Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan perangkat  bahan ajar yang mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran matadiklat Pengetahuan Dasar Teknik Bangunan (PDTB) dengan menggunakan strategi pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan mixing methods melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: penelitian ini telah menghasilkan bahan ajar matadiklat Pengetahuan Dasar Teknik Bangunann (PDTB), untuk siswa SMK kelas XI. Bahan ajar ini terdiri dari  bahan ajar untuk pegangan guru, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan bahan ajar pegangan siswa.

Abstract

Abstrak:Perkembangan teknologi informasi berlangsung sangat cepat, dan berdampak pada semua aspek kehidupan termasuk pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi. Oleh karena itu, LPTK sebagai lembaga pendidikan bagi calon guru harus selalu berinovasi dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran sejalan dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi. Perguruan tinggi perlu mengantisipasi permasalahan tersebut, agar kualitas pembelajaran meningkat. Salah satu metode yang tepat untuk memecahkan masalah tersebut adalah dengan mengembangkan pembelajaran menggunakan strategi belajar tuntas (mastery learning) berbasis multimedia. Beberapa kajian teoritik dan empiris menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi belajar tuntas dalam pembelajaran, telah terbukti mampu mengembangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah tingkat tinggi mahasiswa. Guna mempermudah memahami konsep-konsep pembelajaran yang bersifat rumit dan abstrak dilakukan melalui multimedia. Penggunaan multimedia dapat mempermudah mahasiswa untuk memahami konsep-konsep maupun teori yang bersifat abstrak. Penyajian isi pembelajaran melalui multimedia dapat memperjelas dan mengkongkritkan konsep-konsep sains, sehingga mudah dipahami oleh mahasiswa.Kata-kata kunci: belajar tuntas, ,multimedia, kualias pembelajaran.Abstract: The development of information technology takes place very quickly, and impact on all aspects of life including learning in college. Therefore, LPTK as an educational institution for prospective teachers should always innovate and improve the quality of learning in line with the development of information technology. Universities need to anticipate these problems, so that the quality of learning increases. One of the right methods to solve the problem is by developing learning using multimedia based learning strategy (mastery learning). Several theoretical and empirical studies have shown that the application of a complete learning strategy in learning has proven capable of developing students? high-profile problem-solving abilities. In order to make it easier to understand the concepts of learning that are complex and abstract done through multimedia. The use of multimedia can make it easier for students to understand abstract concepts and theories. Abstract

Abstract: The Floor Tile Design Made of Coconut Log and Shell. The research for local building materials is demanded for supporting regional potentials improvement. This research is aimed to investigate the design and quality of floor tile made of laminated coconut log and shell as floor and wall materials for housing. This design research uses structural-functional approaches, prototype manufacturing, and its testing. The result shows that (1) the log and shell of coconut can be used as floor tiling materials with specification as follows: 200 mm of length, 200 mm of width, 20 mm of depth, 550 grams of weight, brown color, and used as interior finishing for both floor and wall; (2) generally, the quality of shell layer fulfills technical requirements, except its load-strength test; and (3) for using as floor tile, the shell has good density and surface quality, but different in color and pattern.

Abstract

Luas lantai bengunan rumah tinggal type 21 yang hanya 21 m2 tentu tidak layak untuk dihuni oleh suatu keluarga. Agar layak untuk dihuni, maka penghuni harus mengembangkan rumah induk sesuai dengan luas sisa tanah yang tersedia serta kemampuan ekonomi penghuninya. Pengembangan rumah yang dilakukan oleh penghuni sendiri, cenderung tidak memperhatikan faktor-faktor teknik maupun faktor-faktor arsitektur. Akibatnya pengembangan rumah sering tidak sesuai dengan kaidah-kaidah keteknikan dan kearsitekturan. Pengembangan rumah yang seperti ini, tidak menutup kemungkinan akan mengakibatkan sick biulding syndrome, yaitu reaksi penghuni bangunan terhadap akumulasi debu, uap, gas, fungi, bakteri, dan pencemar-pencemar lain yang terperangkap dalam bangunan. Guna menghindari sick building syndrome ini, maka dalam pengembangan rumah harus diperhatikan faktor penataan ruang, sirkulasi udara, dan pencahayaan alami.

Abstract

It has been successfully designed high temperatur furnace using Silicon Carbide (SiC) as an electric furnace source which can be controlled by ATMEGA 8535. The result of thermocouple test with standard measuring device as calibrator in temperatur range 50 ° C - 500 ° C can work well, that have been indicated by the characteristics The temperatur in the thermocouple to the ADC (Analog to Digital Converter) value in the microcontroller is Y (ADC) = 2.0062 T + 4.6. In testing of the entire furnace system for various input voltages it can be shown that the higher operating voltage will increase the heating rate in the combustion chamber. In the design using 4 sources of heating SiC with the volume of combustion chamber 1.2 liters indicates the spread of heat is quite evenly and effectively.Keywords: Furnace, AVR ATMEGA 8535 Microcontroller, Silicon Carbide

Abstract

Cationic interaction of Mn+2and Ti +4substitution on conventional hexaferriteBaFe O have been studied using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and  analysis by the Rietveld method. These Research was conducted by combining compound of Fe O12 19 TiO2 to form  (Fe,MnTi)2O  phase3BaCO3 phase and heated at 1200. Then, Compound of (Fe,MnTi)0 C to form of BaFe12-2xresult of rietveld analysisshowed that the composition of Hexaferrite BaFe22 3, MnCO  and3O  phase mixed withMn Ti O3x x 19 compounds. The  as main phase and Fe2Oas a second phase. At all compositions showed that the largerfraction of ions Mn+23  and Ti+4 ions able to change latice parameter from  the volume unitcell of conventional hexaferrite. The results reatveld iteration of the phaseBaFe MnTiO (x = 1.0) obtained values of lattice parameters a = 5.9116 ? and c =23.2532 ? or shrinkage abaut 5,0 % volume unit cell and at  BaFe Mn Ti O10 19 (x=2.5)the volume unit cell 7,0% lower  than conventional hexaferrite.Keywords: Rietveld, unit cell, substitusi io,  hexaferrite, 12-2x7 2.5 2.5 19Mn Ti Ox x 19

Abstract

Bali cattle is one of the Indonesian germplasm that well adapted to suboptimal areas including East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Difficulties in accessing capital became one of the factors that hamper effort the development of Bali cattle in larger scale. One alternative to access capital is through partnership model of Bali cattle fattening based on local resources. Partnership model of Bali cattle fattening was intiated by village cooperative centre (pusat koperasi unit desa =PUSKUD) since 2002 in Kupang District, South Central Timor District, North Central Timor District, and Belu District. Profit sharing in this program is 70% for farmers and 30% for PUSKUD NTT. The partnership program has been performing well and growing rapidly. On the other hand, some problems occurred such as cattle death and forced sale due to lack of feed, especially during dry season. In its development, the partnership model has resulted in empowering farmers through increasing income and employment.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan aplikasi Web GIS untuk membantu proses pengambilan keputusan dalam penanggulangan bencana banjir lahar terutama pada tahap tanggap darurat dan pemulihan dari dampak bencana pada infrastruktur di Kabupaten Sleman. Kuesioner dan wawancara semi-terstruktur yang digunakan untuk menginventarisir kebutuhan sistem, ketersediaan data, prosedur kolaborasi, dan evaluasi dari prototype aplikasi yangtelah dibuat. Aplikasi yang telah dibangun dilengkapi dengan analisis spasial khusus untuk pemilihan lokasi hunian sementara, dan beberapa alat untuk memilih prioritas pada perbaikan infrastruktur menggonakan hexagonal grid model. Hasil evaluasi dari prototype menunjukan bahwa hampir semua responden memberikan penilaian yang baik untuk sistem. 80% dari mereka setuju bahwa aplikasi ini akan sangat berguna. Namun, beberapa saran dan masukan perlu diakomodasi untuk membuat sistem sepenuhnya diimplementasikan dan user friendly.Kata kunci : lahar, manajemen bencana, Web GIS, dan MCDA

Abstract

Learning Gifted and Talented (Gifted and Talented) at Muhammadiyah Elementary School Special Program. Special Education Studies Program, Department of Science Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Surakarta Eleven March. The purpose of this study is to know the implementation of teaching gifted children in elementary school in Surakarta Muhammadiyah Special Programs. Subjects were all students 5 th grade Special Programs Surakarta Muhammadiyah school year 2009/2010. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used by triangulation by performing kros - check on the results of observation, interviews and documentation with an interactive model. The study concluded that: (1) the implementation of teaching in primary schools together with the Special Programme Muhammadiyah elementary school in general, (2) There are significant differences in the way of learning that can be seen from the existence of extra time, materials, learning resources which are many, varied learning methods, and the teacher field of study, (3) The emphasis of service delivery enrichment, acceleration and grouping.

Abstract

Metamaterial represent the material with negative value of permitivity ( ) and permeability ( ). Artificial metamaterial can be realized with periodic structure of wire for the negative relative permittivity ( ), and Split Ring Resonator (SRR) for the negative relative permeability ( ). This research represent the theoretical study about the dimension effect of SRR to active frequency of electromagnetic wave ( ) at artificial metamaterial. Plasmon resonances in SRR due to the interaction with the electromagnetic waves used to determine  in order to obtain the equation in the form of frequency. From these equations graphically simulated between  to the  at various dimension size of SRR, so can be knowable about the dimension effect of SRR to active frequency of metamaterial. At periodic structure of SRR, if the distance apart of SRR ( ) increase hence top boundary of active frequency (magnetic plasma frequency, ) decrease, and  bottom boundary of active frequency (SRR resonance frequency, ) do not change.
