Abstract

Phosphatase in the soil was found as extracellular enzymes produced by soil micro-organisms both in acidic or alkaline conditions. Phosphatase is an enzyme complex that plays an important role in deciding soil-bound phosphate bond organic compounds to form orthophosphate which is available to the plant. Mineralization of organic forms into a inorganic-P determined by the ability of these bacteria to produce phosphatase. Therefore, observations of phosphatase activities are important to know how intensely P mineralization process takes place in the soil. Phosphate solubilizing rhizobacteria (PSR) has been widely known to affect mobilization of insoluble inorganic phosphates become available to plants. Although phosphate solubilizing rhizobacteria is widely available in the soil, their activity is usually not strong enough to compete with other bacteria commonly located in the root zone (rhizosphere). That is why, screening of phosphatase enzyme activity and various phosphate solubilizing ability to obtain better strains of bacteria are still needed. This study was conducted to determine the ability of phosphate solubilizing rhizobacteria, its potential as a biofertilizer inoculant and characterize its capacity to dissolve P-insoluble inorganic and produce phosphatase enzymes in the growing medium. Potential phosphate solubilizing rhizobacteria was tested for their ability in vitro using Pikovskaya media containing insoluble forms of inorganic phosphate as a source P. The results of this study indicate that there are some isolates phosphate solubilizing rhizobacteria that are capable of dissolving the insoluble inorganic-P with different abilities. The highest potential successively displayed by isolates TbPP-4.1; BdPP-2.1; and SBPP-1.3 that significantly has the same ability to soluble inorganic phosphate in the soil. The isolates BdPP-2.1 and TbPP-4.1 are significantly higher than the other isolates for producing phosphatase. Both isolates TbPP-4.1 and BdPP-2.1 have the same pontenty as a biofertilizer based on its capacity to mineralize forms of soil organic phosphorus by phosphatase activity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar PKn melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif Numbered Head Together (NHT) pada siswa kelas VII SMP Katolik Santo Paulus Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian tindakan kelas. Pelaksanaan penelitian menggunakan 2 siklus yang masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi/evaluasi dan refleksi. Selanjutnya data yang dikumpulkan dari metode observasi, wawancara dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Dan data yang diperoleh dari metode tes dianalisis dengan tehnik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil pada siklus I, persentase aktivitas belajar siswa secara klasikal 64% (cukup aktif) dan tingkat ketuntasan hasil belajar 74,28% (cukup). Data siklus II, persentase aktivitas belajar siswa secara klasikal sebesar 8,06% (aktif) dan tingkat ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 91,43% (Sangat baik). Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa terjadi peningkatan aktivitas belajar 16,6% dan hasil belajar 17,15% dari siklus I ke siklus II. Berdasarkan analisis data dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif Numbered Head Together (NHT) dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar PKn pada siswa kelas VII SMP Katolik Santo Paulus Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Disarankan kepada guru PKn untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif Numbered Head Together (NHT) dalam proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar PKn.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerbitan waran pada Penawaran Umum Saham (Initial Public Offerings) di Pasar Modal Indonesia dilakukan sebagai bentuk mekanisme pendanaan bertahap (staged financing) (Schultz, 1993) ataukah merupakan upaya penyampaian sinyal tentang perusahaan (Chemmanur dan Fulghieri, 1997). Penelitian dilakukan pada 96 perusahaan yang melakukan IPO pada periode 2010-2013 di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa IPO dengan waran dilakukan oleh perusahaan yang lebih muda, memiliki profitabilitas yang lebih rendah, serta dengan kecenderungan pemilik (owner) mempertahankan proporsi kepemilikan yang lebih rendah pasca IPO. Hasil analisis OLS menunjukkan initial return IPO dengan waran yang lebih tinggi dibanding IPO biasa. Analisis probit menunjukkan bahwa keputusan melakukan IPO dengan waran dipengaruhi oleh umur dan leverage. Hasil penelitian secara umum mendukung teori staged financing.

Abstract

Mikrokontroler AT89C51 dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai unit pengolah informasi yang dipungut darisensor tertentu dan hasilnya dapat ditampilkan dalam bentuk digital. Konsep kerja instrumen yangdibangun ini adalah memanfaatkan perubahan nilai resistansi yang dideteksi oleh sensor logam untukdiumpankan sebagai informasi masukan pada Mikrokontroler. Hasil pengujian untuk sejumlah sampeltanah dengan berbagai kombinasi perbandingan volume antara tanah dan air dengan alat ukur ini denganuji statistika, ternyata instrumen pengukur kadar air dalam tanah berbasis mikrokontroler AT89C51mempunyai unjuk kerja yang mendekati hasil pengukuran instrumen soil tester standard denganprosentase penyimpangan 0 sampai 1,4%. Sedangkan dari hasil uji harga t = 0,06 dengan d.b. = 10 dandari tabel distribusi t pada t.s.0,05 = 1,81 dan t.s.0,01 = 2,76, terjadi perbedaan yang tidak signifikan padataraf 0,01.Kata kunci: Kadar air dalam tanah, Mikrokontroler, Analog to Digital Converter, LCD

Abstract

ABSTRAK I Made Sudana. 2012. Determinasi Etos Kerja, Disiplin Kerja dan Sikap Professional, Terhadap Kinerja Kerja Guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Ubud. Tesis ini sudah dikoreksi dan diperiksa oleh Prof. Dr. Nyoman Natajaya. M. Pd. dan Prof. Dr. Nengah Bawa Atmaja. MA. Kata kunci : Etos Kerja, Disiplin Kerja, Sikap Profesional, Kinerja Guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui besarnya determinasi variabel bebas Etos kerja (X1), Disiplin kerja (X2), Sikap Professional (X3) terhadap variabel terikat Kinerja guru (Y). penelitian ini merupakan ex post facto. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Ubud, dengan sampel sebanyak 113 orang. Sampel ditentukan dengan teknik stratified proportional random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuisioner model sekala Likert dengan lima pilihan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru di SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Ubud sebanyak 160 orang yang diambil secara proportional random sampling. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis regresi sederhana, regresi ganda, korelasi ganda dan sumbangan efektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa; (1) terdapat determinasi signifikan antara etos kerja guru terhadap kinerja guru dengan determinasi sebesar 0,269 dengan persamaan regresi    Y = 94.398+0,590 X1 dan sumbangan efektif 12,16. (2) terdapat determinasi signifikan antara disiplin kerja dengan kinerja guru dengan detrminasi sebesar 0,276 dengan persamaan regresi Y = 105,059 + 0,505.X2 sumbangan efektif 18,64. (3) terdapat determinasi signifikan antara sikap professional terhadap kinerja guru dengan determinasi sebesar 0,302 dengan persamaan regresi Y = 81,314+0,656.X3 dan sumbangan efektif 19,44. (4) terdapat determinasi signifikan antara etos kerja, disiplin kerja, dan sikap professional secara bersama-sama dengan kinerja guru dan determinasi sebesar 0,502. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa secara terpisah dan simultan terdapat determinasi yang signifikan antara etos kerja, disiplin kerja, dan sikap profesional terhadap kinerja guru. Dengan demikian ketiga variabel tersebut dapat dijadikan prediktor tingkat kecenderungan kinerja guru-guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Ubud. Oleh karena itu usaha-usaha untuk meningkatkan etos kerjam disiplin kerja, dan mengembangkan sikap profesional guru perlu terus dilakukan.  ABSTRACT   I Made Sudana. The main objective of this study was to know the magnitude determination of the Work Ethic of independent variables (X1), Work Disciplined (X2), Professional Attitude (X3) toward the dependent variable of Teacher Performance (Y). This study was in the form of expose facto. This research was conducted at the Junior High School in the District of Ubud, with 113 people as samples. Sample was determined by proportional stratified random sampling technique. The used of research instrument was questionnaire Likertscale model with five choices. Data analysis was performed by descriptive analysis and regression analysis and correlation correlative. Descriptive analysis was conducted to determine the likelihood of each variable with the categories of always, often, sometimes, rarely, and never. Correlation analysis was used to find out the relationship of X1, X2, and X3 variables either individually or together with the Yvariable. Simple regression analysis was performed to determine the regression equation of the X1, X2, X3 variables, together with Y. The results showed that: 1. Work ethic resulted a positive and significant effect on the teachers’performance with the determination of 0.269 with a regression equation Y = 94 398 +0.590 X1. 2. Work discipline resulteda positive and significant effect on teachers’performance with the determination of 0.276 with a regression equation Y = 105.059 + 0.505. X2. 3. Professional attitude resulted a positive and significant effect on the teachers’performance with the determination of 0.302 with a regression equation Y = 81.314 +0.656. X3. Work ethics, work discipline, professional attitude resulted a positive and significant effect on the teachers’performance with the determination of the equation Y = 0.502 + 0.270 45.785 +0.423 X1 X2 X3 effective contribution ofteachers’work ethic  = 12.16% effective contribution of teachers’discipline = 18 , 64 the effective contribution of professional attitude of teachers 19.44%.

Abstract

The Mosaic Virus Infections in Soybean Plants in Bali This study aimed to detect Soybean Mosaic Virus (SMV), Cucumber Mosaic Virus (CMV), and Potyvirus that infect soybean plants in Bali. The study was conducted from January to March 2017 located in nine observation locations of soybean crops throughout Bali. Observations were made on the symptoms found in the field and the incidence of the disease was determined by the Elisa (Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay) serology test by using SMV, CMV, and Potyvirus antibodies.Field observations showed that the percentage of disease incidence with mosaic symptoms was 50%. Serologic assay results showed that in all samples tested were infected by CMV, SMV and Potyvirus and multiple infections between CMV-SMV, CMV-Potyvirus, and Potyvirus-SMV. Serological test results from the mosaic symptomatic samples showed the highest CMV infection occurred in Klungkung (60%), and the lowest were in Buleleng, Jembrana, Tabanan and Bangli respectively (30%). The highest SMV infection occurred in Denpasar (60%) and the lowest occurred in Karangasem (30%). The highest Potyvirus infection occurred in Denpasar (30%) and the lowest occurred or did not occur Potyvirus infection in Jembrana and Bangli (0.0%). Through serological tests, soybean plant samples from nine observation sites of soybean plants throughout Bali were positive against the antisera of SMV, CMV, and Potyvirus.

Abstract

The impact of solvent rhizobacteria phosphate on the growth and resistence of soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merill) towards mosaic virus phatogen This study aims to obtain isolates rizobakteri are able to increase the growth and survival of soybean plants. The design used was a randomized block design (RAK) with 14 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment consisted of 13 isolates of rhizobacteria and one as a control (no isolates rhizobakteria). This research is a pot with plant growth and survival variables include; plant height, number of branches, number of leaves, chlorophyll content, number of pods, number of seeds and seed weight, and predict the yield per hectare, phenol, salicylic acid and peroxidase.The results showed three isolates rizobakteri, which isolates Rf 53, Rf 6 and Rf 26 has a better ability than the other rhisobakteria isolates. The third isolates capable of increased plant height, number of branches, number of leaves, chlorophyll, number of pods, number of seeds and seed weight, and predict the yield per hectare. Events systemic acquired resistance (SAR) in plants, namely the accumulation of phenolic compounds, salicylic acid, peroxide, and jasmonik acid. Jasmonic acids able to produces related-proteins (PR-proteins) which is really functional for plants resistance towards pests or diseases.

Abstract

Isolation and Selection of Antagonistic Bacteria to Control Stem Rot Disease on Vanilla Plant (Vanilla planifolia Andrews) by In Vitro Test. Isolation, selection, and identification of effective microbes are important steps to obtain biological agents. The perpose of this research was to get potential bacteria as controlling agents for stem rot of vanilla. The research was conducted at Plant Disease Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University, Denpasar, from December 2017 to February 2018. The research comprised of isolation and identification the pathogen of stem rot of vanilla, pathogenicity test, isolation and identification of antagonistic bacteria, in vitro test of antagonistic bacteria ability to controled the pathogen of stem rot of vanilla, and hypersensitive response of antagonistic bacteria on tobacco plant. The result showed that the pathogen of stem rot on vanilla plants was identified as Fusarium oxysporum. There of 21 isolates of bacteria that has been isolated from field, there were 7 isolates could suppress of F. oxysporum growth are isolates P001, P002, P003, P004, P005, BM02, and BM03. In vitro test of antagonistic bacterial with F. oxysporum showed that isolate P002 could suppress pathogen growth with the highest percentage (98,36%), P005 (98,34%), P001 (92,78%), P003 (82,02%), P004 (80,34%), BM02 (71,80%), and BM03 (66,70%). Hypersensitive respons test showed that isolates P001, P002, P003, P004, P005, BM02, and BM03 weren?t pathogenic for plants.

Abstract

Correlation Soil Physical and Chemical Properties with Disease Incidence on Plants Clove (Syzygium aromaticum L.) Caused by White Root Fungus (Rigidoporus sp.) in Unggahan Village, Buleleng Regency Correlation soil physical and chemical properties with disease incidence on plants clove (Syzygium aromaticum L.) caused by white root fungus (Rigidoporus sp.) In the village of Unggahan, Buleleng Regency aims to determine the correlation between physical and chemical properties of the soil with the disease incidence the clove plant wilt disease and the rate of infection in plants cloves.The method used in this study is a survey method.This research was conducted at three locations of the different by taking five samples randomly cloves at each study site.The results showed that soil physical and chemical properties that have a real relationship with the percentage of wilt disease in plants clove is soil organic matter, soil pH, soil temperature, and soil moisture.Soil organic matter, soil pH, and soil temperature has a negative correlation with the percentage of wilt disease on the clove plant, while soil moisture has a positive correlation with the disease incidence in plants cloves.The infection rate in the three study sites showed the same average is 0.1 per unit per day. Abstract

Application of Biological Agent and Humus to Suppress Population Fusariumoxysporum f.sp. cubense the Cause of Banana Stem Rot. The study aimed to determine the interaction between P. fluorescens, Trichoderma spp. fungus, and humus in suppressing the population of Fusariumoxysporum f.sp. cubense in the soil. The design used was a randomized blockdesign (RBD) of 2 factors namely antagonistic microbes and humus. There were 18treatments with 3 replications so that 54 experimental units were obtained. Thevariables observed were the population of Foc, population of P. fluorescens,population of Trichoderma spp., and soil pH. The results showed that thecombination of biological agent and humus could reduce the population of Foc. Thehigher concentration of humus combined with biological agent showed thedecreasing population of Foc which causes rot of banana stems.
