Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan model outdoor learning melalui project berbasis local wisdom yang layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika, (2) mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan model outdoor learning melalui project berbasis local wisdom. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan metode pengembangan R & D (Research dan Development). Pada tahap Development, peneliti mengadopsi model 4D, yaitu Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model outdoor learning melalui project berbasis local wisdom yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dari segi produk pendukung pembelajaran yang memenuhi kriteria sangat tinggi menurut para ahli, praktis menurut guru dan peserta didik. Lembar observasi yang memenuhi kriteria valid dan reliabel berdasarkan hasil ICC dan tes hasil belajar yang memenuhi kriteria valid dan reliabel berdasarkan hasil Quest. Selain itu, model outdoor learning melalui project berbasis local wisdom lebih efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika dilihat dari hasil analisis multivariate dan GLMMDs yang memperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 dan MD yang tinggi.   AbstractThis research was aimed to: (1) produce outdoor learning via project based suitable local wisdom model used in physics learning, (2) know the effectiveness in using outdoor learning via project based local wisdom model. This developing research used a R & D method (Research and Development). On Development step, the researcher adopted 4D model, they were Define, Design, Develop, dan Dissemination. The results showed that the developed outdoor learning via project based local wisdom model was suitable to be used in terms of learning support product that was in very high category according expert, practical according teacher and students. In addition the observation sheet was in valid criteria and reliabel based on ICC and the learning outcome test was in valid criteria and reliabel based on Quest. Besides, outdoor learning via project based local wisdom model was effective to be used in physics learning, seen from analysis result of multivariate and GLMMDs got 0,000 significant score and very high of MD.

Abstract

Ada tiga permasalahan yang dipecahkan melalui penelitian ini, yaitu: Bagaimana pengembangan penilaian otentik di SMP Negeri I Ngemplak sehingga guru mendapatkan pengalaman pengelolaan pembelajaran fisika melalui penilaian otentik? Bagaimana langkah pengembangan penilaian otentik yang dapat mendorong guru agar mampu menerapkan penilaian otentik dalam pembelajaran fisika? Bagaimana memberikan alternatif bentuk  penilaian yang dapat memberikan keyakinan kepada guru bahwa pembelajaran dan penilaian otentik bersifat kontekstual? Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang berkolaborasi dengan dua orang guru fisika di SMP Negeri I Ngemplak. Subjek penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah siswa kelas IXc berjumlah 40 orang. Walaupun sekolah sudah memiliki sejumlah perangkat komputer untuk pembelajaran, namun subjek penelitian tidak mendapat mata pelajaran Teknologi Informasi. Sebagian besar siswa-siswa ini tidak memiliki dan belum terbiasa dengan perangkat komputer, sehingga pada umumnya mereka belum dapat mengoperasikan komputer dengan baik. Dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini telah dilakukan sebanyak 3 siklus yang ternyata mampu memberikan suasana pembelajaran fisika di SMP Negeri I Ngemplak Sleman secara interaktif dan kondusif. Ada dua strategi pembelajaran fisika di dalam penelitian ini, yakni menggunakan media interaktif berupa program software komputer dan kegiatan praktikum. Kedua strategi tersebut menekankan kemandirian siswa dalam berinteraksi dengan sumber dan bahan ajar serta kerjasama di dalam kelompok. Strategi FIKIR melalui media komputer dan media praktikum sangat efektif untuk meningkatkan minat dan partisipasi belajar serta hasil belajar fisika siswa-siswa kelas IXc SMP Negeri I Ngemplak, Sleman, Yogyakarta.   Kata-kata kunci: penilaian otentik, strategi FIKIR

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan kelayakan dan menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran fisika aktif tipe learning tournament berbasis local wisdom Kabupaten Purworejo untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan nilai karakter, (2) mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa setelah menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran fisika aktif tipe learning tournament berbasis local wisdom Kabupaten Purworejo, (3) mendeskripsikan peningkatan nilai karakter siswa setelah menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran fisika aktif tipe learning tournament berbasis local wisdom Kabupaten Purworejo, and (4) Mendeksripsikan keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran fisika aktif tipe learning tournament  berbasis local wisdom  Kabupaten Purworejo  yang dikembangkan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan nilai karakter siswa. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model 4D, antara lain define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan nilai karakter dengan efektif. Hal ini ditunjukkan berdasarkan penilaian expert judgment serta N-Gain yang mendukung serta adanya perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan nilai karakter yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol.Kata Kunci: Perangkat pembelajaran, pembelajaran fisika, active learning, learning tournament, local wisdom, kemampuan pemahaman konsep, nilai karakter.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pendekatan inquiry based learning untuk meningkatkan karakter disiplin, kreatif, percaya diri, dan kerjasama peserta didik. Metode yang diguna-kan adalah metode quasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X dan XI jurusan IPA di SMA Negeri 1 Godean dan SMA Negeri 1 Ngaglik. Sampel di SMA Negeri 1 Godean dilakukan dengan teknik clustur random sampling, sedangkan sampel di SMA Negeri 1 Ngaglik dilaku-kan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan angket untuk masing-masing karakter. Angket yang digunakan bersifat tertutup. Pengukuran didasarkan pada skor yang diper-oleh peserta didik berdasarkan pengisian angket. Teknik analisis data meng-gunakan standard gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: pendekatan inquiry based learning lebih efektif daripada pendekatan konvensional untuk meningkatkan karakter disiplin, kreatif, percaya diri, kerjasama peserta didik dalam pembelajaran fisika.Kata kunci: inquiry based learning, karakter, disiplin, kreatif, percaya diri, kerjasama

Abstract

This study applies the unidimensional Rasch Model assumptions in identifying physics learning difficulties based on students' self-regulation abilities. A total of 126 physics teacher candidates have been observed for one semester. Self-project as a learning strategy has been used. Data were collected using 20 items in rating scales and then analyzed quantitatively to get feasibility in measuring self-regulation skills. The results have shown that the profile items analyzed by the Rasch Model are feasible to measure self-regulation skills through a self-sustaining project strategy. Most physics teacher candidates have a medium ability of 51% in the process of self-regulation, high = 33%, and low = 16%. The implications of applying self-projects to the processes of self-regulation are discussed in this article.

Abstract

Creative thinking is high-order thinking that is not easy to stimulate with conventional learning, especially to solve complex physics problems. However, the learning strategy chosen must be in accordance with the teaching materials and students characteristics. Creative thinking is very important especially for low-ability characteristic in solving complicated physics problems; therefore, it needs to be triggered by student-centered learning strategies such as project briefs. This research was to analyze the effect of project brief learning on creative thinking skills (CrTS) of low-ability pre-service physics theacers. Sample was selected using purposive sampling (97 people) in the initial semester pre-service physics teachers which consisted of three classes A (32 people), B (35 people), and C (30 people). Data collection through essay tests on vibration and wave material and adjusted according to the CrTS-Kim indicators. The results show that the project brief has a positive effect on creative thinking skills. The highest effect on the fluency indicator has an average of 15.7 compared to the lecture strategy, as well as the mixture with an average of 9.89, and the lowest on the originality indicator.

Abstract

By using the power resources available at school, teachir are hoped to have knowledge and skills in developing the teaching and learning of physics in order to make learners acheve competency through many kinds of learning activities. A teaching and learning scenario is needed as an operational teachers guide in developing both the learning process in class and outdoor learning activities. The problem is that most teachers of physics still have insufficient skills to develop a competency-based teaching and learning scenario of physic. This artikel is to help them with a reding material that may increase thir comprehension of and knowledge in designing and developing such a scenario. They will benefit by having better skills in and knhwledge of desingning and developing that kind of scenario.The teaching and learning of physics must be directed to developing not only student competency in the cognitive domain but also thir competencies in the psychomotor and affective domain.

Abstract

This objective of the study is to find out the effectiveness of the Internet as a reference source for the classification of living things (1) in terms of students’ learning outcomes, (2) which was reviewed from the students’ mindmapping, (3) students’ learning outcomes dan students’ mindmapping. This was quasi-experimental study with the pretest-posttest control group design. The subject of this study was all of the grade VII students of SMP N 10 Yogyakarta. A sample of fifty-eight students grouped into two classes, namely class VII C and class VII D was established using the purpose sampling technique. The instruments used were a test to find out the students’ learning outcomes, observation sheets to reveal the students ability in making a mind map, and the students’ response questionnaire to reveal the students’opinion on the internet and mind map. The hypothesis test used was T test and Hotelling`s T2  multivariat test (manova). The results of the study shows that the internet as a reference source on the classification of living things on the grade VII students of  SMP N 10 Yogyakarta is effective which was shown by the attainment of absolute gain score results for the treatment group. The score is 10, 14 higher than the control group, and the achievement of a gain standard score for the treatment group is 0.2 higher than the control group. The Internet has not been effective which was shown by the percentage result of the lower treatment class achievement compared with the control classs achievements in terms of the students’ mindmapping. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran fisika dengan kerja laboratorium ditinjau dari ketercapaian pemahaman konsep fisika, sikap disiplin dan tangung jawab siswa SMA. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri Megang Sakti, dengan sampel 2 kelas MIA, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan pengelajaran dengan menggunakan kerja laboratorium dan kelas kontrol dengan perlakuan penmbelajaran dengan demonstrasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan capaian pemahaman konsep fisika, sikap disiplin dan tangung jawab siswa antara pembelajaran dengan kerja laboratorium dan demonstrasi. Berdasarkan hasil uji gain, pembelajran fisika dengan kerja laboratorium lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan demonstrasi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep fisika, sikap disiplin dan tangung jawab siswa SMA.
