Abstract

Menurut penelitian tahun 2014 oleh Silva et al., tumpahan minyak bumi (Oil Spill) merupakan salah satu dampak lingkungan yang serius dari kegiatan industri migas (petroleum industries). Salah satu upaya dalam mengelola tumpahan minyak tersebut yaitu dengan menggunakan bioremediasi berupa biosurfaktan. Kecamatan Cepu, Kabupaten Blora, Jawa Tengah telah menjadi tambang minyak bumi tradisional sejak tahun 1893. Dari tambang inilah banyak terjadi tumpahan minyak proses produksi. Penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu pengujian keefektifan biosurfaktan pada tanah tercemar Cepu dalam penurunan TPH, pH, dan logam berat. Metode yang dilakukan dengan cara mengaduk tanah tercemar dengan larutan osmosis murni, biosurfaktan, dan katalisator. Berdasarkan dari hasil pengujian, terjadi penurunan TPH dari 13,49% menjadi 9,39% dan penurunan tingkat keasaman dari 9,21 (basa) menjadi 7,16 (netral). Beberapa logam berat pada tanah mengalami penurunan namun beberapa pula justru mengalami peningkatan, seperti Ba dari kadar 249,6 ppm menjadi 302,9 ppm dan Se dari kadar 1,5 ppm menjadi 2,6 ppm. Sebaiknya dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan penambahan variabel kontrol seperti sifat fisik tanah, sehingga dapat dilakukan pengujian yang lebih optimal untuk sampel tanah tersebut.

Abstract

The Javan Gibbon is a primate species endemic to Java, Indonesia and considered as an endangered species (IUCN 2008). The Primate Research Center of Bogor Agricultural University (PRC-IPB) in cooperation with Taman Safari Indonesia have established an ex situ breeding facility for the Javan Gibbon to support conservation program. The breeding was started in 2003, and up to recently, the pair of Javan Gibbons ( 15 and 7 years old) has had three offspring, and still occupy one common cage. Assessment of the Javan Gibbon?s behavior in captivity especially to the family with five individuals was conducted using focal animal sampling to provide basic behavioral data.  Moving was the greatest frequency (45.70%) of each individual compared to other behaviors, while resting was the greatest duration that occurred to the parents, and playing was the greatest duration (18.02%) to the offspring respectively.    Keywords : behavior, javan gibbon, endangered, captive breeding

Abstract

Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA) disease is caused by EIA Virus (EIAV) from genus Lentivirus, subfamily Orthoretrovirinae, family retroviridae. This virus causes a persistent infection and potentially fatal in Equidae. There is no scientific literature yet for this disease in Indonesia. In order to determine this disease in our country, it is necessary continuing laboratory detection in imported Equidae and conducted further surveillance in Equidae throughout Indonesia. This research is aimed (1) to detect of any antibodi titre of EIAV in imported horse, (2) To get information about the relationship between laboratory result with the secondary datas of origin country. The EIAV antibody detected by indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (indirect ELISA). The secondary datas were collected from Health Certificate of origin country, World Animal Health Information System (WAHIS) Interface OIE and literatures. Total of 133 blood samples were collected from imported horse, ex-imported horse and lokal breed horse. The result showed that all of imported horse, ex-imported horse and lokal breed horse were negative antibody against EIAV. The initial information on Equine Infectious Anemia indicated that health requirement in imported horse has fulfilled, so that imported horse was free from EIAV.

Abstract

Cynomolgus macaques (Macaca fascicularis) are an established animal model of asthma, which exhibit different responses to allergen exposure that are clinically relevant. The chemokine ligand gene (CCL7) encodes Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-3, which has an important role in asthma pathogenesis. While CCL7 polymorphism in humans is associated with asthma phenotype, very little is known about CCL7 in nonhuman primate models of respiratory disease. The objective of this study was to isolate and characterize CCL7 gene in cynomolgus macaques of Indonesian origin. In this study, we used sequencing and bioinformatics technique for gene isolation, characterization, and protein 3D structure prediction. We isolated a 2253 base-pair (bp) sequence of CCL7 in cynomolgus macaques, which exhibited 95% similarity in coding sequence to human CCL7. The amino acid sequence was more closely clustered with human CCL7 than with that of rodents. Importantly, the predictive protein structure of CCL7 was similar to that in humans. These similarities in CCL7 suggests the potential of cynomolgus macaque as a translational model to study asthma, particularly in the context of genetics and role of chemokines such as CCL7.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memberdayakan kader PAUD/PKK dalam membangun kebersamaan kelompok melalui tindakan pelatihan karawitan berbasis lagu dolanan tradisional Jawa agar terjadi penguatan nilai-nilai kehidupan pada kader PAUD di Kelurahan Caturtunggal Kecamatan Depok Sleman. Subjek penelitian adalah kader PAUD/PKK sebanyak 35 orang, dengan pilihan metode penelitian  tindakan kelompok kader PAUD/PKK (participation action research). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tindakan pelatihan karawitan dapat menanamkan nilai-nilai kehidupan seperti kerjasama, disiplin, tanggungjawab, percaya diri, toleransi, saling berbagi pengalaman, saling menolong, dan saling menghargai satu sama lain.

Abstract

Perkembangan fisik motorik menjadi salah satu aspek penting bagi perkembangan anak usia dini. Seni geraktari pada anak usia dini merupakan salah satu upaya untuk merangsang perkembangan fisik motorik, khususnya motorik kasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan tari Aswa Tamtama untuk mengembangkan kemampuan motorik kasar. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 16 subyek anak TK kelompok B. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, Tari Aswa Tamtama telah berhasil dapat meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar khususnya kekuatan berupa melompat. Abstract

Aspek perkembangan bahasa merupakan salah satu aspek terpenting dalam tahap perkembangan anak. Kemampuan berbahasa bertujuan agar anak mampu mengungkapkan pikiran melalui bahasa yang sederhana secara tepat, mampu berkomunikasi secara efektif dan membangkitkan minat untuk dapat berbahasa Indonesia. Permainan yang dapat diterapkan untuk memperkaya kosakata anak salah satunya permainan ular tangga yang di desain khusus dan dibuat semenarik mungkin agar anak mudah dalam menambah kosakatanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 19 subyek dari anak-anak TK kelompok B. Permainan ular tangga selain mampu meningkatkan kosakata juga mampu meningkatkan keaktifan anak dalam kegiatan. Kata kunci: peningkatan, kosakata benda, permainan ular tangga

Abstract

The hypervariable region I of mitochondrial DNA has frequently been used to distinguish among populations, in particular in species with strong female philopatry. In such cases, populations are expected to diverge rapidly for hypervariable region I markers because of the smaller effective population size and thus increased genetic drift. This rapid divergence leads to the accumulation of mutations exclusively found in one population, which may serve as diagnostic single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). To date, diagnostic SNPs distinctive to Sumatran orangutan populations have not yet been described. However, given the continuously declining numbers of Sumatran orangutans, this information can be vital for effective conservation measures, especially regarding reintroductions of orangutans in rehabilitation centers. Phylogenetic analyses of 54 samples of Sumatran orangutans from nine sampling sites with good provenance, we found five major clades and a total of 20 haplotypes. We propose a total of 52 diagnostic SNPs that are specific to Sumatran orangutan populations. Data can be used to develop restriction fragment length polymorphism assays to carry out genetic assignments using basic laboratory equipment to assign Sumatran orangutan to their population of origin.

Abstract

Reservoir DI terletak di Lapangan Rantau yang telah berproduksi sejak 1930. Terhadap reservoir DI pernah dilakukan studi injeksi air menggunakan simulator black-oil IMEX tetapi hasilnya kurang baik. Dalam studi ini dilakukan simulasi injeksi kimia menggunakan simulator compositional STARS, untuk mengetahui seberapa besar injeksi kimia bisa meningkatkan recovery factor.Langkah-langkah dalam studi ini adalah: konversi model geologi dari simulator IMEX ke dalam simulator STARS, inisialisasi, history matching, dan PI matching sumur, dan prediksi dengan tiga skenario. Skenario I: injeksi air pada kompartemen A1, kompartemen B dan kompartemen C2. Skenario II: seperti Skenario I tetapi dilakukan penambahan polymer dengan beberapa harga pore volume (PV). Skenario III: seperti Skenario I tetapi dilakukan penambahan surfactant dengan beberapa harga PV.Analisis hasil prediksi menyimpulkan: 1) Skenario II, injeksi air ditambah dengan polymer sebesar 0,1 PV, laju injeksi 800 bbl/day dan tekanan injeksi 550 psia adalah skenario terbaik untuk kompartemen A1; 2) Skenario II, injeksi air ditambah dengan polymer 0,1 PV, laju injeksi 600 bbl/day dan tekanan injeksi 500 psia adalah skenario terbaik untuk kompartemen B; 3) Skenario III, injeksi air ditambah dengan surfactant sebesar 0,1 PV, laju injeksi 400 bbl/day dan tekanan injeksi 400 psia adalah skenario terbaik untuk kompartemen C2.Kata kunci: OOIP, recovery factor, injeksi air, injeksi kimia. AbstractReservoir DI located in Rantau Field that has been produced since 1930. There was water injection study using Black-Oil Simulator (IMEX) but the result was unsatisfied. Then, defining recovery factor improvement, the study is developed to chemical injection by using Compositional Simulator (STARS).The steps in this study are: the conversion of the geological model of simulator IMEX into the simulator STARS, initialization, history matching and PI matching of wells, and prediction with three scenarios. Scenario I: injection of water in the compartment A1, compartment B and compartment C2. Scenario II: Scenario I with addition of polymer in several pore volume prices (PV). Scenario III: Scenario I with addition of surfactant with several PV.The analysis predicted results concluded: 1) Scenario II, water injection plus polymer of 0.1 PV, injection rate of 800 bbl/day and injection pressure 550 psia is the best scenario for the compartment A1; 2) Scenario II, water injection plus 0.1 PV polymer, injection rate of 600 bbl/day and injection pressure 500 psia is the best scenario for the compartment B; 3) Scenario III, water injection plus 0.1 PV surfactant, injection rate of 400 bbl/day and an injection pressure of 400 psia is the best scenario for the compartment C2.  Keywords: OOIP, recovery factor, water injection, chemical injection.

Abstract

AbstractPermeability in petrophysical analysis is one of the physical properties of rocks that determination productivity, reservoir in place, and fluid distribution in the reservoir. In this study, calculation for permeability distribution using the equation of crossplot between porosity and permeability from routine coredidn’t representative for S Field. Hydraulic Flow Unit (HFU) methodused to gave more representative distribution of permeability in static model.The method of calculated HFU on the S Field is divided into several methods such as : calculated HFU of routine core data (HFU Core), calculated HFU of routine core data and added with permeability and porosity from well test (HFU Core + Perm. Well test), calculatedHFU of routine core data and combined with oil rate from well test (HFU Core + Qo test), and calculatedHFU of routine core data and combined with cumulative oil production from each well (HFU Core + Np). Permeability distribution from HFU Method gave higher values of permeability for S Field than from single transformation (crossplot). The effect of calculated permeability distribution in static reservoir model with HFU method can be seen from oil in place. HFU Core + Np have better permeability distribution than other calculations. It can be seen from a comparison of oil in place (reserves of oil in the reservoir) between the calculation HFU Core + Np with single transformation (crossplot). Oil in place in the static model from the calculation with HFU Core + Npis 58.57 MMSTB while the oil in place with crossplotpermeability and porosity of routine core data is 46.88 MMSTB.
