Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan perbedaan dan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMAN 2 Pontianak yang diberikan pembelajaran menggunakan model siklus belajar 5E dan metode konvensional pada materi koloid. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah nonequivalent control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI MIA 4 dan XI MIA 1. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes keterampilan berpikir kritis. Hasil uji t berpasangan diperoleh P-value = 0,632 > 0,05, artinya tidak terdapat perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan dengan nilai signifikansi. Rata-rata peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,279 dan 0,174 dengan kategori rendah. Indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis pada kelas eksperimen yang mengalami peningkatan yaitu melakukan pertimbangan hasil observasi, membuat kesimpulan, mengidentifikasi asumsi-asumsi, dan memutuskan suatu tindakan dan pada kelas kontrol hanya indikator melakukan pertimbangan hasil observasi. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan yang terjadi pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Kata kunci: Keterampilan berpikir kritis, model siklus belajar 5E, koloid. Abstract: This research aims to determine the differences and improvement critical thinking skills students of SMAN 2 Pontianak given study using 5E learning cycle model and conventional method in colloid material. This research was conducted in form of nonequivalent control group. Samples in this research were a class of XI MIA 4 and XI MIA 1. The instrument was test of critical thinking skills. Results of paired t-test showed P-value = 0.632 > 0.05 that means there was no difference of critical thinking skills of students after being given treatment with significant value. Average of improvement critical thinking skills of students in experimental class and control class is 0.279 and 0.174 with a low category. Indicators of critical thinking skills in the experiment classroom that has risen was consideration results of observations, making inferences, identify assumptions, and decide a course of action and the control class has only indicator consideration results of observation. The results of research concluded that the improvement that occurred in the experimental class is better than the control class. Keywords: Critical thinking skills, 5E learning cycle model, colloid.

Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this research and development was to produce biochemistry II module on carbohydrate metabolism material for chemistry education student of Tanjungpura University. Development of biochemistry II on carbohydrate metabolism material for chemistry education student of Tanjungpura University developed based on according to Borg and Gall procedure. The subject of this research was biochemistry II module which were tested on chemistry education student FKIP Untan on limited test and main test. Data collecting tool using product feasibility questionnaire and students response questionnaire through the level of product usage. According to result feasibility questionnaire analysis, biochemistry II module was very feasible to use in learning in term of content feasibility gave 93.33%, presentation feasibility gave 88.33%, linguistic feasibility gave 91.66%, and graphic feasibility gave 91.66%. The result of limited test for level of product usage gave 79.75% which was  high category. The result of main test for level of product usage gave 83.19% which was very high category to use in learning process.Keywords: Module, Biochemistry, Development

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan proses sains siswa pada materi larutan penyangga melalui metode praktikum. Penelitian  ini  merupakan  penelitian  deskriptif  menggunakan  intsrumen berupa lembar observasi dan lembar kerja siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIA 3 SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak sebanyak 38 siswa. Berdasarkan analisis data, Siswa sangat baik dalam mengklasifikasikan, menuliskan  persamaan  reaski,  mengukur  dan  mengamati  dengan  jumlah siswa berturut-turut 57,89%, 94,74%, 55,26%, dan 68,42%. Siswa baik pada interpretasi data 47,36%, kurang dalam membuat hipotesis 81,75%. Bahkan sangat kurang dalam keterampilan membuat rumusan masalah, menentukan variabel,  menentukan  komponen  penyangga,  dan  membuat  kesimpulan dengan jumlah siswa berturut-turut 76,31%, 78,94%, 89,47% dan 97,37%.       Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Proses Sains, Metode Praktikum, Larutan Penyangga       Abstract. The purpose of this study was to describe the science process skills of students on the buffer solution material through pratical methods. The method of this this study was descriptive using observation sheet and worksheet. The subjects were students of class XI MIA 3 SMAN 2 Pontianak are 38 students. The result of study showed, extremely good student in classifying, writing the equation, measuring and observing the number of students 57.89%, 94.74%, 55.26% and 68.42% respectively.  Students good on the interpretation of data 47.36%, less than the hypothesized 81.75%. In fact extremely are lacking in skills to formulate the problem, define variables, determine the components of the buffer, and conclude with a number of students 76.31%, 78.94%, 89.47% and 97.37% respectively       .Key words: science process skills, pratical method, buffer

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa kelas XII MIPA 3 SMAN 8 Pontianak pada materi reaksi oksidasi dan reduksi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas XII MIPA 3 SMAN 8 Pontianak setelah diberikan model pembelaajran kooperatif debat kimia berbasis ICT. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XII MIPA 3 SMAN 8 Pontianak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pengukuran dengan instrument penelitian mengunakan tes hasil belajar dan observasi langsung menggunakan lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 3,78 pada siklus I, menjadi 7,14 pada siklus II.Kata kunci: Model kooperatif, debat kimia, ICT

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh  model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar materi larutan penyangga siswa kelas XI MIA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalen Control Group Desain. Teknik cluster random sampling digunakan dalam menentukan sampel dan diperoleh sampel, yaitu kelas XI MIA 1 dan kelas XI MIA 3. Alat Pengumpul data adalah tes hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil olahan data, rata-rata skor posttest kelas ekperimen 68,64 dan hasil rata-rata skor posttest kelas kontol 62,87. Hasil uji U-Mann Whitney diperoleh bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa kelas kontrol yang diajarkan menggunakan metode konvesional  dengan siswa kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing pada materi larutan penyangga. Penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing memberikan pengaruh sebesar 27,04% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.   Kata Kunci: model pembelajaran, inkuiri terbimbing, hasil belajar, larutan penyangga. Abstrack: This study aims ed to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning model toward learning outcomes buffer material on the eleventh grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. The method of this study is experimental research in the manner of research design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Retrieval technique is cluster random sampling used in determining the sample and samples, classes namely XI MIA 1 and XI MIA 3 class. The data collection tool is achievement test. Based on the results of data processing, average score results of posttest in experiment class is 68,64 and average score results of posttest in control class is 62,87. The test result of U-Mann Whitney lobtainable that differences in learning outcomes between students in contro class taught using conventional methods with the experimental class taught using a model of guided inquiry on the material about buffer. The use of guided inquiry learning model contribute the influences amounted to 27,04% towards improving student learning outcomes. Keywords: learning model, guided inquiry, learning outcomes, buffer.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman dan tingkat pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi larutan penyangga kelas XI SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan subyek penelitian kelas XI IPA 2 sebanyak 32 siswa. Instrument penelitian adalah Two-Tier Multiple Choice Diagnostic Instrument dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat pemahaman siswa pada konsep larutan penyangga adalah: 1)pengertian larutan penyangga pada pemahaman utuh (PU) (31,25%) dan tidak paham (TP) termasuk kategori rendah (28,13%), pemahaman parsial dengan miskonsepsi (PPDM) kategori cukup (56,25%), 2)perhitungan pH dalam pembuatan larutan penyangga PU (29,69%) dan TP kategori rendah (37,45%), PPDM kategori cukup (47,66%) 3)perhitungan pH larutan penyangga dengan penambahan sedikit asam atau basa PU kategori sangat rendah (2,74%) dan TP kategori rendah (36,13%), PPDM kategori tinggi (61,09%), 4)fungsi larutan penyangga dalam kehidupan sehari-hari PU kategori sangat rendah (7,82%), PPDM (46,87%) dan TP kategori cukup (45,31%). Tingkat pemahaman siswa pada materi larutan penyangga termasuk katergori rendah. Kata kunci : Two-Tier Multiple Choice Diagnostic Instrument   Abstract: This study aimed to describe the understanding and level of understanding of the concept of students at grade material buffer solution XI Kemala Bhayangkari 1. This study uses descriptive method with research subjects in class XI IPA 2 as many as 32 students. Is a research instrument Two-Tier Multiple Choice Instrument Diagnostic and interviews. The results show the level of understanding of students on the concept of buffer solution are: 1) understanding the complete understanding of the buffer solution (CU) (31.25%) and does not understand (NU) including low category (28.13%), a partial understanding of the misconceptions (PUM) category enough (56.25%), 2) the calculation of buffer solution pH in the manufacture of CU (29.69%) and NU low category (37.45%), PUM enough category (47.66%) 3) calculation of pH buffer solution with the addition of a little acid or base CU category is very low (2.74%) and NU low category (36.13%), PUM high category (61.09%), 4) function of the buffer solution in everyday life CU category is very low (7.82%), PUM (46.87%) and enough NU category (45.31%). Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to determine feasibility and student response to worksheet of instrumentation chemical practicum based on local wisdom. It is developed based on test results the expert (expert judgment) and field trials. This research method was the research and development (R&D) which adopt a development model Borg & Gall. Subject of this research is a chemistry student worksheet based on local wisdom that tested the students of Chemistry Education FKIP Tanjungpura University in early trials and major field trials. The results of data analisis showed that chemistry student worksheet based on local wisdom is very proper to use in learning of the content feasibility of 93,33%, presentation feasibility of 91,67%, linguistic feasibility of 93,33%, chart feasibility of 91,67%. The student response initial field trials of 86,16%, and the main field trials of 81,04%. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa pada pembelajaran menggunakan model siklus belajar 5E materi Hukum Dasar Kimia.Bentuk penelitian adalahquasi experimental design dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa PGMIPAUFKIP UNTAN Tahun Akademik 2014/2015 dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pengukuran denganinstrumen tes hasil belajar.Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif.Hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata pemahaman konsep mahasiswameningkat dengan kategori rendah berdasarkan skor gain ternormalisasi. Disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman konsep mahasiswa setelah melaksanakan pembelajaran yang menggunakan model siklus belajar 5E pada materi hukum dasar kimia mengalami peningkatan. Kata kunci: Model siklus belajar 5E, pemahaman konsep, hukum dasar kimia.   The aim of this study is to describe student conceptual understanding on learning cycle 5E model on law of fundamental chemistry. one of quasi experimental design ?One group pretest-postest design? was used in this study. Population and sample on this study are pgmipau fkip untan students on academic year of 2014/2015. Tes of student achievement was used to get data. Descriptive qualitative technique was used to analyze data. Result of this study is student conceptual understanding isimproved with low chategory according to normalized gain score.  To conclude, student conceptual understanding after studying using learning cycle 5E model on law of fundamental chemistry was improved. Abstract

This research aims to know students? response about learning process using learning cycle 5E model assisted with multimedia on colloid matter. Pre-experiment method with one-shot case study design was used regarding to this. There are 79 students of SMAN 7 Pontianak who involved in this research. indirect communication techniques was used to collect data. Based on the research is obtained very good student response to learning using the 5E learning cycle model of multimedia-assisted colloid matter. The information that is obtained from this research is a very good response of students to learning using the 5E learning cycle model of multimedia-assisted colloid matter. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan model siklus belajar 5E berbantuan multimedia pada materi koloid. Untuk menjawab permasalahan digunakan metode pra-eksperimen dengan desain one-shot case study. Sebanyak 79 siswa SMAN 7 Pontianak terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan komunikasi tak langsung.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh informasi bahwa respon siswasangat baik terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan model siklus belajar 5E berbantuan multimedia pada materi koloid. Abstract

AbstrackThe purpose of this study was to determine difference of science process skills of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak students before and after being taught through 5E learning cycle model on acid base material. This study was conducted in form of pre experimental design. One group pretest?posttest design was applied as research design. Independent variables were lesson before and after being taught through 5E learning cycle model. Dependent variable was science process skills. The sample in this research was class XI  SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. To collect data, assessment technique was applied and achievement test was used to get data. Data were analyzed by means of inferential and descriptive statistic. Result of statistic showed P-value = 0,000 < ? = 0.05 which means that there was a significant difference of student science process skills before and after being taught through 5E learning cycle model on acid base material.   Keywords: Learning Cycle Model 5E, Science Process Skills, Acid Base Material
