Abstract

Abstract. The Mathematic everage score of SMP Negeri 1 Ajung has not reached maximum standart yet. Grade VII D is one of classes which has low score and minimun student activities. The everage score of grade VII D evaluation test has not reached SKM yet. It was coused by the teacher learning method, which use the expository for their daily learning activity. So that the students were passive in a class. In this kind of think, the material which has a low score was perimeter and area of triangle and quadrilateral. One of the learning model that can be develop was cooperatif learning Teams Assisted Individualization (TAI) type. From the research result, the learning activity by using cooperatif model Teams Assisted Individualization (TAI) type can increase the student achievement and activity. Beside, it can increase the student comprehension of perimeter and area triangle and quadrilateral. Key Words : students’ activities, cooperative learning TAI, Triangle and Square.

The purpose of this research isto know process and resultof Development of Mathematics Learning Instruments Based on Student Facilitator And Explaining by Setting Contextual Teaching and Learning of Prism and PyramidSub Topic at Eighth Grade of Junior High School. Learninginstruments development model refers to4D Thiagarajan model. The research produces lesson plan, worksheet, and evaluation test. The products refer to steps of Student Facilitator and Explainingand components of Contectual Teaching and Learning. Based on validation process and tryout of learning instruments, itcan be concluded that the learning instruments have satisfied criteriaofvalidaty, practice, and effective. Abstract

Abstract. Numbered Head Together (NHT) is a kind of cooperative learning which specially designed to prevent the dominance of a certain student in the learning process. In fact the PQ4R method is used to help students to remember what they have read of some steps, namely preview, question, read, reflect, recite, and review. The subject of the research is grade VII B students of SMPN 2 Sukowono. The data collection methods used in this research are test, observation, interview, and documentation. The result of this research showed the increase of students’ activities and achievement. Clasically the students’ achievement of the cycle I was 10,5% and in cycle II increased to 86,80%. The result of this research also received a good response from the teacher and students. It was proven with increase of the students’ activities and achievement. The application of NHT type of cooperative learning and PQ4R method can increase their activities and achievement. Abstract.Genius Learning method of Open Ended approach is a learning that creates a positive and conducive in learning process. So, the student can improve their logical thinking and creative thinking.The research aims to know the process and resultof Development ofMathematics Learning MaterialsBased on Genius Learning Method with Open Ended Approach for Linier Equation System in Two Variable of Junior High School at Eight Grade of Odd Semester.The development of learning materials refers toThiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel Model ( 4-D Model). The product of the research are lesson plan, student book, worksheet, and evaluation test. This product has been implemented in learning of Genius Learning Method with Open Ended in all of learning sets. Based on validation process and tryout the learning sets can be concluded that the learning sets had been appropriate with validate, practice, and effective criteria. Abstract

This research aims to determine the tofu product distribution transportation model at Taufik Tofu Factory. This type of research is applied research with a quantitative approach. The method used to solve transportation problems in this study is the Modified Vogel?s Approximation Method (MVAM) and optimized using the Modified Distribution (MODI) method. The results of this study indicate that the application of MVAM at the Taufik Tofu Factory provides a more minimum solution for calculating transportation costs, both in equilibrium and non-equilibrium problems. MVAM provides the same transportation costs as the optimal solution for the simplex method, which is equal to Rp1.164.911,00 for equilibrium problems and Rp2.176.838,00 for unequal problems. These results have been tested for optimism using MODI and better than the real cost calculations issued by the factory.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat berpikir geometri siswa kelas VII-B SMP Negeri 1 Jember berdasarkan teori van Hiele yang ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif . Berdasarkan hasil analisis jawaban soal tes dan hasil wawancara diperoleh tingkat berpikir geometri van Hiele pada siswa kelas VII-B SMP N 1 Jember secara umum mencapai tingkat 3 yaitu deduksi, namun mayoritas siswa memiliki tingkat berpikir geometri van Hiele pada tingkat 2 yaitu deduksi informal. Siswa yang mencapai tingkat 3. Siswa dengan hasil belajar tinggi dapat mencapai tingkat 3 sebanyak 4 siswa, tingkat 2 sebanyak 9 siswa, dan tingkat 1 sebanyak 2 siswa, sehingga siswa dengan hasil belajar tinggi cenderung memiliki tingkat berpikir van Hiele pada tingkat 2.Siswa dengan hasil belajar sedang dapat mencapai tingkat 3 sebanyak 1 siswa, tingkat 2 sebanyak 12 siswa, tingkat 1 sebanyak 1 siswa, dan tingkat 0 sebanyak 3 siswa, sehingga siswa dengan hasil belajar sedang cenderung memiliki tingkat berpikir van Hiele pada tingkat 2.Siswa dengan hasil belajar rendah dapat mencapai tingkat 2 sebanyak 1 siswa, tingkat 1 sebanyak 1 siswa, dan tingkat 0 sebanyak 1 siswa, sehingga siswa dengan hasil belajar rendah memiliki tingkat berpikir geometri van Hiele yang bervariasi. Kata Kunci: Tingkat Berpikir Geometri, van Hiele, Segiempat, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

This study was purposed to describe the students’ spatial visual ability in solving PISA standard math questions in Shape and Space content viewed from van Hiele's level of geometrical thinking. The research participants were 7 students who fulfilled each level of van Hiele's geometrical thinking starting from level 0 to level 3 in class XI IA 4 Glagah 1 Public Senior High School. Data collection methods were test and interviews. Based on data analysis, the results of the study show that students who are on level 3 van Hiele geometry levels, on levels between 2-3, and level 2 meet all characteristics of visual abilities. Meanwhile, students who are on levels between 1-2, level 1, levels between 0-1, and level 0 do not all meet the characteristics of spatial visual abilities. Characteristics of students' spatial visual abilities in imagination are the most dominant characteristics (most fulfilled) among the others, while the use of concepts (conceptualization) and using several ideas to find new ways are the most difficult characteristics to fulfill. Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to explore ethnomatematics on Bayat pottery, production of Bayat Pottery and produce student teaching materials in the form of test packages. This research is qualitative research with ethnographic approaches. The methods of data collection used are observation and interview. 3 people were chosen as research subjects. The ethnomatematics include counting activities, numerical activities, and measuring activities. This study focused on determining the amount of base material for making mixtures or lempung, determining the size of the pottery, determining the ratio of the diameter of the base and lid, determining the shape. Mathematical concepts that emerge are the concept of direct proportion, number sequence, similarity, congruence, and space. Keywords: ethnomatematics, bayat pottery, teaching materials.

Abstract

Hasil belajar matematika adalah penilaian hasil proses belajar matematika yang dinyatakan dalam bentuk angka, huruf, atau simbol yang dapat mencerminkan hasil yang telah dicapai oleh siswa atau anak dalam periode tertentu [1]. Dalam prosesnya hasil belajar dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor. Intelegensi dan task commitment merupakan salah satu faktor intern yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh kemampuan intelegensi dan task commitment terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XII Man 1 Jember, serta mencari tahu manakah faktor yang lebih dominan diantara keduanya. Dalam penelitian ini metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi dan kuesioner (angket). Pengambian sampel menggunakan teknik Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling yang mana jumlah sampel yang digunakann yaitu sebanyak 169 siswa. Berdasarkan proses analisis diperoleh hasil yaitu Kemampuan intelegensi dan task commitment siswa secara parsial (individu) ataupun bersama-sama mempengaruhi hasil belajar matematika siswa, dengan persamaan garis regresi Y = -30,575 + 1,140X1 + 0,288X2 + ei. Kemampuan intelegensi memilki pengaruh lebih dominan yaitu sebesar 5,6%, sedangkan task commitment memiliki pengaruh sebesar 3,1%   Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar Matematika, intelegensi, Task Commitment
