Abstract

PT Semen Padang merupakan salah satu perusahaan produsen semen di Indonesia yang mengelola dan memenuhi kebutuhan bahan baku utamanya sendiri. Selain terdapat bahan galian silicastone dan limestone, PT Semen Padang juga meiliki sumberdaya bahan galian basalt yang belum dimanfaatkan. Bentuk dan penanganan dalam memanfaatkan bahan galian basalt berupa penambangan dan pengolahan yang menghasilkan output berupa batu split. Hal ini dilakukan karena bahan galian basalt tidak dapat dijadikan bahan dalam pembuatan semen kerena memiliki kadar MgO lebih besar dari 5%. Sebelum dilakukannya kegiatan penambangan perlu dikaji terlebih dahulu kelayakan teknis dan ekonomis dari penambangan dan pengolahan bahan galian basalt tersebut.Kegiatan penambangan yang dilakukan berupa pemboran dan peledakan dengan kedalam lubang ledak hasil pemboran 9,2m dan volume yang terbongkar sebanyak 44558,6 ton/bulan. Bahan peledak yang digunakan sebanyak 5127.5 kg Dabex, 66 pcs inhole delay, 65pcs surface delay dan 66 booster. Material hasil peledakan digali dengan 1 unit excavator Komatsu PC300 untuk dimuat ke truk Hino FM260JD sebanyak 2 unit. Untuk kegiatan penunjang penambangan di butuhkan 1 unit Wheel Loader dan Buldozer. Crusher yang digunakan adalah jaw crusher type PE-750x1060 sebagai primary crushing dan cone crusher type PYFB 1321 STD M sebagai secondary crushing. Biaya pengeluaran yang dibutuhkan untuk memproduksi 7.815.383 ton batu split basalt adalah sebesar Rp272.468.571.040,02. Maka biaya produksi per tonnya adalah sebesar Rp34.863,11 per ton (di luar pajak pendapatan dan pajak bahan galian) atau Rp.71.928,05 (sudah termasuk pajak bahan galian dan pajak pendapatan). Berdasaran hasil analisis investasi, didapat nilai tiga parameter berikut; Net Present Value Rp128.769.327.542 Internal Rate of Return 162,8179% dan Payback Periode 0,6145 tahun. Dengan demikian dapat dinyatakan penambangan dan pengolahan bahan galian basalt secara teknis dan ekonomis layak untuk dilakukan.

Abstract

On the conventional landfill, the waste degradation requires a lot of time to make it through and it produces amethane gasfrom a anaerobic which could be dangerous if there is not an optimal processing. On this research,the writer uses 7 experimental reactors, 6 reactors given aeration treatments and leachate recirculation. Thevariations which have done in the research is leachate recirculation debit, namely (10 and 15) ml/minutes andcontinual lacheate’s flowing system and aeration variation, namely (3, 2, and 1)ml/minutes everyday. Theparameter which is measured is the reduction of waste volume, temperature, PH, BOD and COD for weeklyanalysis. The results of the analysis are that the aeration of 1 ml/minutes with leachate resirculation of 15ml/minutes is the best of aeration condition and it can increase the settlement process and reduction of BOD andCOD concentration in a short time of leachate. This reactor can increase the volume reduction as much as 14,14% in six week and it is bigger than control reactor. The concentration reduction of BOD is from 718, 24 mg/lbecomes 88,44 mg/l and the reduction of COD is from 1285,58 mg/l becomes 893,44 mg/l

Abstract

Abstract This article aimed at determining students’ motivation in learning dancing at SMP Negeri 2 Padang. This research focused on factors which caused students’ low motivation to follow the dance lesson at SMP Negeri 2 Padang. The design of this research was the descriptive qualitative reseach. The object of the research was students’ motivation in learning dancing at SMP Negeri 2 Padang. The data were obtained from observation, interview, and literature review. The information was gotten from the art teachers  as well as students of SMP Negeri 2 Padang. The primary instrument in is research was the researcher herself while the secondary instruments were observation notes, recordings, and videos. The data were analyzed by using the phenomenology technigue. Based on the data analysis, it was found that students’ low motivation was due to the intrinsic and extrinsic factors from within themselves supported by the teachers’ performances such as the learning method and media used which could not improve students’ motivation.   Keywords: Learning Dancing, Students’ Low Motivation

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenulisan makalah ini bertujuan untuk membantu mengatasi salah satu dari sekian banyak permasalahan yang ada dalam pengajaran membaca (reading) pada sekolah menengah atas (SMA). masalah yang banyak dihadapi oleh siswa adalah mereka tidak dapat menemukan ide pokok, topik, dan kekurangan kosa kata sehingga membuat siswa kesulitan dalam membaca teks bahasa Inggris. Untuk mengatsi masalah tersebut, penulis memberikan solusi yang tepat yaitu dengan menggabungkan dua strategi dalam satu pengajaran membaca teks bahasa Inggris. Adapun strategi-strategi yang digunakan adalah Inquiry dan visualization. Selain itu makalah ini juga dimaksudkan sebagai masukan bagi guru-guru bahasa inggris dalam melaksanakan pelajaran reading sehingga siswa tertarik dan termotivasi untuk belajar membaca khususnya narrative teks. Dengan strategi ini mempermudah guru meningkatkan keinginan siswa dalam membaca dan mempermudah siswa dalam memahami isi bacaan. Ada beberapa langkah yang digunakan dalam penggabungan dua strategi ini secara garis besar strategi Inquiry chart membuat siswa dengan mudah memahami text melalui pertanyaan dan meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa. Dan visualization membantu siswa mengidentifikasi informasi dlm text dari setiap paragraph melalui imaginasi masing-masing anak. Tujuan dari penggabungan dua strategi ini agar siswa menjadi lebih aktif, efektif dan efisien dalam membaca. Penulis mengharapkan agar penggabungan strategi-strategi ini bisa menjadi panduan bagi guru dalam mengajar membaca.

Abstract

The progress of approaches in language instruction is line with general development of educational theory and practice that take learners as the main concern. Then the selection of content and learning experience is corresponded to the learners’ need, want, and lack since language instruction will be significant as learners are actively engaged in. Meaning is constructed by learners when their learning experiences link to the real world. Such meaningful learning is the philosophy of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). In the teaching of writing, the integrated genre and process writing may reflect this contextual learning. The cyclical process of producing a text from modeling the target genre, narrowing a topic, generating ideas, outlining, drafting, peer editing, to producing final draft may reflect the principles and components of CTL: constructivism, questioning, inquiry, learning community, modeling, authentic assessment, and reflection.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship reaction and power arm to punch capability gyakusuki sport karate. The methodology used is correlation. The research method used is the product moment correlation. The population is a sample population of 20 students and retrieval of data taken as a whole. From the results of research on the relationship that can be a reaction to the blow gyakusuki ability of 0.89 (80 %), while the power relations arm to punch gyakusuki ability of 0.9 (87.2 %). This means that there is a positive relationship between hubungani reaction , the power arm of the ability gyakusuki sport karate punch. Therefore seoarang coaches or teachers in order to improve the ability to deliver a blow gyakusuki exercise its power train and arm reaction.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan reaksi dan power lengan dengan kemampuan pukulan gyakusuki cabang olahraga karate.  Metodologi yang digunakan adalah korelasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kwantitatif. Populasinya merupakan populasi sample yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Dari hasil penelitian di dapat bahwa ada hubungan reaksi tangan dengan kemampuan pukulan gyakusuki sebesar 0,89 (80%), sedangkan hubungan power lengan dengan kemampuan pukulan gyakusuki sebesar 0,9 (87,2%). Hal ini berarti adanya hubungan yang positif antara hubungani reaksi dan power lengan terhadap kemampuan pukulan gyakusuki cabang olahraga karate. Oleh karena itu seoarang pelatih atau guru agar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pukulan gyakusuki dengan memberikan latihan yang sifatnya melatih reaksi dan power lengan.Kata kunci: power lengan, pukulan gyakusuki, reaksi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode DRTA melalui kegiatan membaca ceritaterhadap proses belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V di SDN 65 Parepare dan mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode DRTA terhadap meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V di SDN 65 Parepare. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas. Fokus penelitian ini yaitu fokus proses dan hasil dengan subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas V SDN 65 Parepare. Instrument yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, menyajikan data, dan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II masih dalam kategori kurang (K), namun terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar dari siklus I ke siklus II. Sedangkan pada siklus III sudah dalam kategori baik (B). Kesimpulannya adalah penerapan metode Directed Reading Thingking Activity (DRTA) dapat meningkat hail belajar siswa SDN 65 Parepare

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted on April until June 2017 in Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine University of Riau. The aim of this research was to know the effect of giving earthworms (Lumbricus rubellus) feed with different feeding ferequency toward the ovulation and hatching rate of siban (Cyclocheilichthys apogon val. 1842) eggs. The method in this research was an experimental method with Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with one factor, four treatments and three replications. The treatment in this research were P0 (the giving pellets as a control feed with frequency three times a day), P1 (the giving Earthworms (Lumbricus rubellus) with frequency twice times a day), P2 (the giving Earthworms (Lumbricus rubellus) with frequency three times a day), P3 (the giving Earthworms (Lumbricus rubellus) with frequency four times a day). The results showed that the best treatment was in P3 (the giving Earthworms (Lumbricus rubellus) with frequency four times a day) which produce latent time 4 hours 9 minutes, the number of eggs the striping average of 76 grains/gram of parent, fertilization rate of 73,20%, hatching rate average of 86,45% and survival rate of larvae average of 83,02%. Keyword : Cyclocheilichthys apogon Val. 1842, Earthworms (Lumbricus

Abstract

The background of this research was the importance of a college students’ guidance and counseling program in STKIP PGRI West Sumatera to have a good social interaction. Social perceptions became factors that can predictaffect social interaction. The purpose of this research was obviously to describe: (1) social perception, (2) social interaction, (3) the contribution of social perception towards social interaction. This research was using quantitative method with correlation type. The population was college students’ guidance and counseling program in STKIP PGRI West Sumatera in academic year 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. A number of college students were 818 students. The sample was 272 students selected by proportional stratified random sampling technique. The instrument was a Likert scale models. The research findings shown that: (1) social perceptions of the college students were in the positive category, (2) college students’ social interaction were in the good category,and (3) there was a significant contribution of social perception toward social interaction. Implications of these results can be used as an analysis of the college students’ needs in the preparation of guidance and counseling program services at universities, especially in STKIP PGRI West Sumatera.

Abstract

Introduction: Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) is classified into non-Pneumonia (upper respiratory infection) and Pneumonia (lung or alveoli tissue) ARI. ARI is the second leading cause of death that occurs in infants in Indonesia. Trigger factors that can cause ARI include poor lighting system, unhealthy environment, incomplete infant immunization status, low infant nutritional status, low economic and maternal education status, as well as less optimal health care workers in preventing and controlling the incidence of acute respiratory distress syndrome. The study aims to determine the effectiveness of TRIO DISPA (Three colours detection and early intervention for acute respiratory infections by tabletop learning method) to increase the mother?s knowledge in identifying, interpreting and early treating of ARI symptoms disease in the working area of Pampang Public Health Centre, Makassar City. Method: This study is Quasy Experimental Design which used the Pretest-Postest without Control Group Design. The sample of this study is 20 respondents and use Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test to analyse the data. Results: The study revealed that the family caregiver shows a difference between before and after implementing the TRIO DISPA program which able to interpreted tabletop case simulation. The increase of knowledge based on the pre-post test result using the Wilcoxon test (p=0,001). Conclusion: The TRIO DISPA program can make it easier for the public to understand ARI disease and handling its signs and symptoms.
