Abstract

Abstract   This research was aimed at describing the extracurricular activities of music at SMA PGRI 2 Padang. This was descriptive research whuch used qualitative approach. The result of the research indicated that the extracurricular activities of music were designed based on the goals to be achieved. Encouranging the students to be creative and have skills in music by teaching the basic technique of playing music were the preliminary efforts done by the teacher. In this phase the teacher also trained the students to play particular music individually. The activities started from teaching the students to play rhythm guitar. Melodic guitar, bass, drum, vocal and the basic technique of playing traditional music instuments such as talempong, gendang tambua and sarunai.   Kata kunci : Kegiatan, Ekstrakurikuler, Musik

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the implementation of analysis of examination questions by the cultural arts teachers at Class X of Accounting Department in SMK Negeri 2 Pariaman. This type of study was qualitative research with using descriptive analysis method. The instrument of the study was the researcher and it was assisted by interview note, observation note, and documentation files. The researcher was involved in the research as a participant observer. The types of data were primary and secondary with qualitative data analysis techniques that described the problem. The result of this study indicates that the analysis of examination questions of cultural art (music) done by the teachers of SMK Negeri 2 Pariaman, which have been tested on the final exam in odd semester 2018/2019, shows the results of the existence of categories of questions that are easy, medium and difficult, based on the results of examination of students correct answers which have been recapitulated and summarized. there are six items whose material are not related to the subject, the description of questions are too broad and the questions that the teachers have never been explained in the Indonesian traditional music insight material, then the questions can be removed, replaced or corrected. Abstract

Abstract This article aims to improve students' learning motivation by using audiovisual media in learning the art of music. The type of this research was classroom action research held in 2 cycles. The object of the research was the students of class VII-3, amounting to 32 students with 15 male students and 17 female students. The research instrument was the researcher herself and the teacher of Art Culture as observer. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, questionnaire, literature study, and motivational observation sheet with happy indicator, attention, concentration, and persistence. The results showed that learning the art of music by using audiovisual media could improve students' learning motivation in class VII-3, and had a good impact on the process of learning music. This statement was evidenced by the average percentage of each indicator of motivation to learn which was on the indicator happy with the average percentage of 59% increased to 78%, and the indicator attention with the average percentage of 44% increased to 76%, the indicator concentration with the average- average percentage 45% increased to 78%, and persistence indicator with average 42% percentage increased to 73%. Thus, from result of observation obtained that the result of student learning motivation in cycle I with average 47% categorized medium and increased in cycle II become 76% categorized very high. Moreover, the results of questionnaires that have researchers distributed to students there was an enhancement that was in cycle I obtained by 76% percentage and in cycle II 88%. In summary, authors can draw the conclusion that the using audiovisual media learning art music in class VII-3 SMP Negeri 1 Painan has succeeded increase student learning motivation. Keywords:    Improving Learning, Motivation, Audiovisual Media, Art and Culture

Abstract

Abstract  This study aims to describe how the implementation of pianika learning by using the peer tutoring method at class X IPA 3 on cultural art subject in SMA N 7 Padang.Type of the research was qualitative with using descriptive analysis method approach. The main instrument of this study was the researcher and it was supported with supporting instruments such as stationery and camera. Techniques of data collection were carried out by doing observation, interview and literature study. The steps in analyzing data were collecting, describing, and making conclusion.The result shows that in the implementation of the peer tutoring method in SMA N 7 Padang obtains satisfactory result for teacher and students. Students who initially have problems in capturing the subject are already able to receive the lesson well and students who become tutors also get new experiences such as they can speak in public and also learn how to share knowledge. During learning, the teacher is a facilitator and motivator who actively guides the students. Based on the result of the pianika practice examination, all of students get grades above the KKM or above 80 and only one that is incomplete because having special needs. Keywords: learn pianics, Peer tutor methods

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the learning conditions of Cultural Arts (Music) in Class VII of SMP Negeri 3 Lunang, South Coastal District, where the background of the problem is the implementation of the 2006 KTSP curriculum, and the problem of lack of learning activities and learning facilities. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive analysis approach. The object of this study is a cultural arts teacher who teaches in class VII of Lunang 3 Public Middle School, Pesisir Selatan District. Data is collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature. The results of the study indicate that the convergence of art and culture learning in SMP Negeri 3 Lunang, Pesisir Selatan District, which still applies KTSP, has raised various problems regarding the conditions of learning in the arts and culture. Teachers who often do not carry out learning, inappropriate music art subject matter, and inadequate learning facilities have caused the conditions of learning arts and culture in this school to experience shortcomings and in accordance with the expected targets.Keywords: Learning, Curriculum, Cultural Arts (Music)

Abstract

This research purpose to for describe and explain how applying of method study of CTL in study of legitimate stage. Research type qualitative with descriptive approach of analysis. Technique data collecting through book study, interview and observation. Result of this research find that study steps conducted is forming group (learning comunity). Giving modeling, question and answer (questioning), student find Iesson items (inkuiri), conducting refleksion and authentic assessment to student. Assessment taken to passing test practice to the fore class grouply, while its value is group value and individual value. Abstract

AbstractThis article aims to describe the activities of self development playing guitar in junior high 30-Country field. This type of research is qualitative research methods a descriptive analysis. The research was carried out at 22 students and coaches as its object, which is involved in the activity of self development playing guitar in junior high the land even semester Pasture 30 years teaching 2016/2017. The collection of data through observation, interview, documentation and library studies. The results showed that the implementation of the activities of the self development playing guitar in junior high 30 Pasture Land has been getting high from appreciative students, although at the time of exercise there are students who do not attend practice. As for the findings of the study showed that the implementation of the activities of the self development of guitar at the school had been done properly. It can be proved by ketercapaian students in material and latihanuntuk able to play guitar, guitar finger exercises, know, play tangganada, fingered and finally being able to play the song delman exceptional individually and groups.Keywords: activities, self development, guitar

Abstract

AbstractThis article aims to determine the effect of teacher?s pedagogical competence on student learning outcomes in learning music art at SMPN 2 Batusangkar. The type of this research was quantitative research with a correlational method. The techniques used in order to adjust the research instruments were questionnaire and documentation instruments. The steps taken in analyzing data were quantifying data. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship or correlation between pedagogical competencies towards student learning outcomes at SMPN 2 Batusangkar. This was evidenced by the results through the questionnaire. It was found that 32% or as many as 11 students who stated that pedagogic competence always affects student learning outcomes, 66% or as many as 23 students argued frequently, while students who answer sometimes affect student learning outcomes like 0% or 0 students, then 0% of students answered rarely and 2% answered never. In summary, pedagogic competency towards students learning outcomes had a perfect correlation or relationship to student learning outcomes learning art music which was stated by the determinant coefficient value (r2) of 0.820 or 82% while 18% was influenced by other factors thus H0 was rejected and H1 accepted.Keywords:    correlation, Pedagogic Competence of teachers, the Learning Outcomes of students of art and culture

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine whether audiovisual media influences students? learning outcomes in Cultural Arts (music) at class XI of SMA Negeri 1 2X11 Enam Lingkung. This type of research was an experimental study with a population of students of SMA Negeri 1 2X11 Enam Lingkung Padang Pariaman Regency. The variables in this study are the independentand the dependent variable. This research instrument used were the objective questions for the initial test (pretest) and objective questions for the final test (post-test). The techniques in analyzing data were normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. The results of the study show that there are differences of musical art learning outcomes between the use of audiovisual media withconventional methodin the learning of Cultural art (Music) in the even semester in SMAN 1 2X11 Enam Lingkung. This is proven through hypothesis testing with tarithmetic= 3.628 and ttable= 2.008. It can be concluded that, trithmetic>ttable in  = 5% thenH0 is rejected and H1is accepted.Keywords: audiovisual media, learning outcomes, cultural arts (music)
