Abstract

There are many evidences to show that there?s been a perspective movement about attitude, activity,gender role differences between men and women that affect another movement in the work field for bothmen and women. Women can be found work as a driver, labor, sailor, lawyer and many more. On theother side, men are also can be found work as designer, stylist, capster, dancer, and many more. Thedemand inside herself make women who work in masculine work field feels uncomfortable because it?snot something that usual for her stereotype work field. The aim of this study is to know the descriptionabout the adaptation, its processes, and factors influencing the women?s adaptation who work inmasculine work field with qualitative method. Participant of this study is a women who work as splitstone in Ciapus river, Bogor. The result shows participant has a good adaptation that can be seen in heradaptation aspects and characteristics.Key words: adaptation, working women, masculine work field

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the administration staff position in PT XX. Staff administration is one of the most crucial position in PT XX. Method use in this research are self-repport, interview and observation, dan document analysis. The participants of this research are six persons whose position in PT XX as an finance and administration supervisor, and the rest five persons are administration staffs. The result shows the overlapping job description and responsibility between the staffs. Beside this finding, there should be different job description between the position even though it is in the same level. Keywords: Job analysis, Job description, Job characteristics

Abstract

Employability skills as non technical skills are important for effective and successful individual participation in the workplace. The main aims of the research were to identify important employability skills needed by graduates of Public Health Study Program Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (PHSP UAD) and to assess the achievement of the employability skills development that has been carried out by PHSP UAD. This study used a mixed method research with convergent design. Quantitative research was conducted with survey to graduates. Qualitative research was conducted with structured interviews to employers. Both data were analyzed separately and interpreted concurrently. Graduates and employers of PHSP UAD in broad outline were in line on the important employability skills needed in the workplace and the assessment of the achievement. Several employability skills consistently were considered important. The achievement of employability skills that were related to public health knowledge and its application was high, meanwhile the achievement of several important employability skills which are needed in the work place in the 21st were low. Employability skills needed for graduates of PHSP UAD were formulated. Curriculum revision is recommended to integrate employability skills into core activities to promote the development of employability skills of PHSP UAD graduates.

Abstract

Untuk mahasiswa yang kuliah sambil bekerja, pecahnya konsentrasi antara bekerja dengan kuliah dapat berujung pada prokrastinasi akademik. Beberapa riset memperlihatkan hubungan antara self-regulated learning dan prokrastinasi akademik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah hendak mengukur pengaruh self-regulated learning dan prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa yang bekerja. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang kuliah sambil bekerja sebanyak 121 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-regulated learning memiliki pengaruh yang cukup besar terhadap prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa yang bekerja.

Abstract

Tenaga kefarmasian mempunyai peranan penting karena terkait langsung dengan pelayanan kesehatan bagi masyarakat khususnya pelayanan kefarmasian. Agar pelayanan kefarmasian dapat mencapai kinerja yang optimal maka perlu adanya kepuasan kerja dan yang dapat mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja adalah work engagement karena ketika individu terlibat dengan pekerjaan, individu akan merasa antusias terhadap pekerjaan, berkomitmen dan termotivasi dengan pekerjaan sehingga dapat mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk menguji kontribusi work engagement terhadap kepuasan kerja pada karyawan pelayanan kefarmasian dengan menggunakan uji regresi sederhana. Jumlah sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 69 responden dengan mengunakan teknik sampling purposive. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara work engagement terhadap kepuasan kerja pada pelayanan kefarmasian. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa diperoleh nilai F sebesar 10.055 dengan taraf signifikan 0.002 (p < .01) dan nilai R Square sebesar 0.130. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa work engagement mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja sebesar 13%, di mana sisanya sebesar 87% merupakan faktor lain yang mempengaruhi variabel di luar penelitian.

Abstract

Being physically active is reducing the risk of non-communicable diseases. A cross sectional mixed method study was conducted to analyze health status and explore supporting and inhibiting factors of physical activity among academic and non academic staff in higher education. A total of 83 respondents were met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The majority of UAD staffs are physically active and overweight. No significant health problems are found. Individual, social and environmental factors are identified as factors that can support and inhibit physical activity. Policies at the Faculty and University level are needed as well as cross-sectoral collaboration with related parties to support physical activities in UAD.

Abstract

Memahami konsep penentuan margin pada akad murabahah diBank Muamalat Indonesia merupakan tujuan dari penelitian ini. Metodepenelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatanstudi kasus. Penggalian informasi mengenai margin akad murabahahdiperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dengankaryawan Bank Muamalat Indonesia Cabang Malang. Komponen-komponen penentu margin murabahah pada Bank Muamalat ini adalahCoF, overhead cost, cadangan resiko kredit macet serta spread margin.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Bank Muamalat Indonesiamenetapkan margin murabahah sama dengan suku bunga kredit yangberlaku di bank konvensional.Kata Kunci: margin, murabahah, bank syariah

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the factors that influence the intention ofstudents to pursue qualification as professional accountants. These factors consist of salary, opportunities for advancement, prestige or social status, job security and stability, and grit personality. The respondents in this study areundergraduate accounting students of Brawijaya University, Malang StateUniversity, and Maulana Malik Ibrahim Islamic State University in 2015. Datafrom 245 students were collected by the survey method by distributing an online questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using the SmartPLS 3.2.7application. The results proved that salary, job security and stability, and gritpersonality affected the intention of students to pursue qualification asprofessional accountants. Meanwhile, opportunities for advancement and prestige or social status did not affect the intention of students to pursue qualification as professional accountants. The implication of this study is that the Accounting Department of various universities can find out what factors can encourage the intention of accounting students to pursue qualification professional, in order to increase the number of professional accountants in Indonesia.Keywords: salary, opportunities for advancement, prestige or social status, job security and stability, grit personality, professional accountantqualification, professional accountants
