Abstract

Marketing Efficiency Analysis of Best Seller Spa Products at PT Bali Tangi This research is aimed to find out the marketing channels, to calculate marketingmargin, producer?s share, and to analyze marketing efficiency of best seller spaproducts at PT Bali Tangi. This company produces three types of spa productsnamely scrub, masker and massage oil that are in high demand. Samples wereselected purposively for retailers from PT Bali and snowball sampling for retailersfrom the wholesaler. Total samples were 30 from Denpasar City and BadungRegency including wholesaler, retailers, hotels and villas. The results showed thatthere are three types of marketing channels of best seller spa products of PT BaliTangi. Channel I: producer ? end consumers (for three spa products), channel II:producer ? retailers and institutional consumers ? end consumers (for three spaproducts), and channel III: producer - wholesaler - institutional consumers ? endconsumers (for only two spa products). The channel II comprises 52.95% of the totalsales, whereas 8.97% and 38.07% respectively for channel I and III. The highestmarketing margin was seen from the channel III at amount of Rp 80,000/unit, whileno marketing margin coming from the channel I as it is direct marketing. Thechannel II has marketing margin Rp 25,000. The highest producer?s share is onchannel I by 100% and the lowest is on channel III by 57.89%. The channel II hasproducer?share of 86.49%. In terms of marketing efficiency, this research does notcompare to channel I because channel I does not have a marketing agency. ChannelII of the marketing channel is the most efficient based on three analysis of marketingmargins, producer?s share, and price efficiency. Channel III is only efficient atoperational efficiency of 2,944.57%. Meanwhile, channel III is inefficient. Despite ofinefficiency, channel III is the main supporting channel for the company to maintaindue to high volume of trading compared to channel I.

Abstract

Profile of Small Industries Tofu and Tempeh ?Makmur Jaya? in The District West Of Denpasar, The City Of DenpasarThis study aimed to determine the profile of industrial businesses of tofu and tempeh (Makmur Jaya), which included the availability of raw and auxiliary materials, production systems, production processes, types and quantities of production, costs of production, revenue, and marketing channels of small industries in the District of West Denpasar, Denpasar City. The data collected in this study were primary and secondary data, and method of collecting data.Profile of small industries of tofu and tempeh is a general overview of a business, in this case is the business of tofu and tempeh. The source of capital used by Makmur Jaya in producing tofu and tempeh was its own capital for business sustainability. The average amount of soybean raw materials required by Makmur Jaya in one production process for the manufacture of tofu and tempeh, namely, a total of 1.75 quintals per day to produce tofu and tempeh. Of which 75 kg of soybeans were used for making tofu, while the remaining100 kg for making tempeh. The average cost of production facilities issued by Makmur Jaya for producing tofu and tempeh for one time production process was an average of Rp. 59,762,083 per month. Makmur Jaya generally marketed their products to markets. The revenue generated by Makmur Jaya industrial business of tofu and tempeh was Rp 39,237,917 per month.

Abstract

Business Feasibility of Tangerine Plantationin the Village of Sekaan, Sub-District of Southern Kintamani , the Regency of BangliThe roles of agriculture in the national economic development are asthe driving force of economic growth through the agro-industry, as a provider and developer of the market for the products and services of non-agricultural sectors, as capital accumulation and qualified workforce and as the conservation of natural resources for sustainable development. One of the agricultural commodities that has important and strategic positions are citrus fruits. Data from the Department of P3 (agriculture, horticulture, and forestry) of Bangli Regency in 2014 showed that the total population of citrus crop in Bangli Regency amounted to 4,084,168 trees, within a period of five years from 2009 until 2013, citrus production has fluctuated.One of the tangerine farms in the Province of Bali is located in the village of Sekaan, Sub-District of Southern Kintamani, Bangli Regency. Therefore, the study was conductedto analyze the financial feasibility, and obstacles faced in running the tangerine plantation business for 10 years. In the financial feasibility, the aspects discussed include: net present value, net benefit / cost ratio, internal rate of return, payback period and sensitivity analysis that were discussed descriptively and quantitatively. Theresults showed that the tangerine farming business in the village of Sekaan, Sub-District of Southern Kintamani, Bangli Regency is feasible to be continued.

Abstract

The Effect of US Dollar, Inflation, and Price Exchange on Coffee Exports of BaliProvince Bali Province has one of the main export products from plantation products, namelycoffee. Coffee contributes significantly to the volume of plantation exports from BaliProvince. The fluctuating export volume of coffee commodities is influenced by theamount of production from the coffee itself. Exchange rates are a very influential factorin export activities. Another factor affecting the fluctuating export volume of coffeecommodities is the inflation rate and the price of the export of coffee itself. The dataused in this research was secondary data. The method of data collection was conductedby the method of documentation. Data is processed by the RCA index technique andmultiple linear regression analysis which was previously equipped with the classicassumption test. The results of the RCA index test show that coffee commodities do notyet have competitiveness (RCA <1). The test results show that simultaneously, the USdollar exchange rate, inflation, and prices have a significant effect on the coffee exportsof the Province of Bali. Partially the US dollar exchange rate has a positive andsignificant effect on coffee exports, inflation does not have a positive and significanteffect on coffee exports, prices have a positive and significant effect on coffee exportsin Bali Province.

Abstract

Abstract Effectivity of Subsidized Organic Fertilizer and its Impact toward Rice Farmer?s Income at Subak Sungsang, Tibubiu Village, Tabanan Regency Balinese Government has established a subsidized solid organic fertilizer policy produced by the Integrated Farming System (Simantri), group of farmer who maintain the organic fertilizer processing machine (APPO) and Organic Fertilizer Producing Training House (RPPO). The policy of organic fertilizer subsidy has been established since 2013. Subak Sungsang is one of many villages who receive subsidized organic fertilizer since 2014 and still using balanced compound fertilizer to its rice farm.The purpose of this research is to know the effectivity of subsidized organic fertilizer distribution and the impact of using balanced compound fertilizer toward rice farmer?s income at Subak Sungsang. The method that is used to measure the effectivity of subsidized organic fertilizer distribution is through ?four proper? in which are proper of price, proper of place, proper of time and proper of amount and income analysis to know the comparison of balanced compound fertilizer?s income and full capacity of chemical fertilizer?s income. The result of this research shows that the distribution of subsidized organic fertilizer in terms of proper of price, place, and time is very effective (100%), while in term of proper of amount is very ineffective (0%). Based on the analysis of rice farm?s income, the average income of the Subak Sungsang respondents is increasing from Rp. 6.704.185,82/crop season by using full capacity of chemical fertilizer to Rp. 8.932.832,73/crop season by using balanced compound fertilizer. Abstract

The Effect of the Amount of Deposits and Lending Credit on Profits of VillageUnit Cooperatives of Mambal, Sub-District of Abiansemal, Badung Regency Cooperatives are legal entities established by individuals or cooperative legal entities,with the separation of the wealth of their members as capital to run a business to meetcommon needs. One of the forms of cooperative development is the village unitcooperative. Factors that influence the existence of cooperatives in the midst of theglobal economy are the amount of net income they have. The Mambal Village UnitCooperative has carried out several businesses in order to obtain maximum profits.Efforts are made, namely by carrying out activities to raise funds, both from membersand from the public in the form of deposits and credits. This study aims to determine theeffect of the total of deposits and amount of credits on the profits. This research wasconducted at the Mambal Village Cooperative Unit, Abiansemal Sub-District, BadungRegency. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the studyshowed that simultaneously the amount of deposits and the amount of credits had apositive and significant effect on the profits of the Mambal Village Unit Cooperative.Partially the amount of deposits has a positive and significant effect on the profits at theMambal Village Cooperative Unit, while the amount of credits has a positive and notsignificant effect on the profits of the Mambal Village Unit Cooperative.

Abstract

Health Rating of Mambal Village Unit Cooperative, Abiansemal Sub-District, Badung Regency Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Cooperatives and Small and MediumEnterprises of the Republic of Indonesia No.14/Per M. KUKM/XII/2009, Savings andLoan Cooperative Health Assessment (KSP) is a cooperative condition that deals withaspects of capital, productive asset quality, management, liquidity, efficiency,independence and growth as well as cooperative identity. By reviewing theseconditions, the objectives of this study are The health rating of the Mambal Village UnitCooperative in terms of capital, productive asset quality, management, efficiency,liquidity, independence and growth and cooperative identity in 2015 to 2017. Theresults of the study show that the assessment of the health level of the Mambal VillageUnit Cooperative in 2015-2017 was categorized as quite healthy, because it obtained amean score of 66.64.Suggestions that can be used as input for the Mambal VillageCooperative Unit, namely cooperative managers should be able to increase theacquisition of pre-tax profits by maximizing income through the participation ofmembers in savings and loan activities by maximizing their own capital. In addition,cooperative managers should improve the ability of cooperatives to serve theirmembers.

Abstract

Segmenting, Targeting, and Positioning Strategies of Marketing JatiluwihOrganic Brown Rice in Bali Province A company cannot serve all consumers in a vast market. Therefore, if the companywishes to be in the market and win a competition, it must seek a strategy that canunderstand consumers and competitors. This study aimed to determine the marketsegment (segmenting), target market (targeting) and market position (positioning) oforganic red rice products of Jatiluwih Bali. The technique of determining samplesused accidental non-probabilitiy random sampling method. Segmenting and targetingwere done using cluster analysis and crosstab analysis tools. Positioning used Multidimensional scaling and Corespondence analysis. The results of this study showedthat there were 3 segments, with percentage of Segment-1 (49%), Segment-2 (31%)and Segment-3 (20%). Based on the market appeal, potential target market wassegment-3. Product positioning based on MDS analysis tool, Jatiluwih rice productwas not in any quadrant, so it showed no resemblance to the competitor's product.Positioning based on CA analysis, organic red rice products Jatiluwih Bali hadadvantages in health attributes, packaging and aroma. Suggestions that can be madeare that the company should implement strategies to increase sales by maintaining orincreasing the attributes of excellence, increasing price discounts and maintainingquality, developing promotional activities and diversification of processed red riceproducts.

Abstract

The Effects of Working Capital on the KUAT Cooperative Liquidity of Subak Guama KUAT Cooperative of Subak Guama is the manager of subak?s assets sourced from both macro and micro capitals as an effort to empower the members of Subak Guama in order to facilitate the farming services to achieve the common prosperity. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of working capital on the liquidity of KUAT Cooperative of Subak Guama during the period of 2008 to 2017 and to analyze the constraints in controlling the working capitals. Analyzer in this research was analysis of ratio of finance and doubled linear regression. The results showed that the effect of cash turnover, receivable turnover, and inventory turnover simultaneously have a significant influence on liquidity. Partial research results show that the turnover of receivables and inventory turnover have a significant influence on liquidity whereas cash turnover has no significant effect on liquidity. The result of the research on the constraint to controlworking capital is caused by the lack of awareness of the members in fulfilling the mandatory savings and there are still bad credits of 13% so that it requires the control of loans to members and non-members who apply for loans in KUAT Cooperative of Subak Guama.

Abstract

Partnership Mechanism of PIR-TRANS farmers and PT. Tania Selatan through a cooperative for Palm Oil Production in Tania Makmur Village,Lempuing Jaya Sub-district, OKI Regency, South Sumatera Province PIR-TRANS and PT. South Tania could make farmers feel aggrieved because of  the lack of good management company, so the PIR-TRANS farmers need to know the mechanisms and constraints on partnership between farmers PIR-TRANS and PT. South Tania through cooperatives. Mechanisms of partnership can be seen from the rights and obligations of farmers and companies, as well as the role of relevant institutions and the constraints faced by companies and farmers. The data used in the form of qualitative data sourced from primary and secondary data. Methods of data collection in the form of in-depth interviews and documentation. The analytical method used is descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that mechanisms and constraints in the implementation of partnership is based on a written agreement between farmers of PIRTRANS and PT. Tania Selatan has been implemented quite well. Farmers' right to getseeds, development and marketing of crops. The right of the company is to get the harvest in accordance with the standards of the company. The farmer's obligation is to supply all crops according to the company standards. The company's obligation is to maintain the infrastructure. The certainty of roles between farmers and companies has been running optimally. The biggest obstacle faced by farmers and companies is the poor road infrastructure causing inhibition of transportation and harvesting process, especially in the rainy season, and poor management of the company to make farmers feel harmed at the beginning of cooperation done.
