Abstract

This research aimed to describe the development of public relations and protocol office administration teaching material based on the 2013 curriculum in Vocational School (thereafter called SMK). This study was a Research & Development (R & D) using Borg & Gall?s model. This research involved Public Vocational School with Office Administration Specialty in Ex-Surakarta Residency area. Technique of collecting data used was interview with informants related to Office Administration teaching material. Meanwhile for the trial, technique of collecting data used was questionnaire survey distributed to teachers and students. The effectiveness of data collection was tested using test. Technique of analyzing data used was mix method, the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The result of analysis using 2-way anava obtained Fstatistic­ value of 0.829 in Vocational School with probability (sig.) value of 0.438.  F test results are seen in the anova table in the sig column. Experiment group had an improvement of learning outcome better than the control one with the mean increase of 4.5 while control group had mean score of 2.3. Thus, it could be concluded that public relations and protocol teaching material based on the 2013 curriculum was feasible to use in Vocational School (SMK).

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1). Untuk mengetahui strategi humas dalam meningkatkan reputasi sekolah. (2). Untuk mengetahui persepsi stakeholders (alumni sekolah dan orang tua murid) terhadap strategi humas dalam meningkatkan reputasi sekolah (3). Untuk mengetahui hambatan humas (4). Untuk mengetahui solusi yang digunakan humas. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi kasus dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dan snow ball sampling. Metode pengumpulan data adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik anali--sis data dengan analisis data model interaktif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, bahwa reputasi sekolah telah sesuai dengan visi sekolah. Meskipun ada dinamika yang mempengaruhi keadaan sekolah. Namun fluktuasi tersebut tidak berlangsung lama. Adanya kepercayaan dan kebanggaan stakeholders terhadap SMA Negeri 1 Surakarta. Membuktikan bahwa sekolah berada pada level yang memuaskan. Namun sarana prasarana, terdapat saran untuk meningkatkan sarana dan prasarana. Pihak sekolah yang diwakili oleh wakasek humas menyikapi saran dan kritik melalui peningkatan prestasi sekolah dengan pembinaan intensif serta peningkatkan sarana prasarana sesuai prioritas. Hambatan yang tidak berkaitan dengan sarana prasarana dari intern dan ekstern disikapi dengan bijak sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku. Kata kunci : Strategi, humas, reputasi, sekolah. ABSTRACT The aim of the research are (1). To investigate the strategy of public relations in aim increasing of the school reputation. (2). To find out the stakeholders perception (the school graduates and the parent of the student) about the strategy of public relations in improving the school reputation. (3). To investigate the public relations obstruction. (4). To know the efforts made in by the public relations. This research is qualitative research with descriptive approach and embedded case strategy and The sampling technique used Purposive Sampling and Snow Ball Sampling. The method to collected data used interview, observation, and documentation. While analyze used interactive model data analyze. Based on the finding, shows that the school reputation is suitable with the school vision. Although there are occasion that can influence the situation. But the fluctuation is not longer enough. Because the huge trust and proud the stakeholders toward the SMA Negeri 1 Surakarta. It prove that the school reputation on the satisfasion level. The infrastructure must be upgrade. The school representative, the deputy of public relations take an action to handle the opinion by improving the achievement with the intensive management and increasing the infrastructure by priority. The other obstruction handle by wisely according to the rules. Key word: Strategy, public relations, reputation, school.

Abstract

The development of information technology in recent years has led to various types of information media platforms, including websites and social media. The use of mobile devices has also become a digital trend to access the internet, because this device can be taken anywhere and can be accessed the internet anytime we want. With the presence of technological developments can increase digital literacy in the community. Digital literacy in question is the ability of people to understand and use information from various digital sources. Through this article, the author wants to provide a general description of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia in innovating media convergence in the digital age. The results of this study found the fact that in adapting to the era of digital literacy, the KLI Bureau decided to create a new digital media using the Visual Communication approach for its content using a microsite platform to implement digital convergence media publishing strategies, and named Visual Kemenkeu (VK).

Abstract

Partisipasi publik dengan menggunakan media sosial semakin populer di era pemerintahan terbuka yang menekankan transparansi dan keterlibatan publik. Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Bojonegoro menggunakan Facebook guna memberikan informasi kepada publik dan menyediakan ruang partisipasi bagi masyarakat. Walaupun demikian, penggunaan Facebook oleh pemerintah masih tergolong baru. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mendeskripsikan Facebook sebagai ruang bagi partisipasi publik, yang ditelaah dari bentuk komunikasi serta jenis partisipasi publik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara dengan sejumlah pegawai Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Bojonegoro dan mengamati konten akun Facebook Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa bentuk komunikasi yang terjadi antara masyarakat dengan Dinas Perhubungan Kabupaten Bojonegoro adalah komunikasi dua arah dengan memanfaatkan unggahan dan komentar di Facebook. Bentuk ini mendukung terjadinya partisipasi publik yang bersifat konsultatif. Adapun jenis partisipasi publik yang ada di dalam unggahan dan komentar Facebook berbentuk dukungan, saran, kritik, keluhan, laporan, dan berbagi pengetahuan

Abstract

The second largest foreign exchange earner from the tourism sector. The tourism sector in Indonesia grown by 25.68% in recent years. Very much different from the growth of the tourism industry in Southeast Asia that only 7%, as well as the growth of the world tourism industry which is only 6%. Opportunities in the tourism sector are quite prospective, in addition to being one of the producers of economic growth, the tourism sector is expected to encourage the growth of other sectors, such as the plantation, agriculture, trade, industry and others. This study was analyzed using structuration theory that aims to find out how the communication made by agents in the development of Pulesari Tourism Village, Turi District, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Research data obtained from field observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study explain how the structuring process that takes place through the rural tourism program can improve the village economy, and have an impact on increasing the income of its people by increasing employment opportunities.
