Abstract

What was found in this paper strengthen Syaltut Mahmud statement and some other scholars that the orders circumcision, for both men and women, not relying directly on religious scripture text, because no one else valid hadith regarding circumcision command. The arguments presented cleric who require circumcision is very weak. According to Mahmud Syaltut, the command of circumcision in Islam actually be accommodated only through the rule of jurisprudence that injure members of the living body (in this case circumcision) is allowed if it there is the benefit derived from it.DOI: 10.15408/ajis.v15i1.2851

Abstract

This study was conducted to see how English language teaching-learning for young learners was done at Nurul Quran Character Based Islamic School in Aceh Besar. This was a qualitative study in which all data were described in a systematic way based on the research questions. Observation sheets, an interview guide, other documentation, field notes and recordings were used as instruments for this study. The data was analyzed by classification, reduction, display and drawing of conclusions. The subject of this study was an English teacher at Nurul Quran Character Based Islamic School. The findings showed that the teacher made preparations including designing the syllabus and lesson plan and preparing and providing the teaching materials. The activities presented in the classroom were based on what was stated in the lesson plan. The activities were procedural and at the students’ level. The teacher had several problems in conducting the teaching such as problems with the curriculum, syllabus design and lesson plans. Then she had problems with students with special needs and with noisy classes, student discipline, catching students’ attention and even problems with the size of the class and the size of the classroom. However, the teacher was capable of solving all these problems so that the teaching-learning could run well.

Abstract

Information and Communication Technology utilization on academic administration service in college is now a need. It is no longer a prestige or a modern college management lifestyle. The writer conduct an analysis of system information of tuition payment occuring in the college. She develops the system information of the occuring tuition payment by waterfall method and draws a system design described by Unified Modelling Language (UML). The academic integrated and online system can make the system become more efficient and effective so that it produces the more accurate information.Keywords: SDLC, Waterfall, Tuition

Abstract

Application of profit and loss is implemented from the problems that occur at PT. Fachri Syafii Akbar where in the PT there was a problem in recording the report so that sometimes the contents of the report did not match the recording in the admin section and expenditure in the field. This application was created to assist in the process of recording activity reports in the process of completing a project of PT Fachri Syafii Akbar so that there is no difference in the final report, otherwise the application will display the entire history of transactions in and out of transactions during the project. The methodology used is the waterfall method and the implementation of the needs analysis. From the results of field observations, an information flow design was obtained which was then implemented by making a program using Microsoft Visual Basic.Net 2013 and MySQL. The results achieved are the creation of a periodic application in recording the process of project completion activities until the final report.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve students' motivation and learning outcomes of students of class XI IPA SMAN 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur. The classroom action research was conducted in the second semester of the academic year 2013-2014 in period of January until March, as much as four times the meetings which were divided into two cycles. Each cycle was performed twice meetings and one evaluation. The subjects of the study were the  students of class XI IPA 1. To measure students' motivation and learning outcome used student?s activity data during the learning process with guidance observation data, questionnaire data and achievement test data. Then these data were analysed using descriptive analysis method. In the first cycle shows the percentage of student activities, at the first meeting and the second meeting of 45, 71% and 74, 28%. While in the second cycle, the first meeting and the second meeting of 88, 57% and 94, 28%. The Increasing of learning outcomes in the first cycle was shown learning mastery of 59, 38% with an average value of 70, 17. Whereas in second cycle was shown learning mastery of 87,50% with an  average value of 82,76. In addition, the student?s responses are positive towards learning process by implementation of cooperative learning (model STAD) in determination of acid-base solution properties and acidity of solution using natural indicators. It is based on student questionnaire answers which feel happy or satisfied (agree) was 86, 89%. Keywords: Learning outcomes, Learning activities, STAD model, Natural indicators, Learning mastery

Abstract

Metode sufi yang berpijak pada kualifikasi dan pengetahuan hati, berkonsekuensi pada perhatian dan penekanan sufi pada aspek batiniah atau sisi spiritual dari sesuatu. Penerapan metode ini terhadap hukum merupakan kajian yang masih baru. Dalam hal ini, Ibn Arab adalah pemikir sufi komprehensif yang telah menerapkan metode spiritual dalam bidang hukum, begitu lengkap, sistematis, dan yang paling konsisten. Pada tataran praktik agama dalam bentuk fikih, metode spiritual Ibn Arab menawarkan tuntutan untuk merengkuh kesucian hati sebagai substansi dan makna hakiki ibadah dan hukum. Pada tataran kaidah hukum, metode dan pendekatan spiritual-batiniah Ibn Arab menghasilkan doktrin Kasih Sayang Tuhan dalam Hukum, yang mengimplementasikan diri dalam bentuk kaidah kemudahan dalam hukum. Sementara dalam teori hukum, pendekatan spiritualnya membentuk rumusan tentang kedudukan hati sebagai sumber hukum, yang intinya bermuara pada tuntutannya untuk menghasilkan hukum yang melibatkan hati nurani dan menjalankan hukum dengan pelibatan penghayatan terdalam pada makna hakiki hukum.

Abstract

                Various studies on dasyhatnya art learning relationship can affect the development of intelligence can presumably provide learning solutions either at home, school and community. Education should be able to provide the brain experiences of learners. Several studies on nerve cells in the human brain, nerve cells can grow and develop through the medium of art, every art form involves multiple tissues in brain cells. The brain is not a static body elements, which have become so can not be changed. Learning the art of influencing the development of emotional, spiritual, and cultural more than intelligence apart from cognitive intelligence. The type of art that is recommended can affect the brain development of learners and emotional intelligence is the art of music (piano and organ), dance, and painting. Intelligence can help the art of thinking and working learners. Key word: learning, art, influence, development, intelligence, brain, learners, cells, nerves, brain.

Abstract

Dosen adalah komponen penting dalam sistem pendidikan di perguruan tinggi. Tugas utamanya memberikan pendidikan, pengajaran, penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Untuk menjalankan tugas tersebut, dosen harus memiliki empat kompetensi dasar, salah satunya kompetensi akademik yakni kemampuan dosen dalam mengelola pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui kompetensi akademik dosen dalam mengelola pembelajaran meliputi penguasaan landasan kependidikan, pemahaman terhadap peserta didik, perancangan proses pembelajaran dan pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran serta penyusunan evaluasi hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 22 orang dosen Fakultas Tarbiyah IAIN Ar-Raniry. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Kompetensi akademik dosen dalam penguasaan landasan kependidikan sudah baik dan sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku mulai dari latal belakang pendidikan sebelum menjadi pendidik, materi ajar sesuai keilmuan, menguasai tentang ilmu kependidikan dan adanya minat melanjutkan studi ke jenjang lebih tinggi. (2) Pemahaman terhadap peserta didik sudah bagus, adanya kemampuan dalam penguasaan ilmu psikologi/jiwa dan ilmu psikologi pendidikan khusus dalam memahami peserta didik. (3) Perancangan proses pembelajaran sudah membaik. Penguasaan materi ajar, penggunaan strategi, media dan metode serta pembuatan SAP dilaksanakan oleh dosen. (4) Pelaksanaaan proses pembelajaran sudah maksimal, adanya kemampuan berinteraksi dan mengkomunikasikan materi pembelajaran, dapat mengkondisikan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, memiliki ketrampilan dalam memadukan metode dan strategi pembelajaran. (5) Penyusunan evaluasi hasil belajar sudah maksimal, dosen mampu membuat soal dan pembobotannya, mengetahui kemajuan peserta didik, mampu mendiagnosa kesulitan belajar serta dapat memberikan umpan balik dalam memperbaiki proses perkuliahan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat dijadikan dasar untuk meningkatkan kompetensi akademik dosen Fakultas Tarbiyah IAIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Akademik dan Dosen Lecturer is an important component in educational system in higher education. Lecturer???s main duties are providing education, teaching, research and service for society. Lecturer should have four basic competences, one of them is academic competence, which is the lecturer???s competence in teaching management. The purpose of the study was to find out the lecture???s academic competence in teaching management, comprising of the mastery of foundation of education, understanding the learner, learning process design, learning process implementation, and learning outcome evaluation arrangement. This study used descriptive method and qualitative approach. Data collection technique used were observation, interview, and documentation study. Subject of the study were 22 lecturers of Tarbiyah Faculty of Ar-Raniry State Institute for Islamic Studies. The result of the study showed that: (1) academic competence of the lecturer in mastery the foundation of education was good and in accordance with applicable provision such as educational background before became an educator, learning material that in accordance with knowledge, mastery of educational science and interest to continue study to higher level. (2) Understanding toward the learner was good, there was ability in mastery of psychology and psychology of education especially in understanding the learners. (3) The designing of learning process had been improved. The mastery of material, use of strategies, media, methods and subject program unit applied by the lecturers. (4) The implementation of learning process was maximal, there were competence to interact and communicate the learning material, create a conducive learning environment, and combine learning methods and strategies. (5) The development of learning outcome evaluation was maximal. The lecturers were able to develop the question and it scoring, knew the progress of the learners, were able to diagnose the learning difficulty and provide feedback in order to improve the learning process. It is expected that the result of the research can be used as a basic to improve the academic competence of the lecturers of Tarbiyah Faculty of Ar-Raniry State Institute for Islamic Studies. Abstract

This article attempts to explain about the concept of Islamic ethics promulgated by Taqi Misbah Yazdi. Yazdi had placed himself as a proponent to the concept of rational ethics. To him, the propositions of ethics along with moral expressions have obviously explained a causality relation between an action and desired goals of ethics. Commands and prohibitions, in their prescriptive and descriptive forms, manifest the relation between actions and the objectives of ethics along with the legal consequences behind them. As a result, this matter deals with meaning, objective, the value of objectivity, and rationality. The extent of value and truth of certain action is determined by its objectives. Interestingly, this theory does not influence Yazdi to be trapped within utilitarianism materialist-positivist ethics nor it traps him into the dilemma of value relativity which occurs in the West?s theory of ethics. It can be obviously seen the originality and novelty of Yazdi?s thought; not in terms of the content of his theory, instead in his ability to use the ideas of the Western philosophy to clarify his opinions and concepts by combining Herbert Spencer?s evolutionism and Jeremy Bentham?s utilitarianism. Building his concepts on transcendental philosophy of Mulla Sadra, Yazdi?s moral causality has successfully preserve the transcendental logic and its esoteric dimensions; an achievement which could not even be attained by Muslim groups who reject the law of causality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengkaji tentang sejarah budidaya kentang di Tanah Gayo sejak masa kolonial Belanda. Adapun pendekatan dalam penelitian ini ialah pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode sejarah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, sementara teknik analisa data menggunakan kritik sumber (verifikasi) dan penafsiran sumber serta teknik penulisan menggunakan sistematika historiografi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa budidaya kentang di Dataran Tinggi Gayo telah dimulai sejak masa kolonial Belanda. Penanaman kentang awalnya berkembang di daerah Paya Tumpi lalu ke daerah Pondok dan Buntul. Tujuan dari kolonial Belanda menanam kentang adalah untuk konsumsi mereka dan keperluan ekspor. Pengembangan tanaman kentang di Dataran Tinggi Gayo dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti keadaan iklim, keadaan tanah, usaha dari masyarakat atau petani serta peran aktif pemerintah dalam usaha budidaya kentang di Tanah Gayo. Awalnya bibit yang digunakan merupakan bibit kentang lokal atau kentang kuning yang kemudian berkembang bibit kentang varietas baru seperti herta, colombus, selectari, amedius dan granola. Saat ini pengembangan budidaya kentang telah berkembang dengan pesat sehingga mengakibatkan Dataran Tinggi Gayo sebagai daerah sentral produksi kentang di Aceh. Namun, kebutuhan kentang Aceh belum dapat terpenuhi dari daerah tersebut karena disebabkan oleh harga beli kentang di daerah setempat yang murah sehingga petani cenderung menjual hasil panen ke luar daerah tanpa harus diolah terlebih dahulu.Kata Kunci: Budidaya, Kentang.
