Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi yang bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan tingkat keefektivan pelaksanaan standar proses pendidikan. Model evaluasi yang digunakan adalah discrepancy evaluation model, Provus. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan guru di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Sleman. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisis kuantitatif yang dilakukan, diketahui implementasi standar proses pada aspek perencanan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan, penilaian, dan pengawasan termasuk dalam kategori sangat efektif. Lebih lanjut diketahui bahwa implementasi standar di sekolah didukung oleh lingkungan kelas yang kondusif, peserta didik  kooperatif, dan peran kepala sekolah. Inovasi media pembelajaran, proses memotivasi peserta didik, perolehan informasi baru tentang materi tambahan, dan pengidentifikasian kemampuan peserta didik merupakan faktor yang menghambat pelaksanaan standar proses.Kata kunci: pelaksanaan standar proses, pendidikan AN EVALUATION OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF EDUCATION PROCESS STANDARD ON JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL IN SLEMAN REGENCYAbstractThis study is an evaluation research which is aimed at revealing the effectiveness level of the implementation of educational process standard. The evaluation model used in this research was discrepancy evaluation model, Provus. The samples of the research were the principals and teachers in state junior high schools in Sleman Regency. The data were collected using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Based on the quantitative analysis which had been conducted, the implementation of process standard on the aspects of planning, implementing, assessing, and supervising the learning process is considered to be very effective. Further, it is also revealed that the implementation of standard at school is supported by the conducive class environment, cooperative students, and the principal?s role. Learning media innovation, the process in motivating the learners, the acquisition of new information on additional material, and the identification process of the learners? ability are considered as the inhibiting factors of the implementation of the process standard.Keywords: implementation of process standard, education

Abstract

Abstrak?Pembangkit energi listrik pada umumnya masih menggunakan bahan bakar fosil sebagai bahan bakar utamanya, sekarang ini banyak penelitian yang ditujukan untuk mencari solusi supaya mengurangi penggunaan bahan bakar fosil.  Energi ramah lingkungan yang tersedia di alam kebanyakan mempunyai karakteristik tenaga yang tidak selalu konstan. Pembangkit energi ramah lingkungan yang bisa memanfaatkan tenaga alam yang tersedia secara maksimal menjadi fokus utama para peneliti, untuk itu pada penelitian kali ini akan dibahas mengenai perancangan generator linier magnet permanen. Pada prinsipnya generator linier bekerja dengan mengubah tenaga mekanik menjadi energi listrik sebagaimana generator pada umumnya, namun terletak perbedaan pada arah gerak rotornya, pada generator umumnya rotor bergerak dengan berputar pada inti stator. Namun pada generator linier, translator bergerak maju mundur pada inti stator (gerakan lurus). Pada saat perancangan magnet akan disimulasikan kerapatan fluxnya menggunakan software Finite Element Magnetic Method (FEMM 4.2). Adapun parameter yang akan di analisa dari hasil perancangan yaitu tegangan yang dihasilkan, frekuensi serta kecepatan linier generator. Dari hasil simulasi menunjukkan dengan kecepatan linier 1 m/s pada translator. Hasil pengujian generator linier magnet permanen Emax tiap fasa yaitu R=8.2V, S=8.2V, T=8.3V. Serta hasil perhitungan Emax tiap fasa yaitu R=8.0V, S=8.5V, T=8.5V. Perbandingan Emax hasil perhitungan dan pengujian tanpa beban terdapat perbedaaan rata-rata sebesar 2.33%, dengan tingkat keakuratan pengujian yaitu 97.7%. Hasil yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini yaitu didapatkannya sebuah generator linier yang dapat di aplikasikan pada sumber energi kinetik dari alam dengan rpm rendah.  Kata kuci: pembangkit, FEMM, generator linier, fluks magnetik, simulasi, energi kinetik.

Abstract

ANALISIS KEBIJAKAN PENDIDIKAN INKLUSI: STUDI KASUS DI SEKOLAH DASAR JAMBIAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan mendiskripsikan jenis kebijakan dan program pendidikan yang dibuat oleh pemerintah khususnya tentang kebijakan pendidikan inklusi terkait dengan kurikulum pendidikan inklusi, rekrutmen guru pembimbing khusus (GPK), dan sarana prasarana di sekolah dengan kebijakan pendidikan inklusi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan delapan informan, observasi di lima kelas, dan dokumentasi di SD Negeri 131/IV Jambi yang menjadi tempat penelitian ini. Data wawancara dianalisis dengan menggunakan ?within case and cross-case analysis? antarinforman. Data observasi dicatat dan disajikan sesuai dengan tema hasil wawancara dan data dokumen digunakan sebagai pembanding data wawancara dan observasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjabarkan tentang tidak ada persiapan penerimaan murid baru dan kurangnya perhatian pemerintah atas dukungan sarana prasarana. Penyajian data juga termasuk tantangan yang dihadapi dalam penerapan pendidikan inklusi di Provinsi Jambi. Saran dan masukan berupa peran aktif pihak sekolah dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan inklusi, melakukan perekrutan guru yang baik, dan bagi pemerintah untuk mendukung sarana dan prasarana pendidikan.AbstractThis study was aimed at exploring and describing the types of education policies and programs developed by the government, especially on inclusive education policies related to inclusion-education curriculum, special mentor recruitment, and infrastructure facilities in the schools which implemented inclusive education policies. The study used a qualitative approach with a case-study method. The data were collected through interviews with 8 informants, 5 classroom observations, and documentation at the State Elementary School 131/ IV Jambi. The interview data were analyzed using within-case and cross-case analyses among informants. The observational data were recorded and presented in accordance with the theme of the interview results and documentation data was used as the comparison. The results show that there is no new student admission preparation, and the lack of government attention on infrastructure supports. The presentation of data also includes the challenges faced in implementing inclusive education in Jambi. The suggestion for school parties in the implementation of inclusive education is by conducting teacher recruitment and for the government to support educational facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengabdian IPTEK diadakan dengan latar belakang bahwa pada dasarnya penggunaan komputer dalam proses belajar, akan melahirkan suasana yang menyenangkan bagi anak. Gambar-gambar dan suara yang muncul juga membuatanak tidak cepat bosan, sehingga dapat merangsang anak mengetahui lebih jauh lagi. Sisi baiknya, anak menjadi lebih tekun dan terpicu untuk belajar berkonsentrasi Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut telah dilakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam proses belajar mengajar pengenalan teknologi informasi melalui pengalaman langsung yaitu pelatihan-penerapan dan evaluasi dalam pembelajaran komputer di TK. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukan bahwa pengenalan teknologi informasi pada guru TK, dapat membantu guru dalam pembelajaran yang merangsang pertumbuhan otak, merangsang imajinsi, kreatifitas, memperbaiki pengenalan huruf alpabet dan meningkatkan kemampuan verbal anak. Berdasarkan kegiatan tersebut diatas dapat disimpulkan pembelajaran berbasis komputer sebaga pengenalan teknologi informasi pada guru TK adalah pemberian dasar teknologi informasi (komputer) agar guru-guru TK mampu mengantisipasi kemajuan pada era informasi yang mulai diimplementasikan pada dunia pendidikan. Abstract

Penelitian ini diarahkan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah kualitas pembelajaran dengan pendekatan area di TK melalui pengembangan kemampuan guru bertanya divergen dan kendala/hambatan yang dihadapi guru ?. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi yang akurat tentang kualitas pembelajaran dengan pendekatan area di TK melalui kemampuan guru bertanya divergen kepada pemerintah dalam hal ini Dinas Pendidikan dan mendapatkan informasi mengenai kendala/hambatan yang dihadapi guru maupun sekolah dalam pembelajaran. Manfaat penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadikan masukan guna perbaikan metode pembelajaran dengan pendekatan area. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan pertama, pembelajaran dengan pendekatan area melalui kemampuan guru bertanya divergen dapat meningkat kualitas dan efektifitas pembelajaran di TK, yang mana kreatif, ekspresif, bisa cepat bersosialisasi dengan teman satu kelas, produktivitas dan motivasi dalam belajar siswa lebih baik dibanding siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran area tanpa disertai kemampuan guru bertanya divergen. Motivasi, semangat, produktivitas, kedisiplinan, pertumbuhan, kepuasan dan metode guru dalam mengajar juga sangat baik walaupun telah mencukupi untuk keterlaksanaan pembelajaran srana prasarana masih harus ditambah dari segi jumlah. Kedua, yang menjadi hambatan adalah penguasaan tentang pengelolaan, pemanfaatan sarana prasarana dalam mengajukan pertanyaan divergen kepada siswa masih kurang, monitoring dan supervisi rutin juga masih perlu ditingkatkan.Kata Kunci: kualitas pembelajaran; pendekatan area; bertannya devergen

Abstract

Katalis CaO dari abu cangkang kelomang (Paguroidea) telah berhasil dibuat melalui proses kalsinasi pada suhu 900°C selama 4 jam. Variasi waktu kalsinasi 2, 3, dan 4 jam dilakukan untuk mempelajari tentang perubahan fasa sampel. Hasil difraksi sinar-X dari abu cangkang kelomang untuk 2 dan 3 jam menunjukkan bahwa puncak-puncak karakteristik CaCO3 kalsit sedangkan untuk 4 jam berupa kalsium oksida (CaO) dengan puncak karaktersitik pada 2 theta = 32,16°; 37,15°; 53,54°; 64,16° dan 67,5° yang dikonfirmasi sesuai dengan standard CaO (JCPDS N. 82-1690). Hasil SEM menunjukkan informasi topografi dari morfologi partikel katalis untuk waktu 2 dan 3 jam berbentuk agregat yang kurang homogen, jika dibandingkan dengan hasil kalsinasi pada waktu yang lebih lama yaitu 4 jam. Sebaran ukuran parikel untuk 2, 3 dan 4 jam masing-masing memberikan ukuran 0,3 mm-1,5 µm, 34,7 µm ? 1,25 µm, dan 11,4 µm ? 1 µm. Hasil TGA/DSC menunjukan 43,92 % cangkang kelomang mampu terkonversi menjadi CaO dan CaCO3 pada 900°C. Kata kunci: Katalis CaO, katalis heterogen, biodisel

Abstract

A series of carbon with ZSM-5 mesoporous (ZMC) and Ni/ZMC ZSM-5 templates were synthesized and gravimetrically known its adsorption capacity to H2 gases. ZMC carbon was synthesized using a hard template method at a carbonation temperature of 900 oC with sucrose as a source of carbon. A mesoporous ZSM-5 template was synthesized by using a hydrothermal method at an aging and crystallization temperature of respectively 60oC and 150oC for as long as 24 hours. The characterized result of ZMC carbon using XRD powder has shown a diffracted pattern of amorphous carbon. Impregnating Ni with ZMC carbon each resulted in 5%, 15% and 25% of weight, which in turn also resulted in a diffractogram pattern of Ni/ZMC-5, Ni/ZMC-15, and Ni/ZMC-25, where each patterns were uniform and had no additional peaks. The results of SEM-EDAX showed that Ni had been successfully impregnated on the surface of ZMC carbon with a random morphology surface of ZMC carbon. The isothermal results of adsorption ? desorption of N2 showed that the larger the Ni loading on the supporting ZMC carbon, the smaller the surface area of the ZMC specific carbon. The distribution of the pore size that was counted by using the BJH method, which was applied to all the samples, was as big as 3,8 nm. The adsorption capacity of H2 was measured by using the gravimetry method at ambient temperature for Ni/ZMC-5, Ni/ZMC-15, and Ni/ZMC-25, which each gave a weight percentage of 0,331%; 0,663% and 0,649% respectively, whilst the ZMC carbon has a weight of 2,18%.

Abstract

The purpose of the quantitative study with a factorial experimental approach was to examine the significant increase and difference of students’ achievement in reading literacy and vocabulary mastery after being  taught through the SQ3R with authentic texts and simplified texts at one English Study Program Public University in Jambi, Indonesia. The sample of this study was 56 six semester student teachers at one public university in Jambi. To collect the data, pre-test and post-test techniques were used. The result of paired sample t-test showed that there was a significant progress in students’ achievement of reading literacy and vocabulary mastery of both experimental groups. Moreover, the result of independent sample t-test analysis showed that there was no significant difference in students’ achievement of reading literacy and vocabulary mastery between both experimental groups as well as level of achievement. The factorial analysis showed that there was an interaction between the kind of texts and students’ level of achievement both high and low achievers.  Implications of findings and suggestions are discussed

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to discover the optimum pH treatment combination for the inflow and the optimum holding period for treatment of liquid tapioca waste quality through using anaerobic  up-flow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) system. This research employed a completely randomized block design with two factors, namely optimum pH levels 5.73 (control) and pH 7 + 1, and the time factor which was divided into 6 periods 2,4,6,8,10, and 12 hours respectively. The data was analyzed through a variance analysis, if there was a discrepancy/an anomaly, then further DMRT tests were initiated, the treatment that produced effluent being within waste quality standards, i.e. with COD of ≤ 300 mg/l, a TSS ≤ of 100 mg/l, a DO of ≤ 6 mg /l and a pH factor of between 6 and 9, it was considered to be the best treatment. However, should there have been more than the treatment with the above results, and then the final choice was based on that treatment which had the lowest UASB start up costs. The results of the tests indicated that pH inflow levels have a most significant effect on COD, DO, and pH effluent levels, but has little effect on TSS. Furthermore, holding periods also have an enormous influence one effluent COD, DO, TSS and pH levels. In addition, the interaction of pH and holding times also have a major effect on effluent TSS levels and a really significant effect  on COD, DO and pH. It was found that the DO concentrations from all treatments were less than 6 mg/l. And the treatment that gave a waste discharge into the environment within regulatory standards for COD,  TSS, and pH, was the one with a pH input level of 4.73 (control), a holding period of 12 hours and a COD of 283 mg/l, this produced an effluent of 57 mg/l TSS and pH of 7.20. The best treatment was that with a waste inflow of 4.73 pH and holding period of 12 hours, this one also had the lowest start-up costs Rp. 37,875,000 and operational costs Rp. 25,050 per day. The optimum size reactor for small scale industry had a diameter of 3 mm and a height of 5.73 m, and for medium a sized plant, it was of 4 m diameter and 8.88 m in height. Abstract

This report drew on a larger study which was to describe and understand the sources of senior high school students’ English language speaking anxiety at senior high schools in Jambi, Indonesia. The purpose of this paper was to report some of findings from the qualitative interview data on the sources of senior high school students’ English language speaking anxiety at one senior high school in Jambi, Indonesia. Data were collected through demographic profiles and semi-structured interview with senior high school students. The demographic data were analysed descriptively while the interview data were transcribed and analysed line by line to generate and develop codes and themes. An analysis of the interview data revealed that five major themes were related to students’ English language speaking anxiety, including (1) low speaking skill due to lack of vocabulary and grammar, (2) fear of negative responses from others, (3) low self-esteem to speak in English, (4) fear of being evaluated by teachers, and (5) cultural influences to speak English due to a more teacher-centred style. Suggestions and policy implications are also discussed.
