathematical communication ability. Methods of data collection using interviews, documentation, tests, observations, and questionnaires. The results showed: (1) the average mathematical communication ability of the experimental class students reached 83.24 with the percentage of completeness of 79.411%; (2) there was a motivationand communicative influence on the mathematical communication ability 80.4%;(3) there is difference of experiment class average which reach 83,24 and control class reach 73,76. Based on the three criteria above shows that Three Step Interviewbased Scientific learning model to the mathematical communication ability of grade VIII students of building the flatside space effective.Keywords: Three Step Interview, Scientific, Mathematical Communication.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve student?s competency (student?s learning achievement) using character-based lesson plan with inquiry approach with Cabri 3D on space geometry subject. The research is a quantitative eperiment by comparing the process before and after the use of the lesson plan. Test, observation, and documentation ware used in the research to support the result. It showed the average pre test result 31,94 and for post test was 85,17. Based on the statistical analysis using paired sample t test, t counted 25,18 and indicated significant improve on the student?s competency. However, the application of character-based lesson plan with inquiry approach with Cabri 3D give significant improvement on space geometry subject.Keywords: character-based lesson plan, inquiry, cabri 3D.

Abstract

The problems in this study appears is the low ability of students mathematical reasoning which is characterized most of learners difficulties in solving implementation problems to change contextual problems into mathematical form. In addition, students the activeness and interest is still low. One way to overcome these problems is to implement cooperative learning model ?Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) ?Joyful Learning approach. This study aims to identify using a mathematical model of CIRCJoyful Learning approach the ability of mathematical reasoning of learners effective. This research was anexperiment research, with every grade VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Semarang academic year 2017/2018 as the population.The samples in this reasearch were class VIII B as experimental class, classVIII D as control class, and class VIII C as test class. The results of thisstudy indicate that: (1) learners using CIRCJoyful Learning approach applied reach of 93,33% more than 81% with the completeness criterion 75, (2) the effect test showed the influence of activity towards and interest the mathematical reasoning in application of learning model CIRCJoyful Learning approach by 88,6%. (3) Different test results indicate there is difference of average ability of comprehension of mathematical reasoning between using learning model of CIRCJoyful Learning approach by 82,00 with using ekspository learning model equal to 78,73. Based on these three things, it shows that the applying of learning model CIRC Joyful Learning approach on the ability of mathematical reasoning of effective classpythagoras theorem material.Keywords: Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition, joyfullearning, reasoning mathematically

Abstract

Lecturers apply various models or learning strategies to the students which causes different student responses in joining the teaching learning process. However, the student responses only focus on their cognitive. It means that the lecturers only assess on the students? achievement. Whereas the applicat ion different models or learning strategies have a purpose to achieve positive responses from the students. It is happened in learning linear program subject. In addition, there are also student responses on the teaching materials application for linear program subject based on contextual approach. Furthermore, the objective of the research is to describe student responses on the application of linear program teaching materials using contextual approach through Linever.Linever means that an acronym for Lindo and Excel Solver software. Moreover, textbook and student? worksheets (LKM) are the teaching materials which are developed. The technique of data collection uses student responses questionnaires. The result of the research is the student responses on the linear program materials using contextual approach through Linever got 96.6%. In conclusion, this research had achieved the positive responses from the students in learning linear program subject. Abstract

The problem in this study is that students' mathematical communication skills are low because students are not accustomed to writing what was asked of the questions before completing them, so students often misinterpret them when faced with story problems. To overcome theseproblems by applying the Three Step Interview learning model with aneducational approach character. This study aims to determine theeffectiveness of the Three Step Interview learning model with a character education approach to the mathematical communication skills of class X students of SPLDV. This type of experimental research, the population of all class X students at MA Tajul Ulum 2018/2019. Sampling was purposive sampling. The study sample was X MIA I control class, X MIA 2 experimental class and X IIS trial class. The results of the study showed that students achieved complete mathematical communication skills individually: 84.40 and classical: 88.57%. The influence of confidence and communicative on mathematical communication skills is 58.5%, there is a difference in the average of the experimental class: 84.40 and control class: 72.35. It can be concluded that the Three Step Interview model with a character education approach to mathematical communication skills in SPLDV material is effective.Keywords: Three Step Interview, character education, mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of cooperative learning model type Pair Check Software Geogebra assisted on the ability to understand the mathematical concepts of class X trigonometric material is achieving effective learning. This research is an experimental research. The population of this study are all classes of X MIPA. The independent variables in this research are process skill and independence, while the dependent variable is ability of comprehensionof mathematical concept. The results of this study indicate that: (1) learners using Geogebra software assisted Pair Check model achieved completeness of 85.294% more than 80% with the completeness criterion 75, (2) the effect test showed the influence of independence and process skill towards understanding mathematical concept in application of learning model type of Pair Check Software Geogebra assisted by 81,9%. (3) Different test results show that there is a difference in theaverage ability of understanding of mathematical concepts between using a type of learning model of Pair Check with Geogebra Software assisted by 80.00 with an expository learning model of 75.470. Based on those three things, it shows that the implementation of Pair Check model is Geogebra Software Assisted on the ability to comprehend mathematical concepts of effective class trigonometric materials.  Keywords: Pair Check, Geogebra Software, Understanding concept

Abstract

Keterlibatan wanita dalam sektor usaha produktif akan menimbulkan perubahan sosial. Masuknya wanita dalam pasar kerja atau kerja produktif berpengaruh terhadap kegiatan ekonomi rumahtangga, sehingga terjadi perubahan struktur ekonomi keluarga (Wisadirana, 2004). Keterbatasan peluang kerja, peran dan potensi strategis serta tingginya kemauan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga yang dimiliki kelompok ibu rumah tangga di RW 15 kelurahan Meteseh menjadi dasar pemikiran bahwa sangat perlu kelompok ibu-ibu rumah tangga ini diberikan bekal ketrampilan yang dapat dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga. Permasalahan kelompok ibu rumah tangga ini antara lain : belum ada pembinaan dalam meningkatkan pemberdayaan ibu rumah tangga, kegiatan kemasyarakatan (dawis, PKK, Posyandu, pengajian,dll) belum diarahkan kepada peningkatan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan ibu rumah tangga dalam hal kontribusinya untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga, kegiatan kemasyarakatan yang mengerucut menjadi kegiatan ekonomi produktif belum dilaksanakan, kegiatan kewirausahaan bagi ibu rumah tangga sangat terbatas dan belum dikembangkan dan belum ada bantuan stimulant berupa pelatihan dan alat yang sesuai dengan minat dan ketrampilan sebagai pendoron untuk mengaplikasikan potensi yang dimiliki. Solusi yang dilakukan adalah pelatihan keterampilan usaha bidang boga dan kerajinan tangan dengan metode pendekatan participatory learning dengan menekankan learning by doing, melalui penyuluhan, pembinaan, demonstrasi, dan simulasi penyelenggaraan usaha produksi abon tiram dan kerajinan produk dari percaHasil dan luaran yang telah dicapai pada program Ipteks bagi Masyarakat kelompok ibu rumah tangga ini adalah : a. Peningkatan motivasi dan semangat kelompok mitra dalam meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga. b Penerapan ipteks dalam usaha pengolaan jamur tiram dan kerajinan kain perca menjadi produk yang mempunyai nilai ekonomis. c. Terbentuk kelompok usaha dalam bidang pengolahan jamur tiram dan kerajinan kain perca. Disimpulkan : ketrampilan kelompok ibu rumah tangga dalam mempraktikkan materi yang diajarkan instruktur dalam pengolahan jamur tiram dan produk kerajinan kain perca sangat bagus dan mempunyai nilai jual. Semangat kelompok yang cukup tinggi ditunjukkan dengan peran serta dalam pengadaan bahan-bahan yang dibutuhkan. Abstract

Teaching material is a tool for an educator in the success of the learning processat all levels of education and all areas of study. No exception learning process oflinear program in Higher Education. For that an educator must be able toarrange their own teaching materials in accordance with the competence to beachieved as well as student characteristics. In the course of linear programming,there needs to be a theory application in everyday problems or in industryproblems. In addition complex calculation problems make the process of solvingproblems related to linear program takes a long time. So that researchers doresearch in designing teaching materials linear program with linear assistedcontextual approach. So the purpose of this study is to know that the teachingmaterials linear program with linear-assisted contextual assisted approach usedin the learning process. Linever is an acronym for Lindo and Excel Solversoftware. The teaching materials developed are Diktat and Student Worksheet(LKM). This research is a part of development research with ADDIE developmentmodel (Analysis, Design, Development, implementation, Evaluation), that is atDesign stage. Data collection techniques use validation materials sheet given tothe validator. The result of the research shows that the linear program teachingmaterials with linearly validated contextual approach are used with the averagerating of 3.6% included in the criteria. Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the effect of the availability of practical equipment on student learning outcomes in department of mathematics education di University Muhammadiyah Semarang. The populations are lecturers and students who are in the fourth semester in that department. While the sample are 23 students  who took the course of workshop mathematical equipment. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires and documentation. Analysis of influence test by using linear regression test. The result showed that the average of students' learning achievement is 77.3. Abstract

Kejar Paket B is a non-formal education which is the same to Junior High Schools. Curriculum of Kejar Paket B is also the same to a given curriculum on Junior High Schools. Although having the same curriculum, but it has different implementation of the learning process. One of these facilities in terms of the learning process, teachers often make the conventional learning.The objective  of this research is to evaluate the implementation of learning mathematics in Semarang Kejar Paket B using CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product). This research consists of four evaluation, namely: (1) the context evaluation, (2) the input evaluation, (3) the process evaluation, and (4) the results evaluation. This research used a qualitative approach. The results showed that the instruments used in the evaluation of the learning process using CIPP model can be used with little revision. Moreover the process of implementation of the researchindicates that the process of learning mathematics in Semarang Kejar Paket  B is not well structured from the procurement needs of students, facilities, and the teaching material of mathematics. It is also supported by the unapproriateness of acquisition results of the Final National Exam score.
