Abstract

Sifat mekanika dari kayu gergajian adalah persyaratan terpenting dalam banyak penerapan khususnya untuk keperluan konstruksi. Paper ini merupakan lanjutan dari penelitian sifat fisika kayu di tiga tempat tumbuh (Panggang, Playen, Nglipar) hutan rakyat Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Pengujian sifat mekanika dilakukan mengacu pada British Standards 373:57. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kayu yang diteliti termasuk dalam kelas kuat II-III. Dari perhitungan analisis varian, tempat tumbuh berpengaruh nyata pada modulus patah (MoR) keteguhan lengkung statik, keteguhan tekan tegak lurus serat maksimum, keteguhan geser, dan kekerasan. Secara keseluruhan, kecuali untuk nilai MoR, sampel kayu dari Nglipar memberikan nilai kekuatan yang lebih tinggi. Pengaruh arah aksial dan radial pohon secara umum tidak begitu terlihat pada semua parameter kekuatan kecuali di keteguhan belah. Meskipun berkorelasi secara linier, hanya korelasi moderat yang diamati dari hubungan sifat mekanika (MoR/keteguhan geser) dan kerapatan dasar. Tidak ada korelasi nyata antara kerapatan dasar dan modulus elastisitas keteguhan lengkung statik serta antara kerapatan dasar dan keteguhan tekan sejajar serat maksimum.Kata kunci: Tectona grandis, sifat mekanika, kerapatan dasar, hutan rakyat, Gunungkidul. A study of teak wood quality from community forests in Gunungkidul  IV. Mechanical PropertiesAbstractMechanical properties of sawn timber are the most important characteristics in many applications, particularly for structural timber. The previous paper in this series reported on the physical properties of teak trees at different sites (Panggang, Playen, Nglipar) from community forests in Gunungkidul regency. In this study, the mechanical properties were evaluated according to British Standards 373:57. The results showed that the timber were classified in the II-III of strength class. By analysis of variance, site factor affected the values of modulus of rupture (MoR) in statical bending strength, maximum compression perpendicular to grain strength, shear strength and hardness. In general, except for MoR, the wood samples from Nglipar gave higher strength levels. Except for cleavage strength, the effects of the axial and radial position of the tree on mechanical properties were mostly negligible. Although linearly related, only modest correlations were observed between the mechanical parameters (MoR/shear strength) and basic density. No significant correlation was found between the values of basic density and modulus of elasticity of static bending strength as well as between basic density and the strength of maximum compression parallel to grain.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variasi sifat fisika kayu dari pohon jati yang tumbuh di 3 tempat berbeda (Panggang, Playen, Nglipar) hutan rakyat di kabupaten Gunungkidul. Parameter yang diukur adalah kadar air segar (KAS), kerapatan dasar (KD), dan penyusutan linier maupun volumetrik. Sebanyak 3 pohon di tiap lokasi ditebang kemudian tiap pohon dibagi menjadi 3 potongan di posisi aksial yaitu pangkal, tengah, dan ujung. Tiap potongan tersebut kemudian dibagi 3 dalam posisi radial yaitu dekat hati, tengah, dan dekat kulit. Kisaran nilai KD dan KAS adalah 504-672 kg/cm3 dan 47-125%, secara berturutan. Hasil analisis keragaman menunjukkan sampel Playen bagian ujung cenderung memberikan nilai rerata KD lebih tinggi demikian juga bagian dekat kulit pada arah radial. Sampel Nglipar memberikan nilai kisaran KAS paling rendah (47-70%) sedangkan pada posisi radial nilai rerata tertinggi diamati di dekat hati (100,51%). Kisaran nilai penyusutan longitudinal, radial, dan tangensial adalah 0,39-0,88%; 2,75-3,93%; dan 4,30-6,68%, secara berturutan. Hasil analisis keragaman menunjukkan pengaruh faktor tempat tumbuh dimana sampel Nglipar memberikan nilai penyusutan longitudinal dan tangensial terendah. Nilai penyusutan total dalam kisaran 5,26-15,07%, sedangkan perbandingan penyusutan tangensial dan radial (rasio T/R) antara 1,38-2,13. Secara umum, kerapatan dasar yang diukur mempunyai nilai yang tidak jauh dengan nilai dari beberapa penelitian terhadap jati konvensional serta lebih tinggi dari beberapa jati unggul dari kultur jaringan pohon umur muda. Perlu diperhatikan adalah tingginya penyusutan dan ketidakstabilan dimensi yang diukur di beberapa sampel dalam eksperimen ini.Kata kunci: Tectona grandis, sifat fisika, kerapatan dasar, hutan rakyat, GunungkidulA study of teak wood quality from community forests in Gunungkidul III. Physical propertiesAbstractThe objective of this work is to explore the variation of physical properties of wood from teak trees grown in 3 different sites (Panggang, Playen, Nglipar) from community forests of Gunungkidul Regency. The measured parameters were green moisture content (GMC), basic density (BD), and linear as well as volumetric shrinkage. The three trees were collected at each site then were divided into three axial parts i.e. base, center, and top of the trees. Further, each axial part was divided into 3 radial positions i.e. near pith, middle, and near bark. The range of BD and GMC values were 504-672 kg/cm3 and 47-125%, consecutively. The result of analysis of variance showed that samples of Playen at the top parts tended to give higher average values of all physical properties measured as well as the samples at near bark of radial position. Samples from Nglipar exhibited the lowest range of GMC values (47-70%) whereas the highest values in the radial direction were observed in the near pith samples (100.51%). The range values of longitudinal, radial and tangential shrinkage were 0.39-0.88%; 2.75-3.93%; and 4.30-6.68%, respectively. By analysis of variance, site factor significantly affected of which samples of Nglipar showed the lowest levels of longitudinal and tangential shrinkage. The total shrinkage values were 5.26-15.07% as the T/R ratio were 1.38-2.13. In general, the BD levels of teak from Gunungkidul were comparable to those reported for conventional for teaks plantation and higher than those of young tissues cultural teaks. However, attention should be taken as the high magnitude of shrinkage as well as dimensional stability showed by several samples in this experiment.

Abstract

Absorption of heavy metals by plants is influenced by soil and plant biology. Heavy metals are absorbed into plant tissues through the root, then enter the food chain cycle. Metal will accumulate in body tissues and can have negative impacts for humans, animals, and plants when exceeding the limit of tolerance. Heavy metal accumulation in plant tissues can directly affect plant growth and production, can indirectly affect human health when consuming food contaminated heavy metals. The research objective was to determine the ability of biological fertilizers containing bacteria Azotobacter sp. and Pseudomonas sp., in absorbing heavy metals (Cu and Pb) contained in landfill waste compost, which is used to fertilize crops corn (baby corn). The research methodologyuses a split plot design arranged in Completely Randomized Design with 3 blocks as replicates. The first factor that serves as the main plot of the biological fertilizer, consisting of two cedars, namely: no biological fertilizers and biological fertilizers. The second factor that functions as a sub plot that is a combination of landfill waste compost with NPK fertilizer, consisting of four treatments, namely: Compost waste landfill: no fertilizer NPK = 1: 0; compost waste landfill: NPK = 2/3 : 1/3; compost waste landfill: fertilizer NPK = 1/3: 2/3Without landfill waste compost: NPK = 0: 1. The results showed that administration of biological fertilizers in combination with compost waste landfill is more dominant for increasing and improving soil physical chemistry, such as increasing soil pH, nutrients nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium and cation exchange capacity (KPK). Biological fertilizer containing bacteria Azotobacter sp. and Pseudomonas sp. may reduce the uptake of heavy metals Cu to below the threshold of 2.526 to 15.79 ppm, the maximum content of Cu ranges between 20-100 ppm. The mean content of Pb in tissues and cobs of corn is above the maximum limit of 29.80 to 42.69 ppm, which is still allowed Pb content between 0.1 to 10 ppm. Means baby corn crop is not safe for consumption.key words: compost from the landfill, heavy metals, biological fertilizer

Abstract

Blockchain is the core technology used to create cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin. As one part of the fourth industrial Revolution since the invention of steam engines, electricity, and information technology, blockchain technology has begun to be applied in areas such as finance, judiciary, and trade. Blockchain technology uses decentralized, distributed and transparency techniques for data security. This research aims to determine the implementation of blockchain technology in the field of education, especially in the Data Security section. The study uses two methods namely the mind mapping method and literature review. The results of this study showed that with the presence of blockchain technology, the data is more secure from attacks from both inside and outside because it passes through two levels of security, namely encryption and decentralized data.

Abstract

Abstract Studies related to aspect of resilience of Yogyakarta, an earthquake site, are important. The result of studies can be used to alleviate people from the desperate situation. This research aimed to explore the resilience of the teachers and staffs of the SMU Negeri 1 Pundong based on their locus of control or LOC (internal and external). The subsequent aim was to exploredifferences in psychological aspects that build resilience between internal and external locus of control. Thirty people were recruited as participants, in which 16 of them has internal LOC and 14 had external LOC. IPC scale of Locus of Control based on Levenson and resilience scale were employed as instruments. The resilience scale consisted of seven aspects: emotional regulation, impulse control, empathy,optimism, causal analysis, self-eficency, and reaching-out. It was developed by on Reivich ad Shatte method. Results showed that there was no significant difference in the levels of resilience between internal and external LOC (t= 1.343, p=0.190). the following analysis showed that the two groups(internal and external LOC) differed n two aspects, empathy (t=2.722, p< 0.05) and reaching out (t=2.389, p< 0.05). the meaning and possible causes of the result were discussed. Abstract

Setiap perguruan tinggi pastinya memiliki website yang gunanya untuk memberikan informasi yang akurat seputar kampus kepada civitas akademika kampus, tetapi belum tentu memiliki website untuk merangkum semua data perkuliahan yang berada di kampus, yang kebanyakan hanya informasi dari mulut ke mulut yang belum tentu informasinya itu benar atau salah. Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam bidang informasi khususnya pada sistem pemasaran dan pembelajaran secara online telah bertransformasi dari bentuk konvensional kedalam bentuk digital, maka dibutuhkan redesign system agar informasi perkuliahan dapat dilakukan dengan cara intelligence. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan dan mengembangkan sistem Informasi Magister Teknik Informasi dan Viewboard yang sedang berjalan agar dapat diketahui kualitas informasi dan efektivitas informasi. Dalam penelitian ini membutuhkan studi kuantitatif dengan melibatkan lima angkatan mahasiswa S2 pengguna atau iMe author di web MTI, data dikumpulkan dalam empat minggu awal januari 2017 menggunakan penyebaran kuesioner. Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini merupakan salah satu bentuk pendidikan yang mengarahkan pada tumbuh kembang anak. Pada anak usia dini, anak memiliki rasa ingin tahu yang sangat tinggi.Media pembelajaran merupakan media pendukung dalam proses belajar mengajar. Seiring dengan berkembangnya teknologi, multimedia dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Pembelajaran berbasis multimedia dapat meningkatkan kualitas belajar siswa dan dalam pembelajarannya akan lebih menarik minat siswa dalam memberikan pemahaman materi yang mudah karena penyajiannya yang interaktif. Dengan adanya multimedia interaktif ini juga dapat memperkenalkan perangkat Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi pada siswa dengan melalui aplikasi pembelajaran berbasis multimedia.Perancangan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis aplikasi ini menggunakan animasi hewan.Perancangan media animasi interaktif ini menggunakan softwareAdobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, dan Adobe Flash.Yang menjadi tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan diantaranya konsep, pengumpulan data, perancangan, dan pengujian.Selain untuk merancang aplikasi, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menguji kelayakan aplikasi sebagai media pembelajaran. Hasil media animasi interaktif berbasis aplikasi ini telah dilaksanakan pada proses belajar mengajar di RA YASIR Tangerang. Dengan adanya media animasi interaktif sebagai media pembelajaran ini siswa dapat mengenali hewan dan dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. &nbsp; Kata kunci: Anak Usia Dini, Media Pembelajaran, Multimedia Interaktif.

Abstract

Pengendalian peralatan listrik rumah tangga secara manual menyebabkan penggunaan tidak terkontrol dengan baik, apalagi jika pengontrolan yang harus dilakukan harus pada ruang yang berbeda dan lampu listrik yang dikontrol secara manual. Untuk menghemat waktu dan mengurangi resiko lupa mematikan lampu maka dibuatlah sistem pengontrolan menggunakan smartphone Operating Sistem Android karena mudah digunakan dan dapat dibawa kemana-mana. Operating Sistem open source milik google, yang diberi nama ANDROID sebagai alat pengontrolan dari jarak jauh (remote) dengan memanfaatkan jaringan internet nirkabel (wireless internet). Untuk mengontrol sebuah perangkat listrik rumah tangga diperlukan sebuah IP sebagai identitas dari perangkat tersebut, untuk itu perlu ditanamkan sebuah TCP/IP sebagai media penyimpanan IP. Selain itu TCP/IP Starter Kit juga berfungsi sebagai penghubung antara smartphone dengan perangkat yang akan menerjemahkan perintah yang dikirimkan oleh smartphone untuk dieksekusi mikrokontroler ATMega328. Mikrokontroller berperan sebagai otak bagi device hardware. Antara smartphone dan perangkat, masing ? masing diberikan alamat identitas berupa IP Address, Subnet Mask dan Gateway sehingga keduanya dapat saling berkomunikasi. Pada penelitian menggunakan metode perancangan yang digambarkan dalam sebuah flowchart, kemudian pada metode pengujian menggunakan metode pengujian black box. Sistem untuk mengontrol lampu hanya menekan button yang ada pada layer android dan ketika berhasil maka akan tampil ON/OFF pada layer tersebut. &nbsp; Kata Kunci: android, mikrokontroller, wireless, TCP/IP

Abstract

Pengembangan prototipe executive dashboard pada lembaga pengelola dana CSR merupakan penelitian yang dilakukan dalam rangka mengimplementasikan sebuah sistem executive dashboard yang dapat membantu manajemen lembaga pengelola dana CSR dalam mengambil keputusan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di CCSR (Cilegon Corporate Social Responsibility). Pada saat ini CCSR belum memiliki sistem dashboard. Pembangunan executive dashboard dibangun berdasarkan model pengembangan dashboard berbasis user centered design dengan menggunakan model prototipe berbasis OOAD (Object-oriented analysis and design). Prototipe diuji dengan menggunakan pengujian ISO 9126. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah prototipe executive dashboard arsip digital yang dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu referensi pimpinan lembaga CSR dalam mengambil keputusan. &nbsp; Kata Kunci: CSR, CCSR, Dashboard, ISO 9126

Abstract

Student learning motivation is one aspect to obtain good learning outcomes. With good learning outcomes, the application of the knowledge gained will be useful for students. the current application of the system of teaching in an evening class Raharja university been computerized for the submission of learned, but it had not been optimal and efficient because of teaching materials that can not be obtained from anywhere and at anytime as well as teaching and learning activities and discussions carried out only in the class so that students tend to be saturated and show the emotional symptoms such as lack of zeal in carrying out lectures, so that suggests a self learning disabilities in students. learning difficulties allegedly closely associated with the motivation to learn owned. Thus the need for a new learning method is applied so that students can termotiviasi and efficiency in learning. In this study the application of the system of learning that will be used is to utilize Rinfo in the adoption of Gmail and iMe in the adoption of Wordpress so that lessons learned are easily digested and fun and will make students more motivated to learn determination of students to be more active. Liveliness characterized by the activity of the post and comment on the iMe so that it can be measured with a dashboard on the front page of an iMe Class which will be a medium for decision support lecturers to give the value of the assignment to students. for the research method used is qualitative, to examine the population or sample data collection using research instruments, analysis of quantitative data which will then be tested for validity and reliability so that we can conclude effect of the use Rinfo and iMe in increasing motivation and efficiency of learning in students.
