Abstract

The antenna has a big role either in high or low frequency of wireless communication. In transmission process, antenna also become a determinant factor of successful communication between transmitter and receiver. In this project, we will design an omnidirectional antenna that will be connected with electrical unit measurement device. To make analyzing process easier, ansoft hfss 13.0 software will beused. The simulation results show that the antenna canwork well at frequency of 2,4 until 2,5 GHz, return loss -30,4670, gain 5,08 and VSWR 1,0618.Keyword: microstrip antenna, Wi ? Fi , return loss, VSWR

Abstract

The development of information technology has ampact on changes in human life. One of them is Cloud Computing technology. Cloud Computing is computing model that it giveaway saat to access services by offering resources suci as hardware, software, and data storage as user guidance services. SMPN 1 Karimun is one of the Junior High Schools in Karimun Regency, still uses conventional storage namely computer storage or tiger storages. So, the ampun of data cause a lack of effeciency and effectiveness in accessing data. As a technology like cloud computing. Cloud computing has function as a server for digital-based storage, renew using cloud computing can storage performance in SMPN 1 Karimun to knot it any attack of DoS ( Denial of Service ). The research methodology is to design a cloud computing system by testings function in the application with the quality of existing network. The average value of throughput without DoS attack is 21,21 Mbit/s, the average throughtput value two PCs using DoS attack is 18,76 Mbit/s while four PCs is 17,21 Mbit/s. Avarage result of packet loss without DoS attack is 0,046 %, the average of packet loss value using two PCs DoS attack is 0,082 % while using four PCs is 0,104 %. Average result of delay value without DoS attack is 0,000354 ms, the average delay value using two PCs is 0,000475 ms while using while four PCs is 0,000517 ms. Abstract

Data are valuable information in an agency or an institution, both engaged in politics, culture, education, economics and etc. Therefore, data very important to be properly maintained and stored by the relevant agencies. Nowadays, data are no longer just archived on a piece of paper but also stored in a storage medium that uses internet network to access it. Library and Archives Service (DISPUSIP) in Pekanbaru,Riau Province, Indonesia is a government institution that embodies the seriousness of the local Government in Pekanbaru to educate the life of Indonesia. DISPUSIP Pekanbaru, has problems in managing data storage. In this case, it is necessary to have file management which includes data storage and file sharing in a computer that is made a server, so all data will be stored centrally. Data storage on a server side or known as cloud computing is a technology where is owners data do data storage on server storage or known as cloud storage. Cloud storage used in this study is OwnCloud. After OwnCloud operates, it is required analyzing the use of OwnCloud. OwnCloud is a private cloud service. With OwnCloud, IT can maintain complete control over all documents or archives in DISPUSIP, knowing exactly where the data is at all times and deciding who might or might not have access to certain documents and folders. This analysis is intended to determine the acceptance of Cloud Storage with a OwnCloud that will be assessed by DISPUSIP employees. Analysis in this study will use the Technology Acceptance Model 3 (TAM3) method by revealing the influences of 16 hypotheses. Computer Anxiety has a positive impact on Perceived Ease Of Use, Computer Self Efficacy has a positive impact on Perceived Ease of Use, Image has a positive impact on Perceived Usefulness, Job Relevance has a positive impact on Perceived Usefulness, Object Usability has a positive impact on Perceived Ease of Use, Output Quality has a positive impact on Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use has a positive impact on Behavioral intention, Perceived Ease of Use has a positive impact on Perceived Usefulness, Perceptions of External Control has a positive impact on Perceived Ease of Use, Result Demonstrability has a positive impact on Perceived Usefulness, Subjective Norm has a positive impact on Image, Subjective Norm has a positive impact on Perceived Usefulness, Behavioral Intention does not have a positive impact on Use behavior, Computer Playfulness does not have a positive impact on Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Enjoyment does not have a positive impact on Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness does not have a positive impact on Behavioral Intention. From the test results 12 hypotheses have a positive impact and 4 hypotheses do not have a positive impact on research in DISPUSIP. Abstract

Powerline Communication (PLC) Systems intents to use the mains network in vehicles for high-speed data transmission. Carrier frequencies in the range of MHz are required to establish data rates of some megabits per second. In this paper, typical reference channels extracted from channel measurements are presented and computation results of their capacities according to Shannons theorem are presented. Furthermore, the effect of limitations of frequency range and power spectral density of transmitted signal on achievable capacity is investigated. This paper outlines an assessment for theoretical channel capacity and achievable data rates of vehicular PLC transmission schemes. Finally, EMC (Electromagnetics Compatibility) constraint according to CISPR 25 (Comite International Special des Perturbations Radioelectrique - The International Special Committee on Radio Interference) is deeply considered.

Abstract

Low-density parity-check (LDPC) code is linear-block error-correcting code defined by sparse parity-check matrix. It is decoded using the massage-passing algorithm, and in many cases, capable of outperforming turbo code. This paper presents a class of low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes showing good performance with low encoding complexity. The code is constructed using difference families from  combinatorial design. The resulting code, which is designed to have short code length and high code rate, can be encoded with low complexity due to its quasi-cyclic structure, and performs well when it is iteratively decoded with the sum-product algorithm. These properties of LDPC code are quite suitable for applications in future wireless local area network.

Abstract

Otomatisasi pemberi pakan ikan lele berbasis arduino ini bertujuan untuk merancang bangun alat pemberi makan ikan lele secara otomatis berdasarkan jadwal makan dan berat ikan berbasis arduino uno.Alat Pemberi pakan ini menggunakan RTC untuk pengatur waktu dan pengatur jadwal pakan ikan dilengkapi juga dengan motor DC sebagai penebar pakan. Tegangan operasional alat yang digunakan rangkaian kontrol membutuhkan tegangan 5V dan 12V. Berat pakan yang dikeluarkan berdasarkan berat ikan lele dan banyaknya jumlah ikan. Jumlah anakan ikan lele dalam penelitian ini dibuat bervariasi, yaitu 750 ekor, 1500 ekor dan 3000 ekor dengan panjang anakan 7 sampai 8 cm per ekor. Jadwal pemberi pakan yang telah dijadwalkan yaitu pada pukul 09.00 WIB untuk pagi, pukul 16.00 WIB untuk pemberian pakan siang dan 21.00 WIB untuk pemberian pakan malam.Dari hasil pengujian, alat dapat bekerja dengan baik sesuai jadwal yang ditentukan dengan berat pakan yang keluar 150 gr selama 5,04 detik untuk anakan sebanyak 750 ekor, 300 gr selama 8,36 detik untuk anakan sebanyak 1500 ekor dan 600 gr untuk anakan sebanyak 3000 ekor.

Abstract

The development of technology-based 4G Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) is growing rapidly. In the BWA network isrequired high-speed connection and large capacity to access the internet compared to previous 3.5G technology. Oneof technology in the 4G BWA grown today is WiMAX IEEE 802.16d standard. WiMAX IEEE 802.16d standard is usingthe 3.5 GHz frequency. In this frequency, WiMAX have problems to be applied in Indonesia. This is due to the satellitein Indonesia use the same frequency with the WiMAX frequencies. For the implemention in Indonesia, it is necessary to design a band rejection filter to avoid interference between Imax and satellite. This research has been analyzed anddesigned Band rejection filter using the software Advanced Design System (ADS) 2011.01. The Responses are used inthis design is Chebyshev response, because the Chebyshev response can produce a high degree of steepness. The resultsshowed that the design of band rejection filter can refuse satellite frequency at a frequency of 3.5 GHz in the range of30-50 dB with bandwitdh 120 MHz.

Abstract

Villa Melati Permai I has equipped by FTTH (Fiber to the Home) network facility, later on the villa melati Permai I has been extended into villa melati permai II, in this villa melati permai II has not been equipped by FTTH facility. This paper, proposes to design villa melati permai II FTTH network according to parameter standard of Villa Melati Permai I equipment. The analysis parameters containing Link Power Budget, Rise Time Budget and BER for permormance system that simulated by OptySystem. From the calculations of link power budget, the total attenuation result is 21,35 dB for downstream and 22,13 dB for upstream. The loss of receiver result is -19,85 dBm for downstream and -20,63 dBm for upstream. For system performance parameters are generated from the simulation BER OptiSystem, BER values obtained 1,64

Abstract

The company that has business units specific location would want the business units are connected to one another in a network and can share important information quickly to support the companys business continuity. One is seeking a fast network connection to send the shipment and demand data. One solution that can be used is the routing protocol. The use of routing protocols greatly affect how network performance local area network of a company. To support LAN network performance optimization, routing protocols have a fundamental role in the network. Selection of the appropriate routing protocols necessary for optimal and efficient network, and can cope with complex routing situations quickly and accurately. Case studies conducted in PT.Chevron Pacific Indonesia to implement multiple routing protocols on the LAN network PT.Chevron Pacific Indonesia. Implementers conducted in simulated General Network Simulator 3 and use wireshark to get a delay, packet loss, and thrpoughput using Open Shortest Path First routing, Routing Information Protocol version 1, and Enchanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol for LAN network PT.Chevron Pacific Indonesia. The results of this simulation design obtained QOS routing OSPF, RIPv1, and EIGRP, and OSPF routing is obtained that has the best performance seen from the measured parameters.Keyword : Routing Protokol, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, QOS

Abstract

In this study, the authors implement an application Spectrum Analyzer used to examine the frequency response of the human voice. This application begins with making the function of the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), which calculates the value of the amplitude of a wave file. Then the manufacture equalizer and normalization adjusts the value of the highest amplitude of each spectrum to be more easily studied. Spectrum Analyzer application is built using MATLAB programming language. From the test results, the human voice is in the frequency range of 300 -3400 Hz and a human voice shrill has higher frequencies then bass, By using sound recorder application that already include in the operation of windows, the audio signal will be at the input. The audio signal that we will process here is the type of audio signal stereo. Stereo signals having a phase of R and L which produces the dominant voice on the left or right.  Keywords : Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), the audio signal, spectrum analyzer
