Abstract

The objective of this study was to find out whether or not there is significant difference on students’ writing achievement taught by using Process Genre Approach and teacher’s strategy at the eighth grade students of SMPN 22 Palembang. The population of this study consisted of 277 eighth grade students of SMPN 22 Palembang in Academic Year of 2014/2015. There were 72 students taken as sample. Each class consisted of 36 students from class VIII.5 as control group and VIII.6 as experimental group. The sample of this study was taken by using convenience sampling method. In this study, the writer used quasi experimental design using nonequivalent pretest and posttest design. The instrument used in collecting the data was written test. The test was administered twice, as the pretest and posttest for both control and experimental group. The results of the test were analyzed by using IBM SPSS  (Statistical Package for the Social Science) Statistics 20. The result showed that teaching writing by using Process Genre Approach had significant difference on the students’ writing mastery. It can be seen from the result of pretest to posttest of each group. The achievement of experimental group was higher than the achievement of control group. Based on the result analysis of means significant difference from students’ posttest scores in control and experimental groups, it was found that t-obtained (0.000) was lower than t-table (0.05). So, the Ho (the null hypothesis) was rejected and Ha (the alternative hypothesis) was accepted. It means that there was significant difference on students’ writing achievement taught by using Process Genre Approach than students who are taught by using strategy that used by teacher.

Abstract

Development of information get significant effect on the human mind and habits. The quality and service is need for growing fast becoming the hopes and desires of every human being. It became a thought and analysis that should be applied in every plan and policy to be taken especially companies that deal directly with consumers in all operation. Thats because Telkom Tembilahan wants to develop the technology advances, in order to facilitate the registration of new people to do the installation Phone. Telkom Tembilahan has always put the needs and interests the comfortable for the people on Tembilahan. The service of Availability is fast, accurate and thorough in addition will assist in the process of customer service, will also be very helpful in improving managerial company and help the company to determine the next steps to be taken as a company policy. At this time PT. Telkom as the provider of online installation in operation for processing such data, especially with regard to new customers, preparing reports customer data entry has been done is by using a computerized program media web applications, but the operation is still considered to be slow, and it’s can to be a waste of time. The research has resulted in applications for website design for information registration telephone instalation implementation on telkom tembilahan. Application of the stretcher has been realized and can operate as a system requirement. In general, the new system has succeeded in optimizing the computer system in the process of registration so that it can manage the data well, to produce an effective and efficient information.

Abstract

Abstrak. Kemajuan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi di abad 21 mengakibatkan terjadi pergeseran paradigma belajar yang tidak mengenal ruang dan waktu, sehingga kemampuan literasi digital, literasi sains, literasi bahasa, dan literasi matematika sangat perlu untuk dikembangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan literasi Mahasiswa Calon Guru Fisika Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Samudra. Metode Penelitian menggunakan metode pre-experimental design, dengan desain one group pretest-posttest design. Lokasi Penelitian pada mahasiswa angkatan 2016 sebanyak 22 orang. Tes kemampuan literasi sain berbentuk pilihan ganda dengan empat alternatif pilihan jawaban. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan rumus N-gain yang ter normalisasi, dan uji t berpasangan (Paired Sampel t-Test) menggunakan SPSS versi 23. Hasil analisis data N-Gain menunjukkan kemampuan literasi sain pada setiap domain dan aspek kemampuan literasi sain sebesar 0,71 dan 0,76 dengan kategori tinggi pada materi listrik dinamis. Hasil ini diperkuat oleh hasil uji t berpasangan (sig.0.00<0.05) dapat disimpulkan model pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis virtual laboratory secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains mahasiswa calon guru fisika pada materi listrik dinamis.Kata Kunci: Literasi Sain, Model  Inkuiri, Virtual Laboratory, Listrik Dinamis Abstract. The advancement of Science and Technology within the 21st century has led to a shift of learning paradigm, which is no more influenced by space and time; so that the ability of digital literacy, science literacy, language literacy, and mathematical literacy is highly required to be developed. The purpose of this study was to find out the improvement of students’ literacy ability at Physics Education, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Samudra University. The research method used in this research was pre-experimental design method, with one group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted in the Physics class; and there were 22 students taking part within this study. A multiple-choice test, with four alternative answers, was applied in order to find out students’ literacy ability. The data were analyzed through N-gain formula, and paired t-test using SPSS, version 23. The result of N-Gain data analysis revealed that the scientific literacy ability in each domain and the aspect of the science literacy ability is 0.71 and 0.76 with high category in dynamic electrical material. This result is reinforced by paired t test result (sig.0.00 <0.05), which can be concluded that inquiry model based on virtual laboratory can significantly improve students’ science literacy ability, considered as Physics teacher candidate, especially in dynamic electrical material.Keywords: Science Literacy, Inquiry Model, Virtual Laboratory, Dynamic Electricity

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan melihat jumlah bakteri E.coli pada telur itik yang dijual di Pasar Induk Lambaro, Kecamatan Ingin Jaya, Aceh Besar. Dalam penelitian digunakan 20 telur itik dari 10 pedagang yang berbeda. Pengujian jumlah bakteri E.coli  mengunakan  Metode Total Plate Count (TPC) yang mengacu pada SNI 7388 : 2009 dengan pengenceran 10-1 sampai 10-4. Hasil positif dari cemaran E.coli ditandai dengan terbentuknya koloni berwarna hijau metalik pada media eosin methyline blue agar (EMBA). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan tidak adanya cemaran E.coli. Berdasarkan  hasil dari penelitian telur itik yang dijual dipasar Induk Lambaro, Kecamatan Ingin Jaya, Aceh Besar tidak tercemar dari E.coli.                                                                                                           AbstractThis study aims to indentify comtamination of E.coli in duck eggs sold in The Central Market of   Lambaro, Ingin Jaya District Aceh Besar. In the study used 20 duck eggs from 10 using Total Plate Count (TPC) method with refering SNI 7388 : 2009 with by methalic green coloni different trader in Lambaro central market. Amount testing E.coli  using contamination dilution 10-1 to10-4. The positive result of coloni on the eosin methylene blue agar (EMBA) medium.  The result of the study did not show any E.coli contamonation based on the research result can be concluade that the duck eggs sold in the central market Lambaro Ingin Jaya District Aceh Besar free from E.coli contamination.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menentukan kondisi perairan sungai kapuas tempat budidaya karamba jaring apung berdasarkan parameter kelimpahan jenis jenis perifitondi sungai kapuas kota pontianak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode survey dengan pengambilan sampel di beberapa titik di perairan sungai kapuas. Jenis–jenis perifiton yang terdapat di perairan Sungai Kapuas selama penelitian adalah terdapat 20 jenis perifiton dari 7 kelas yaitu Bacillariophyceae, Cyanophyceae, Chlorophyceae, Choraphyeeae, Protozoa, Myxophyceae dan Rotifera. Kelas Chlorophceae paling banyak jenisnya di perairan sungai kapuas. Nilai Kelimpahan perifiton selama penelitian berkisar 2800 – 12413 sel/cm2. Kelimpahan perifiton yang paling tinggi terdapatdi stasiun I dengan rerata kelimpahan 12.413 sel/ cm2. Berdasarkan pengamatan nilai rata-rata indeks keanekaragaman untuk perifiton berfluktuatif pada setiap stasiun di sungai kapuas dengan kisaran rata-rata  1,869 - 3,322, hasil perhitungan diperoleh  rata-rata indeks keanekaragaman perifiton berada pada kisaran sedang. Nilai indeks dominansi jenis (C) yang diperoleh selama penelitian di perairan sungai kapuas berkisar antara 0,006 - 0,014. Berdasarkan perhitungan kelimpahan perifiton, indeks keanekaragaman jenis (H’) dan indeks dominasi jenis (C) dapat disimpulkan bahwa kelimpahan tergolong tinggi, keanekaragaman jenis pada kisaran sedang dan tidak ada spesies yang mendominasi perairan sungai kapuas. Hasil dari pengukuran kualitas air secara umum masih mendukung kehidupan organism termasuk perifiton.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana model pembelajaran CLIS berbasis SimulasiKomputer dapat mengurangi kuantitas miskonsepsi siswa pada pembelajaran listrik dinamis.Pembelajaran CLIS berbasis Simulasi komputer dilakukan dengan pengerjaan LKS praktikum listrikdinamis yang dikerjakan dengan menggunakan bantuan software Phet Circuit Construction Kit DCOnly
