Abstract

According to the approach of New Public Service, the governments main focus is public service. As an institution in charge of providing services to the public, the government certainly can not do it all by itself or single fighter. This is because many types of services that must be provided to the public. Therefore do a cooperation contract between the government and the private sector (KSP) in supplying and servicing the public. Memorandum of understanding contract between the government and private or Public Private Partnership (PPPs) considered very necessary to organize public services, as well as the procurement and management of Rau Market (Rau Trade Center). Besides as icons Kota Serang, Rau Trade Center also serves as a tool in the development of the local economy. This study uses the theory of policy implementation according to Charles O. Jones, namely the organization, interpretation and application. The method used is qualitative case study approach. The results showed that the form of cooperation between the government of Kota Serang with PT. Pesona Banten Persada in the management of rau market is Build Operate Transfers with a concession period of 20 years since 2002. The cooperation is carried out to increase the economic activity of society to accommodate many traders. Rau market management differentiated by region in the building is the responsibility of the private sector and the authorities covering the costs of lease / sale price rental kiosks and stalls, hygiene management of garbage and cleanliness and parking levy withdrawal. Outside the building into the management of local authorities in terms of cleanliness and parking levies, while for rental kiosk / los beyond the authority of the local government because it is owned by an individual. Contributions partnership on revenue of Serang not optimal, amounting to 300 million per month from the levy cleanliness and parking. There has been no further decisions regarding the management of rau by the private market will continue or will be submitted to the local government after the concession period ends.

Abstract

Maize was traditionally the second most common staple food in Indonesia. Conversion to maize flour has been accomplished to improve its convenience. Traditionally, maize flour is produced by soaking the kernels in water followed by grinding. It was reported that final physicochemical characteristics of the maize flour were influenced by spontaneous fermentation which occurred during soaking. This research aimed to isolate and identify important microorganisms that grew during fermentation thus a standardized starter culture can be developed for a more controlled fermentation process. Soaking of maize grits was conducted in sterile water (grits:water=1:2, w/v) in a closed container at room temperature (±28ºC) for 72 hours. After 0, 4, 12, 24, 36, 48, 72 hours, water and maize grits were sampled and tested for the presence of mold, yeast, and lactic acid bacteria (LAB). Isolates obtained from the spontaneous fermentation were reinoculated into the appropriate media containing starch to observe their amylolytic activity. Individual isolate was then identified; mold by slide culture method, while yeast and LAB by biochemical rapid kits, i.e. API 20C AUX and API CH50, respectively. The number of each microorganism was plotted against time to obtain the growth curve of the microorganisms during spontaneous fermentation. The microorganisms were identified as Penicillium chrysogenum, P. citrinum, A. flavus, A. niger, Rhizopus stolonifer, R.oryzae, Fusarium oxysporum, Acremonium strictum, Candida famata, Kodamaea ohmeri, Candida krusei/incospicua, Lactobacillus plantarum 1a, Pediococcus pentosaceus, L. brevis 1, L. plantarum 1b, and L. paracasei ssp paracasei 3. Four molds and one yeast were amylolytic while none of the LAB was capable of starch hydrolysis. The growth curve suggested that the amylolitic mold and yeast grew to hydrolyze starch during the course of fermentation, while the LABs benefited from the hydrolyzed products and dominated the later stage of the fermentation.

Abstract

Penelitian berjudul “Hubungan Kekerabatan Fenetik Tujuh Anggota Familia Apocynaceae” telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 22 s.d 29 Februari 2016. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan kekerabatan fenetik tujuh anggota familia Apocynaceae. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode deskriptif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini tujuh spesies anggota familia Apocynaceae antara lain yaitu Allamanda cathartica, Plumeria acuminata, Alstonia scholaris, Catharanthus roseus, Nerium oleander, Cerbera manghas, dan Thevetia peruviana. Parameter yang digunakan yaitu ciri morfologi batang, daun, bunga, buah dan biji dan jenis habitus. Analisis data melalui perhitungan Indeks Similaritas (IS). Selanjutnya dilakukan Analisis Cluster untuk mengelompokkan tanaman yang memiliki kesamaan karakteristik dari tujuh spesies. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kekerabatan sangat dekat terdapat pada kombinasi spesies Cerbera manghas dan Thevetia peruviana dengan nilai IS= 0,82. Adapun kekerabatan dekat terdapat pada 11 kombinasi spesies dengan nilai indek similaritas berkisar antara IS= 0,71 - 0,53. Sebaliknya Kekerabatan tidak dekat terdapat pada 9 kombinasi spesies dengan nilai Indeks Similaritas berkisar antara IS= 0,50 - 0,38. Kesimpulannya adalah hubungan kekerabatan pada 7 spesies anggota familia Apocynaceae terdapat tiga katagori kekerabatan yaitu kekerabatan sangat dekat, dekat, dan tidak dekat. Kekerabatan sangat dekat ditunjukkan pada kombinasi spesies Cerbera manghas dan Thevetia peruviana dengan Indeks Similaritas tertinggi yaitu 0,82. Sedangkan hubungan kekerabatan yang jauh ditunjukkan pada kombinasi spesies Allamanda cathartica dan Nerium oleander dengan nilai IS= 0,38.

Abstract

           Jenis kelamin unggas dapat dimanipulasi, yaitu melalui pengubahan jumlah hormon estrogen dan testosteron di dalam tubuh dan yolk.  Pengubahan ini dapat dilakukan melalui pengaturan kandungan Zn pada pakan.  Selain Zn yang dapat mempengaruhi fungsi reproduksi ternak, vitamin E juga  bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan fertilitas, pertumbuhan embrio normal dan sebagai antioksidan.  Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh suplemen mineral Zn, vitamin E dan interaksi keduanya terhadap sex ratio anak puyuh.  Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial 3 x 3 dengan 3 ulangan.  Faktor pertama adalah level mineral Zn (0mg, 50mg dan 100mg) ) dan faktor kedua adalah level vitamin E (0ppm, 45ppm dan 50ppm).  Setiap unit percobaan terdiri dari 2 ekor puyuh betina dan 1 ekor puyuh jantan. Parameter yang diukur adalah  konsumsi ransum,  bobot telur, daya tetas dan sex ratio anak puyuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Interaksi antara mineral Zn dan vitamin E berpengaruh terhadap bobot telur, namun tidak berpengaruh terhadap konsumsi ransum, daya tetas dan sex ratio anak puyuh. Penambahan mineral Zn berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot telur, namun tidak mempengaruhi konsumsi ransum, daya tetas dan sex ratio anak puyuh.  Penambahan vitamin E berpengaruh nyata terhadap konsumsi ransum, bobot telur dan daya tetas, namun tidak berpengaruh terhadap sex ratio anak puyuh. Kata kunci : Anak puyuh, mineral Zn, vitamin E, sex ratio. Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of GDP and imports Against General Cargo Contanerized Indonesia. The independent variable in this research is the GDP and Importswith the dependent variable is General Cargo Contanerized Indonesia.Type of this research is an explanatory research with quantitative approach.Focusing searching Indonesia General Cargo Containerized in 2001 up to 2013.Methods of data collection is by documentation of data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and World Bank website. Method of data analysis is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression performed classical assumption previously.F test results showed that GDP and imports were significant effect on the General Cargo Containerized Indonesia. The t-test showed that GDP had positive influence and no significant on the General Cargo Containerized Indonesia andImports have a positive and significant impact on the General Cargo Containerized Indonesia. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh PDB dan impor Terhadap General Cargo Contanerized Indonesia. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah PDB dan Import dengan variable dependen General Cargo Contanerized Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian penjelasan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Fokus penelitian pada General Cargo Containerized Indonesia pada tahun 2001 sampai dengan 2013. Metode pengumpulan data adalah dengan dokumentasi data dari website Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) dan Bank Dunia. Metode analisis data adalah analisis deskriptif dan regresi linier berganda dengan dilakukan asumsi klasik sebelumnya. Hasil uji F menunjukkan bahwa PDB dan impor berpengaruh signifikan dari General Cargo Containerized Indonesia. T-test menunjukkan bahwa PDB memiliki pengaruh positif dan tidak ada yang signifikan dari General Cargo Containerized Indonesia dan Impor memiliki dampak positif dan signifikan dariGeneral Cargo Containerized Indonesia. Abstract

Abstract—At this time, technological developments is gettingquickly, includes all aspects of life, especially the development ofinformation and technology. This development is due to theapplication of flexible technology making it easier for everyone toaccess and share information. The computer network is one way ofapplication of information technology that growing rapidly. Todayalmost every company uses a computer network to communicatewith those who need to give access permissions. In communicatingon the network, it takes a network control device such as a router.A router manages of data communication paths in a network suchas managing access to a form of resources and set the course ofdata communications. The settings permissions using accessmethod (ACL) on each network. The ACL consists of rules andconditions that define the network traffic associated where everyuser will be given access rights according to the proportion,whether is allowed to pass or rejected. It is useful for the security ofconfidential information on the network. In this paper a routerconfiguration is simulated with Packet Tracer simulation software.Intisari — Pada saat ini perkembangan teknologi semakin pesat,mencakup segala aspek kehidupan terutama perkembanganinformasi dan teknologi. Perkembangan ini disebabkanpenerapan teknologi yang fleksibel sehingga memudahkan setiaporang untuk mengakses dan berbagi informasi. Jaringankomputer merupakan salah satu cara penerapan teknologiinformasi yang berkembang cepat. Dewasa ini hampir setiapperusahaan menggunakan jaringan komputer untukberkomunikasi dengan pihak-pihak yang membutuhkan denganmemberikan izin akses. Dalam berkomunikasi pada jaringan,dibutuhkan sebuah perangkat pengontrol jaringan sepertirouter. Router mengatur jalur komunikasi data dalam jaringanseperti mengatur hak akses terhadap suatu bentuk sumberinformasi dan mengatur jalannya komunikasi data. Pengaturanhak akses yang akan digunakan menggunakan Metode AccessList (ACL) pada tiap jaringan. ACL terdiri atas aturan-aturandan kondisi yang menentukan trafik jaringan dimana setiap useryang berhubungan akan diberikan hak akses sesuai denganproporsinya, apakah diizinkan untuk lewat atau ditolak. Hal iniberguna untuk keamanan kerahasiaan informasi pada jaringan.Dalam paper ini konfigurasi router disimulasikan dengansoftware simulasi Packet Tracer.Kata Kunci — Konfigurasi kemanan jaringan, Paket Tracer,Metode ACL(Accessed List).

Abstract

Service activities such as science, technology and the arts for the people (IbM) to the group of women farmers and processors of aloe plant (Aloe vera) namely Citra Mandiri in Tapos Districts, Depok (as a partner) has the following objectives: 1) Standardization of nata Aloe vera product to be a good processed with consistently and desired products; 2) Diversification of Aloe vera products; and 3) Improvement and business management technical training. Community service team, who act as facilitators have been mentoring to improve the product quality Aloe vera nata to be consistent, to develop new products as diversification of candy and puddings of Aloe vera with the appropriate technology for home industries with a current good Manufacturing Practice and hygienic environment. To expand the market access, the team also trained collaborators about food packaging and labeling. In addition, a collaborators become a member of the Creative Industries Association of Depok to increase their market access and network.

Abstract

The prevalenses of soil transmitted helminths (STH) infection in Lombok are relatively high. It isclosley associated with poor environmetal hygiene, non healthy sanitation status, poverty andimproper health services. The highest prevalences is normally observed in elementary school children.The aim of this study was to evalaute the relationship between hygiene, sanitation and STH infectionamong elementary school children in West Lombok. An observational study with cross-sectionaldesign was performed involving 197 elementary school children in Terong Tawah Village, LabuapiSub District, West Lombok District and 197 children in Ampenan, Mataram City as control. Thestool specimen of the children were collected and processed using Kato-Katz technique. Hygieneand sanitation of each subject that consisted nail hygiene, hand washing, using footwear, latrine,clean water availability, house floor, soil around the house were taken by questionnaire and directobservation. The result showed that the prevalences of STH among elementary school children inTerong Tawah (81.7%) was higher than that in Ampenan (12.7%).Trichuris trichiurawas thepredominant helminth both in Terong Tawah (36.0%) and Ampenan (7.0%) followed byA.lumbricoides(20.4% in Terong Tawah and 4.5% in Ampenan). The mix infections betweenT.trichiuraandA. lumbricoidesamong the children in Terong Tawah (24.4%) and Ampenan (1.0%)were also found. A significant relationship between hygiene and sanitaion i.e. nail cleaniness, washinghands, contaminated soil around the house and STH infection among elementary school children inTerong Tawah and Ampenan (p<0.05). In conclusion,there is a significant relationship betweenpersonal hygiene, environmental sanitation and STH infections among elementary school children.

Abstract

Mahogany has fast growth and produces hard mahogany used for furniture. An important factor determining the success of mahogany planting is the availability of quality seeds. For that, the things to note are the availability of nutrients and water sufficient for the growth of seedlings. In the fulfillment of seedling needs, used NPK compound fertilizer. The purpose of this research is to know the growth of mahogany seedlings at various doses of NPK compound fertilizer. The research method used was Randomized Complete Design (RAL) consisting of four treatments, namely P0 = Soil (control), P1 = Soil + NPK fertilizer with dose (5 g), P2 = Soil + NPK fertilizer with dose (10 g) and P3 = Soil + NPK fertilizer with dose (15 g). Each treatment is repeated five times so that it needs 20 seeds of samples, each polybag is one mahogany. The data obtained based on the observed results were analyzed by using the analysis of the variety and treatment that had real or very real effect tested further by using the Honest Different Test (BNJ) at the level (5%). The result of this research shows that the dosage of NPK fertilizer has significant effect on all parameters, that is the height of seedlings, the stem diameter, the leaf number, the wet weight of the seedlings and the dry weight of the seedlings. Soil treatment + NPK fertilizer with dose (15 g) (P3) gave the best influence to the growth of mahogany seedlings in almost all observed parameters, where the average height increase of seedlings, ie 2.40 mm, stem diameter increase, ie 1.21 cm, the increase of leaf number, that is 3.03 strands, wet weight of seedlings, that is 2.75 g and dry weight of seedlings is 2.15 gr.

Abstract

For this reason, the things that need to be known are the availability of sufficient nutrients and air for seedling growth. In meeting the needs of seedlings, NPK compound fertilizers. The purpose of this study was to determine the growth of mahogany seedlings at various doses of NPK compound fertilizer. The research method is a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of four treatments, namely P0 = Land (control), P1 = Land + NPK fertilizer with a dose (5 g), P2 = Soil + NPK fertilizer at a dose (10 g) and P3 = Land + NPK fertilizer with a dose (15 g). Each treatment was repeated five times requiring 20 seedlings of 20 experimental samples, each polybag containing one mahogany seedling. The data used are the results of the analysis using in-depth or very realistic analysis and analysis using the Honest Real Difference Test (BNJ) at the level (5%). The results showed that the dose of NP fertilizer was very significant for all parameters, namely seedling height increase, stem diameter increase, number of leaves, seedling wet weight and seedling dry weight. Soil treatment + NPK fertilizer with a dose (15 g) (P3) gives the best influence on the growth of mahogany seedlings in almost all parameters that know, where the average seedling height increase, which is 2.40 mm, increase in stem diameter, ie 1.21 cm, increase in number of leaves, ie 3.03 strands, seedling wet weight, ie 2.75 g and seedling dry weight of 2.15 g.Keywords: NPK fertilizer, mahogany, Swietenia mahagoni (L) Jacq
