Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) Effect of volcanic ash in partial replacement of the total fine aggregate of compressive strength and the density of the concrete, (2) resistance to the optimal compression of the concrete (3) optimum density concrete. (4) The teaching material obtained in the course of concrete technology on the effect of volcanic ash on the compressive strength of concrete and normal density.Experimental studies using methods and analytical techniques using a quantitative analysis of regression. Variables in the study were (1) the dependent variable: the strength of concrete in compression and the density of concrete, (2) independent variables: the variation of 0%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% Volcanic ash from the total weight of the sand. The sampel is  in the form of a cylinder with a diameter of 150 mm and a height of 300 mm.Based on the results of the study concluded that (1) changes in volcanic ash as a partial replacement of the fine aggregate strong overall influence on the compressive strength and density of concrete, (2) the optimal value of compressive strength and the weight of each type of concrete which is the variation of volcanic ash 8,36% amounted to 23,231 MPa, 11,889% to 22,919 MPa, (3) the value of the optimal concrete mixture as a whole, to namely the variation of volcanic ash 11,889% (4) in the form of teaching material to supplement teaching materials using Kelud volcanic ash as a partial replacement of fine aggregate on in terms of compressive strength concrete and density.Key words: normal concrete, volcanic ash, compressive strength, density.

Abstract

Implementasi Pembelajaran Berbasis Kurikulum 2013 Pada Program Keahlian Teknik Bangunan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui (1) Kondisi implementasi Kurikulum 2013 (2) Tingkat pemahaman guru mata diklat dalam implementasikan Kurikulum 2013, (3) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam implementasi Kurikulum 2013, (4) Upaya yang dilakukan program keahlian dalam implementasi Kurikulum2013 pada mata diklat Gambar Teknik SMK N 2 Surakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah snowball, Teknik analisis data mengunakan Miles and Huberman. Dan validitas data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi data. Hasil penelitin ini adalah: (1) Kondisi implementasi kurikulum 2013 secara informasi, sosialisasi, kondisi, dan supervisi belum dikategorikan baik dan perlu adanya perbaikan dan pengembangan (2) Tingkat pemahaman terdiri dari tiga fungsi manajerial diantaranya adalah perencanaan, pelaksanaa, dan penilaian pembalajaran dilihat dari ketercapaian indikator dapat dikategorikan baik dan sesuai dengan Permendikbud (3) Faktor pendukung diperoleh lewat pendampigan kurikulum 2013 kelompok C Direktorat Pembinaan SMK, Faktor penghambat berasal kedisiplinan guru, pembagian jam pembelajaran yang belum evektif, serta penyusunan administrasi yang terlalu banyak. (4) Upaya apa yang dilakukan dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran kurikulum 2013 adalah memaksimalkan prasarana pembelajaran, penyiapan dan pembinaan guru, serta penyediaan buku mata pelajaran.Kata Kunci : Implementasi, Pembelajaran, Kurikulum 2013.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to ascertain how to make appropriate learning video as an instrument in CAD Dua Dimensi, including how to make that video and to ascertain the influence towards student?s grades in CAD Dua Dimensi subject of Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan Sebelas Maret University.This research was considered as a research and development (R & D) that was done at Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan Sebelas Maret University. The research?s steps consist of three steps, namely preliminary study, developing design models, and validity of models. 1) Preliminary study was done with descriptive qualitative approach for analyzing necessities of media; 2) Developing design models were done with descriptive approach, namely: a) Making video that consists of three steps, pre-production, production, and post-production. Camtasia Studio 7 was used for making video, then used Adobe Flash CS5 for combining video; b) Trial processing, video was validated by a media expert, a contents expert, and a instructive expert to measured in ratting scale that used for examining appropriateness of media before testing users (alpha testing). Adequate video was tested with experimental method, limited tested and field tested in this method (beta testing) to ascertain the advantage media for users. The data was taken by ratting scale; 3) Summatif testing was used for known the effectiveness of using video towards student?s grades. This step was did by purposive sampling in this experiment, with pre test and post test. The data was analyzed by t-test.The conclution of this research that the video was appropriate for learning according three aspects, 1) Contents, 83% (very good); 2) Instructive, 81% (very good); 3) Media, 81% (very good); 4) The advantage of video, in pre-test 72.58%, in post-test 85.71%; 5) The student?s score especially for drawing simple house door get -5.66 using t-test, the average for pre-test 68.2 and post-test 75.67, the improvement of learning that use video is recomended as an innovation in learning process. This research had some weakness, 1) the process of making media needed long time, the subject only in one odd semester; 2) making perfect of media that used. This research as a motivation to develop learning media in education and as a reference for next researching in institute or other subject. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Peningkatan hasil belajar siswasetelah menggunakan model kooperatif tipe STAD dengan bantuan media komponenbangunan. 2) Efektivitas belajar siswa setelah menggunakan model kooperatif tipe STADdengan bantuan media komponen bangunan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakankelas (Action Research) model siklus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Subyekpenelitian adalah siswa kelas X TGB B SMK Negeri 2 Sukoharjo Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014.Sumber data diperoleh melalui tes, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Triangulasidata digunakan untuk menjaga validitas data, sedangkan untuk teknik analisis datadigunakan teknik analisis interaktif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan: 1) Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakanmodel kooperatif tipe STAD dengan bantuan media komponen bangunan. 2) Efektivitasbelajar siswa pada saat pembelajaran berjalan dengan efektif.Kata Kunci : media komponen bangunan, kooperatif, stad, hasil belajar

Antok Dian Pranadi. HUBUNGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN, PERAN ORANG TUA DAN LINGKUNGAN BELAJAR DENGANPRESTASI BELAJAR PADA SISWA KELAS X RUMPUN BANGUNAN SMK NEGERI 1 BENDO MAGETAN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2012/2013. Skripsi, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. Maret 2014.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara : (1) Media pembelajaran dengan prestasi belajar, (2) Peran orang tua dengan prestasi belajar, (3) Lingkungan belajar dengan prestasi belajar, (4) Media pembelajaran, peran orang tua dan lingkungan belajar dengan prestasi belajar.Penelitian ini mengambil lokasi di SMK N 1 Bendo, Kabupaten Magetan.Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan populasi siswa kelas X tahun ajaran 2012/2013 rumpun bangunan yang berjumlah 68 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 50% dari keseluruhan populasi yaitu 34 siswa yang terbagi dalam dua kelas. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Simple Random Sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dengan angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang dipakai menggunakan analisis statistik dengan Product Moment Pearson Correlation untuk uji validitas, untuk uji reliabilitas menggunakan metode Alpha Cronbach?s, sedangkan teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan regresi ganda.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa : (1) Ada hubungan yang positif signifikan antara media pembelajaran dengan prestasi belajar dapat diterima. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh nilai fhitung 1,820pada taraf signifikansi (p) sebesar 0,079 kurang dari ftabel  0,10. (2) Ada hubunganyang positif signifikan antara peran orang tua dengan prestasi belajar dapat diterima. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh nilai fhitung  2,090pada taraf signifikansi (p) sebesar 0,045 kurang dari ftabel  0,10. (3) Ada hubungan yang positif signifikan antara lingkungan belajar dengan prestasi belajar dapat diterima. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh nilai fhitung 2,397pada taraf signifikansi (p) sebesar 0,029 kurang dari ftabel  0,10. (4) Ada hubungan yang positif signifikan antara media pembelajaran, peran orang tua dan lingkungan belajar dengan prestasi belajar dapat diterima. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh nilai fhitung  13,573pada taraf signifikansi (p) sebesar 0,000 kurang dari ftabel  0,10.Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan positif signifikan antara media pembelajaran, peran orang tua dan lingkungan belajar dengan prestasi belajar dapat diterima pada siswa Kelas X Rumpun Bangunan SMKN 1 Bendo Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013. Kata Kunci : Media Pembelajaran, Peran Orang Tua, Lingkungan Belajar, Prestasi Belajar

Abstract

ABSTRACT AJI TRIE NUGROHO. K1506053. APPLICATION THE METHOD OFDEMONSTRATION TO IMPROVE LEARNING OUTCOMES IN BRICKINSTALLATION PRACTICE IN GRADE X TKBB SMK 2 Surakarta. Paper, Surakarta: School of Teacher Training and Education, Sebelas Maret University of Surakarta, November 2013. The purpose of this study are: (1) To improve learning outcomes and mastery learning grade X TKBB SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta by applying the method of demonstration in teaching of PDKB subjects particularly in bricks practice. This study is classroom action researches, which are conducted in two cycles, the first cycle begins with the identification of existing problems in the classroom, the planning such as preparation steps learning through the application the method of demonstration, action, observation, evaluation, and reflection to act on the second cycle. The subjects were students of grade X TKBB Building Skills Program SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta academic year 2012/2013. Data obtained through the cognitive observation, affective and psychomotor learners, interviews, observation learners, first cycle and second cycle cognitive tests. The data analysis used qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study, showed that the application the method of demonstration can improve learning outcomes of students of grade X TKBB SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta academic year 2012/2013 in the learning of Building Construction Basic Works (PDKB). It can be seen from the results of research. In this classroom action research resultsof cognitive learning percentage is 61.8%, and 91.4% in the second action; For affective and psychomotor outcomes in the readiness of learners in subjects receiving the first cycle (67.64%) and second cycle 80.14%), active learners in subjects following the first cycle (63.32%) and second cycle (80.14%); participation of learners in subjects receiving the first cycle (66.17%) and second cycle (78.67%); mastery learning first cycle (69.85%) and second cycle (79.41 %); ability to conduct demonstration first cycle (70.58%) and second cycle (80.88%); activity in the first cycle of interaction and discussion (67.64%) and second cycle(80.14%); communicating observations and experiments first cycle (67.64%) and second cycle (79.41%); clarity in expressing ideas/concept of the first cycle (69.85%) and second cycle (77.20%); ability learners in comparing learning with real life first cycle (69.11%) and second cycle (81.61%); ability to solve problems first cycle (69.58%) and second cycle (80.14%); comparing the results of discussion first cycle (65.44%) and second cycle (80.88%). The conclusion of this research is the application method of demonstration on learning bricks installation practice can improve learning outcomes of students of grade X TKBB Building Skills Program SMK N 2 Surakarta academic year 2012/2013.

Abstract

One of the problem faced by Indonesia is educational quality in every of schooling level. Educational quality in school is related with teacher because teacher is the primary factor in learning process. Therefore it is necessarily an effort to improve teacher professionalism in school. The effort to improve teacher professionalism is conducted through recruitment for the candidates through LPTK, knowledge improvement and teacher capability with advanced study or education and training and also learning quality improvement through teaching supervision by principle/school supervisor. To improve educational quality can be started from school using MPMBS concept. Indicator of educational quality one among the others is educational management system factor in which including professional educator training system.

Abstract

Multiple intelligence theory is proposed and developed by Howard Gardner. He defined intelligence as a capability in problem resolving and providing a product in varied setting and real situation. This multiple intelligence concept is related to attractive learning. The word ?attractive? has interesting meaning by which besides to attract and provide fun, it also provides creativity and motivates students to play while learning in which this conforms to the main principle of education in kindergarten. There are considerations which must be taken into account by the teacher in implementing attractive learning integrated with multiple intelligence on PAUD (early-aged children education), they are the impact of multiple intelligence on learning method or approach being used class management or setting and the evaluation of learning process. Principally teacher does not only provide lectures but also use problem solving approach adjusted with the student's capability in multiple intelligence theory.

Abstract

This study reports a quasi-experimental investigating the development of Science textbook based on Science Technology and Society for elementary school. The data collection was got from the achievement test (pretest-posttest). The population was all fourth-grade students of elementary schools in Gatak Subdistrict and the sample of the study was two schools as an experimental class and control class. The research sample was taken by random sampling technique. The results of this research showed that there was an improvement of student achievement before and after the implementation of science textbook based on Science Technology and Society. The result of the independent sample t-test shows that tobs is higher than table (5.489>1.681). The outcomes of the learning improvement in the experimental class based on the acquisition of N-Gain scores of 0.558. Based on tobs results, H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that the development of a science textbook based on Science Technology Society in elementary school is appropriate to use for learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran RAB dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran ARCS (Attention, Relevance,Confidence, Satisfaction) dan media komponen bangunan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (Action Research) model siklus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X TGB A SMK Negeri 2 Sukoharjo Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Sumber data diperoleh melalui identifikasi permasalahan yang ada dalam kelas dengan melakukan tindak pra siklus. Tahap siklus I dimulai dengan perencanaan berupa penyusunan langkah-langkah pembelajaran melalui penerapan model pembelajaran ARCS dan media komponen bangunan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi untuk tindakan siklus II dan siklus III. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan model pembelajaran ARCS dan media komponen bangunan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci : media komponen bangunan, ARCS, hasil belajar.
