Abstract

The conveyor system is a technology for transfer object to processing in industry from one place to another. The process in the industry such as quality control, packing product, assembly, etc. Conveyor technology is needed in the industrial process  automation.  The  application  of  conveyor  system  technology  in  the industry requires acquisition data and control, so that each process on the industrial conveyor can be monitored and even controlled from the control room. The one of technology for acqusition data and controling process of industry by centrally from the  control room is the technology of  HMI  (Human Machine Interface). The development of this HMI technology can be complement PLC- based conveyor system technology, making it more flexible and efficient by providing visualization and even control of industrial processes. In this research, Modeling of HMI using Citect SCADA has been conducted for Acquisition Data and Controlling Process of Conveyor Systems in Industry. The model of HMI designed and made using Vijeo Citect SCADA by adjusting the form of process conveyor models in the industry including input and output system. Based on the research that has been done, the results of HMI can work well, with a 100% success percentage. This shows that the addition of the HMI module to the system does not affect the performance of the conveyor system, but with the HMI feature it will be easier to control the process in the industry from the control room. Abstract

This proposed research concern with application of continuous Hopfield neural networks for shortest path routing in a given map, in this case Purwokerto city’s map had choosen as an example. The method that was used in this research based on the ability of continuous Hopfield neural networks for representing their neuron as choosen vertices in the given map. The result shows that the networks can produce optimal route for such source and destination node pairs. As the product of this research, we have knowledge about the shortest way from one to another location at Purwokerto, so we can increase the efficiency on fuel use by using this route

Abstract

This research concern with application of discrete Hopfield neural networks for recovering data. Using associative memories properties of discrete Hopfield neural networks we can store a set of data patterns as a memories. The basic concepts of using discrete Hopfield neural networks as associative memories is to interpret the system’s neurons evolution as a movement of input pattern toward the one stored pattern most resembling the input pattern. The result shows that the application could recover false data to its origin.

Abstract

This research concerns about application of artificial neural networks (ANN) for predicting time series data. By modifying perceptron’s activation function with linear function, we got linear networks. In order to predict time series data, these linear networks combine with adaptive LMS algorithm. And then we had completed this model with time delay function to accommodate past data in time series. The data that used in the test had varied in frequency and sampling time. Results of the test had shown that the networks work properly to predict the data series.

Abstract

This research aims to know the economic efficiency and competitiveness of organic rice farming in Bangunrejo District, Lampung Tengah Regency. This research was conducted in Bangunrejo District from September to October 2012, involving all of the twenty organic rice farmers planting rojo lele and melati varieties of riceas research respondents. Data were analized using Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM). The results showed that (1) the organic rice farming in Bangunrejo was produced efficiently in terms of private and social and (2) the organic rice farming in Bangunrejo District had competitiveness with value of PCR (Privat Cost Ratio) 0,197 and DRCR (Domestic Resource Cost Ratio) 0,204 Key words: competitiveness, efficiency, farmer, organic rice, PAM
