Abstract

The presence of microbes mainly lactic acid bacteria are thought to play a role in the process of microbial fermentation in the digestive tract of animals during the mongoose. Efforts need to be engineered so that the yeast fermentation of animal dung to produce a Luwak Coffee Luwak coffee berspesifikasi high quality based on the alleged role of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) in fermented Luwak coffee. This research aims to produce dry yeast single culture of Leuconostoc mesentoroides and Leuconostoc paramesentoroides with the addition of the appropriate filler agent, and to know the level of viability of yeast products produced during storage.The parameters observed in this study include: calculation of bacteria using PCA (Plate Count To), water content of yeast, sugar reduction method of Nelson-Somogy, pH and total acid. Results The study found that the optimum filler agent for the growth of Leuconostoc mesenteroides and Leuconostoc paramesenteroides is rice flour. Microbial population in rice flour filler agent that is still very much during the storage in the second appeal filler agents, namely maize and tapioca. Successive growth of Leuconostoc mesenteroides using cornstarch, tapioaka and rice at the end of the storage is 1.5 x 109 CFU/g, 1.7 x 107 CFU/g and 2.2 x 1010 CFU/g. Paramesenteroides Leuconostoc populations in a row on cornstarch, tapioca and rice is 6.3 x 1010 CFU/g, 2 x 107 CFU/g and 8.6 x 1010 CFU/g.Keywords: dry yeast, lactic acid bacteria, fermentation ,filler agent

Abstract

Abstract: This study is an explanatory research which aimed to identify the model of entrepreneurial behavior of educated Minangkabau’s woman in West Sumatera through investigates the relationship between entrepreneurial attitude, Subjective Norm, self evocation as endogenous variable and entrepreneurial behavior as exogenous variable. Additionally, this study employs entrepreneurial intention as intervening variable. This study contributes to enhance the university graduate in their intention to be an entrepreneur. This study utilizes stratified random sampling technique by using questionnaire that sent to allpopulation namely the IWAPI member in West Sumatera. Prior to data analysis, the data were subjected to data preparation using SPSS 20. SPSS Version 20 was employed for data screening; demographic profiling of the respondents. Abstract

Megalocytivirus sebagai salah satu kelompok hama dan penyakit ikan karantina (HPIK) golongan I yang telah menyebabkan kerugian yang signifikan kepada pembudidaya ikan kerapu. Tahap penting pengendalian penyakit adalah diagnosa yang tepat, metode yang direkomendasikan yaitu Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) sebagai deteksi cepat dan akurat yang berdasarkan gen Major Capsid Protein (MCP) bersifat konservatif dan similar setiap strain Megalocytivirus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyebaran Megalocytivirus pada ikan kerapu budidaya dari hasil tangkapan alam maupun pembenihan di kawasan Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara sehingga bermanfaat dalam pencegahan lebih dini. Spesies ikan kerapu sebagai sampel yaitu kerapu bebek (Cromileptes altivelis), kerapu sunu (Plectropomus leopardus), kerapu lumpur (Epinephelus coioides), kerapu cantang (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus x lanceolatus) yang berukuran juvenil. Gejala klinis yang ditemukan pada beberapa sampel yaitu lesi, pendarahan bagian tubuh sirip, mulut, operculum, warna tubuh menghitam atau memucat, dan berenang lemah atau kurang agresif. Visualisasi DNA menunjukan hasil negatif pada semua sampel penelitian dan amplifikasi DNA hanya muncul pada baris sumuran kontrol positif sepanjang 1360bp. Berdasarkan hasil deteksi bahwa gejala penyakit yang timbul disebabkan patogen lain sehingga disimpulkan bahwa budidaya ikan kerapu pada Desa Barangka, Lambangi, Bajo Indah dan Kelurahan Bungkutoko terbebas dari infeksi Megalocytivirus pada periode penelitian ini.Kata kunci : Ikan Kerapu, Megalocytivirus, PCR, gen MCP
