Abstract

 Abstract:This research generally aims to reveal the influence of academic supervision and teacher participation in the KKG to the professional competence of teachers of State Elementary School in Kecamatan Sajad. This research uses quantitative approach. The data used is quantitative data. The population in this study amounted to 104 teachers. While the sample amounted to 77 teachers. Data were collected using questionnaires by measurement model using Likert scale. The collected data is tabulated. Then performed the analysis using the help of computer application program, namely SPSS version 24 for Window. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that 1) the influence of academic supervision (X1) on teacher professional competence (Y) Beta (b1) of 0.415 = 41.50%; 2) teacher participation in KKG (X2) on teacher professional competence (Y) Beta ) By 0,303 = 30.30%; 3) the influence of academic supervision (X1) and teacher participation in KKG (X2) on professional competence of teacher equal to 0,373 or 37,30%. The result of F test seen on the ANOVA output from multiple linear regression analysis shows that Fcount> Ftable(21,985>3,105).The conclusions of this study are as follows: 1) the supervision of elementary school students in Sajad sub-district is quite good, 2) teacher participation in KKG SD Negeri in Sajad sub-district is high, 3) the professional competence of teachers of SD Negeri in Sajad sub district is high, 4) (5) teachers' participation in KKG significantly influence the professional competence of teachers of SD Negeri in Kecamatan Sajad, and 6) Academic supervision and teacher participation in KKG together significantly influence on competence Professional teacher of SD Negeri in Kecamatan Sajad.  Keyword: Academic Supervision, Teacher Participation in KKG, Professional   Teacher Competency.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi yang komperehensip mengenai kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja wali kelas di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 4 Pontianak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitain kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber datanya terdiri dari kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, wali kelas, guru, dan siswa. Prosedur pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara terstrktur dan mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil kesimpulan sebagai berikut: 1) Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja wali kelas  di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 4 Pontianak telah berjalan dengan baik yaitu dapat dlihat dari kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam mempengaruhi, menggerakkan, memberi motivasi kepada wali kelas sehingga wali kelas dapat menjalankan kegiatan kelas sesuai dengan program yang disusun, 2) Kinerja wali kelas di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 4 Pontianak telah melaksanakan program dengan baik seperti membuat program wali kelas, melakukan bimbingan dan pembinaan terhadap siswa, mengelola kelas dan melakukan administrasi kelas dengan baik sesuai dengan tugas yang telah ditetapkan.   Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah, Kinerja Wali Kelas Abstract: This study aimed to obtain information komperehensip on school leadership in improving the performance of the guardian class in Vocational High School 4 Pontianak . This research is qualitative descriptive. Source data is comprised of principals, vice principals, homeroom, teachers, and students. Data collection procedures performed through observation, interviews and in-depth terstrktur, and documentation. The results of the following conclusions: 1) Leadership principals in improving the performance of the guardian class in Vocational High School 4 Pontianak has gone well that can be viewed from the principal's leadership in influencing, to mobilize, motivate homeroom so homeroom can run class activities according to the compiled program, 2) performance class teacher at the Vocational School District 4 Pontianak program has been implemented well as making program homeroom, doing counseling and guidance to students, manage the class and administering the class properly in accordance with the tasks that have been set.     Keywords: Leadership Principal, Performance Guardian Class

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk memperoleh informasi deskriptif tentang pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana dalam meningkatkan prestasi non akademik siswa yang difokuskan pada perencanaan, pengadaan, inventarisasi, pengawasan, pemeliharaan dan penghapusan. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek penelitian kepala sekolah, waka kesiswaan, bendahara tata usaha, komite, dan pelatih. Hasil penelitian meliputi: 1) perencanaan baik karena sudah melibatkan unsur-unsur di dalam sekolah seperti kepala sekolah, waka kesiswaan, bendahara, komite, dan pelatih. Selain itu dalam perencanaan pengembangan sarana dan prasarana juga membuat rencana pengadaan barang. 2) Pengadaan  sangat baik ini dikarenakan setiap pembelian barang atau perlengkapan dibuat laporan pengadaan barang yang diketahui kepala sekolah. 3) Inventarisasi cukup baik, pencatatan perlengkapan ditulis dibuku induk inventaris dan buku non inventaris. 4) Pengawasan sangat baik dilakukan secara langsung maupun tidak langsung oleh kepala sekolah. 5) Pemeliharaan sangat baik, semua perlengkapan disimpan di dalam ruangan tertentu dan selalu dilakukan pengecekan apabila ada yang rusak akan ada penggantian. 6) Penghapusan kurang baik karena perlengkapan yang sudah tidak bisa digunakan lagi diberikan kepada siswa tidak ada berita acara penghapusannya. Kata kunci : Pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana, prestasi non akademik Abstrack : The research objective is to obtain descriptive information about the management of facilities and infrastructure to improve the non-academic achievements of students who are focused on planing, procurement, inventory, monitoring, maintenance and removal. In this study, researchers used a qualitative approach with case studies. The subject of research principal, waka student, treasurer asministration, committees, and coaches. Results of research include : 1) good planning because it involves elements within the school as principal, student waka, treasurer, committee and coaches. Also in the planning of the developmant of facilities and infrastructure also make procurement plans. 2) procurement of excellent is because every purchase of goods or equipment procurement reports made know principals. 3) Inventory quite well, recording equipment inventory written in the book of the parent and non-book inventory. 4) Monitoring is very well done directly or indirectly by the principal. 5) Maintenance of very good, all the equipment is stored in cerrtain indoor and always checking if there are damaged will be no replacement. 6) Removal less weel because equipment could no be used again administered to students no official report abolition. Abstract

AbstractThis research hopes to reveal the influence of the principal's situational leadership and the principal's motivation giving to the performance of elementary school teachers in Sebawi Sub-district, Sambas District. The research method is descriptive and the data collection technique is done by using a questionnaire. The sample of this research is elementary teacher in Sebawi sub-district of Sambas regency that is 57 respondents. The instrument consists of three variables that are principal situational leadership (X1), principal motivation (X2), and teacher performance (Y).Based on the analysis, this research obtained some findings. First, there was a significant influence between the principal's situational leadership on the performance of elementary school teachers, secondly, there was a significant influence between the principal's motivation giving toward the performance of elementary school, and thirdly, there was a significant influence between situational leadership and principal's motivation giving toward teacher performance.On the basis of the results of the study, for a principal to improve the teachers' performance, he needs to apply situational leadership style and should be able to provide motivation to improve the teachers' enthusiasm and performance. Meanwhile, the teachers are advised to always improve their performance for the sake of the improvement of the quality of education.Keywords: Headmaster's principal leadership, principal motivation, teacher performance

Abstract

 Abstract This study aims to obtain data and information about the principal?s leadership and work climate to do with the competency of teachers. This study uses a quantitative approach to the descriptive format of the survey. The study population consists of 92 people who are teachers, civil servants, minimal education DIV or S1 with a minimum of three years teaching experience drawn from four State High Schools in Sintang Regency. The population will then be sampled 75 respondents who later conclusions of this study will apply to the population. This study used a questionnaire as data collection techniques. Furthermore, based on the data analysis result in (1) 84.36% the principal?s leadership of all State High Schools in Sintang Regency included in the category of effective to very effective. (2) 83.58% the work climate of all State High Schools in Sintang Regency are included in the category is conducive to very favorable. (3) 83.10% the teacher?s competency of all State High Schools in Sintang Regency included in the category of good to very good. Keywords: Leadership, Work Climate, Teacher?s Competency

Abstract

Abstrak :Ketersediaan SDM TIK yang berkualitas serta memenuhi standard kompetensi TIK merupakan tantangan dan permasalahan. Unsur SDM guru/tenaga kependidikan merupakan pihak yang dipandang paling bertanggungjawab terhadap keberhasilan implementsi TIK. Sumber daya manusia dan modal intelektual (intellectual capital) merupakan aset yang sangat penting dalam menciptakan keunggulan bersaing yang langgeng. Sistem kebijakan publik adalah tatanan kelembagaan yang berperan atau merupakan wahana dalam penyelenggaraan sebagian atau keseluruhan proses kebijakan (formulasi, inplementasi dan evaluasi kinerja kebijakan) yang mengakomodasikan kegiatan teknis (Technical Process) maupun sosiopolitis (Sociopolitical Process) Keberhasilan kebijakan dalam implementasi, tentunya tergantung pada komitmen, kesungguhan, ketekunan, teraktualisasi dalam mutu kinerja para pelaksana (SDM) nya. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran empirik tentang peranan kepala sekolah SMP Santu Petrus Pontianak dalam meningkatkan efektivitas layanan administrasi di SMP tersebut. Metode Penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, dengan pendekatan studi kasus (case study). Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi serta analisis dengan cara reduksi, penyajian data, dan membuat kesimpulan. Pengujian reliabilitas data dilakukan dengan memperpanjang masa pengamatan, meningkatkan ketekunan, triangulasi, bahan referensi dan mengadakan member check. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa kepala sekolah sebagai administrator telah menjalankan perannya: (1) membuat perencanaan layanan administrasi dengan melibatkan dewan guru; (2) Melaksanakan secara konsisten perencanaan layanan administrasi yang telah disusunnya; (3) Melakukan evaluasi terhadap pelaksanaan perencanaan layanan administrasi melalui rapat dewan guru sepanjang tahun berjalan efektif; melalui supervisi dan monitoring; (4) Mengubah kesulitan menjadi tantangan dan kemudahan menjadi tanggungjawab.   Kata Kunci: administrator,  efektivitas, layanan administrasi. Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the empirical description for the role of the principal of Santu Petrus Junior High School Pontianak in improving the effectiveness of services in the administration of the school in question. The Methods of this study is a qualitative case study approach (case study). Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation and analysis by means of reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Testing the reliability of the data is done by extending the observation period, increasing persistence, triangulation, reference materials and conduct member checks. The results of the study found that the principal has to perform its role as an administrator: (1) a plan for administrative services with the involvement of the board of teachers; (2) Implement consistently the plans of  administration services that the banks have made​​; (3) To evaluate the implementation of the plans of  administration services through board meetings throughout the year  ; through supervision and monitoring; (4) Change the difficulty to the challenge and the responsibility of ease.   Keywords: administrator, effectiveness, administration services.

Abstract

AbstractThe research entitled "The Effect of Coordination and Principal Decision Making on the Effectiveness of BOS Fund Management in Pontianak State Elementary School". In this research used descriptive method with quantitative approach in comparative causal form. The result of the research that was tested by multiple linear regression analysis technique through SPSS (Statistical Package For Service Solutions) version 16 concluded that: 1) there is a coordination effect on the effectiveness of BOS management in SDN Kota Pontianak; 2) there is a decision-making effect on the effectiveness of BOS management in SD Negeri Kota Pontianak; 3) there is a mutual influence between coordination and decision-making on the effectiveness of BOS management so that the hipothesis which reads "there is a significant relationship between coordination and decision making on the effectiveness of BOS management in SD Negeri Kota Pontianak" is accepted. The study also recommends that: 1) the timing of BOS funds should be timely, as the delay in BOS funds affects school operations, the BOS funds provided to schools should be increased in number, keep the school operational activities very large, and reinforce them to the school committee, especially those concerned duties and functions of the committee; 2) the next researcher who wants to do research on the problem of BOS fund management, is expected to be able to analyze other wider subject, to be able to compare the effectiveness of BOS fund management more clearly. In addition, this research can be developed because every year the rules that apply in the management of BOS funds continue to grow. Keywords:Coordination, Decision Making, Effectiveness Management of BOS.

Abstract

Pendidikan dalam pandangan tradisional tidak memberikan dampak langsung bagi perekonomian masyarakat. Konsep pendidikan sebagai sebuah investasi (education as investment) telah berkambang secara pesat. Pidato Theodore Schultz pada tahun 1960 yang berjudul Investment in human capital dihadapan The American Economic Association merupakan letak dasar teori human capital modern. Bowman, mengenalkan suatu konsep revolusi investasi manusia di dalam pemikiran ekonomis. Para peneliti lainnya seperti Becker (1993) dan yang lainnya turut melakukan pengujian terhadap teori human capital ini. Sekarang diakui bahwa pengembangan SDM suatu negara adalah unsur pokok bagi kemakmuran dan pertumbuhan dan untuk penggunaan yang efektif atas sumber daya modal fisiknya, pengeluaran untuk pendidikan harus dipandang sebagai investasi yang produktif. Abstract

Berbagai upaya pembaharuan pendidikan telah dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Peran guru sangatlah penting, namun tidak bisa lepas dari karakteristik pekerja professional. Untuk menghasilakan guru yang bermutu tinggi dan adaptif dengan kebutuhan persekolahan di masa depan, profesionalisme guru perlu ditingkatkan melalui upaya peningkatan kualifikasi pendidikan sebagai dasar pembentukan kompetensi mereka, baik yang berkaitan dengan kompetensi akademik maupun kompetensi profesional. Sistem Pendidikan Prajabatan Profesional perlu dikembangakan untuk dapat mengakomodai kebutuhan kualitas guru sesuai dengan kondisi sekolah yang selalu berubah. Pendidikan dasar sebagai sebuah paspor yang sangat diperlukan individu untuk hidup dan mampu memilih apa yang mereka lakukan, mengambil bagian dalam pembangunan masyarakat masa depan secara kolektif. Agar guru berkualitas dapat didiwujudkan, maka strategi manajemen pendidikan yang diselenggarakan oleh LPTK harus dapat mengakomodasi kebutuhan kualitas guru sesuai dengan tuntutan masa depan.Kata Kunci: Guru professional, system pendidikan, manajemen pendidikan LPTK
