Abstract

Abstract Being able to organize the fashion including makeup of the elementary students in their show is the aim of this community service. In exploring the students’ talent, the school needs to have a show for them like dancing show. This program was held at elementary schools in Gayamsari Semarang. Team of community service found that there are still less skill in arranging the fashion and makeup for their own students before they perform on the stage. Team taught that the elementary teachers need to equip this skill in order to prepare and help them in dressing fashion and makeup of the show. In this program also train them how to choose a wardrobe/ proper fashion, how to dress the performer, and how to mix and match the fashion and its makeup, etc. The training was held in February 19th 2011 and it was attended by 25 participants. Each participant looks very enthusiastic and wondering to get every session of trainings.   Key Word: fashion and makeup, dancing show, performance

Abstract

Latar belakang dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD pada mata pelajaran IPA materi daur air dan kurangnya pemahaman konsep materi daur air. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada salah satu SDN di Magelang kelas V yang berjumlah 35 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu “purposive sampling”. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian setelah mendapatkan perlakuan dengan menggunakan model example non-example berbantu media VISETA diperoleh thitung = 4,570 > ttabel = 2,030. Maka Haditerima yang berarti hasil belajar siswa mencapai KKM 70 dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal mencapai 88,57%. Sedangkan pada uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung = 12,262 ≥ ttabel = 2,030. Maka terdapat keefektifan model Example Non-Example berbantu media VISETA pada salah satu siswa kelas V SDN di Kota Magelang sesudah diberikan perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran example non-example berbantu media VISETA (Video Semua Tentang Air).

Abstract

Mathematics learning is a teaching and learning process that is built by teachers to develop students’s thinking creativity in constructing the procedural knowledge for mathematics. The research aims to determine the increase in students' procedural knowledge of the implementation of Gasing mathematical methods on around and the wide flatness, the subject matter of fourth grade students. This study used quantitative research. The study took a sample of a class of 39 students of SDN Plamongansari 01 Semarang. This type of research uses pre-experiment design with the pretest-posttest one group research design. The data obtained were analyzed statistically using the t-test. The test results show that Ho is rejected at the 5% confidence level, or there is a difference between student scores on pre-test and post-test. It means that the implementation of the mathematical method can improve the procedural knowledge of fourth grade of Elementary School students on the subject matter of circumference and area of planes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to reveal the level of sudents?óÔé¼Ôäó motivation in math learning and also the level of students?óÔé¼Ôäó cognitive using math animation with RME approach. The implementation of math animation with realistic mathemativs education approach had tested before in II-A and II-B class in SDN 3 Palembon, Semarang. The research did four times meeting. The reseacrh method was quasy experiment. The research showed that the score of experiment had completed the academic target by individual nor clasical, and after analyzed, we known that the experiment class had better academic result than control class.
