Abstract

Electricity is the source of the needs of people all over the world with electricity all human work will be easy, the main thing is electricity is a source of lighting without electricity, so there will not be an era and technology, but the use of electricity by many people who do not care about the electricity impact is a lot short circuit and fire because many electricity users do not know the current of electric current in their homes. Thus the author makes a tool that can measure the voltage used. Tools made using ACS712 and Arduino Uno sensors and Ethernet shield. The sensor will read the power supply voltage and then process it to Arduino Uno and Ethernet shield. After processing via Arduino, the ACS712 sensor readings will be displayed on the web page.

Abstract

This study aims to measure how PT. PLN Area Malang performance using Balanced Scorecard concept. Balanced Scorecard is strategic management system that translate mission and strategy of organisation in objective and operational measurement. Objective and measurement develop to four perspective namely: financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business process perspective, and learning and growth perspective. This case study research use primary data and secondary data from 2012-2013. Data collecting technique conducted using interview with management and employee in charge at PT PLN Area Malang, and also using documentation method, that is data collection which source from report or note in company. Four perspective used in this research consist of financial perspective (ROA, Profit margin, TATO, operating ratio), customer perspective (customer retention, customer acquisition, customer complain) internal business process perspective (SAIDI, SAIFI and connection shrink) and learning and growth perspective (employee productivity,employee training and employee turnover). The results of PT PLN Area Malang performance measurement with Balanced Scorecard approach generally has shown balance performance between every perspective. Customer perspective and learning and growth perspective gain higher performance from year 2012 to year 2013, while financial perspective and internal business perspective experience degradation performance from year 2012 to year 2013. Abstract

Kaki naga ikan merupakan produk diversifikasi dimana tekstur menjadi salah satu parameter penting dalam penentuan mutu produk. Penggunaan bahan pengikat dan waktu penggorengan yang berbeda akan mempengaruhi tekstur dan mutu produk kaki naga. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan bahan pengikat dan waktu penggorengan terhadap mutu produk kaki naga ikan. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Ikan Tenggiri. Bahan pengikat yang digunakan yaitu tepung sagu, terigu dan tapioka. Waktu penggorengan yang digunakan adalah 1, 2 dan 3 menit. Metode penelitian yang digunakan bersifat eksperimental laboratoris dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK). Penelitian awal meliputi penggunaan bahan pengikat yang berbeda dengan konsentrasi 10%, kemudian diuji yang terbaik berdasarkan gel strength, uji lipat, gigit dan proksimat, tepung yang terbaik yaitu tapioka. Kaki naga dengan tepung terbaik kemudian dilakukan penelitian selanjutnya yaitu penggorengan dengan waktu 1, 2 dan 3 menit. Parameter yang diamati adalah uji hedonik, hardness dan proksimat. Hasil penelitian awal menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan tepung yang berbeda memberikan perbedaan yang nyata (p<0,05) terhadap uji gel strength, uji lipat dan gigit. Nilai tertinggi didapatkan tepung tapioka dengan nilai gel strength 843,13 gf.cm, kadar air 55,54%, kadar lemak 0,41% dan kadar protein 12,65%. Penelitian lanjutan menunjukan bahwa waktu penggorengan yang berbeda memberikan perbedaan yang nyata (p<0,05) terhadap uji hedonik, hardness, kadar air, lemak dan protein. Waktu penggorengan terbaik didapat 2 menit dengan nilai hedonik 7,453 7,634, hardness 545,13 gf, kadar air 45,32%, kadar lemak 4,18%, kadar protein 9,37%. Fish drum stick is a diversified of fishery products where the texture become one of the important parameter to determine the quality of products. The use of binders and different frying time will affect to the texture and quality of fish drum stick product. The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of the binders and frying time on the fish drum stick quality. The material used in this study were Spanish Mackerel Fish. In this study three different binders were used as follows sago, wheat and tapioca flour; and three different frying times (1, 2 and 3 minutes). The method used was experimental laboratory with a randomized block design (RBD). The first phase used three different binders with 10% concentration of each binders, then quality of the best fish drum stick was analyzed for gel strength test, folding test, teeth cutting test and proximate. They were analyzed for further study with different frying times (1, 2 and 3 minutes). Parameters measured were hedonic test, hardness and proximate analysis. Results of a phase I study showed that the use of different flour gives a significanly difference (P <0.05) against gel strength, folding test and teeth cutting test. The highest value obtained is tapioca flour with gel strength 843.13 gf.cm, water content 55.54%, fat content 0.41%  and protein content 12.65%. Sudy Phase II showed that different frying time provide significantly effect (P <0.05) to the hedonic test, hardness, moisture content, fat and protein. Frying time 2 minutes with the best obtained hedonic value 7,453 7,634, 545.13 gf hardness, moisture content 45.32%, fat content 4.18%, protein content 9,37%.

Abstract

Pepino fruit is a fruit that is included in the family solanaceae and can be developed as a base for the manufacture of syrup. The purpose of this study is to get the quality of pepino fruit syrup production on the scale and get production planning at the micro-scale industries. The research was done by the previous research scaling, ie pepino fruit syrups with the addition of carrageenan 0.4% (w / v), and be repeated twice. The results of chemical testing showed that a total of 69.15 brix syrup solids, viscosity of 1.53 cps, vitamin C of 3.02 mg / 100ml, and 66.4% total sugar. Physical tests using paired comparison test shows the results of the micro-scale industry is not different from the results of preliminary research. The need for utilities including water IDR 24743.00 / month, electricity is IDR 37,033.00 / month, and LPG at IDR 246,093.00 / month. Financial analysis includes determination of  HPP IDR 1240.94 / bottle, BEP achieved unit sales volume at 1689 units, and the payback period for 2 years and 3 months 18 days. Keywords: Fruit Pepino, Carragenan, Production Planning, Syrup Fruit Pepino, Micro Scale Industries

Abstract

"Mi Lethek" industry is an industry that produce dry noodles. In the production process of "Mi Lethek" industry, there were some waste that could inflict a financial loss for industry. Waste that occur in "Mi Lethek" industry were unnecessary = inventory and excessive transportation. To reduce that waste, lean manufacturing approach is required. Lean approach functionalized as a system for identified all of activities in "Mi Lethek" industry. That activities were classified into two kind activities, namely value added activity and non value added activity. The time of each activity used to calculate the process cycle efficiency (PCE). Based on the research, the existing score of PCE in "Mi Lethek" industry was 12,05%. The recommendations for increase PCE are relayouting the plant and change the order scheduling of raw materials. These recommendations could increase PCE score  to 15,68 %.ABSTRAKIndustri “Mi Lethek” merupakan industri yang menghasilkan produk berupa mi kering berbahan baku tepung tapioka. Pada proses pengolahan mi di industri “Mi Lethek”, terdapat berbagai pemborosan (waste) yang dapat merugikan industri. Diantara pemborosan yang terjadi berupa persediaan bahan baku yang belum diperlukan dan transportasi berlebih. Untuk mereduksi pemborosan tersebut diperlukan suatu perbaikan pada value stream  menggunakan pendekatan lean. Pendekatan lean difungsikan sebagai sebuah sistem yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi seluruh aktivitas yang ada pada industri “Mi Lethek”. Aktivitas-aktivitas tersebut kemudian digolongkan menjadi dua jenis aktivitas, yaitu aktivitas yang memberikan nilai tambah dan aktivitas yang tidak memberikan nilai tambah. Waktu dari masing-masing aktivitas tersebut yang selanjutnya digunakan untuk menghitung nilai process cycle effieciensy (PCE). PCE adalah efisiensi relatif dalam sebuah proses yang mer=wakili presentase waktu yang digunakan untuk menambah nilai pada produk dibandingkan total waktu yang digunakan produk selama dalam proses. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan nilai PCE awal dari industri "Mie Lethek" sebesar 12,05%. Perbaikan yang dilakukan ialah dengan mengubah tata letak pabrik dan melakukan perbaikan penjadwalan pemesanan bahan baku. Hasil perbaikan tersebut berhasil meningkatkan nilai PCE menjadi 15,08%.

Abstract

Airline fleet assignment plays important role for efficient operation of airlines. In order tosave costs from the procurement and maintenance of extra aircrafts, the airline operatorswould always seek to minimise the fleet size, while at the same time being able to operateall the flights without shortage of aircraft. Therefore, the daily flight schedule of the airlinemust be prepared in such a way that the destinations can be served with minimum numberof aircrafts. Considering this, there is huge prospect of using optimisation techniques toselect the optimum mix of various types of aircrafts in the airline fleet and thereby toproduce an optimum flight schedule.Keywords: Integer Linear Programming, Fleet Assignment Model (FAM) algorithms.Integrated Schedules Design (ISD), Extended Schedules Design (ESD) algorithms.

Abstract

Airline fleet assignment plays important role for efficient operation of airlines. In order to save costs from the procurement and maintenance of extra aircrafts, the airline operators would always seek to minimise the fleet size, while at the same time being able to operate all the flights without shortage of aircraft. Therefore, the daily flight schedule of the airline must be prepared in such a way that the destinations can be served with minimum number of aircrafts. Considering this, there is huge prospect of using optimisation techniques to select the optimum mix of various types of aircrafts in the airline fleet and thereby to produce an optimum flight schedule.

Abstract

Small Medium Enterprise (SME) that has good supply chain performance can help its ability to solve business problems. In fact, there are still a lot of SMEs that fail in supply chain management due to many factors influencing their implementation. This research aims to analysis relation between factors influencing supply chain and the performance of supply chain management in Tempe Chips Industries in Sanan Village Malang.Data collections were done through questionnaire deployed to 200 owners or manager of Tempe Chips SME in SananVillage, Malang. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Analysis result shows that information sharing and customer service give the most dominant influence to supply chain management’s performance in Sanan’s Tempe Chips industries.

Abstract

ABSTRAKUsaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) memiliki peran sebagai pendorong perkembangan ekonomi Indonesia. Salah satu UKM di sektor pangan yang berpotensi dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi adalah UKM keripik tempe Sanan, Malang. UKM keripik tempe Sanan dituntut untuk terus berkompetisi untuk mampu bertahan dalam persaingan pasar. Salah satu cara peningkatan kekuatan kompetisi tersebut melalui pengembangan manajemen rantai pasokan. Namun, permasalahan yang sering timbul adalah manajemen rantai pasokan tidak selalu sukses diterapkan pada UKM. Hal tersebut dikarenakan terdapat berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhi manajemen rantai pasokan seperti arusnpasokan, kekuatan dalam pembelian, serta peralatan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara faktor arus pasokan, peralatan kerja, serta kekuatan pembelian terhadapbpenerapan manajemen rantai pasokan, yang diukur melalui fleksibilitas UKM dalam mengirimkan produk dan tingkat biaya akibat penyimpanan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuisioner kepada 200 pengelola UKM keripik tempe Sanan dan menganalisa menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dalam rangka mengoptimalkan kinerja manajemen rantai pasokan, pengelola UKM keripik tempe wajib memberikan perhatian terhadap kelancaran arus pasokan bahan baku demi kelancaran bisnis. Peningkatan arus pasokan mampu diatasi melalui kerjasama yang baik dengan pemasok dan bergabung dengan koperasi usaha keripik tempe SananABSTRACTSmall Medium Enterprise (SME) gives main contribution to Indonesian’s economic development. Keripik tempe industry in Sanan, Malang is one food industry and one of SME which has to improve its competitivess in order to raise its profit, through the development of Supply Chain Management (SCM). However, the implementation of SCM in SME has many difficulties such as the material supply, buying power, and equipments. The research aims is analysing relationship between variable of material supply, buying power, and equipment to the performance of SCM by analysing the flexibility of shipment and logistic cost. Deployment of questioners was conducted to 200 owners of keripik tempe industries. Data was analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The result indicated that owners of keripik tempe industries should give attention to material supply to achieve best performance of business and SCM. Increacement of material supply can be solved through good relationship between supplier and involved in business cooperation.

Abstract

Saat ini kontes burung berkicau sudah sangat menjamur dan menjadi trend di kota Malang. Dengan banyaknya pendatang baru dalam dunia kicau burung, masih banyak orang yang belum mengetahui lokasi tempat kontes burung berkicau di kota Malang. Saat ini sudah ada sekitar 20 tempat kontes burung berkicau di kota Malang belum termasuk tempat kontes yang berada diwilayah kabupaten dan kota Batu. Dengan sedikitnya informasi tentang lokasi kontes burung di kota malang pada penelitian ini penulis membuat sistem informasi geografis pemetaan lokasi kontes burung berkicau di kota Malang berbasis web,pengembangan sistem informasi ini dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan waterfall. Dengan adanya sistem informasi ini diharapkan bagi para kicau mania kota Malang maupun dari luar kota bisa mengetahui dimana lokasi kontes burung yang akan mereka tuju.
