Abstract

Several methods for evaluating the effect of site specific condition of soil layers against earthquakes are presently available. Site Specific Analysis (SSA) and Horizontal-to-Vertical Spectral Ratio (HVSR) are two methods commonly used for estimating the amplification factor of soil layers above bedrock. SSA can be performed using subsurface shear wave velocities and dynamic soil properties (density, shear modulus and damping). The HVSR is a simple method for estimating the site amplification factor. Based on the time and budget requirement HVSR is more efficient and effective compare to SSA method.This paper presents result of SSA and HVSR methodscomparison for estimating the amplification factor of soil layers. Two boring locations and six single station seismometer tests were perform within Tembalang District Area.

Abstract

Pengembangan peta resiko gempa berdasarkan analisa hazard gempa deterministik (DSHA) merupakan salah satu tahapan yang sangat penting untuk mitigasi kegempaan Kota Semarang. Penelitian peta resiko gempa mencakup perhitungan hazard gempa, analisa kondisi tanah lokal (SSA) dan analisa tingkat resiko kegempaan. Analisa hazard gempa diimplementasikan dengan pendekatan deterministic akibat gempa untuk sumber gempa sesar aktif disekitar Kota Semarang. Parameter geoteknik diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan atau pengujian geoteknik. Hasil dari penelitian ini mencakup pengembangan peta spektra percepatan gerakan tanah di permukaan dan faktor amplifikasi percepatan tanah yang sangat diperlukan pada pengembangan peta rawan gempa Kota Semarang.[Perception Development of Seismic Risk Map Semarang City Through Deterministic Hazard Analysis Research] Development of seismic risk map based on Deterministic Hazard Analysis (DSHA) is an important step for seismic disaster mitigation for Semarang City. The study includes estimation of seismic hazard (DSHA), site specific response analysis (SSA) and risk assessment. Seismic hazard is performed based on deterministic approach considering shallow crustal fault sources influencing Semarang City. Geotechnical parameters are interpreted from previous geotechnical measurements. The result of the hazard analysis includes the distribution of site response spectral acceleration and amplification ratios are performed corresponding to seismic risk assessment for Semarang City.

Abstract

Tinggi rendahnya tingkat kembang dan susut tanah lempung ekspansif ditentukan oleh kandungan montmorillonite yang sering menimbulkan masalah pada bangunan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisa komposisi campuran soda api yang terbaik untuk memperbaiki sifat ekspansif tanah lempung. Penelitian ini menggunakan larutan soda api (NaOH) sebagai stabilisator dengan melalui  proses pemadatan Modified Proctor. Hasil terbaik diperoleh pada 25 x tumbukan, nilai dari indeks properties menunjukkan peningkatan, Uji UCS  menunjukkan penurunan, Uji CBR dengan perendaman 7 hari dengan campuran soda api 10% menunjukkan hasil yang terbaik, sedangkan nilai Tekanan Mengembang dan Potential Mengembang  mengalami penurunan yang signifikan.

Abstract

ABSTRAKS   Pengujian balok beton eksternal ini menguji tentang pemanfaatan tulangan eksternal sebagai pengganti tulangan pada beton. Pemasangan baja tulangan eksternal direncanakan bukan dari batang baja tulangan yang berpenampang lingkaran, melainkan baja lips channel yang memiliki lekatan, dan pengekangan pada balok beton. Lips channel sebagai perkuatan di tepi luar balok beton akan menggantikan baja tulangan beton yang tertanam di dalamnya, sehingga jarak antara titik berat lips channel di serat tarik (bawah) dan titik berat daerah tekan balok beton lebih besar. Material terluar beton yang memiliki nilai regangan yang lebih kecil dapat tergantikan dengan baja. Penggunaan tulangan eksternal baja lips channel pada balok beton yang menerima beban lentur sangat menarik diteliti, khususnya cara mengurangi bahkan meniadakan slip antara baja lips channel dan beton. Mutu beton rencana adalah f?c 45 MPa (K500) dengan panjang uji benda 180 cm, lebar 12,5 cm, tinggi 18,5 cm. Kata kunci : Baja Lips Channel, beton bertulang, Slip   ABSTRAKS   Testing of concrete beams externally tested on the use of external reinforcement in concrete reinforcement instead. Concrete outer material has a smaller strain values ??can be replaced with steel. The use of external reinforcement steel in concrete beams lips channel receiving bending loads very interesting study, particularly how to reduce and even negate the slip between the steel and the concrete channel lips. Abstract

To perform the necessary analysis of wave propagation subsurface soil data are complete and accurate. Data were obtained directly from the field geotechnical surveys and obtained from laboratory tests on soil samples taken from beneath the surface through bore hole. Dynamic soil properties determined indirectly from the results of static testing in the field, the Standard Penetration Test (SPT) and Cone Penetration Test (CPT). Several researchers have conducted studies and generate empirical correlation between shear wave velocity (vs) with SPT N-values and CPT cone resistance (qc) such as Imai (1977), Imai & Tenouchi (1982), Ohta & Goto (1978), and Sykora & Stokoe (1983). Using data from the soil investigation reports of 85 locations spread across the Semarang city, consisting of 156 boring point, 83 point manual CPT, and 96 points machine CPT. To determine the site class parameters using weighted average method of N and vs value for 30 meters topsoil profile. The results of this study become soil properties map ( QUOTE   and  QUOTE  ), and site-class map of Semarang city. Based on two (2) soil properties, soil classification in Semarang divided into two site-class, stiff soil (SD) and soft soil (SE). SE site-class commonly found in the north coast side of Semarang city, while soil SD site-class found in the south side of Semarang city.

Abstract

City One Hotel lies at Veteran road, Semarang city. This hotel is built at less large area so vehicle come in and sticking out floor basement becomes distress. This redesign change distance between columns from 6 meters become 8 meters, so vehicle comes in and sticking out floor basement become easier. Redesign of the Structure of City One Hotel is make parking area more wider. Parking area from first design only use 1st basement and 2nd basement, meanwhile result of redesign use 1st basement, 2and basement and 2bth basement. First design of City One Hotel used Double System with Intermediate Moment Resisting Frames (IMRF), meanwhile redesign use Double System with Special Moment Resisting Frames (SMRF) for it structure system. This redesign based SNI 1726-2012, and value of earthquake parameter response was download from website of Ministry of Public Work for Semarang City. In order to easier modelling and building structure analysis, redesign of City One Hotel are helped by SAP.2000 version 12 and CSI Col progam. The other differences between first design and redesign?s result is cross-sectional shape of the column and sectional area of the beam. First design use rectangular cross-sectional shape column, meanwhile redesign use square cross-sectional shape column. Benefit of square cross-sectional shape column is moment of inertia equally strong for both sides. The redesign?s beam sectional area is wider than before, this is because increased load on beams comparable with increasing distance between columns.

Abstract

SNI 1726- 2012 has been implemented and used as basic guidance for earthquake-resistant building design. This regulation replaced RSNI 1726- 2002 which is not suitable for Indonesia?s area that always undergoes earthquake. Siloam Hospitals Medan Building was designed by RSNI 1726- 2002. This journal describes the result of Siloam Hospitals Medan Building?s calculation by SNI 1726- 2012. Structural analysis of Siloam Hospitals Medan Building is calculated by SAP2000 software. The outputs are internal forces which are used to calculate the dimension of structure and bar which is needed. This structure uses the method of Special Moment Resisting Frame  which is expected that it has a high ductility due to its location where is in soft soil earthquake risk area.

Abstract

Design of the building structure was done in order to standing and strong receiving a load on it. Each one of the building structure with another building structure certainly have differences,  the differences include the strength of materials, use of materials, dimensions of the cross section, the calculation of the structure, work stage and so on. This difference is causes the strength of each structure is different, and also differences in cost of structure.Therefore, we would like to know differences of  strength and costs resulting from redesign of the Prasetiya Business School building by eliminating shearwall and open-frame method. Redesign on this structure using the method System Bearer Special Moment.

Abstract

Tanah merupakan dasar dari suatu struktur atau konstruksi, baik itu konstruksi bangunan maupun konstruksi jalan, yang sering menimbulkan masalah bila memiliki sifat-sifat yang buruk. Sifat-sifat tanah yang buruk dan kurang menguntungkan bila digunakan sebagai dasar suatu bangunan atau kontruksi, antara lain plastisitas yang tinggi, kekuatan geser yang rendah, kemampatan atau perubahan volume yang besar dan potensi kembang susut yang besar. Berbagai cara digunakan untuk memperbaiki kekuatan dari tanah lempung ekspansif, diantaranya dengan penambahan bahan kimia (stabilisasi secara kimiawi). Untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada pada tanah lempung eksapnsif maka diadakan penelitian dengan menggunakan soda api (NaOH) sebagai bahan stabilisasinya. Sampel tanah lempung ekspnasif diambil dari daerah Godong ? Purwodadi Km ± 49,Jawa Tengah. Komposisi campuran soda api (NaOH) sebesar 7,5 %.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahan stabilisasi soda api (NaOH) belum dapat memperbaiki sifat fisik dan mekanik tanah lempung ekspansif. Pada sifat fisik : berat volume, kadar air, berat jenis, dan batas-batas Atterberg mengalami kenaikan setelah distabilisasi.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan bangunan bertingkat tinggi di Indonesia saat ini telah menggunakan konsep struktur rangka kaku murni yang terdiri dari komponen utama struktur yakni balok dan kolom yang saling terhubung (terikat). Desain struktur gedung kantor Jasa Raharja menggunakan konsep Sistem Rangka Pemikul Momen Khusus (SRPMK), pemilihan konsep SRPMK dimaksudkan agar tidak akan terjadi kegagalan struktur pada saat gempa terjadi. Analisa struktur menggunakan program komputer SAP2000 untuk mendapatkan nilai dan arah gaya dalam yang digunakan dalam mendesain struktur tersebut. Standart ketentuan peraturan yang berlaku adalah ?SK SNI 03-2847-2002?. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa struktur gedung kantor Jasa Raharja aman dan mampu dipertanggungjawabkan secara analisis. Kata kunci: Balok, kolom, dan SRPMK ABSTRACT The development of high-rise building in Indonesian are currently using the concept of pure rigid frame structure consisting of a main component of the structural beam and column are connected (bound). Jasa Raharja?s office building structure design by using the concept of Special Moment Frame System (SMFS). Selection of SMFS concept intended to prevent structural failure would happen when an earthquake occurs. Frame structure analysis used SAP 2000 computer software to obtain the value and direction of the force that is used to design structure. Standard terms applicable regulation is "SK SNI03-2847-2002". The results of the analysis showed that the structure of Jasa Raharja?s office building is safe and able to be accounted by analysis. Keyword: Beam, column, and SMFS
