Abstract

As a medical instrument, electrocardiograph should have a high accuracy and precision in measuring the electrical potential of heart. Therefore, the calibration process is included as one of the procedures in using the electrocardiograph. Electrocardiograph can be calibrated internally and externally. At the University of Lampung the research to design and implement a simulator and calibrator has been done. However, the amplitude of output signal not conform the normal heart signal characteristics and electrocardiograph device specification. This study is a continuation to the previous research studies. In this study an external electrocardiograph calibrator was constructed which focuses on the attenuation of the signal amplitude by using a digital potentiometer, IC X9259. The value of IC’s attenuation is controlled by microcontroller ATMega8535 that sends the settings data of attenuation via I2C serial communication. The result of this research is a hardware that is capable of generating 3 type of electrocardiogram signals, lead I, lead II and lead III. However, the hardware is yet able to be functioned as an external calibrator for electrocardiograph because the amplitude of signals that generated range between 18.4 – 26.4 mVp-p. Which that range value does not conform with 0.5 – 4 mVp-p specifications of electrocardiograph device.

Abstract

The research objective was to test antimicrobial activity from compound produced by A. azollae which symbiosis with Azolla sp. toward microbial test of X. oryzae and Pyricularia oryzae as cause of disease on paddy crop. Sampling of Azolla which symbiosis with A. azollae was done in Azolla cultivation pond at Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The available Azolla was consisted of two types, i.e. Azolla pinnata and Azolla mycrophiylla. The extraction of A. azollae from Azolla leaves was done by method of Ultrasound Assisted Extraction (UAE) using ethyl ester solvent and maseration method using methanol solvent. Test media for bacteria and fungus respectively are Mueller Hilton Agar (MHA) and Sabouraud Dextrose Agar (SDA). The diameter of produced clear zone is an indication of extract’s inhibitory power toward bacteria or fungus. The different of inhibitory zone diameter is compared by using t-test. Analysis of active compounds on Anabaena azollae extract was done by using HPLC. Ethyl acetate or methanol extract of A. azollae which symbiosis with A. pinnata or A. microphylla was capable to inhibit the growth of X. oryzae bacterium and P. oryzae fungus. The dominant compounds containing within extract with probability more than 60% and area of more than 10% are consisted of phytol, hexadecanoate acid and 2-(tert-butyl)-4,6-dimethyl phenol.

Abstract

Makalah ini melaporkan sebuah hasil kegiatan pengujian parameter digital standar serial SNI ISO/IEC      14443   terhadap    beberapa    produk   contactless    smart   card   reader  dengan     menggunakan metode uji SNI  ISO/IEC 10373-6 yang dilakukan di Laboratorium Bidang Teknologi Kartu Cerdas, Pusat   Teknologi   Elektronika   (PTE),   Badan   Pengkajian   dan   Penerapan   Teknologi   (BPPT).   Alat  uji yang digunakan terdiri dari satu set contactless test station yang dilengkapi dengan sebuah Reference PICC Class 1 untuk berkomunikasi dengan benda uji. Diperoleh persentase keberhasilan kurang dari  50% untuk total 100 skenario pengujian parameter digital yang diberikan.
