Abstract

Abstract: Polytechnic has characteristic which prioritizes the application of practical aspects supported by appropriate theory. Blended learning can be applied in Polytechnic, but a scheme is needed to formulate the correct instructional model. The study objectives were to examine the type of instructional model on blended learning that suits with Polytechnic. The research was conducted by qualitative descriptive approach by Miles and Huberman through observation, in-depth interview, Focus Group Discussion and literature review. The research validity was done by transferability, confirmability, credibility and dependability test. It can be concluded that the instructional model is appropriately determined by the suitability of educational model, technique and method of learning, and also facilities and infrastructure readiness. The instructional model on Blended Learning in Polytechnic is the Rotation Instructional Model. The study had implications on the learning process in Polytechnic. The lecturers could use the schema to determine the suit instructional model for their courses.Keywords: Instructional Model, Blended Learning, Polytechnic, Vocational Studi Model Instruksional pada Pembelajaran Kombinasi di PoliteknikAbstrak: Politeknik memiliki ciri khas pendidikan yang mengutamakan penerapan aspek-aspek praktis yang didukung oleh teori yang tepat. Blended learning dapat diterapkan di Politeknik, namun diperlukan sebuah skema untuk merumuskan instructional model yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengkaji jenis instructional model pada Blended Learning yang sesuai dengan karakteristik pendidikan Politeknik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif model Miles dan Huberman, teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, Focus Group Discussion dan kajian pustaka. Keabsahan data dengan uji transferability, confirmability, credibility dan dependability. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa instructional model yang tepat ditentukan dengan mempertimbangkan kesesuaian antara model pendidikan yang diselenggarakan, teknik dan metode pembelajaran mata kuliah, serta ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran. Sesuai dengan pertimbangan tersebut maka instructional model pada Blended Learning di Politeknik adalah Rotation Instructional Model. Implikasi penelitian terjadi pada proses pembelajaran di Politeknik. Para dosen dapat memanfaatkan instructional model skema untuk menentukan instructional model yang tepat untuk mata kuliah yang diampu.Kata Kunci: Instructional Model, Blended Learning, Politeknik, Vokasi

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to describe the style of language based on the directness of the meaning contained in the traditional pantun Jambi. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, with stilistika approach. The data in this study is the style of figurative language which is the scope of stylistic analysis. The data source in the research is the rhyme contained in the book "Principles of Traditional Shoot Jambi Nine Village Head Jilid III Customary Literature Jambi". The style of language based on the directness of the meaning found in the Jambi customary pantun is: (1) the rhetorical language style, which includes (a) the euphemismus or euphemism style, (b) the style of the asonance language, (c) the language style of pleonasme and tautology; ) the alliterational style of language, and (2) the figurative style of language which includes (a) the style of the metaphorical language, (b) the language style of personification, (c) the language style of the sinekdoke, (d) the language of irony. The conclusion of this research is the style of language based on the directness of the dominant meaning that is used is rhetorical style and figurative language style.   Keywords: style of language based on the directness of meaning, pantun Adat Jambi

Abstract

This study was designed to investigate the biochemical alteration in human caused by free radical accumulation due to air pollution. The policemen recruited were 60 country policemen consisting of 30 non smokers (group I) and 30 smokers (group II); 30 smoking policemen with administrative work in Jakarta (group III) and 30 smoking traffic policemen from Jakarta (group IV). Our results show that the plasma malondialdehyde (MDA) contents of groups I, II, III, IV, respectively were : 3.34 ± 0.81 umol/l; 4.28 ± 0.77 umol/l; 5.20 ± 0.66 umol/l and 5.12 ± 0.78 umol/l which were statistically different (p < 0.01) among each others, except between groups III and IV. The activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) of the groups respectively, were: 16.75 ± 9.80 U/mg protein; 22.83 ± 6.82 U/mg protein; 26.10 ± 8.50 U/mg protein and 26.90 ± 9.34 U/mg protein, which were statistically different (p < 0.05) between group I vs the other groups. The catalase activity of the groups respectively were : 106.25 ± 47.47 U/mg protein; 118.84 ± 42.73 U/mg protein; 119.83 ± 35.35 U/mg protein and 145.57 ± 61.85 U/mg protein. The statistical difference (p < 0.05) was found between group I & IV. Administration of vitamins C (500 mg) and E (300 mg) daily for 30 days to the policemen with high oxidant stress caused a decreased in the activities of SOD from 27.34 ± 10.05 U/mg protein to 16.91 ± 6.51 U/mg protein (p < 0.05) and catalase from 134.29 ± 53.28 U/mg protein to 67.07 ± 25.26 U/mg protein (p < 0.05). This study shows us that the oxidant status of city policemen was higher than that of rural policemen and that a combination of vitamins C & E could reduce the oxidant stress to a certain extent. Abstract

The study examined the factors affected teachers' Technology, Pedagogy and Content Knowledge (TPACK). Those factors are Technology Knowledge (TK), Pedagogy Knowledge (PK), Content Knowledge (CK) and Technology Pedagogy Knowledge (TPK). Curriculum 2013 has been applying for 5 years. However, an evaluation of how does the teacher deliver learning subjects (pedagogy knowledge), and the implementation of subject mastery (content knowledge) and technology mastery (technology knowledge) is strongly suggested. The study was quantitative with an associative method involving 200 teachers in Salatiga region as samples drawn with simple random sampling. The results of the study showed that PK has a positive effect on TPACK, while TK and CK do not have a positive effect on TPACK. Furthermore, TK, TPK, PK have positive effects on TPK, and TPK has a positive effect on TPACK. This study also suggested that age influences the development of technological knowledge and if one of the knowledge is not possessed by a teacher, the learning process will achieve maximum outcomes.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Pembelajaran tidak selalu diterima dengan baik oleh siswa. Mereka cenderung kurang memahami dengan apa yang sudah dijelaskan. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti mempunyai tujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar chest pass menggunakan media audiovisual dalam permainan bola basket. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus dengan 8 pertemuan. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa putri kelas VII F SMP Negeri 3 Kudus yang berjumlah 13 siswa. Data penelitian ini adalah data hasil belajar chest pass atas siswa, perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, refleksi, silabus, dan kurikulum yang diperoleh dari dokumen yang dimiliki guru dan sekolah. Data dikumpulkan melalui tehnik tes praktik, dan dokumentasi foto. Dari hasil analisa data diketahui bahwa, hasil belajar siswa sebelum diadakan tindakan dengan data awal nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 70,07. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata tes siswa mencapai rata-rata 71,15. Pada siklus II mencapai rata-rata 87,5. Ketuntasan klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 61,5% dan pada siklus II sebesar 92,30%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan media audiovisual dalam pembelajaran chest pass permainan bola basket pada siswa kelas VII F SMP Negeri 3 Kudus dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.     Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ On the basketball learning, still learning to use the actual ball. This research method is Classroom Action Research (Classroom Action Research). Classical mastery learning to be achieved in subjects penjas in SMK Negeri 8 Semarang is 85%. The average value of the class on the first cycle of the realm of affection reached 87.29% (excellent), cognitive reached 70.69% (excellent), psychomotor reached 75.18% (excellent), mastery learning klasikalnya reached 57.14%. In the second cycle of the realm of affection reached 92.57% (excellent), cognitive reached 86.07% (excellent), psychomotor reached 80% (good), mastery learning klasikalnya reached 85.71% (achieved). Improving student learning outcomes held after the first cycle (gain) of 0.4 with the criteria being, while the learning outcomes of students after the holding of the second cycle (gain) of 0.7 with the criteria being. Penjas for teachers to utilize this research are expected to observe field conditions that meet standards.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan sumbangan informasi dan sebagai evaluasi kepemerintahan dalam perekonomian di tahun 2004-2013.  Sektor pertanian merupakan penopang utama GDP negara berkembang yang berbasis tradisional pada umumnya. Karena bagaimanapun juga negara tersebut masih menganut pertanian subsistem. Dari pertanian subsistem ini kemudian bertransisi ke pertanian campuran dan diversifikasi. Yang selanjutnya akan beralih lagi ke spesialisasi pertanian komersial yang modern. Hal ini biasa disebut dengan transformasi. Hal ini terbukti dengan berubahnya fungsi lahan pertanian menjadi lahan industri. Akibatnya hasil pertanian mengalami penurunan, dan hasil industri mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan.Hal ini berimbas pada Gross Domestic Product Indonesia. Indonesia pada saat ini berada dalam keadaan dimana negara berkembang menuju negara maju. Dimana negara agraris menuju negara industri. Kontribusi sektor pertanian terhadap GDP indonesia memang tidak terlalu besar. Hanya 2,976 % terhadap GDP di 10 tahun terakhir. Hasil penelitian ini adalah tidak sesuainya dengan ekspektasi, dimana pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia pada kuartal pertama tahun 2014 melambat. Tercatat, ekonomi hanya tumbuh 5,21% (yoy) di kuartal pertama ini, padahal kuartal IV tahun 2013 naik 5,72% (yoy). Perlambatan ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor. Di sisi ekspor, tekanan terjadi terutama di sektor pertambangan seperti komoditas batu bara dan konsentrat mineral. Permintaan yang melemah, harga komoditas dunia yang turun, serta dampak kebijakan pelarangan ekspor mineral mentah adalah tiga hal yang menyebabkan hal tersebut. Selain itu, konsumsi pemerintah juga menurun sehingga turut berdampak terhadap perlambatan ekonomi. The next one will turn again to the specialization of modern commercial agriculture. this is commonly referred to as transformation. This is evidenced by the change in the function of agricultural land into industrial land. decreased as a result of agricultural and industrial products has increased significantly. This has an impact on the Gross Domestic Product of Indonesia. Indonesia at the moment are in a situation where developing countries towards developed countries. where industrial agricultural country to country. contribution of agriculture to GDP Indonesia is not too big. Only 2.976% of GDP in the last 10 years. The results of this study is the incompatibility with expectations, where Indonesias economic growth in the first quarter of 2014 slowed. Noted, the economy grew 5.21% (year-on-year) in the first quarter, whereas the fourth quarter of 2013 rose 5.72% (year-on-year). This slowdown is caused by several factors. On the export side, the pressure occurs mainly in sectors such as the mining of coal and mineral concentrates. Weakening demand, falling world commodity prices, and the impact of a ban on exports of raw minerals policies are three things that cause it. In addition, government consumption also declined, contributing to the impact of the economic slowdown. © 2014 Universitas Negeri Semarang

Abstract

The objective of this research is to obtain information concerning the effect of head masters supervision, organizational culture, and work motivation on teacher work discipline. The research was conducted in Kutai Kartanegara Regency. Approach used is quantitative research approach, with survey method apllied in the research which data have been analyzed by path analysis. In this research, teacher have been choosen as unit analysis 85 samples selected proporsional of 241 teachers as population. This research findings are follows: (1) there is direct positive effect of head masters supervision, organizational culture and work motivation on teacher work discipline, (2) there is direct positive effect of head masters supervision organizational culture on work motivation. Based on those findings it could be concluded that head masters supervision, organizational culture, and work motivation have been effected directly on teacher work discipline. Head masters supervision and organizational culture have been effected directly on work motivation. Therefore, head masters supervision, organizational culture, and work motivation should be put into consideration in increasing teacher work discipline at state SMA in the Kutai Kartanegara Regency.

Abstract

AbstrakKarsinoma nasofarings (KNF) merupakan keganasan yang paling sering ditemukan pada bagian kepala dan leher yang memerlukan kajian jelas dalam penegakkan diagnosis agar penatalaksanaan yang diberikan sesuai dan akurat. Salah satu kendala yang ditemukan pada KNF adalah diagnosis dini dan rekurensi. Narrow Band-Imaging adalah salah satu teknik pemeriksaan noninvasive dan mudah dilakukan, menggunakan teknik optikal terkini dan filter sinar biru dengan panjang gelombang tertentu, yang mampu meningkatkan sensitivitas pemeriksaan nasoendoskopi dengan pengamatan perubahan struktur vaskularisasi akibat pertumbuhan tumor terutama untuk KNF dengan sifat pertumbuhan endofitik. Pola-pola perubahan vaskularisasi yang ditimbulkan oleh KNF dapat diamati dengan jelas melalui pemeriksaan ini dan diharapkan juga mampu memberikan kepastian waktu bagi klinisi dalam menentukan saat yang tepat untuk melakukan tindakan lanjut yang lebih invasif seperti biopsi sehingga diperoleh hasil yang lebih akurat di saat yang tepat.Kata kunci: Narrow Band-Imaging, Karsinoma Nasofarings, Endoskopi AbstractNasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is the most common cancer in the otolaryngology, head and neck region, that needs an accurate examination for the management. An obstacle in management of NPC is the early diagnosis of the disease and recurrency. Narrow-band imaging, is a non-invasive diagnostic technique, which uses optical technique and special long wave blue filter, that will increase the sensitivity of the nasoendoscopy in the diagnosis of NPC by observing the changes in vascularisation, especially in exophitic growth. Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peran swadaya masyarakat dalam pembangunan di Desa Munggung, Kecamatan Karangdowo, Kabupaten Klaten. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang berupa studi kepustakaan & data primer yang berupa studi lapangan, observasi & wawancara. Penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif data yang diperoleh dari studi kepustakaan, lapangan, observasi, dan wawancara serta analisis kajian futuristik dalam upaya terciptanya perencanaan partisipatif yang baik dalam penyelenggaraan negara dan pemerintahan. Berdasarkan data dapat disimpulkan bahwa swadaya masyarakat dalam pembangunan sangat penting karena adanya swadaya berarti ada kesadaran, kepedulian, dan partisipasi untuk ikut serta membangun desanya sekaligus untuk menutupi kekurangan yang sedang dihadapinya, masyarakat yang kompak dalam berbagai kegiatan, partisipasi dan dukungan masyarakat disetiap kegiatan berlangsung dengan baik, adanya ikatan yang kuat antara masyarakat dan aparatur pemerintah desa dalam memutuskan sejumlah permasalahan di semua bidang, banyak masyarakat yang memiliki keahlian ganda sehingga dapat membantu segala aspek bidang, masyarakat memiliki solidaritas yang tinggi baik dalam kehidupan sosial, budaya, dan lainnya, dan memiliki sistem keamanan yang baik yang terdiri dari seluruh elemen masyarakat, sehingga tercapai suasana desa Munggung yang kondusif.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find the determinants of e-learning implementation by teachers of vocational school in the Yogyakarta Special Region. The research objective was achieved by describing the essential influence of social environment and facilitating conditions toward the technology acceptance model of e-learning. The study was a correlational research one with an ex-post facto approach. The number of research sample was 132 teachers and the research sample was determined by the Krejcie & Morgan formula. The research sample was distributed by means of proportional random sampling technique. The primary data source was the teachers’ self report which had been collected by using a questionnaire. The observation and the open-ended interviews were conducted in order to support the primary data. The content validity was assessed by means of expert judgment and the construct validity was calculated by means of Pearson correlation. The reliability was determined by means  of Cronbach's Alpha minimum value namely 0.70. The data analysis was performed by  using path analysis at a significance level of 0.05. The study concluded that the effect of social environment and facilitating conditions to the e-learning usage had been mediated by three main variables of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), namely perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and intention to use.Keywords: E-learning, technology acceptance model, social environment, facilitating conditions. DETERMINAN PENGGUNAAN E-LEARNING OLEH GURU SMK DI DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTAAbstrakStudi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor determinan penggunaan e-learning oleh guru SMK di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Tujuan ini dicapai dengan cara menjelaskan hakikat pengaruh lingkungan sosial sekolah dan kondisi fasilitas teknologi terhadap model penerimaan teknologi e-learning. Studi ini merupakan penelitian korelasional bersifat ex-post facto. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 132 guru ditentukan menggunakan formula Krejcie & Morgan didistribusikan dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Sumber data primer adalah laporan diri guru, dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner. Observasi dan wawancara terbuka dilakukan sebagai pendukung data primer. Validasi isi dilakukan dengan expert judgment  dan validasi konstruk dilakukan dengan korelasi Pearson. Reliabilitas ditentukan dengan dengan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha minimal 0,70. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis jalur pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil studi menunjukkan pengaruh lingkungan sosial dan kondisi yang memfasilitasi terhadap penggunaan e-learning dimediasi oleh tiga variabel utama model penerimaan teknologi, yaitu kegunaan, kemudahan penggunaan, dan intensi.Kata kunci: e-learning, model penerimaan teknologi, lingkungan sosial, kondisi yang memfasilitas
