Abstract

Abstract This study aims to test the average of learning outcomes of students who are taught and without being taught by using guided discovery learning model, whether or not influence influence the use of guided discovery learning model on student learning outcomes in the subject of Natural Science in Class IV Primary School Negeri 26 Pontianak Tenggara. The research method used is experimental with the form of quantitative research. The sample of this research is the students of class IV A and IV B Primary School 26 Pontianak Southeast. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques and measurement techniques. Data collection tool used is the test of student learning outcomes in the form of multiple choice amounted to 40 questions. Based on the result of the research, the average of students' learning outcomes in the control class is 73,67. While the average student learning outcomes in the experimental class of 80.94. The result of hypothesis test (t-test) using t-test separated variance obtained tcount 4,6379 and ttable (? = 5% and dk = 47) equal to 1.67945 indicate that tcount is bigger than ttable then Ha is accepted. This means that there are differences in learning outcomes between students taught by using guided discovery learning models with students taught without using guided discovery learning models. From the calculation effect size (ES), obtained 0.93 (high criteria). The guided discovery learning model gives a high influence on the students' learning outcomes in the Natural Science lesson in the fourth grade of Public Primary School 26 Pontianak Tenggara. Keywords: Learning Guided Learning Model, student learning outcomes, natural science.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the effect of the use of audio visual media on the learning outcomes of the fourth grade citizenship education in Pontianak City Elementary School 03 City. The method used is an experiment with the form of Quasi-Experimental Design design and non equivalent control group design. The population is all students from three classes totaling 93 people, the sample of this study is IVC grade students totaling 31 people as a control class and IVA class students as an experimental class totaling 32 people. Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques, data collection tools are multiple choice written tests. The results of the data obtained the average results of the post-test experimental class class 77.69 and the average post-test control 73.03. Hypothesis test results using t-test (Polled Variance) obtained t count = 2.403 while for dk (32 + 31-2 = 61) with a significant level ? = 5% obtained t table = 0.643, which means thitung> t table, then Ha is accepted, this prove there is an influence of audio visual media in learning Civic Education. Based on the results of the effect size (ES) calculation, ES = 0.43 is included in the medium criteria. Keywords: Influence, Media, Audio-Visual, Civic Education, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to describe the civics learning  outcomes by using student teams achievement division in the fifth grade public elementary school 28 South Pontianak. The method that used in this research was descriptive method with a form of classroom action research. The subject in this research were teacher and 23 students of class V. The procedure in this research consists of four step: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data collection technique that used in this research were direct observation technique and scrutiny documents. The data collection technique that used in this research were observation sheets and sheets of scrutiny documents. This research result: 1) the ability of teacher to plan learning in cycle 1, with an average score of 3,54. In cycle 2 and cycle 3 becomes 3,72 to 3,88. 2) the ability of teacher in implementing the learning in the first cycle, with an average score of 3,36, in cycle 2 to 3,61, in cycle 3 to 3,85. 3) An increase in the average learning outcomes of class V at first cycle is 68,61, the second cycle increase to 77,27 and in cycle 3 into 86,52. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Civics Learning, STAD

Abstract

AbstractThe problem of research is whether there is an increase in student learning outcomes with the use of Wordsquare model in Class IV State Elementary School 12 Pontianak City. Research aims to improve learning outcomes through the wordsquare model.The method used in this research is descriptive method in the form of Classroom Action Research, is collaborative. Data collection techniques used are the technique of direct observation and measurement by means of data collection is the Student Worksheet. Setting research with subject Teachers / Researchers and students of class IV amounted to 37 students.The results of the three cycles obtained are: 1) The ability of the teacher to plan the learning model wordsquare experienced an average increase of 0.30 with an average value of 3.7. 2) The ability of teachers to implement learning model wordsquare experienced an average increase of 0.33 with an average value of 3.63. 3) Student learning result of wordsquare model has increased the cycles 13.89 with average value 66.12.Conclusion: using wordsquare model in Civic Education learning can improve student learning outcomes.Keywords: Learning outcomes, wordsquare models, Citizenship Education.

Abstract

Abstract The problem of this research is "Is using inquiry method in Natural Science Learning can Improve Student Result of Grade IV Primary School of Serukam 07 State Element". The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of students' learning outcomes in Natural Science learning about style using inquiry method in Class IV SDN 07 Serukam.  This research method using descriptive method. The subjects are the fourth grade students of Elementary School Serukan 07 Serukan, the instruments used consist of teacher observation sheets (APKG I and II) and students (final test of IPA). The data analysis for sub-problems I and 2 uses the average formula, the sub-sequence of problem 3 using the percentage formula. The data sources are fourth grade students and teachers (researchers). The research procedure includes planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. (1); The results of the implementation of teacher's ability in science learning plan students have an increase that is on the first cycle is 56 with an average score of 3.11 and categorized "satisfy / good". (2); The results of the implementation of the teacher's ability in implementing science learning students have increased in the first cycle score of 94 with an average score of 3.35 and can be categorized as "satisfactory / good". (3); The result of science learning of students using the method of inquiry in each cycle always has an increase that is on the first cycle of classical average 66.30 with 62.96% classical learning completeness and in cycle II the average value of classical 80.74 with mastery learning classically 88.88%. The conclusion that by using inquiry method in Natural Science learning can improve the result of fourth grade students of Primary School Serukam 07. The improvement of student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II was 14.44 points with a percentage of 25.92%.Keywords: Student Learning Outcomes, Science Lesson, Inquiry Method

Abstract

ABSTRACT- The research is aimed to know level of inquiry skill of elementary school teacher candidate as this type of skill is considered as appropropriate for achieving science skill processes during teaching and learning processes in scientific knowledge. This research follows the qualitative paradigm. To achieve the research goal, the data was collected upon 30 teacher candidates by using tests, observation, questionnaires, and     interview. The obtained data were descriptively analyzed. The result shows that inquiry skill level of elementary school teacher candidate is regarded as insufficient. Key words: inquiry skill

Abstract

Kebakaran lahan merupakan bencana tahunan yang dialami Indonesia. Telah banyak upaya swadaya maupun pemerintah untuk pencegahan kebakaran hutan dan lahan. Upaya pendekatan baru yang dilakukan pemerintah dalam pencegahan kebakaran hutan dan lahan dengan mengedepankan sinergi antar lembaga dan masyarakat tingkat desa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengidentifikasi pemuka pendapat yang ada untuk mengendalikan kebakaran lahan di Desa Tanjung Peranap, (2) menganalisis peranan pemuka pendapat dalam pengendalian kebakaran lahan di Desa Tanjung Peranap. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini mengunakan wawancara mendalam. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di dalam pengendalian kebakaran lahan, pemuka pendapat yang berpartisipasi adalah kepala desa, sekretaris desa, ketua badan permusyawaratan desa, penyuluh pertanian lapangan, pemuka adat dan ketua pemuda. Dalam pelaksanaan program tersebut pemuka pendapat sangat berperan. Peranan pemuka pendapat di Desa Tanjung Peranap mulai dari menginisiasi rembuk desa untuk pembentukan MPA, bersinergi dengan pemerintah untuk mensosialisasikan program penanggulangan kebakaran lahan, mengajak masyarakat berpartisipasi aktif untuk mendukung program pemerintah dan bersama melakukan pengolahan lahan tanpa bakar

Abstract

Abstract:General problem, how to improve student learning outcomes by using scramble in learning IPS class IV SD Negeri 03 Pontianak City?. This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes by using Scramble  in Social Science lesson class IV in SD Negeri 03 Pontianak City.The purpose in this reseasch composed by planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Subject in this research is teacher and students of grade IV A, which amounts to 36 students. Data collection techniques used by direct observation techniques and document data analysis techniques with data collections tool is observation sheet and sheet ultilizatiom and analysis of document data. The research result is (1) the ability of teacher planning of lesson in cyle I is 3.58, cyle II is 3,72, cyle III is 3.88. (2) the ability of teacher in implementation lesson in cyle I is 3.55, cyle II is 3.61, cyle III is 3.83, (3) the learning outcomes of student in cyle I is 68.78, cyle II is 78.97 and cyle III is 89. So, that can be concludes there is an improve the ability in planning, implementation, and learning outcomes in Social Science lesson by model scramble. Keyword :Improve, Learning Outcomes, and Model Scramble

Abstract

Abstract The aim of this study generally was to obtain information about  the effect of problem based learning models toward Precess Science skills (IPA) at AL-Mumtaz Islamic Integrated Elementary School  Pontianak . The method used in this research is the experimental method. The experimental research design in this study is Pre-experimental Design. The type of  it is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample in this study were all students of fiveth grade B elementary school. According data analyzed has been obtained the average of student post-test is 74.228. From data analyzed t-test has been yield  tcount  equal 10.313 and  ttable = 7.815. It means that 10.313 >7.185. In other words tcount >  ttable. The result indicated that Ho  rejected and Ha accepted. Then, according the calculation of  the effect size (ES) has obtained 0,992 in the criteria is high to the part of the way ES > 0.8. It can be concluded that there is significant effect in using of problem based learning models toward Science Process Skills of the student elementary school fiveth grade.  Key Words : Problem Based Learning and Science Process Skills

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan kemampuan inkuiri dan sikap mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar yang merupakan bagian dari tahapan penelitian disertasi. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah perkembangan kemampuan inkuiri dan sikap mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran pada konsep IPBA? Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui  observasi kelas, kuesioner, dan wawncara. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan bantuan statistik deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Februari  s.d April 2011 yang melibatkan 2 dosen IPA dan 30 mahasiswa S1 PGSD semester IV. Materi yang dibahas mencakup: atmosfer, batuan dan mineral, bentuk dan gerakan matahari?bumi?bulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kemampuan inkuiri mahasiswa dari setiap aspek meliputi:  merumuskan masalah (66,7%), membuat hipotesis (66,7%), merancang penyelidikan ilmiah (59,3%), menggunakan alat dan teknik yang tepat (61,3%), menginterpretasi data  (66,7%), mengkomunikasikan prosedur dan hasil penyelidikan ilmiah (57,3%), dan menggunakan matematika dalam penyelidikan ilmiah (52,7%). (2) Sikap mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran dari setiap aspek menunjukkan: persiapan penelitian (83,3%), langkah kerja (78,6%), afektif (70,8%), kegiatan akhir (55,5%). Kata kunci : kemampuan inkuiri, sikap, ilmu pengetahuan bumi antariksa, calon guru sekolah dasar.
