Abstract

Abstract This study aims to test the average of learning outcomes of students who are taught and without being taught by using guided discovery learning model, whether or not influence influence the use of guided discovery learning model on student learning outcomes in the subject of Natural Science in Class IV Primary School Negeri 26 Pontianak Tenggara. The research method used is experimental with the form of quantitative research. The sample of this research is the students of class IV A and IV B Primary School 26 Pontianak Southeast. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques and measurement techniques. Data collection tool used is the test of student learning outcomes in the form of multiple choice amounted to 40 questions. Based on the result of the research, the average of students' learning outcomes in the control class is 73,67. While the average student learning outcomes in the experimental class of 80.94. The result of hypothesis test (t-test) using t-test separated variance obtained tcount 4,6379 and ttable (? = 5% and dk = 47) equal to 1.67945 indicate that tcount is bigger than ttable then Ha is accepted. This means that there are differences in learning outcomes between students taught by using guided discovery learning models with students taught without using guided discovery learning models. From the calculation effect size (ES), obtained 0.93 (high criteria). The guided discovery learning model gives a high influence on the students' learning outcomes in the Natural Science lesson in the fourth grade of Public Primary School 26 Pontianak Tenggara. Keywords: Learning Guided Learning Model, student learning outcomes, natural science.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the effect of the use of audio visual media on the learning outcomes of the fourth grade citizenship education in Pontianak City Elementary School 03 City. The method used is an experiment with the form of Quasi-Experimental Design design and non equivalent control group design. The population is all students from three classes totaling 93 people, the sample of this study is IVC grade students totaling 31 people as a control class and IVA class students as an experimental class totaling 32 people. Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques, data collection tools are multiple choice written tests. The results of the data obtained the average results of the post-test experimental class class 77.69 and the average post-test control 73.03. Hypothesis test results using t-test (Polled Variance) obtained t count = 2.403 while for dk (32 + 31-2 = 61) with a significant level ? = 5% obtained t table = 0.643, which means thitung> t table, then Ha is accepted, this prove there is an influence of audio visual media in learning Civic Education. Based on the results of the effect size (ES) calculation, ES = 0.43 is included in the medium criteria. Keywords: Influence, Media, Audio-Visual, Civic Education, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractTop of FormThe research problem is "Is there a relationship between learning motivation and self efficacy with the acquisition of IPS learners of class VI in MIS Darussalam Sungai Kunyit"? Research variables consisted of independent variables (X1) learning motivation, self efficacy (X2) and dependent variables (Y) acquired Social Science (IPS). The purpose of this study was to describe the magnitude of the combined contribution of learning motivation, self efficacy, and learning achievement. The method used was quantitative descriptive method. with the Product Moment correlation statistical technique with the help of the SPSS 17 Program. The study was conducted in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Private Darussalam. The population is 12 learners. Technique of data collection: questionnaire and IPS value document. The results showed that self motivation and efficacy had correlation correlation (R) equal to 0,849 equal to 80% consisting of 49% study motivation and 31% self efficacy. This means that the combined contribution (together) of study motivation, the self-efficacy of the learners with the acquisition of IPS learners shows a significant relationship. Keywords : Learning achievement, Learning motivation, and Self-esteem

Abstract

 AbstractThis research was conducted based on the question of how authentic assessment implemented in thematic learning for public primary schools. It was aimed at describing the knowledge of teachers and principals about the implementation of authentic assessment in thematic learning at public primary schools. This research was a qualitative descriptive one with its subject of: teachers, students, and principals.  The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The data were analyzed by reduction, presentation, and conclusion, preceded by the technique of triangulation data validity checking. The results of the research: 1) the teachers and principals comprehended authentic assessment in thematic learning; 2) the teachers performed authentic assessment in thematic learning by focusing on attitude competency, knowledge, and skill through integrated assessment. Assessment on the students? attitude was done through observation techniques, self-assessment, and peer assessment. The knowledge assessment was done through written test and assignments, while the skill assessment was performed through performance assessment techniques and portfolio assessment.Key words : authentical assessment, thematics learning

Abstract

AbstractThis research purpose is to know the influence of applying role playing methode assisted by comics in learning Citizenship Education to the learning result of third grade students of Bawamai Primary School Pontianak. The research method is experimental as Pre-Experimental Design of non equivalent control group design. The population of all students from two classes is 64 people, the sample of this research is IIIB students with 33 people as experimental classes and IIIC as a control class with 31 people. The Used Data collection techniques are measurement techniques and data collector tools are written tests of multiple choice. The average post-test results of experimental class is 79.06 and the control post-test average is 71.89. The result of hypothesis test using t-test (T-test) obtained t count = 36,10 whereas for dk (33 + 31-2 = 62) with significance level ? = 5% obtained t table = 1,676, which means t count> t tabel, , this proves that there is an effect of applying role playing role-playing asisted by comics in learning civic education. Based on result of calculation of effect size (ES) obtained ES = 0.67 which included medium criteria, about 0,67 <0,8. Thus it can be said that the application of role playing role playing comic in study of Citizenship Education gives positive influence to student learning result of third class Bawamai Primary School Pontianak. Keywords: Influence, Role Playing Method, Comics, Citizenship Education, Learning                  Result.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of starting reading skill using syllable cube to the first grade students of Sekolah Dasar negeri 04 Jelatang. The method of this research is descriptive in form of classroom action research with collaborative particicpation charachteristics. This research is done in three cycles with teacher and students as the subject of this research. The technique of data collecting is in form of observation and document analysis with observation sheet and document analysis sheet as the tool of data collecting. Analysis data is used to calculate the mean of teacher?s ability on planning, teacher?s ability on implementing, and the improvement of reading skill using mean formula. Based on the data analysis, teacher?s ability on planning is 2.67 in the first cycle, 3.02 in the second cycle, and 3.35 in the third cycle. Meanwhile, the teacher?s ability on implementing is 2.85 in the first cycle, 3.14 in the second cycle, and 3.27 in the third cycle. For reading skill, the score is 63.68 in the first cycle, 66.89 in the second cycle, and 71.52 in the third cycle. Abstract

AbstractA common problem in this study is whether there is an increase in the Citizenship Education learning outcomes using a model of problem based learning in class V of 41 Sungai Raya Public Schools? The purpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of Citizenship Education using a model of problem based learning in class V of 41 Sungai Raya Public Schools. This study uses descriptive methods with the form of classroom action research, and the nature of research is collaborative. Data collection techniques used were interview techniques, direct observation techniques, measurement techniques with data collection tools, namely observation and test sheets. The collected data is analyzed with the average calculation. This study was conducted in 3 cycles. The results obtained are the use of the problem based learning model is able to improve student learning outcomes, namely in cycle 1 obtained an average value of 74.71, and in the second cycle increased by 5.59 to 80.29, and in cycle 3 also experienced an increase of 4.12 to 84.41. With the implementation of a problem based learning model in learning civic education can improve student learning outcomes. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Model Based Learning, and Citizenship Education

Abstract

 AbstractThe problem in this research is "How is the influence of cooperative learning model type Numbered Head Together to the learning outcomes of V Student Education of Grade V of State Elementary School 36 Pontianak Selatan". This study aims to determine how big the influence of cooperative learning model type numbered head together toward the learning outcomes of Vocational Education Students Class V State Elementary School 36 Pontianak Selatan. The research method used was experiment with quasi experimental desing research with non-equivalent control group desing. Population in this research is all student of class V Elementary School 36 Negeri Pontianak Selatan with sample 20 student (VA) .Teknik data collection used is measurement by means of data collection in the form of test result of student learning in the form of multiple choice. The learning outcomes obtained by the experimental class average of 73.5. The result of the hypothesis of separated variance is obtained tcount 2,514 and ttable (? = 5% and dk = 38) equal to 1,685 indicate that tcount is bigger than ttable hence h shall be accepted. This means that there is influence of student learning outcomes are taught by applying the model of learning numbered head together with students who taught without applying the model of learning numbered head together and effect size obtained 0,56 with the criteria are. Keywords: cooperative learning model type numbered head together, learning outcomes, civic education.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to describe the enhancement Student Learning Result by using Cooperative Model techniques exchange of pairs in Social Studies learning Class V SDN 68 Pontianak Barat. The method used is a descriptive method with class action research (CAR) and is collaborative. Data collection techniques used is the direct observation and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used is to use an average calculation formula (Mean). This research was conducted in 3 cycles with the results 1) the average ability of teachers to plan learning, namely as follows, in cycle 1 was 3.15, in cycle II was 3.70, in cycle III was 3.91. 2) the average ability of teachers to carry out learning, namely as follows, in the cycle I was 2.41, in the cycle II was 3.49, in the cycle III was 3.71. 3) the average students learning outcomes are as follows, in the cycle I was 71.18, in the cycle II was 80 and in the cycle III was 90.78. Abstract

Abstrak:  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara minat baca dengan hasil belajar pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri 33 Pontianak Barat. Variable bebasnya minat baca, dan variable terikatnya adalah hasil belajar (nilai ulangan tengah semester). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi hubungan menggunakan studi korelasi. Sampel penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas III A dan kelas III B yang berjumlah 63 orang. Instrument yang digunakan yaitu angket yang terdiri atas 40 soal pilihan ganda. Minat baca siswa termasuk ke dalam kategori baik dengan persentase 80.73%, sedangkan hasil belajarnya masuk kategori cukup dengan nilai rata-rata 62.86. Berdasarkan uji korelasi dengan taraf signifikansi ? = 5 % disimpulkan terdapat korelasi antara minat baca dengan hasil belajar pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri 33 Pontianak Barat dengan r hitung ? r table atau 0,317 ? 0,254.   Kata Kunci : minat baca, hasil belajar, pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia   Abstract : This study aimed to determine the correlation between reading interest by learning outcomes in learning Indonesian third grade students of State Elementary School 33 West Pontianak. The independent variable  reading interest, and the dependent variable was the learning outcomes (mid-term test scores). The method used is descriptive method to form research association studies using correlation studies. Research samples were students of class III A and III B class numbering 63 people. The instrument used is a questionnaire consisting of 40 multiple choice questions. Students read well fall into the category with a percentage of 80.73%, while the study results in the category fairly with the average value of 62.86. Based on the correlation test with significance level ? = 5% concluded there is a correlation between  reading interest by learning outcomes in learning Indonesian third grade students of State Elementary School 33 West Pontianak with r table  ? r count or 0.317 ? 0.254.
