Abstract

This paper discusses about developing characteristics of being a citizen. The aim of this paper is to develop personality of citizens who are fully participating, competent, responsible, and having commitment to the values and objectives of the state in accordance with the vision of Indonesia in 2025. This can be done by developing a national perspective, which is fostering a sense of nationality through the study of civics education learning, the actualization of nationality through civics curriculum changes, and actualization of national spirit through the development of civics education materials.

Abstract

Semantic mapping is introduced as a vocabulary presentation technique. The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of using semantic mapping indeveloping students’ vocabulary to the second year students’ of SMPN 9 Mataram in Academic year 2014/2015. The population of the study was the second year students of SMPN 9 Mataram, there are six classes and every class consist of 26 students’, so, the total number of the population were 180 students, and the researcher only took one class is VIII A, with consist of 26 students.This study is kind of pre-experimental in research designed pretest-posttest group, using a measurement technique in form of multiple choicesand semantic mapping which consist of 30 test items. Based on the data analysis the mean score of pre-test 39, qualifying “POOR” and mean score ofpost-test88 qualifying average to “GOOD”, and the result of t -test that is 45,6. Based on the distribution t-table with db=26, the research showed the distribution t-table was 99 % trust interval and level of significant 1%. And the result confirmed that the using of semantic mappingtechnique in teaching vocabulary at the eight class students is effective in increasing student’s vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

The experiment was conducted in Talang Inuman Teratai Urban Village, Muara Bulian Sub-District, Batang Hari Jambi Regency, with a height of 12 meters above sea level. The study aims to obtain Biolan 2 with the best dose that gives results in long bean plants. The experimental design used was Randomized Block Design (RAK) with six treatments consisting of N0: 0 liter /ha without fertilizer application Biolan 2, N1: 2 liters / ha of Biolan 2 fertilizer, N2: 4 liters / ha of Biolan 2 fertilizer, N3: 6 Liters / ha of Biolan 2 fertilizer, N4: 8 liters / ha of Biolan 2 fertilizer and N5: 10 liters / ha of Biolan 2 fertilizer. Each treatment was repeated four times with so many plot experiments 24 plots. For observations randomly taken 3 plants plot as sample. The observed components include pod length, number of pods, weight of pod and yield / ha. From the result of the research, Biolan 2 with dose 6 liters / ha has significant effect on the number of pods, weight of pod and yield per hectare but no effect on the administration of Biolan 2 with a dose of 8 liters / ha which gives the highest pod length.

Abstract

This research was carried out on the farm land of the PLN Diklat Complex in Timbangan Village, Indralaya Utara Subdistrict, Ogan Ilir District, which ran from January to April 2018. The design used was Factorial Randomized Block Design. The main factor is the type of manure consisting of chicken manure (P1) and cow manure (P2). The second factor is that the manure dosage consists of without manure (D0), a dose of 10 tons / ha (D1), a dose of 20 tons / ha (D2) and a dose of 30 tons / ha (D3). Based on the number of treatments tested, there are 2 x 4 = 8 combinations of treatments. Each treatment was repeated three times (8 x 3) so that there were 24 experimental units. Observation of weeds is calculated by SDR (Summed Dominance Ratio), which is an important value divided by its forming parameters with the formula: KN + FN + DN / 3. The variables observed included the identification of weeds and the number of species of weeds. The results showed that weed species that dominated for each treatment were the same, and the highest weed dry weight was found in the treatment of chicken manure (P1). The types of weeds that dominated at the beginning of the observation were Digitaria cilliaris, Eleusine indica, Cyperus rotundus and Hedyotis corymbosa. Types of weeds that dominate the observations of age 30 and age 70 HST are Cyperus rotundus, Digitaria cilliaris, Elusine indica and Richardia brasiliensis.?Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan petani Komplek PLN Diklat Desa Timbangan? Kecamatan Indralaya Utara Kabupaten Ogan Ilir yang berlangsung dari bulan Januari? hingga? April 2018. Rancangan yang digunakan? adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial. Faktor pertama yaitu jenis pupuk kandang terdiri dari pupuk kandang kotoran ayam (P1) dan pupuk kandang kotoran sapi (P2). Faktor kedua yaitu dosis pupuk kandang ?terdiri dari tanpa pupuk kandang (D0), dosis 10 ton/ha (D1) ,dosis 20 ton/ha (D2) dan dosis 30 ton/ha (D3). Berdasarkan jumlah perlakuan yang dicobakan maka terdapat 2 x 4 = 8 kombinasi perlakuan. Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak tiga kali (8 x 3) sehingga terdapat 24 unit percobaan.? Pengamatan gulma dilakukan perhitungan SDR (Summed Dominance Ratio), yaitu nilai penting dibagi dengan parameter pembentuknya dengan rumus : KN + FN + DN/3. Peubah yang diamati meliputi identifikasi gulma dan jumlah jenis gulma. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Jenis gulma yang mendominasi untuk setiap perlakuan sama, dan berat kering gulma terbanyak terdapat pada perlakuan pupuk kandang ayam (P1). Jenis gulma yang mendominasi pada awal pengamatan adalah Digataria cilliaris, Eleusine indica, Cyperus rotundus dan Hedyotis corymbosa. Jenis gulma yang mendominasi pada pengamatan umur 30 dan umur 70 HST adalah Cyperus rotundus, Digataria cilliaris, Elusine indica ?dan ?Richardia brasiliensis.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran VCT media video pembelajaran berbantuan jenis analisis nilai memiliki efek pada penguasaan kompetensi dasar menghargai sikap toleran di berbagai kelompok etnis, agama, ras, budaya, dan jenis kelamin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain posttest-only. Populasi penelitian siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri Mojolaban dan sampel sebanyak 32 siswa kelas VII D sebagai kelas kontrol dan 32 siswa kelas VII C sebagai kelas eksperimen. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi, analisis isi, dan kuesioner. Analisis data prasyarat menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai t hitung adalah 2,273 pada tingkat signifikansi 5% dengan dk = n1 + n2 - 2 (32 + 32 - 2 = 62 sehingga nilai dari tabel t adalah 1,999 (interpolasi). Nilai t-hitung = 2,273 > t- tabel = 1,999 dan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen = 122,75 lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol = 116,25.Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran VCT media video pembelajaran berbantuan jenis analisis nilai memiliki efek pada penguasaan kompetensi dasar.

Abstract

 Interfaith dialog is commonly carried out to harmonize the relationship and minimize conflicts between religious believers. This study examines how the functional structure of an interfaith community and beliefs can create harmonious interfaith relationship through an interfaith dialog held in Kudus, Central Java. This study is designed with qualitative research model by applying the phenomenological approach. The data were technically collected through interviews, observation, document studies and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Theoretically, this study used Talcott Parsons? structural functional theory. The results showed that the Interfaith and Interbelief Communities of Pantura (TALI AKRAP) is a system in society where the religious adherents and the flow of beliefs are the integrated elements, each of which should function one another in creating a balance in society. As a system, TALI AKRAP holds four imperative functions which are simultaneously integrated in action systems, namely adaptation, goal attention, integration and learn pattern maintenance or commonly abbreviated AGIL. The existence of adaptation between religious adherents in the community aims to understand, recognize and accept one another as an effort to realize the harmony among religious believers. The goal to be achieved is a community with concern, tolerance, lives side by side and accepts differences as a gift from the God Almighty, all of which are integrated in social dialog activities between religious believers which exist for a long time and are carried out continuously.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan dengan metode active learning dapat meningkatkan minat mahasiswa semester II prodi P. Biologi FKIP UNS tahun ajaran 2008/2009. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa pada pada siklus I prosentase rata-rata nilai kognitifnya 73,45% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 84,60%, sedangkan nilai afektif yaitu perhatian mahasiswa pada saat pembelajaran yang diperoleh dari hasil pengisian angket perhatian mahasiswa pada siklus I yaitu 61,72% dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 83, 80%. Terjadinya peningkatan ini dipengaruhi oleh penerapan metode active learning. Penggunaan metode ini membuat mahasiswa lebih tinggi tingkat pengetahuan dan pemahaman terhadap materi pembelajaran atau materi kuliah karena mahasiswa diwajibkan untuk mencari materi dari berbagai sumber belajar, melakukan diskusi partisipatif dan juga dituntut untuk rnemberikan penilaian, penerimaan, dan penanggapan terhadap pendapat mahasiswa lain. Proses pembelajaran dengan menerapkan metode active learning pada siklus I dan siklus II juga mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada prosentase rata-rata kelas tiap siklus yaitu sebagai berikut: hasil pengisian angket afektif minat belajar mahasiswa siklus I 65,50% dan siklus II 85,30%, untuk tes evaluasi siklus I 77,20% dan siklus II 86,75%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji pengaruh media pembelajaran film dokudrama terhadap minat belajar siswa pada kompetensi dasar mendeskripsikan sistem pemerintahan Indonesia dan peran lembaga negara sebagai pelaksana kedaulatan rakyat. Desain yang di-gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah true experimental design dengan menggunakan bentuk posttestonly control design. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara cluster random sampling Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan metode angket, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Uji persyaratan analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas, sedangkan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji T-test. Hasil perhitungan pengujian hipotesis diperoleh thitung sebesar 5,864 dengan taraf signifikansi 5% dan dk = n1 + n2 ? 2 (30 + 30  ? 2 = 58 ), sehingga diperoleh ttabel sebesar 2,002 (interpolasi). Maka thitung (5,864) >  ttabel(2,002) dan skor rata-rata kelas eksperimen sebesar 83,22 lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol sebesar 76,64. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa  terdapat pengaruh media pembelajaran film dokudrama terhadap minat belajar siswa pada kom-petensi dasar mendeskripsikan sistem pemerintahan Indonesia dan peran lembaga negara sebagai pelaksana kedaulatan rakyat.
