Abstract

This research is study the process which influence the relationship development (marketing)based on commitment. The excellence of continual competitive from company can do with thelong-range cooperation relationship. In this cooperation relationship, the role of commitmentis very importance. Research in Juwana indicate that trust is the primary factor in courseof development of long-range marketing cooperation commitment. Trust is influenced bysatisfaction and communications. Type of research is explanatory research, population inthis research is all of cutomer. Technique used in this research is census so all of populationwill be sampel. Technic analysis used in this research is equation model of structural byPartial Least Square ( PLS). Communications and satisfaction have an influence to trust thensatisfaction and communications also have an influence on directly to commitment. Abstract

The number line and the neutralization model have been used very extensively in teaching integer additions and subtractions for decades. Despite their advantages, issues concerning subtractions on these models are still debatable. Therefore, the neutralization on an empty number line (NNL) model is proposed in this research to help students better understand the meaning of integer subtractions as well as additions. This report is a part of a design research study conducted in a classroom of 28 elementary school students at the fifth grade. Data were gathered by collecting students? written work, conducting interviews and observations during the teaching experiment. This paper focuses on students? perceptions of the NNL model and what factors that might contribute to students? achievements in understanding integer additions and subtractions. The analysis revealed that most students overemphasized on the use of the NNL model as a procedural method instead of as a model for thinking. Moreover, students? mathematical beliefs and conceptions on the use of the column strategy and the absence of a discussion on the need of using the model are found to be some factors that could cause students? misunderstandings. However, with a thorough planning, the NNL model has a potential to help students developing a meaning of integer additions and subtractions.

Abstract

The aims of this study were to determine the characteristics of effervescent tablet using anthill-rosella ratio with maltodextrin and dextrin as a filler, and to determine the treatment with the best characteristics of effervescent tablets anthil and rosella. Anthill - rosella ratio which used in this study were 100: 0, 90:10, 80:20, 70:30, and 60:40. The results showed that anthill - rosella ratio, maltodextrin and dextrin as fillers significantly affect the characteristics of effervescent tablets. The as increated the rosella concertration, the lightness, total polyphenols and antioxidant activity were decreased, and chroma, hue, moisture content, hygroscopicity, solubility time and total anthocyanins were increased. The use of maltodextrin as filler in effervescent tablets anthill - rosella produced higher polyphenols, anthocyanins and antioxidants activity than dextrin. The best treatment of anthill - rosella ratio was 70:30 with maltodextrin as filler. That effervescent tablet had water content of 12.32%, hygroscopicity of 4,12%, soluble time of 73,15 seconds, Lighness (L) of 70,54, Chroma (C) of 20,85, Hue (H) of 89,58 (Yellow Red), polyphenol content of 5,9 mg GAE /g, anthocyanin content of 0,38 mg/g and the antioxidant activity of 53,97%.Keywords: effervescent tablet, anthill, rosella, filler, maltodextrin, dextrin

Abstract

Cacao bean and cocoa products contained flavonoid polyphenol compounds. Monomeric flavanols (catechin and epicatechin) are the major flavonoids in cocoa products that have high antioxidative properties. High antioxidant activity of cocoa made it potential to be developed into healthy drink by adding extract of spicy. The aims of this research were to characterize chemical-functional (polyphenol content and antioxidant activity), and sensory (hedonic) properties, and also polyphenol stability of spicy-chocolate beverage during storage. Spicy-chocolate beverage was made from ingredients of cocoa extract, spices extract (ginger, lemongrass, and sappanwood), and sugar. The results showed that the total polyphenol content and antioxidant activity of spicy-chocolate beverage decreased as the lower addition of cocoa extract and greater addition of the spicy extracts in beverage formulations. The sensory test showed that panelists preferred spicy-chocolate beverage formula P5 (75% of cocoa extract; 9% of sappanwood extract; 3% of lemongrass extract and 13% of ginger extract), containing the total polyphenol content of 80,77 mg/100 mL, antioxidant activity (percent inhibition) of 72,66%, and sensory (hedonic) scores of the color, aroma, taste, and overall attributes were 2,08; 1,92; 2,14 and 2,08, respectively. Spicy-chocolate beverages were stored at refrigeration temperature had polyphenol stability higher than beverage stored at room temperature.Keywords: spicy-chocolate beverage, polyphenol, antioxidant activity, polyphenol stability

Abstract

Anxiety is a tension, insecurity and fears that arise because of feeling that something bad will happen, it is one of psychiatric disorder causing a somatization disorder. A common somatization disorder is an epigastric pain. Epigastric pain is subjective physical complaint located at the epigastric region. This study aimed to determine whether there was a correlation between anxiety and epigastric pain symptom on outpatients of Internal Medicine dr. Soebandi hospital. This was an observational analytic study with cross sectional approach. Measurement of anxiety level using questionnaires HARS ( Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale ) and pain level measurements using questionnaires VAS ( Visual Analog Scale ). Data was obtained using questionnaires by interview technique. The result showed a significant relationship ( p = 0.000 ) between the anxiety and epigastric pain symptom. Analysis of the relationship between the two variables showed a positive correlation 0.688. In conclusion, there was a positive correlation between anxiety-disorders and epigastric pain symptom. Abstract

[ENGLISH] Red dragon fruit peel, which is 30-35% from red dragon fruit, is supposed to be a waste containing betacyanin ± 186,90 mg/100 g and antioxidant activity ± 53,71 %. Another potential fruit, which can be developed as an antioxidant, is a salam fruit. Salam fruit is one of local fruits in Indonesia, which has a high antioxidant but its potential has not been utilized optimally. The aim of this research is to determine the exact formulation in effervescent tablet from red dragon fruit peel and salam fruit’s extracts through sensory, physical as well as chemical characteristics. This research was conducted in three steps. Firstly, the researchers made the preparation of raw materials to get the red dragon fruit peel and flesh of salam fruit. Secondly, extraction using 97% ethanol and vacuum drying to obtained extract powder of red dragon fruit peel and salam fruit. At last, determines the formulation of effervescent tablet. Effervescent tablets were analyzed sensory, physical and chemical characteristics. Sensory analysis showed F1, F2 and F3 having the preferred formulation. Furthermore, the results of physical and chemical characteristics analysis indicate F3 having the best formulation with the highest antioxidant activity 63,13% with speed-soluble 72.40 seconds, water content of 11.24%, color parameters L = 41,32, C = 23 and hue = 358,74 (red purple), betacyianin content 309,75 mg/100 g dry basis and anthocyianin content 5,26 mg/100 g dry basis. Keywords: red dragon fruit peel; salam fruit; effervescent tablet [INDONESIAN] Kulit buah naga merah merupakan limbah (30 - 35% buah utuh) mengandung betasianin ± 186,90 mg/100 g dan aktivitas antioksadan ± 53,71%. Buah lainnya yang potensial dikembangkan sebagai sumber antioksidan adalah buah salam. Buah salam adalah salah satu buah-buahan lokal Indonesia yang mengandung antioksidan, tetapi belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui formulasi yang tepat tablet effervescent yang dibuat dari ekstrak kulit buah naga merah dan buah salam melalui pengujian karakteristik sensori, fisik, dan kimia. Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan. Pada tahap pertama, peneliti melakukan persiapan bahan baku untuk mendapatkan kulit buah naga merah dan buah salam tanpa biji. Tahap kedua melakukan ekstraksi menggunakan pelarut etanol (97%) dan pengeringan ekstrak menggunakan pengering vakum untuk mendapat bubuk ekstrak kulit buah naga merah dan buah salam. Tahap terakhir melakukan pengujian tablet effervescent. Tablet effervescent dianalisa karakteristik sensori, fisik, dan kimia. Analisis sensori menunjukkan bahwa formulasi F1, F2, dan F3 lebih disukai panelis. Lebih lanjut, hasil dari analisis fisik dan kimia menunjukkan bahwa formulasi F3 merupakan formulasi terbaik dengan nilai aktivitas antioksidan tertinggi 63,13%, waktu larut 72,40 detik, kadar air 11,24%, parameter warna L = 41,32; C =23; dan hue = 358,74 (red purple), kandungan betasianin 309,75 mg/100 g (berat kering), dan kandungan antosianin 5,26 mg/100 g (berat kering). Abstract

Transglycosylation of naringenin was carried out by concentrated cellulase enzyme of Penicillium sp. LBKURCC27. Enzymatic transglycosylation of naringenin was successfully carried out by cellulase from Penicillium sp. LBKURCC27, however the reproducibility of the reaction is low, making detection by reverse phase HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) difficult when the enzyme activity decreases. It is believe that the flavonoid concentration used in the transglycosylation naringenin by cellulase Penicillium sp. LBKURCC27 influences the detection pattern of transglycosylation product of HPLC. The reaction was carried out for 30 hours at 40°C with acetate buffer 0.05 M pH 5.5 and 170 rpm shaking. Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) was used as glycosyl donor. Results of HPLC analysis showed that cellulase Penicillium sp. LBKURCC27 with an activity of (0.670±0.023 U/mL) were not able to convert naringenin to a detectable glycosylated product when the initial substrate concentration was 6 mg/mL. In the 0.6 mg/mL of naringenin concentration, the glycosylation product was formed with 100% of percent convertion.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui: interaksi antara jumlah daun dan konsentrasi Rootone-F; pengaruh jumlah daun;  dan pengaruh Rootone-F terhadap pertumbuhan bibit jeruk nipis lemon asal stek pucuk secara tunggal.  Penelitian dilaksanakan sejak bulan November 2017 sampai Februari 2018 di Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Mulawarman. Percobaan faktorial disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan lima ulangan.  Faktor pertama adalah jumlah daun, terdiri atas: 5, 7 dan 9 helai daun, sedangkan faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi Rootone-F, terdiri atas: 0,00; 0,05; 0,10 dan 0,15 g mL-1.  Variabel yang diamati meliputi: saat muncul tunas, jumlah tunas, jumlah daun, panjang tunas, diameter tunas, jumlah akar dan panjang akar.  Data dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil pada taraf 5%.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi antara jumlah daun dan konsentrasi Rootone-F berbeda tidak nyata pada semua variabel yang diamati, kecuali diameter tunas.  Pengaruh jumlah daun berbeda nyata terhadap variabel yang diamati, kecuali jumlah tunas, jumlah daun, dan panjang tunas pada umur 12 minggu setelah tanam (MST).  Pengaruh konsentrasi Rootone-F berbeda nyata pada semua variabel yang diamati, kecuali jumlah tunas dan jumlah daun pada 6 MST.  Pertumbuhan bibit jeruk nipis lemon terbaik diperoleh pada perlakuan 9 helai daun dan dan konsentrasi Rootone-F 0,10 g mL-1 secara tunggal.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the content of total monomeric anthocyanins and to identify the anthocyanin composition of jambolan fruit (Syzygium cumini) growing in Indonesia. Anthocyanins were extracted with methanol containing 0.1% HCl, removed from non-polar impurities by partition with chloroform and purified in a C18 solid phase cartridge. Anthocyanins were identified by high-performance liquid chromatography with diode array detection (HPLC-DAD), UV-visible spectral analysis, and physico-chemical reactions. Using pH-differential method, it was known that the content of total monomeric anthocyanin in the ripe fruit was 161 mg/100 g fresh fruit (731 mg/100 g skin on wet basis or 3430 mg/100 g skin on dry basis), based on cyanidin-3-glucoside. Furthermore, five anthocyanins without acylating groups were identified as 3,5-diglucoside derivatives of delphinidin (41.29%), petunidin (27.79%), malvidin (25.60%), cyanidin (4.19%), and peonidin (1.13%). These results demonstrate that the skin of jambolan fruit especially the ripe one is rich in anthocyanin, with wide range in anthocyanidin backbone (five aglycons).

Abstract

 Background:  Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) represents one of public health problems in Indonesia and so do the other  countries. Commonly, DHF infections are found in tropics and subtropics  country, specially in urban and sub urban area. The number of sufferer and its distribution increases along with mobility and population density.  Methods: The study used  analytic observational method with cross sectional design. The samples  were number of  DHF cases in Palu City at 2010-2014 that recorded in Health Department of Palu. The data used in form secondary data of DHF cases through Health Department of Palu’s records and population density through Statistic of Palu City. Data processing was done with SPSS program with spearman test. Results: The results showed that r value = 0,502 and p value = 0,000 which means that there is a moderate relationship with positive direction between the population density and the occurrence of dengue hemorrhagic fever  Conclusions: There is a moderate relationship with positive direction between the population density and the occurrence of dengue hemorrhagic fever in Palu City at 2010-2014.   Key words: occurrence of DHF, population density
