Abstract

The tail formation of a comet near the sun leads to the situation in which the comet continually losses a part of its masses so that the mass of the comet decreases monotonically.  A comet may also accrete the material encountered along its orbit so that its mass increases. Therefore, the mass of a comet can be regarded as a function of time. In this work we study simulation the dynamics of the orbit of a comet due to the lost of its mass along the formation of its tail and the material accretion along its orbit. It is assumed  that the comet under consideration is of the form of a ball and rotates so rapidly that the whole ow its surface catches the radiation of the sun equally.

Abstract

Kasus-kasus fisika yang diangkat pada mata kuliah Fisika Komputasi akan dijawab secara numerik. Validasi jawaban ini akan dilakukan dengan membandingkannya dengan jawaban analitik yang telah dipahami mahasiswa sebagai pengalaman belajar ketika menempuh mata kuliah Fisika Matematika pada waktu sebelumnya. Contoh yang digunakan sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kasus fisika yang memuat persamaan diferensial biasa.Strategi yang dilakukan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pembuktian kepada mahasiswa bahwa jawaban numerik merupakan suatu pendekatan yang baik untuk menjawab permasalahan fisika.Bahkan, ketika langkah-langkah yang ditempuh dalam mencari jawaban analitik terlalu kompleks, jawaban numerik masih merupakan suatu pendekatan yang baik. Kata-kata kunci: jawaban numerik, jawaban analitik, persamaan diferensial biasa.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yakni apakah penggunaan alatperaga Multy Board dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA Fisikapada materi cermin siswa kelas VIII A di SMP Negeri 5 Demak?Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAfisika pada materi cermin siswa kelas VIII A di SMP Negeri 5Demak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yangdilaksanakan di kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 5 Demak pada semestergenap Tahun Pelajaran 2008 / 2009 yang terdiri dari 27 siswalaki-laki dan 16 siswa perempuan meliputi dua siklus. Hasil siklusdianalisis dengan cara mengolah nilai tes siswa sebelum dilakukantindakan dan setelah dilakukan tindakan melalui dua siklustersebut. Hasil belajar lebih meningkat, pada siklus pertama (1)dari 43 siswa yang tuntas belajar 33 siswa ( 76,74 % ), sedangpada siklus kedua (2) dari 43 siswa yang tuntas belajar mencapai39 siswa ( 90,70 % ) sehingga mengalami peningkatan dari sikluspertama (1) ke siklus kedua (2) sebesar 13,96 %. Berdasarkananalisis data disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan alat peraga ”multiboard” dalam pembelajaran IPA-Fisika dapat meningkatkanpemahaman konsep pembentukan bayangan pada cermin sehinggahasil belajarnyapun meningkat.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pendampingan pengelolaan laboratorium fisika SMA bagi guru-guru fisika SMA Kabupaten Demak. Kegiatan ini juga dilakukan untuk mengetahui kondisi nyata laboratorium yang dimiliki dan dimanfaatkan sekolah, memberikan pendampingan guna mendorong pemanfaatan laboratorium secara maksimal dalam proses pembelajaran, dan mengupayakan peningkatan kemampuan guru fisika dalam mengatasi permasalahan pengembangan laboratorium. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan kepada guru-guru MGMP fisika SMA Kabupaten Demak berjumlah 22 orang. Metode kegiatan ini berupa kegiatan pendampingan. Data diperoleh berdasarkan hasil pretest, posttest dan produk rancangan alat peraga guru fisika. Hasil kegiatan ini memberikan gambaran bahwa guru-guru fisika memiliki kemampuan mendesain laboratorium fisika dan fasilitasnya, kemampuan membuat perencanaan pengelolaan laboratorium, kemampuan menata tempat dan peralatan laboratorium, kemampuan merawat laboratorium dan kemampuan manajemen penyimpanan alat dan bahan di laboratorium. Rancangan alat peraga yang dihasilkan adalah miniatur pompa hidrolik, pipa venturi, alat peraga tekanan hidrostatis, alarm deteksi gempa, dan model hidram. Abstract

Abstract Low motivation of teachers in implementing authentic assessment becomes the basis for IbM team to carry out extension activities. Authentic assessment has actually been around a long time, but this issue arose when the curriculum was launched in 2013. During this time, most of the teachers at school in the field only make an assessment test course, not many people touched assessment tests that are written. Through activities of IbM Authentic Assessment Preparation Training for Teachers of Pesantren Darul Fikri Bawen, participants are expected to conduct a written assessment, performance assessment, product assessment projects, portfolio assessment, and manage the mark using computer-based process. Prior to socialization, teachers must first take pretest and post test. Pre test shows an average score of 89.65 while the average of post-test scores shows 97.6. During the activities, the participants felt helped and gave a positive response to organized similar activities. Keywords: Preparation, Assessment Authentic, Darul Fikri Boarding School Teacher

Abstract

The  main  purpose  of this  study is to investigate the  effectiveness  of Problem base learning assisted wondershare quiz creator on students’ high  order  thinking skills.  The  design of this  study is true  experimental which uses pre-test and  post-test. This  study is done in SMA Negeri  1 Sayung  on September 25J uli − 8Agustus, 2017 which  uses two  classes  as the  sample and  the  sampling   technique which  the  writer   uses  is Cluster Random technique.   Based  on the  technique, the  writer  has  gotten XI  MIPA  1 as  the  experiment  class  and  XI  MIPA  2 as the  control  class.  Moreover,  the  writer  uses test  and  documentation as the  techniques of data collection  in this  study. Based  on the  data analysis, the  experiment class pre-test score is 32, 3 and  the  control  class’s  pre-test score  is 31, 96.   Meanwhile  the  post-test   score  of experiment class is 57, 3 and  control  class is 41, 6.  Based  on both  classes prest-test and  post-test results, it shows that there  is a significant different between  the  student’s self-employed  and  their  study results  in experiment  class with  the  student’s self-employed  and  their  study results  in control class.   The  hypothesis testing shows  ttest  = 3, 89 and  ttable = 1, 667.   This  result  shows  that ttest > ttable (3, 89 > 1, 667) which means  that H0   is declined.  Therefore, it means  that Problem based learning assisted wondershare quiz creator Method  is able to cultivate students’ high order thinking skills.

Abstract

Physics learning will give optimal learning outcomes if the students can buildknowledge and find the answer of a problem through the learning process which has beendone. Separately, some studies show that students lack of creative thinking ability andscientific works. Therefore, it needs project based learning model which can sharpen thestudents creative thinking ability to learn Physics.This experimental study aimed to know theeffects of Project Based Learning model through the method of laboratory working on thecreative thinking ability on the material of harmonic vibration at grade XI MIA of SMAN 1Comal. The samples of this study were Class XI MIA 2 as the experimental class and Class XIMIA 3 as the control class. The techniques used to gather the data in this study weredocumentation, observation, and tests.Based on the analysis of the hypotheses using one-tailed t-test with right side, the results showed that the was 2,99 and the was 1,67. Itcould be seen that the was higher than the so that the Ha was acceptedisaccepted. Meanwhile, from the gain test, it was obtained that the of experimental class was0.710 with high category and the of control class was 0.611 with medium category.The learning using Project Based Learning model through the method of laboratory working on thematerial of Harmonic Vibration at Grade XI MIA of SMAN 1 Comal gives effects on thecreative thinking ability and can develop the students’ creative thinking ability.
