Abstract

Abstrak Pada ilmu pengetahuan sosial kajian persoalan-persoalan kehidupan sosial kemasyarakatan yang bersifat praktis sangat berguna bagi siswa sekolah dasar untuk hidup dan kehidupannya masa kini dan masa yang akan datang. Dengan harapan siswa ini nantinya dapat menyadari dan memahami bahwa dia tidak hidup sendirian, tetapi hidup di lingkungan yang luas, jika ingin hidup yang layak. Masalah berikutnya terkait dengan pemilihan dan pendekatan pembelajaran, yang belum banyak menimbulkan keaktifan dan kreatifitas siswa. Hal ini karena masih sering menggunakan pendekatan konvensional, yang pembelajaranya terpusat pada guru, sehingga siswanya menjadi pasif. Jika pembelajarannya dapat mengaktifkan siswa, maka akan menarik dan materi yang banyak tadi bisa secara cepat diserap oleh siswa. Karena mereka antuas, mau belajar dengan sungguh-sungguh. Berangkat dari masalah di atas maka kami tertarik untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran kontekstual yang dipandang dapat membantu siswa aktif dalam kegiatan belajar dan mengajar. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pemebelajaran kontekstual terhadap prestasi belajar llmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh minat belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar llmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh pembelajaran kontekstual dan minat belajar siswa secara secara simulltan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas IV SDN lumbang I Kecamatan Lumbang Kabupaten Pasuruan tahun pelajaran 2016-2017.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif yang berlandaskan pada filsafat positivisme, digunakan untuk meneliti pada populasi atau sampel tertentu, pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian, analisis data bersifat kuantitatif/statistik, dengan tujuan untuk menguji hipotesis yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh pembelajaran kontekstual dan minat belajar siswa secara simultan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas IV SDN lumbang I Kecamatan Lumbang Kabupaten Pasuruan. Persepsi siswa tentang model pembelajaran kontekstual mempunyai sumbangan yang efektif lebih besar daripada minat belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS terpadu meskipun belum secara maksimal sepenuhnya. In social science study of the problems of social life that is practically very useful for school students basis for life and the life of the present and the future. With hope these students will be able to realize and understand that she does not live alone, but living in a spacious environment, if you want a decent life. The next issue related to the selection and learning approach, which has not generated a lot of activity and creativity of students. This is because they often use the conventional approach, which pembelajaranya centered on the teacher, so that students become passive. If learning can enable students, it will be interesting and a lot of material that had to be quickly absorbed by the students. Because they antuas, willing to learn in earnest. Departing from the above problems then we are interested to apply contextual learning model which is seen to help students actively in learning and teaching activities. The purpose of this study was to determine how the contextual pemebelajaran influence on the learning achievement of Social Sciences. To determine the influence of student interest towards learning achievement of Social Sciences. To determine the influence of contextual learning and students learning interest in simulltan on student achievement grade IV SDN I Sub Lumbang Lumbang Pasuruan in the academic year 2016-2017. The method used in this research is a quantitative method that is based on the philosophy of positivism, is used to examine the population or a particular sample, data collection using research instruments, quantitative data analysis / statistics, with the aim to test the hypothesis that has been set. The results showed the influence of contextual learning and student interest simultaneously on student achievement grade IV SDN I Sub Lumbang Lumbang Pasuruan. Students perceptions about contextual learning model has an effective contribution is greater than the interest of student learning to the student achievement in social studies though not optimally integrated fully. Abstract

The world demand of raw-silk provides a great opportunity to the development of raw-silk production in Yogyakarta. Recently, only 21% of the overall world demand of raw-silk is fulfilled, whereas Indonesia contributes only 0.1% per year. The main problem is the lack of quality of raw-silk. The optimum growth of silkworm depends on micro environments, i.e. temperature, humidity, aeration, and light intensity. The research aimed at designing an automated “on/off” control technology in the silkworm rearing environmental monitoring in the farming system, while the expected result was high-grade quality of cocoon. In the research, two different conditions of silkworm growing environments were compared, i.e. controlled environment (in the rearing box) and uncontrolled environment. The result indicated that there was increase in  the quality of cocoon. Test of cocoons in laboratory showed that the average thickness of cocoons in controlled rearing environment and in rearing environment was 0.033 cm and 0.029 cm, respectively. The percentage of cocoons in controlled rearing environment was higher than cocoons in normal environment.

Abstract

The real data support the “seriousness” of the serious game and give more authentic situations, which can make players feel immersed in scenarios, and gain a real experience. Therefore, the modeler must be able to recognize whether a model reflects reality to identify and deal with divergences between theory and data. In this paper, we present a model for design a basis of immersive in serious games. The studied case is the tillage using a moldboard plow, by taking real data through an experiment use a device called soil bin. It aims to determine the effect of angle, depth, and speed on the soil porosity; by comparing the value of the smallest error using the polynomial function of the use of different orders. The result of an average smallest error with the polynomial approach is 1.10E-07 in the 3rd order, closer to the experimental value. Therefore, the model can be used for designing immersive serious game.

Abstract

Abstrak Patingtung art is one of the arts in Banten, this art is usually held at the time of harvesting rice. At present Patingtung art is very rare and no one even uses it anymore. Patingtung art as one of the cultural riches that is almost extinct requires a way for the art to be known by the public. The tools used in this art have rarely been found and expertise in vocal fields is difficult to find. To solve this problem in this study a simulation of multimedia-based patingtung art tools was made so that this art could be recognized by the public.

Abstract

Every year, palm-oil production is increasing. Each ton of fresh fruit bunches produced up to 22%?23% of oil palm empty fruit bunches (OPEFB). Based on the laboratory test, OPEFB contains 69.72% volatiles and 3353.97 kcal/kg of calor. The aim of this research was to determine the size material of OPEFB in gasification process, to determine the combination of AFR (Air Fuel Ratio) in the cyclone type gasifier so that optimal energy is produced, and to predict the gasification process using a CFD method (Computational Fluid Dynamic). The powder cyclone type gasifier method was used to convert this into renewable energy. The research method consisted of using OPEFB powder material with 14, 30 and 50 mesh treatment, 4 air-fuel ratio, and material mass rate treatments, and variations of the middle-pipe length treatment. The weight of each sample is 500 g, added with 100 g of charcoal and repeated 3 times. The results showed that the A3 mesh had the highest temperature at 348.23 °C, 1008.68 kcal/kg of heat value, 30.07% of efficiency, 97.81 kg/kg of AFR value, but had the lowest engine working capacity (EWC) with 14.65 kg/hour. Based on the sensor test, A3 treatment?s voltage of monoxide sensor output was 1.45 mV; 1.81 mV of hydrogen; and methane at 0.66 mV. In the combination of air speed and screw rotational treatment, AFR values were generated by B4 treatment with an EWC value of 20 kg/hour and AFR of 97.1 kg/kg. The highest gas monoxide sensor results in B4 treatment was 1.58 mV; hydrogen 1.98 mV. Based on the length of the entrance pipe in the reactor, C1 treatment produced an optimal value of the EWC value at 16.6 kg/hour, the heat energy value was 997 kcal/kg, the efficiency value was 29.73% and the AFR value was 82,87 kg/kg. In C1 treatment, the monoxide gas sensor voltage was 1.6 mV; and methane was 1.46 mV. The CFD simulation showed that the temperature distribution, fluid velocity and pressure in the middle iteration had a significant increase. This can be influenced by the dimensions of cyclone type powder gasifier with a CFD simulation.

Abstract

Indonesian farmers used to utilize crank to turn on hand tractor machine till today. It may make operators weariness and potentially raised work accident. The purpose of this study was to design a portable electric starter for hand tractor machine. Moreover, the study was addressed to evaluate the performance of the design. The minimum rotational speed (n) and initial torque (T) in decompression and non decompression conditions were adopted to calculate the minimum power (P) requirement. The minumum power of decompression and non decompression were 572.78 watts (? 0.74 hp) and 841.75 watts (? 1.09 hp), respectively. These values used as a reference in determining the main components, namely the wet type 12 volt battery and the serial type direct current starter motor. The next step, set up additional components, transmission mechanism, as well as concept of portable electric starter. The design was realized by construction and assembly process. A performance test was carried out on the prototype. The performance test of non decompression showed 1.88 seconds for working time, 264.56 Joules for workload (operator), 363.20 rpm for rotating speed and 0.68 watt hours for power requirement. Overall, application portable electric starter indicated better performance than crank. This study proved a high preference of operator on application of portable electric starter in decompression conditions.
