Abstract

Abstract: The Effect of Problem Solving Based Worksheet to Improve Creative Thinking Skills Students. This research aims to describe the effect of using problem solving based worksheet to improve students creative thinking skills in electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution topic. This research uses quasi experiment method with Non-Equivalent Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this research was class X Senior high school N 13 Bandarlampung. The sampel used was cluster random sampling, the class X MIPA 1 was the experimental class and X MIPA 5 was the control class. To prove the students worksheet based on problem solving is influential in improving students creative thinking skills, then a measure of influence effect size. The result of data analysis showed that students creative thinking skills had a large influence on the experimental class compared to the control class. Based on the results of the research it can be concluded that problem solving based worksheet has large influence in improving students creative thinking skills in electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution topic.Keywords: problem solving based student worksheet, creative thinking skills, electrolyte and non-elektrolyte solution. Abstrak: Pengaruh LKS Berbasis Problem Solving untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kreatif Siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh LKS berbasis Problem Solving untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperiment dengan desain Non-Equivalent Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 13 Bandarlampung. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling, diperoleh kelas X MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X MIPA 5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Untuk membuktikan LKS berbasis problem solving berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa maka dilakukan uji pengaruh (Effect Size). Hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa berpengaruh besar pada kelas eksperimen dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKS berbasis problem solving memiliki pengaruh besar dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit.Kata kunci: LKS berbasis problem solving, keterampilan berpikir kreatif, larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v19i1.pp25-36

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the application of student worksheets based discovery learning to increase concept mastery student in the experimental class 1 and class 2 experiments.  The method used is pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design to look at the increase in the value pretest and posttest in each class experiment.  The results showed that through learning using student worksheets based discovery learning can improve students mastery of concepts with high category in the experimental class 1 and class 2 experiments with each N-gain of 0.72 and 0.71. Keywords: discovery learning, worksheet, concept mastery. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan students? worksheet berbasis discovery learning terhadap peningkatan penguasaan konsep siswa pada kelas eksperimen 1 dan kelas eksperimen 2. Abstract

Abstract: Effectiveness of Pre-Lecture Quiz to Improving the Creative Thinking. This research was aimed to describe the effectiveness of Pre-Lecture Quiz to improving student?s creativity thinking skill on Arrhenius acid-base topic. The research method used was quasi experimental with non-equivalen pretest-postest control group design. The sample selection was done by cluster random sampling, obtained XI IPA 3 as experimental class and XI IPA 6 as control class. The effectiveness of Pre-Lecture Quiz was showed by the significant difference for average n-Gain of flexible thinking skill between the experiment and control class, for experiment class was 0.70 with high categorize and for control class was 0.48 with middle cateogorize. The conclusion of this research is effective Pre-Lecture Quiz and has a high effect size to improving the ability of creative thinking on Arrhenius acid-base topic.Keywords: creative thinking, Pre-Lecture Quiz, Arrhenius acid-base Abstrak: Efektivitas Pre-Lecture Quiz untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kreatif Siswa. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan secara cluster random sampling, diperoleh kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI IPA 6 sebagai kelas kontrol. Efektivitas Pre-Lecture Quiz ditunjukkan oleh perbedaan rata-rata n-Gain keterampilan berpikir kreatif yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, yaitu kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,70 dengan kategori ?tinggi? dan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,48 dengan kategori ?sedang?. Abstract

Abstract: The Effect of Problem Solving Based Worksheet to Improve Students Critical Thinking Skill. This research aims to describe the effect of using problem solving based worksheet to improve students critical thinking skills. The research design used is non equivalence pretest-posttest control group design. The sample of this research were students in class X MIPA 2 as control class and X MIPA 3 as experiment class, which were selected by cluster random sampling. The research data consisting of the values of pretest, posttest and n-Gain. The effect of worksheet to improve students critical thinking skill is calculated using the effect test formula. The results of data analysis and calculations show that worksheets applied to the experimental class have a greater effect than the control class. Therefor, it can be concluded that problem solving based worksheet has been taken effect to  improve students critical thinking skills. Keyword: problem solving based student worksheet, critical thinking, electrolyte and non-elektrolyte solution.Abstrak: Pengaruh LKS Berbasis Problem Solving untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengaruh LKS berbasis problem solving untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah non eqivalence pretes-postes control group design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol dan X MIPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen, yang dipilih secara cluster random sampling. Data penelitian terdiri dari nilai pretes, postes dan n-Gain. Besarnya pengaruh LKS untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dihitung menggunakan rumus uji pengaruh (effect size). Hasil analisis data dan perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa LKS yang diterapkan pada kelas eksperimen memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Abstract

The quasi-experiment research about the problem-solving models aimed to know in increased understandingArgentometric students. The research was conducted at FKIP Unila by using non-equivalent control group design. The sample of this research was students of students P.S. P. Chemistry of FKIP Unila for 2011/2012 academic year. The result of this research showed that the average n-Gain in the A class was 0.33 and in the B class was 0.45. Therefore, it was concluded that learning withproblem-solving model in increasing understanding students Argentometry.Keywords: Understanding on Argentometric, Problem Solving ModelPenelitian kuasi eksperimen tentang model pembelajaran problem solving ini, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman Argentometri mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di FKIP Unila dengan menggunakan desain Non-Equivalent Control Group. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa P. S. Pendidikan Kimia, FKIP Unila, tahun akademik 2011/2012. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata n-Gain kelas A sebesar 0,55 dan kelas B sebesar 0,30. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model problem solving dapat meningkatkan pemahaman Argentometri mahasiswa.Kata kunci: pemahaman argentometri, model problem solving

Abstract

The purpose was to describe the, effectiveness of problem solving to improve learning motivation and concept mastery on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution topic.  This research was conducted at MAN Pringsewu used kuasi esperimental method with Equivalent (pretest-posttest) control group design.  The sample was obtained by purposive sampling technique, it was obtained sample was the X MIA 2 as Experimental class and X MIA 4 as control class.  Effectiveness was evidenced by improvement of the improve learning motivation and concept mastery students? used t-test and effect size test. The result of this research shown that student activity is very high, teacher ability is high, the improve learning motivation and concept mastery students is high and effect size had large criteria.  Based on them, problem solving was effective and had big effect size to improve of the improve learning motivation and concept mastery students on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution topic.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan pembelajaran problem solving dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan penguasaan konsep siswa pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan di salah satu MAN Pringsewu menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan Non Equivalent (Pretest-posttest) control group design.  Sampel diperoleh melalui teknik purposive sampling diperoleh sampel yaitu kelas X MIA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X MIA 4 sebagai kelas kontrol.  Keefektivan dibuktikan dari peningkatan motivasi belajar dan penguasaan konsep siswa yang menggunakan uji-t serta didukung oleh kemampuan guru dan uji ukuran pengaruh.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata aktivitas siswa sangat tinggi, kemampuan guru selama pembelajaran tinggi, motivasi belajar dan penguasaan konsep siswa tinggi serta ukuran pengaruh yang besar.  Berdasarkan hal tersebut, model problem solving efektif dan memiliki ukuran pengaruh yang besar dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan penguasaan konsep siswa pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit.Kata Kunci: motivasi belajar, penguasaan konsep, problem solving.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to know effectiveness of problem solving learning in improving skill induct and considerate induction result . Population was 360 students of Grade X State Senior High School 12 in Bandar Lampung. Samples were X1 and X3 classroom. Every class has 38 students that have equal academic abilities. This was a quasi experiment research using non equivalent control group design. Effectiveness of problem solving learning was measured based on significant n-Gain improvements of showing the general thing and making conclution and hypotesis skill. The both are subindicator of  induction and considerate induction result. The results showed that average value of n-Gain of showing the general thing skill in experiment and control classrooms were 0.4 and 0.28 respectively; and average value of n-Gain for making conclution and hypotesis in experiment and control classrooms were 0.36 and 0.20 respectively. The result showed that classroom that used problem solving had higher induct and considerate result induction skill than classroom with conventional learning. This indicated that problem solving learning was effective to improve student?s induction and considerate induction result skill mastery of the concept at basic laws of chemistry.Keywords: Problem Solving, induction and considerate induction result skill

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the skills of classifying and inferring on colloidal material with application of guided inquiry learning model for high, medium, and low cognitive groups students. The subjects were XI Science 2 of Swadhipa Natar South Lampung 2012/2013. This research was pre-experimental research design with one-shot case study. It used descriptive analysis. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the student?s skill in classifying, in high group, 62,5% was excellent; and 37,5% good. In medium group, 20,0% was excellent; 60,0% good; and 20,0% enough. In the low group, 22,2% was good; and 77,7% was enough. For the student?s skill of inferring, in high group, 75,0% was excellent; and 25,0% good. In medium group, 26,6% excellent; 40% good; and 33,3% enough. In the low group, 33,3% good; and 66,6% enough.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan mengelompokkan dan inferensi pada materi koloid dengan model pembelajaran inkuri terbimbing untuk siswa kelompok kognitif tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Subyek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XI IPA2 SMA Swadhipa Natar Lampung Selatan tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian ini merupakan pre-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one-shot case study. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan keterampilan siswa mengelompokkan, kelompok tinggi 62,5% siswa berkriteria sangat baik; dan 37,5% baik. Kelompok sedang ada 20,0% berkriteria sangat baik; 60,0% baik; dan 20,0% cukup. Kelompok rendah 22,2% berkriteria baik; dan 77,7% cukup. Abstract

This research aimed to describe the effectiveness of NHT learning model to increase the students concept in the chemical bonds topic. This research used quasi experiment method with non-equivalent (pretest-posttest) control group design. Population of this research was students of the 10th grade in SMA Tri Sukses Natar on 2012/2013 academic year. This research used two classes as sample where they were taken by using purposive sampling. The results showed that the average of n-Gain of students concept in experimental and control class were 0.58 and 0.49, respectively. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, NHT learning model was effective to increase students concept in the chemical bonds topic.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas model pembelajaran NHT dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep siswa materi ikatan kimia. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuasi eksperimen non equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Tri Sukses Natar tahun ajaran 2012 /2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 kelas sebagai sampel dimana sampel tersebut ditentukan menggunakan purposive sampling. Abstract

This research was aimed to describe the effectiveness of discovery learning model to increase student?s originality thinking skills on acid-base subject matter. The population of this research was all students grade XI in science class of SMA Negeri 1 Pagelaran at second semester of academic year 2013-2014 with class of XI IPA 1 dan XI IPA 2 as sample. The method of the research was quasi experimental with Non Equivalent (Pretest-Postest) Control Group Design. The sample were taken by purposive sampling technique. The effectiveness of discovery learning model was showed by the significant difference of n-Gain between control and experiment class. The result showed that the average n-Gain score for control class and experiment class respectively 0,34 and 0,45.
