Abstract

Subak irrigation system beside as an appropriate technological system, but as acultural system as well. This fenomenon indicate that basically subak irrigationsystem is a technological system that has been developed as a part of cultural society.Because subak system is viewed as a technological system, so this system has anability to be transformed. Meanwhile, limitation of the ability of subak irrigationsystem to overcome the extreem conditions, basically can be solved through theharmony and togetherness, based on the Tri Hita Karana (THK) principles as a basicof subak system. Futhermore, through inverse technique, it can be seen the ability ofsubak system, that can be transformed. And then, through Fuzzy Set Theory, it can beseen the dominance or ranks of the all elements of subak system, which are also as aconsideration on the transformation process.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model konsepsional dan model hipotetik LIS-5C dalam Pendidikan Teknologi dan Kejuruan. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu tahap studi literatur, perumusan model konsepsional, dan perumusan model hipotetik LIS-5C. Model konsepsioanal LIS-5C mencakup: (1) komponen filosofis: esensialisme dan pragmatisme; (2) komponen teoretis: teori belajar kognitivisme dan konstruktivisme, teori pendidikan kejuruan untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan; (3) komponen metodologis critical thinking and problem solving; communication, collaboration, and cellebration; creativity and innovation; dan (4) komponen teknis berpikir secara kreatif, bekerja secara kreatif dengan orang lain, menerapkan inovasi; memecahkan masalah, berkomunikasi secara efektif, bekerjasama dengan orang lain. Model hipotetik LIS-5C bermuara kepada skill belajar memecahkan masalah secara kreatif berdasarkan skill belajar berpikir kreatif, bekerja kreatif dengan orang lain, dan mengimplementasikan hasil inovasi dalam pemecahan masalah. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi: (1) kemajuan penulisan tesis; (2) kompetensi penulisan tesis; (3) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penulisan tesis; (4) faktor-faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi penulisan tesis; (5) tingkat kekreatifan capaian hasil tesis mahasiswa S2 Program Studi Pendidikan Teknologi dan Kejuruan (PTK). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian evaluasi formatif bersifat internal dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei hingga Oktober 2014. Responden penelitian mahasiswa S2 PTK angkatan 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 sebanyak 59 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket skala Likert dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemaju-an penulisan tesis termasuk kategori sangat baik. Kompetensi mahasiswa dalam penulisan tesis termasuk kategori sangat baik. Penulisan tesis dipengaruhi oleh faktor dalam dan luar kampus. Faktor-faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi penulisan tesis adalah ketersediaan waktu diskusi dengan dosen pembimbing, kemampuan menerapkan metode penelitian dan analisis data,  beban tugas di tempat kerja, kemampuan memahami literatur asing, dukungan dosen pembim-bing, proses administrasi Pascasarjana, motivasi cepat lulus, dukungan keluarga, dan beasiswa. Tingkat kekreatifan mahasiswa dalam penulisan tesis termasuk kategori sangat baik.Kata kunci: evaluasi, penulisan tesis, kompetensi mahasiswa, Pendidikan Teknologi dan Kejuruan ______________________________________________________________ EVALUATION OF THESIS WRITING COMPETENCE OF MASTER’S DEGREE STUDENTS ON VOCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION STUDY PROGRAMAbstract This study aimed to evaluate: (1) the progress of writing a thesis; (2) the competence of writing a thesis; (3) factors that influence the writing of the thesis; (4) the dominant factors that influence the writing of the thesis; (5) creativity of students in writing a thesis. This study was an internal formative evaluation conducted in May and October 2014. Respondents of this study were master degree students on Vocational and Technology Education Study Programs class of 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 as many as 59 people. The data were collected using questionnaires and interviews. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that the progress of the thesis was classified in the excellent category. The competence of students in writing thesis was classified in very well category. Thesis writing is influenced by internal and exsternal campus factors. The dominant factors affecting the thesis were the availability of a discussion with the supervisor, the ability to apply research methods and data analysis, workload in the workplace, the ability to understand foreign literatur, supervisor support, administrative processes, motivation to pass quickly, family support, and scholarship. The level of creativity of students was clasified in the excellent category.Keywords: evaluation, thesis, student competence, Vocational and Technology Education

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi uji kompetensi siswa keahlian multimedia di SMK SeKota Yogyakarta, ditinjau dari aspek: (1) context; (2) input; (3) process; (4) product; dan (5) CIPP secara akumulatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada delapan SMK di kota Yogyakarta. Populasi adalah asesor, yang berjumlah 44 orang. Sampel dengan sampel jenuh (total). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Uji validitas dengan validitas isi melalui expert judgement, validitas konstruk dengan uji terbatas, dan dianalisis dengan korelasi Product Moment. Uji reliabilitas menggunakan Alpha Cronbach. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa uji kompetensi siswa keahlian multimedia di SMK Se-Kota Yogyakarta ditinjau dari aspek: (1) context termasuk kategori sangat sesuai (84,7%); (2) input termasuk dalam kategori sangat sesuai (87,61%); (3) process termasuk kategori sangat baik (89,94%); (4) product termasuk kategori sangat baik (82,78%); (5) CIPP secara akumulatif termasuk kategori sangat baik (86,62%). EVALUATION OF MULTIMEDIA SKILLS STUDENTS COMPETENCY TEST IN SMK YOGYAKARTAAbstractThis study aims to evaluate the multimedia skills students competency test in SMK Yogyakarta, in terms of (1) aspects of the context; (2) the input; (3) the process; (4) the product; and (5) CIPP aspects cumulatively. This study was conducted at eight vocational schools in the city of Yogyakarta. The population was assessors, amounting to 44 people. The sample used saturated or total sample. Data collection techniques used questionnaires. Test validity of the content validity is expert judgment and construct validity with product moment correlation formula. Test reliability was carried out with Alpha Cronbach. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that the multimedia skills students competency test in SMK Yogyakarta in terms of (1) aspects of the context fall into the very appropriate category (84.7 %); (2) the input are in the very appropriate category (87.61%); (3) the process are the excellent category (89.94%); (4 ) the product are the excellent category (82.78 %); (5) aspects of CIPP cumulatively are the excellent category (86.62%).

Abstract

The 21st century becomes a new challenge for productive teachers in developing their competency. One of the methods for developing their competency is conducting a continuous professional development program. This study was aimed at describing the quality of the continuous professional development of Automotive Engineering productive teachers. The type of this study was a survey study which used a descriptive quantitative method. The research subjects were all of the productive teachers of Automotive Engineering in Surakarta city with the total of 76 teachers. In conducting the study, a questionnaire was used as the data collection technique. Data analysis techniques consisted of editing, tabulating, analyzing and interpreting, and concluding. The results showed the quality of the continuous professional development of Automotive Engineering productive teachers in Surakarta city was categorized as low with the percentage of 59.2%. In conclusion, productive teachers of Automotive Engineering in Surakarta city did not actively participate in continuous professional development. The implications of this study showed that the teachers must increase self-awareness to do continuous professional development.

Abstract

Degradation process of irrigation infrastructures is one of the most important things and determines the last result ofAsset Management Planning (AMP). Degradation process will determine irrigation infrastructure’s lifetime, hence, it will influence the whole process of AMP, and finally influence the management of irrigation infrastructures. The objec- tive of this research aims at developing a model of the degradation rate of irrigation infrastructures, as one input for AMP, to support decision making in irrigation infrastructure management. This research was conducted at Sidandang, Pengasih, Jering and Mejing irrigation schemes located at Magelang, Kulonprogo, Sleman, and Bantul Districts, respectively. Statistical model was used to analysis the rate of degradation of irrigation infrastructures.  The model requires the relation between time for degradation and the number of degradations. The data used for analysis was secondary data of asset condition in several years. The result shows that linear model that has been regularly used before is not valid to predict the rate of degradation of irrigation infrastructures based on irrigation facet age. The exponential model was developed in order to find out the more suitable procedure to predict the rate of degradation process based on irrigation facet age, and effective for all types of facet at all types of asset. The rate of degradation process of irrigation asset condition is highly influenced by the rock composition factor and soil physical characteris- tics of asset construction.ABSTRAKProses degradasi prasarana irigasi merupakan salah satu bagian penting dan sangat menentukan hasil akhir perenca-naan manajemen aset (PMA). Hal ini disebabkan karena proses degradasi menentukan umur prasarana irigasi, yang akan mempengaruhi seluruh proses PMA, dan akhirnya juga akan mempengaruhi pengelolaan prasarana irigasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menyusun suatu model laju degradasi prasarana irigasi sebagai salah satu masukan kegiatan PMA untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan dalam pengelolaan prasarana irigasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Daerah Irigasi Sidandang, Pengasih, Jering, dan Mejing, masing­masing terletak di Kabu- paten Magelang, Kulonprogo, Sleman dan Bantul. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis laju degradasi prasa- rana irigasi adalah pemodelan statistik dengan menghitung hubungan variabel waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk setiap proses degradasi dan jumlah kerusakan. Data yang dipergunakan untuk analisis adalah data sekunder kondisi aset irigasi dalam waktu beberapa tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model linier yang biasa digunakan selama ini tidak handal untuk memprediksi laju degradasi sarana irigasi berdasarkan umur faset irigasi. Model eksponensial yang dikembangkan lebih handal untuk memprediksi laju degradasi prasarana irigasi berdasarkan umur faset irigasi, dan berlaku untuk semua tipe faset pada semua tipe aset. Proses degradasi kondisi aset irigasi sangat dipengaruhi oleh faktor komposisi batuan dan sifat fisik tanah penyusun aset.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh strategi pembelajaran, gaya belajar peserta didik, sarana praktik, dan media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar Patiseri di SMK SeGerbangkertasusila. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian expostfacto yang bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh strategi pembelajaran, gaya belajar peserta didik, sarana praktik, dan media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar Patiseri di SMK Se- Gerbangkertasusila.. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Se-Gerbangkertasusila yang mempunyai program studi patiseri. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 337 siswa. Pengumpulan data melalui angket. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah analisi regresi dan korelasi dengan taraf kesalahan 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut. 1) Sebanyak 51,04% siswa berpendapat bahwa strategi pembelajaran di SMK Se-Gerbangkertasusila berkategori sedang; 65,58% siswa memiliki gaya belajar berkategori sedang; 53,71% siswa berpendapat bahwa sarana praktik berkategori sedang, 47,18% siswa berpendapat bahwa media pembelajaran berkategori sedang; dan 62,31% siswa memiliki nilai di rapor berkategori sangat tinggi. 2)Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara strategi pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar mereka (rx1y = 0,735; p< 0,005); ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara gaya belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar(rx2y = 0,567; p< 0,005); terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara sarana praktik terhadap hasil belajar rx3y = 0,222; p< 0,005); terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar (rx4y = 0,735; p< 0,005); terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara bersama-sama antara strategi pembelajaran, gaya belajar, sarana praktik, dan media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar (rx1,x2,x3,x4,y = 0,749; p< 0,005). THE EFFECT OF STUDENT’S LEARNING STRATEGIES, LEARNING STYLES, PRACTICE FACILITIES, AND MEDIA ON LEARNING OUTCOMES OF VOCATIONAL PASTRY AND BAKERY IN GERBANGKERTASUSILAAbstractThis study aimed to describe the effect of student’s learning strategies, learning styles , practice facilities, and instructional media on learning outcomes in vocational pastry and bakery in Gerbangkertasusila.This research is expostfacto research to describe effect of student’s learning strategies, learning styles , practice facilities, and instructional media on learning outcomes in vocational pastry and bakery in Gerbangkertasusila.. This research was conducted at SMK Gerbangkertasusila having patiseridepartment. The sample was 337 students establised using a questionnairetechnique. The data were collected through questionnaires. Data analyze using correlation and regretation with correction 0,05. The results of the study are as follows :1) As many as 51.04 % of students found learning strategies in SMK Gerbangkertasusila being in a fair category; 65.58 % students have a moderate learning style category, 53.71 % of students found the practicum facilitiesbeing in afaircategory; 47.18 % of students found the instructional media being in afaircategory and 62.31 % of students have veryhigh grades in their report books.2) There is a positive and significant correlation between the learning strategies on student learning outcomes in patiseriCatering Skills Program SMK Gerbangkertasusila (rx1y = 0.735, p < 0.005); there a positive and significant correlation between students’ learning styles on learning their outcomes (rx2y = 0.567, p < 0.005), there is a positive and significant correlation between the practicum facilities on students learning outcomes (rx3y = 0.222 , p < 0.005), there is a positive and significant correlation between instructional media on the students’ learning outcomes (rx4y = 0.735, p < 0.005), there is a positive and significant effect oflearning strategies, learning styles, practicum facilities, and instructional media in aggregate on the students’ learning outcomes (rx1,x2,x3,x4,y = 0.749, p < 0.005).

Abstract

The poultry manure and vertisols matter have potency for reclaiming a soil. The research objectives was to study the effect of poultry manure (PM) and vertisols matter (VM) on availability and leaching of macro nutrient in coastal sandy soil treated by rainfall simulation. A laboratory experiment was conducted with lesymeters to measure nutrient leaching. The factorial 4 × 4 treatment applied was arranged by randomized completely block design with three replications. The first factor was level of PM consisted of 0, 20, 40, and 60 Mg ha-1. The second one wasthe level of VM consisted of 0, 5, 10, and 15%. Variables observed were soil physical and chemical properties such as bulk density (BD), particle density (PD), porosity, pF 2.54, pF 4.2, available water capacity (AWC), permeability, cation exchange capacity (CEC), available macro nutrients (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, and S) by Morgan Wolf extraction, and the rate of macro nutrient leaching measuared by Spectrophotometry and Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry. Result of the research showed that application of PM and VM in the sandy soil decreased soil PD and BD, increased soil porosity and AWC, decreased soil permeability, and slightly increased soil CEC. Application of PM and VM increased soil available nutrient in the sandy soil. Up to 60 Mg ha-1 dose PM increased soil available nutrient, while 10 to 15% dose, VM did not increased it. The rank of nutrient leaching from high to low by rain simulation was N-NO3 -> SO4 = > K+ > Ca2+. Leaching of K and N-NH4+ could be reduced by soil amendment. Combination of PM 60 Mg ha-1 and VM 10% was the best soil amendment for increasing nutrient availability and decreasing nutrient leaching in the sandy soil.Keywords: available nutrient, coastal sandy soil, leaching, poultry manure, vertisols matter

Abstract

Educators serving in Vocational High Schools have not met the competency standards. This study aimed to describe: (1) pedagogy, professional, personality, and social competence of teachers in vocational high schools, and (2) the performance of teachers in vocational high schools. This descriptive study was conducted at four vocational high schools in North Morowali that have been nationally accredited. The respondents consisted of 23 principals, vice principals, heads of the study program, and 178 student. The data were collected using documentation and questionnaire.  It were further analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results showed that:  (1) 66.76% of the teachers have the competence of the teacher's pedagogy with high category, 77.92% of the teachers have the professional competence with high category; 78.66% of the teachers have the personality competence with high category; 79.82% of the teachers have social competence with high category, (2) 75.35% of the teachers have the performance with high category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya produksi biomasa dan akumulasi hara di lahan hutan tanaman Eucalyptus pellita umur 4 tahun, di Provinsi Riau. Pengukuran biomasa dan akumulasi hara dilakukan baik pada komponen biomasa hidup seperti pohon dan tumbuhan bawah dan biomasa mati yaitu serasah. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan tanaman E. pellita umur 4 tahun memiliki rata-rata tinggi total dan diameter batang masing-masing 15,5 m dan 13,6 em. Total biomasa pohon E. pellita umur 4 tahun sebesar 284,4 tonliha, tumbuhan bawah 4,43 tonlha dan serasah 7,08 toniha, sedangkan produktivitas serasah sebesar 7,38 tonlhalth. Total akumulasi hara makro dalam biomasa pohon sebesar 206,6 kg/ha (N); 54,6 kg/ha (P); 295,4 kg/ha (K); 54,7 kg/ha (Ca); 22,1 kg/ha (Mg); dan 38,8 kg/ha (Na). Urutan tingkat kandungan hara (dalam %) dan akumulasi hara (dalam kg/ha) dalam biomasa mulai dari yang terbesar sampai yang terkecil adalah K&gt;N&gt;Ca&gt;P&gt;Na&gt;Mg.
