Abstract

Community empowerment and positive image are desired of the company?s CSR program. The purpose of this study was to analyze ( 1 ) the implementation of company?s CSR communication PTPN V for community empowerment and building a positive image. ( 2 )  relationship among communication company?s CSR PTPN V with community empowerment and corporate image. Research using quantitative and survey techniques . The population in this study as many as 418 people . The sample in this study as many as 250 people. Sampling in this study conducted proportional sampling . The conclusions of this study is the implementation of CSR communication within the company PTPN V for community empowerment and build a positive image is generally going well. Furthermore, there are very significant (p < 0.01) relationship among communicators, messages, channels with community empowerment and corporate image

Abstract

Communication information about Dangue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a routine activity carried out by the Pekanbaru City Health Service. Counseling was held both in the lecture method at the puskesmas in Bukit Raya District and by using the mobile method. The theory used in this research is Effectiveness theory. The purpose of this study was to find out how much the effectiveness of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) communication by the Pekanbaru City Health Service to the community in Bukit Raya sub-district. This study uses a quantitative research method with a descriptive approach, with data collection techniques, namely through distributing questionnaires to the people of Bukit Raya Sub-district who participated in DHF counseling with a sample of 166 respondents determined through Accidental Sampling techniques caused by accidental nature. While the data analysis technique in this study uses desktiptif statistical techniques. The results of this study indicate that the level of Communication Effectiveness of DHF Counseling conducted by the Pekanbaru City Health Office is very effective with a scale of 3.27. The message receiver indicator (receiver) has a scale of 3.70, a scale of 3.48 on the message content indicator (content), a scale of 3.00 on the channel indicator (media), a scale of 3.20 on the indicator indicator, a scale of 3.13 on the indicator source message (source), and scale 3.17 on the indicator of timeliness (timings). Based on the results of the calculation of the effectiveness of DHF counseling communication obtained the results of 3.28 which shows a Very Effective scale. Thus it can be concluded that the Pekanbaru City Health Office has very effective communication in delivering and providing information on dengue counseling to the Bukit Raya District community.

Abstract

Brand Ambassador as a source of advertising or information about the brand and product attributes pleasant, reassuring and attract public attention. One product that uses a motor vehicle Brand Ambassador is a Yamaha YZF-R15. Yamaha YZF-R15merupakan brand of motor vehicles of the type of sport fairing. In marketing their products, Yamaha YZF-R15 using the Brand Ambassador in advertising. Advertising itself into one of the social media that are very popular, so has the coverage is extensive. Therefore, use of Brand Ambassador YZF-R15 products in advertising may cause consumer purchasing decisions on the Pekanbaru YR15CR community.The method used is quantitative eksplanatif using random sampling techniques and the total sample of 113 respondents. Researchers collected data by questionnaire. To find out how much influence between the variables X and Y, researchers used a simple linear regression analysis. Processing test data questionnaire was conducted using SPSS program Windows Version 23.Based on the results of investigation of the influence of Valentino Rossi as a brand ambassador in the ad Yamaha R15 on purchasing decisions Yamaha R15 among YR15CR chapter Pekanbaru it can be seen the influence of brand ambassadors Valentino Rossi is known tcount 5.409 greater when compared with t table of 1.981, with a significance level of 0.000 smaller than ? = 0.05. Based on the model table "Sumarry Model" shows that the value of R = 0.457 and coefficient of determination (Rsquare) is equal to 0.209. The figure shows that the influence of variables influence the understanding Valentino Rossi as a brand ambassador in the ad Yamaha R15 Yamaha R15 purchasing decisions among YR15CR Pekanbaru chapter is 20,9%. Abstract

In late 2018, the news about Lion Air JT 610 crash is one of the most talked news in internet. This fast spreading of information have some effects. Therefore, news exposure about Lion Air JT610 plane crash can affect the image of Lion Air. The purpose of this research is to prove whether there is effect of Lion Air JT610 plane crash news exposure on internet towards the image of Lion Air or not. The method used in this research is explanatory quantitative. Data collection techniques are done by questionnaire and documentation. The population in this research are the airline consumers at Sultan Syarif Kasim II Airport Pekanbaru. This research used accidental sampling towards the respondents. To know the impact of two variable used in this research, the researcher used simple linear regression analysis. Questionnaire data processing is conducted with Statistic Product and Service Solution SPSS for Windows version 16.  Based on the result of simple linear regression in this research, regression coefficient is Y= 26,676 + 0,216 X with significance level 0,03 and smaller than  = 0,05. Based on determination test the result is 4,9% which means there is a very weak effect of Lion Air JT610 crash news exposure on internet towards the image of Lion Air airline at Sultan Syarif Kasim II airport Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Counseling activities are still being carried out to convey information to the public so that the information conveyed can be known and utilized by the community. One of the counseling activities is about accident insurance delivered by PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero) Riau Branch to Students of Muhammadiayah Vocational High School 2 Pekanbaru  so that they better understand the roles and functions of PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero) as an accident social insurance company.The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is an effect of counselling communication by PT. Jasa Raharja (Persero) Riau Branch on the level of awareness about accident insurance in students of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. The theory used in this research is AIDDA theory.This study uses quantitative research with explanatory methods. Data collection techniques in this study by distributing questionnaires to students of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru who participated in counseling activities with a sample of 105 respondents who were determined through Proportional Stratified Sampling.The results show the value of regression coefficient in this study is Y = 18.000 + 0.472 (X). Meanwhile tcount (7.243)> ttable (1.983) with a significance level of 0.00 and smaller than ? = 0.05. Based on the correlation interpretation guidelines, a correlation value (R) of 0.581 is obtained, thus the relationship between the communication variables of accident insurance counseling and the level of student awareness of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru in the moderate category. Furthermore, the results of the determination test (R2) of 0.337. It can be explained that 33.7% of the level of student awareness of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru is influenced by communication and the rest is influenced by other factors by 66.3%.     Keyword: Counseling Communication, Accident Insurance, Awareness

Abstract

Trans Metro Pekanbaru is starting to operate on June 18, 2009. Trans Metro Pekanbaru is a mass public transportation system in the city of Pekanbaru, is a solution to congestion gradually and programmed for the community. Implementation of mass public transportation system (SAUM) Trans Metro Pekanbaru often received criticism and complaints from the public. Trans Metro has not been optimized to position itself as a mass public transport that is safe, comfortable, scheduled, reliable and sustainable. Related to that the Department of Transportation of Pekanbaru city to do communication strategy that aims to increase public interest using Trans Metro Pekanbaru. This research was conducted to find out the strategy of communicator, media strategy, supporting and inhibiting factors, and communication model by City Transportation Department Pekanbaru.This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. The subjects involved in this study were determined based on purposive and Insidental technique consisting of seven informants, two informants from Transportation Department of Pekanbaru and five informants of Trans Metro Pekanbaru users. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques using interactive data model Miles and Huberman with the examination of the validity of the data is done by using the extension technique of participation and triangulation. The result of the research shows that Transportation Department uses communication strategy such as communicator strategy where communicator of Forest Service in conveying information has credibility, knowledge, and skill. The media used by the Department of Transportation is the face-to-face media or directly, the mass media used are electronic media, online media, and non-mass media that is stickers and brochures. Supporting factors are facilities and infrastructure and economic tariff, inhibiting factors are lack of bus stop, bus delay, lack of awareness of society, and lack of bus special lane based on communications strategy done by City Transportation Department Pekanbaru.Keywords: Communication Strategy, Transportation, and Interest

Abstract

The increase of dangerous drugs using cases, in Bangkinang affected the userdiscrete from the environment, family, society until country. The majority of dangerous drugsusers are adolescent in 11 until 19 years old. In the several time, a lot of adolescent useddangerous drugs because the minimum information that their gotten. There for, DWP, BNKand Polres Kampar held socialization in SMA Muhammadiyah Bangkinang to invite them foravoiding the drugs. The intention of this research is to know the socialization effect of thedangerous drugs to the student?s attitude of SMA Muhammadiyah Bangkinang.The researchdesign used kuantitative research by descriptive method. The account of sampel is 70people from 193 population. The sampel is decided from Quota Sampling technique, analyzemethod in this research used a formula P=F/N × 100%. The result of this research showsthat the socialization effect of dangerous drugs to the student?s attitude SMA MuhammadiyahBangkinang can be categoried good with the precentage is 95,09% and the socialization washeld by DWP, BNK and Polres Kampar to SMA Muhammadiyah Bangkinang was succesfull.

Abstract

The tourism sector now becomes a leading sector of development because of it able to touch the lowest level of community with a share economy and increasing performance. Tourism development requires participation from communities around tourist areas to develop and advance a tourist attraction. The presence of Pokdarwis or tourism conscious groups is a way to attract community participation. It is The Caretaker who is considered successful in managing and developing the tourism of Samudera Awan Bukit Suligi in Rokan Hulu. This study aims to find out how kinds of participatory communication, kinds of coaching and participative communication models of The Caretaker in developing the Samudera Awan Bukit Suligi tourism in Rokan Hulu.This study uses qualitative research methods with a participatory model. The research subjects were eleven informants who were selected using a purposive technique. Data collected by in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. And data validation uses the technique of extending participation, perseverance observation, and triangulation. The results of this study showed that participative communication conducted by The Caretaker group in developing the Samudera Awan Bukit Suligi tourism was carried out through internal and external discussions or meetings. The kinds of participatory communication consist of three stages, which is the planning, implementation, and utilization of results. The kind of guidance consists of two kinds, directly or indirectly guidance. Directly guidance is given through discussion, training, and socialization; while indirectly guidance is given through books and Instagram accounts (social media). For the communication model used is two - way participatory communication model. Abstract

AbstractStudy aimed to (1) analyze the relationship between the Community Development (CD) program and image of  PTPN V in the education sector beneficiaries in Pekanbaru;  (2) analyze the factors inhibiting and supporting the Community Development (CD) of PTPN-V. The first study  conducted  using quantitative methods  while  the second study  using qualitative methods. Results showed a strong correlation between Community Development (CD) program  and image  of  PTPN V in the education sector beneficiaries in Pekanbaru. Furthermore,  the  factors inhibiting the Community Development (CD) program that funds the education sector is relatively limited and should be selected for the program beneficiaries.  The factor supporting the education sector  of  Community Development (CD) program  was  a  good cooperation between company and educational organizations beneficiary  of  education program of Community Development (CD).Keywords:  community development, image of company

Abstract

The Mass media is a media or space that can be used to publish both information and entertainment to the public. One of the many information programs presented by the media, especially television, is the reality show program. One of them is a reality show called Net 86 which was produced in collaboration between NET and the Republic of Indonesia National Police which contains cooperation between police personnel in exposing a crime. In Cultivation theory that mass media imposes attitudes and values on the audience. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of information exposure from the "86" program on NET TV on the legal awareness of the Simpang Tiga Village community.The method used in this research is quantitative method. Data collection tecniques in this study using a questionnaire. The number of samples for this study were 100 respondent. Sampling using simple random sampling method. To determine the influence of these two variables, the reseachers used a simple linier regresion analysis. For the processing of questinaire data, were performed using the statistical product and service solution (SPSS) Windows Version 17.Result of reseach on the effect of Indonesia Lawyers Club talkshow program against education law faculty of law, University of regretion coefficient values obtained in this study is Y=8.796 + 1.277 with a significant level of less than α = 0,05. This means that there are significant the effect exposure to information on the 86 in net tv program of the community law awarenes bukit raya pekanbaru city amounted to 57,3% and in the category of medium effect. These percentages shows that the Information Exposure to Programs 86 on Tv Net has an effect on the Public Legal Awareness of Simpang Tiga Village, Bukit Raya Pekanbaru City. Thus H0 is rejecte and Ha accepted.Keyword : Exposure to Information, TV Program, Society
