Abstract

This study aims to develop an e-module as a medium of learning for the practice course of Measuring Instruments and Measurement in the Department of Electronics Engineering Education of Yogyakarta State University and to determine the feasibility of the e-module. This study employed a method of research and development. The development process was conducted through four phases by using the model of Lee and Owens which consisted of analysis phase, design phase, developing and implementation phase, as well as evaluation phase.The evaluation was conducted in several stages. Firstly, an alpha test for product validation was conducted by the experts on material and media. After that, a beta test was conducted by testing the product in small group users. The subjects of this study were the students of Electronics Engineering. The instruments used to collect the data were a validation sheet and questionnaires. The results of qualitative data were then modified into quantitative data with a range of 1 to 5, then they were converted with a rating scale to determine the feasibility of the medium. The results showed that based on the alpha test, the medium was in a very high quality. Meanwhile, in the beta test of the instructional aspect, in terms of material and evaluation and the multimedia aspect the e-module was respectively considered feasible and quite feasible. The four indicators namely text, image, animation and video were all generally considered feasible. In terms of usage aspect, the e-module was considered feasible where its two indicators, namely instructions and navigation, were generally regarded as very feasible by all respondents.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to determine the development process of graphic and parametric equalizer trainer media in the course of Audio System and to examine the quality of the media. The development process of the media referred to the model offered by Lee and Owens. The research procedures consisted of assessment/analysis, designing, implementation and evaluation. The results of the study showed that the percentages for the quality aspect of the media and the companion module were 4.31 and 4.42 respectively. Based on these two aspects, it was obtained the overall percentage that was equal to 4.36. Whereas from the process of the trial by the students, the percentages of the media and the companion module were 4.47 and 4.36 respectively. Thus the level of validity and feasibility of the media was categorized as very good.

Abstract

This research to description result Observationaling to conclude that: character point instillings most ridicules into 3 groups. a ). Character education points already walks properly which is relegius?s character point, creativity character point and independence character point, b ) character education points a new one executed at sufficiently which is sincerity, discipline and democracy, c ) character education points that was performed or still so minim which is tolerance, hard-earned, inquiring taste, nationalistic spirit, country love, pricing achievement, brotherly/comunicating, placating love, like to read, environmental care, social care and responsible. Meanwhile bases observation, Education learning process Islam that gets bearing with education point instillings characters on student, get concluded that teacher third that was optimal deep instilling assesses character education on islam education subject.

Abstract

The study examined the factors affected teachers' Technology, Pedagogy and Content Knowledge (TPACK). Those factors are Technology Knowledge (TK), Pedagogy Knowledge (PK), Content Knowledge (CK) and Technology Pedagogy Knowledge (TPK). Curriculum 2013 has been applying for 5 years. However, an evaluation of how does the teacher deliver learning subjects (pedagogy knowledge), and the implementation of subject mastery (content knowledge) and technology mastery (technology knowledge) is strongly suggested. The study was quantitative with an associative method involving 200 teachers in Salatiga region as samples drawn with simple random sampling. The results of the study showed that PK has a positive effect on TPACK, while TK and CK do not have a positive effect on TPACK. Furthermore, TK, TPK, PK have positive effects on TPK, and TPK has a positive effect on TPACK. This study also suggested that age influences the development of technological knowledge and if one of the knowledge is not possessed by a teacher, the learning process will achieve maximum outcomes.

Abstract

Tilapias are indigeneous species to Africa, but interest in their aquaculture potential has led to nearly worldwide distribution of the species within the past fifty years. The most popular species of tilapias cultured in the world is Oreochromis niloticus. Red tilapia, one of tilapia varieties, is a highly valued commodity in global market. Based on this reason, red tilapia culture should be developed to supply the market demand. Tilapias can be culturred in brackishwater ponds due to its tolerant ability to saline water. This study was carried out to know the potential of tilapia especially the NIFI red tilapia cultured in saline water. The seeds of NIFI red tilapia were reared in three levels of salinity, i.e. 10, 20, and 30 ppt with 0 ppt as the control population. The experiment was conducted in wet laboratory for 56 days. The results showed that the difference of salinity level did not affect the performance of NIFI red tilapia, including specific growth rate, survival rate, total biomass, and food conversion ratios. Based on these results, it is suggested that NIFI red tilapia can be cultured in saline waters.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan desain DSS dan mengetahui kualitas DSS yang dipakai instruktur dalam menentukan metode pelatihan e-learning berbasis Moodle bagi guru SMK.Penelitian dan pengembangan ini melalui lima fase yaitu: asesmen/analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Subyek penelitian adalah guru SMK di Kota Yogyakarta, Sleman dan Magelang 75 responden need assessment and analysis, 15 guru uji beta, 24 guru untuk evaluasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar kuesioner need assessment and analysis, lembar validasi ahli pelatihan, lembar uji alfa, lembar uji beta dan lembar evaluasi pelatihan.HasilpenelitianmenunjukkanDSS memberikan alternatif keputusan secara cepat melalui empat pertimbangan berdasarkan peserta, tujuan, keuntungan, dan level. Hasil uji alfa dan beta DSS menunjukkanskor 4,14dan 4,02 atau kategori “baik”.SedangkanakurasiDSS melalui evaluasi terhadap 24 pesertapelatihane-learningmenunjukkan 88,14%akurat. DEVELOPING A DSSFOR DETERMINING THE METHOD OF MOODLE-BASEDE-LEARNINGTRAINING FOR VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERSAbstractThis study aims to produce the DSS design and knowing the quality of the DSS is used in determining instructor training method based on Moodle e-learning for Vocational High School teachers. This study was a research and development conducted in five steps, i.e. need assessment/analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The subject was teachers of SMK at Yogyakarta City, Sleman and Magelang, there were 75 respondents for needs assessment and analysis 15 teachers for beta testing, 24 teachers for evaluation. The instruments of the data collection were validation sheets for the needs assessment and analysis, alpha test sheets, beta test sheets and training evaluation sheets.The result of the study shows the following: the DSSprovides an alternativerapiddecisionsthroughfourconsiderationsbased on: participants, objectives, benefits, andlevel.The Alpha test and Beta test results show a mean score of 3.92 and 4.02 or the DSS is in the “good” category. While, the accuracy of the DSS through an evaluation of 24 participants of the e-learning training shows 88,14% accuracy.

Abstract

Sherlock adalah sebuah adaptasi dari cerita Sherlock Holmes dalam bentuk drama televisi di BBC One. Sherlock menggunakan latar abad ke-21, sebagai pengganti jaman Victoria (1830-1901) seperti cerita asli Sherlock Holmes. Karakter tokoh Sherlock Holmes, terutama orientasi seksualnya  menimbulkan perdebatan di kalangan kritisi dan penggemar cerita Sherlock. Hal ini terjadi karena penulis cerita tidak secara jelas dan tegas memberikan gambaran tentang orientasi seksual dari Sherlock Holmes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tanda-tanda yang merepresentasikan aseksualitas pada tokoh Sherlock Holmes sebagai pribadi yang menunjukkan ciri-ciri aseksualitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Semiotika Ferdinand de Saussure. Dasar analisis aseksualitas yang digunakan adalah 10 ciri-ciri aseksualitas dari  Decker. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan Sherlock Holmes adalah seorang aseksual karena memenuhi 8 dari 10 ciri-ciri aseksual menurut Decker.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the program of Cottage Industry (Industri Rumahan) in Cilegon Municipalty, Banten.  Development of Cottage Industry (IR) is a program initiated by Kementerian Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak (KPPPA). The program will run for three years from 2016 to 2018. For 2016, the program is implemented in 14 districts and municipalities, one of which is Cilegon Municipality, Banten. Data collection is done by interviewing IR perpetrators and assistants. In addition, the data was collected by analyzing the documents such as the records of the implementing team meetings, the companion worker reports, mapping reports and mapping results analysis in the two urban villages that were the locations of IR development implementation. The validity test of data is done by triangulation of source and method.The study concluded that in general the implementation of IR development program in Cilegon Municipality, namely in Villages Ketileng and Bandengan, has followed the development pattern established by KPPPA. It's just that in some stages is not working properly. The stages that have problems are when determining the number of IR actors who get help and production equipment distribution. Many IR actors protest that they are not included in the IR development program. In addition to the production equipment that is distributed to IR actors, some are not in accordance with their needs so that less than the maximum.
