Abstract

Tahun 2011 Desa Trikoyo memperoleh bantuan sosial bidang kesehatan, salah satu alokasi dana untuk pembuatan jamban. Terdapat 14 unit jamban yang tersebar tiap RT, tiap jamban digunakan untuk 10-15 rumah yang belum punya jamban. Sampai sekarang pemanfaatan jamban belum maksimal yaitu 64% atau 6-7 rumah yang menggunakan jamban proyek, yang lainnya belum mau menggunakan. Akibatnya j mban kotor dan bau, bak penampungan air sering kosong dan masih ada masyarakat yang buang air besar di sawah seperti sebelum ada jamban. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Tehnik pengumpulan data dengan FGD dan indepth interview. Hasil analisis peran masyarakat desa Trikoyo dengan adanya jamban proyek sudah berjalan, diantaranya pertemuan tingkat desa, survei mawas diri, musyawarah masyarakat desa, pelatihan kader, pelaksanaan upaya kesehatan oleh masyarakat dan pembinaan. Pemecahan masalah dalam musyawarah masyarakat desa tidak sesuai dengan prioritas masalah, karena dana yang disediakan dari pemerintah untuk tiga program yaitu jamban proyek, PMT dan PSN. Praktik masyarakat dalam penggunaan jamban proyek belum berhasil, karena masih ada masyarakat yang BAB di kebun dan di sawah. Peran serta masyarakat dalam penggunaan jamban proyek di desa Trikoyo dilihat dari tiga komponen yaitu pengetahuan, sosial budaya dan peran serta masyarakat. Praktik masyarakat dalam penggunaan jamban proyek dilihat dari dua komponen yaitu lingkungan dan perilaku masyarakat.

Abstract

This is aimed todeterminethe effect of 2,4-D and BAP onshoot regeneration of peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) Kelinci variety. This research was conducted in tissue culture laboratory of BBI-PPH Narmada. Competely randomized design (CDR) was applied on this rescarch which involved 2 factorial concentration of (0-4 mg/L) 2,4-D and (0-2 mg/L) BAP for both shoot regeneration on MS medium speed of the emerging shoots, number of shoots, theroots appear, and the amount ofroots. Statistical analysis showed that 2,4-D and BAP affect the speed of the emerging shoots, number of shoots, rootsand the number of days appear roots, and there is the effect of the combination of 2,4-D and BAP. Fastest emerging shoots obtained on MS medium with the addition of 2mg/LBAP with an average of 90.33days and the highest number of shoots contained on MS medium with the addition of 1mg/LBAP with an average of 4.33 shoots. While the earliest root formation was found on MS medium with the addition of 1mg/L2,4-D.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik tanah salin di Kemukiman Krueng Raya. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tiga pedon yang dipilih berdasarkan perbedaan vegetasi yang tumbuh di atasnya (bakau, nipah dan semak halophyta). Di lapangan diamati sifat-sifat morfologinya, kemudian diambil bahan tanahnya dari setiap horison dan dianalisis sifat fisika, kimia, dan mineraloginya di laboratorium. Pada semua horison di pedon IR1 bertekstur liat, pada pedon IR2 tekstur di horison Bt lempung liat berpasir, sedangkan pada pedon IR3 horison Bt1 bertekstur lempung. Reaksi tanah (pH) berbanding lurus dengan kejenuhan basa (KB), pada semua horison mempunyai nilai yang tinggi KB dan pH kecuali pada pedon IR1 horison AB. Selain itu mempunyai pH, daya hantar listrik (DHL), nisbah Na terjerap (SAR) yang tinggi yang merupakan penciri daerah salin. Asam-asam dapat ditukar hanya terdapat pada pedon IR1 horison BA yaitu berupa kation hidrogen 1,76 cmol(+) kg-1 dan alumnium 1,44 cmol(+) kg_1, disebabkan horison tersebut pH-nya rendah (5.00) dan mengandung liat masam. Semua pedon mempunyai mineral mudah lapuk yang tinggi (> 10%), Hal ini menunjukkan tanah belum tua dan kesuburannya cukup baik, namun terdapat faktor-faktor penghambat yaitu kejenuhan Na, SAR, dan DHL yang tinggi. Setiap pedon didominasi oleh mineral smektit serta sedikit kaolinit, illit, kuarsa, dan klorit.Characteristics of Krueng Raya Salin soils at Subdistrict Mesjid Raya Aceh BesarAbstract. This research aimed to investigate the characteristics of saline soil in Kemukiman Krueng Raya. This research was conducted in three selected pedon based on difference of vegetation which is growing on it (mangroves, palm and halophyta shrub). Morphology properties observed in the field, then the soil material taken from each horizon and soil physical, chemical, and mineralogy were analyzed in the laboratory. In all IR1 pedon of horizons has clay texture, on IR2 pedon of Bt horizon has sandy clay loam texture, whereas on IR3 pedon of Bt1 horizon has clay texture. Soil reaction (pH) is proportional to the base saturation (BS), in all of horizons have high BS and pH values except on IR1 pedon of AB horizon. Besides, it has high value of pH, electrical conductivity (EC), and the sodium adsorption ratio (SAR), which is the identifier of saline areas. The exchangeable acids only on pedon IR1 of BA horizon that is hydrogen cation 1.76 cmol (+) kg-1 and aluminium 1.44 cmol (+) kg-1, because of the horizon is low of pH (5.00) and contain of acid clay. All of pedon has high easily weathered minerals (> 10%). This is indicate that  the soil has not aged yet and its fertility still quite well, but there are limiting factors that is high of Na saturation, SAR, and DHL. Each pedon dominated by smectite minerals and a little of kaolinite, illite, quartz, and chlorite.

Abstract

This study investigated the English students’ attitudes of IAIN Padangsidimpuan towards both English language teaching in terms of (a) language-centered, (b) learner-centered, and (c) learning-centered method; and learning English in terms of scales (a) attitudes toward long-term English learning, (b) interest in culture and communication, (c) perception about studying in school context, (d) images associated with English, (e) English learning activities, (f) exposure to English outside school, (g) self-rated four English skills, (h) self-reported academic English grade, and (i) identification of English role models. The data were obtained by questionnaire and interview from 10 selected students in which 4 male and 6 female students in 7th semester and were analyzed by steps provided by Gay, L.R and Airasian (1996). The result showed:  first, English students’ attitudes towards English language teaching had been found highly onlearning-centered method, followed by learner-centered method in second range, and almost negative view in language-centered method.Second, English students’ attitudes towards English language learningwere positivein scales; long-term English learning, interest in communication, and images associated with English.  Third, role of students’ gender on English language learning were not found. Reasons for this statement are (i) status of English as international language and (ii) equalization of getting education for male and female. Abstract

The problem that happened in MTs NW Darussholihin Wassyakirin is creative thinking skill and cognitive learning result of student is still less satisfactory, proved by the value of MID semester under KKM (Criteria Completed Minimal). This is because the learning process is not effective because the use of methods or learning models that are not effective. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of CPS (Creative Problem Solving) model of creative thinking skill and students' cognitive learning outcomes. This type of research is quasi experimental research with pretest postest control group design research design. The instrument used in this research is the observation sheet of learning implementation (RPP), test of creative thinking skill and test of cognitive learning result of the students. Data collection techniques are observations and tests, while data analysis techniques are descriptive and t-test. The results showed that the data presentation of creative thinking skills of students in the experimental class is 85.33 with very high category while the result of cognitive learning posstest students get the average value in the experimental class that is 80.83 and the control class is 78.67. The result of study posttest showed that the average learning result of the students in the experimental class and the control class were 86 and 76. Based on the t-test analysis with separated variance formula with 5% significant, student learning result obtained tcount of 2,581 and ttable value of 2.048, means tcount is greater than ttable value (2.581 > 2.048) so that (Ho) is rejected (Ha) accepted. Based on these results can be concluded that the model of learning CPS (Creative Problem Solving) effect on student cognitive learning outcomes, and average creative thinking skills achieve high categories.

Abstract

The formulation the problem asked in this study is “is there any significant influence of cooperative TGT learning model towards students’ critical thinking ability?” Meanwhile, this research is aimed to know whether or not there is any significant influence of cooperative TGT learning model towards students’ critical thinking ability.  The type of the research in this study is experimental research in which the researcher uses nonequivalent control group design. The population of the study is the whole number of the VII grade students of SMPN SATAP 1 Wanasaba. The researcher takes the two classes as the sample of the study; those two classes are VIIA as the experimental group and the VIIB as the control group of the study. The result of data analysis in this study show the result that the result gained by the students before having the treatment is lower than students’ score after having the treatment. The result of t-calculation shows that the t-test is 0.678 and the value of t-table at the significance level 5% is 1.679. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be inferred that the t-test is higher than the value of t-table which means that the alternative hypothesis is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected. Thus, the study concluded that there is any significant influence of cooperative TGT learning model towards students’ critical thinking ability.

Abstract

Implementation of biology learning in class VIIIB SMPN 3 Batukliang North 2016/2017 academic year experiencing problems caused by the learning process is not effective because of the use of ineffective learning model. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of learning model Reciprocal Teaching with Example Non Example Technique to activity and result of cognitive learning of student on subject matter of various system in human life of class VIIIB SMPN 3 Batukliang Utara. Instruments used in this research are observation sheets for student learning activities and tests for students' cognitive learning outcomes. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning activity, for the average of student learning activity in the control class of 2.9 which included in the category is quite active, while for the experimental class of 3.5 with the active category. The result of post-test of cognitive learning of students get the average value in the experimental class is 85.8 and the control class is 80. The t-test analysis at the significance level of 5% obtained tcount of 3.12 while the ttable value with dk = 54 of 2, 05. This means that the tcount is greater than the ttable value (3.12> 2.05). Thus it can be concluded that there is influence of learning model Reciprocal Teaching with Example Non Example Technique to student cognitive learning result.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of practicum based direct learning models on science process skills and students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with Pretest-posttest Control Group Design. Sampling technique using Cluster Random Sampling. The sample in this study were students of class XI IPA 4 as the experimental class and XI IPA 3 as the control class. The research instrument used in the form of learning implementation observation sheets, observation sheets of science process skills and tests of students' critical thinking skills. The data obtained were analyzed using t-test. The results of the data analysis show that the implementation of learning in both classes reaches very good categories. Data analysis of students 'science process skills shows that students' science process skills differ. Students' critical thinking ability in the experimental class using practicum based direct learning models is higher than the control class. The average students' critical thinking skills in the experimental class reached 73.5 and control class 58.6. Hypothesis test analysis using t-test is known that tcount is greater than ttable (3.45 > 2.04), therefore the hypothesis is accepted. Based on the results of these studies it can be concluded that the practicum based direct learning model influences students 'critical thinking skills and students' average process science skills reach good categories.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: In general, this study aims to determine the effect of concentration of NAA and Kinetin the number of shoots and roots in chrysanthemum plants in vitro. The explants were used chrysanthemum sterile. The background of this research is the growing demand for chrysanthemums from year to year as an ornamental and medicinal materials. The research is a scheme would experiment with completely randomized (CRD) with three replications. The medium used was MS medium with added plant growth regulators NAA at a concentration of (0-3) mg / L and the concentration of Kinetin (0-3) mg / L. The parameters in this study is the number of shoots and roots. Data were analyzed using ANOVA two-lane data obtained when normal and homogeneous, when the F test results were significantly different (significantly) conducted a further test by test Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) at the 5% significance level. Using the Kruskal-Wallis test if the data obtained is not normal and is not homogeneous, when the F test results were significantly different (significantly) conducted a further test with Mann-Whitney test at a significance level of 5% and using descriptive if the data obtained are not eligible to be tested parametric and non-parametric. Outcomes of this study are: (1) article published in the journal ISSN.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the Achievement of Quality Assurance (QA) in SMPS IT Darul Fikri Arga Makmur so that schools can deliver students to QA. To achieve this goal, researchers apply Total Quality Management (TQM) Teamwork model. In conducting this research, researchers conducted a School Action Research (PTS) using a procedure developed by Kemmis and Togart consisting of planning, execution, observation and evaluation repeatedly.The results of this study succeeded well, there has been an increase in the percentage of QA achievement starting from 60 %, increased to 65% and last 73%, although not yet achieved ideal conditions of success of 85% .In particular, the success was due to 1) the seriousness to take corrective action against the results obtained, and 2) cooperation of all parties (management, and learners). Thus the implementation of TQM Teamwork techniques can be recommended to achieve Quality Assurance (QA) in SMPIT Darul Fikri Arga Makmur can be implemented in schools that have Quality Assurance (QA).
