Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to develop Microteaching learning models based on experiential learning through the role of models and groups (practicality, efectiveness).The design of this research is development research and to carry out this research development methods will be used from Plomp which consists of five stages, namely: (1) the initial assessment stage, (2) the design stage, (3) the realization / construction stage, (4) the test, evaluation and revision stages, and (5) the implementation phase. Furthermore, to assess the quality of the Microteaching learning model based on Experiential Learning, Nieveen's criteria are used to fulfill practice, and effectiveness. The results of the study based on aspects of practicality namely management, lecturer and student activities towards learning using microteaching learning models based on experiential learning through the role of models and groups. with an overall average of 3.5 with very good indicators, the practicality criteria are very practical. Then the results of the above effectiveness data from the tabulation of student learning outcomes, lecturer response questionnaires, and student response questionnaires to learning using microteaching learning models based on experiential learning through the role of models and groups. with a good average learning outcome. The implications of this study will be able to improve the skills of final-level students when they implement a field experience  program at school.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of ability to think creatively mathematics vocational students. As an alternative solution are teaching students with learning Treffinger with metacognitive  strategies.  This  study  aimed  to  test:  1)  whether  there  is  a  significant difference in average ability to think creatively math class X SMK PGRI 2 Tuban in the academic year 2015/2016 the students that learned by learning Treffinger with metacognitive strategies with students that learned with conventional study; 2) learning is more effective to improve the ability to think creatively math class X SMK PGRI 2 Tuban 2015/2016 academic year among the students that learned by learning Treffinger with metacognitive strategies with students that learned with conventional learning? This type of research is an experimental research with a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study are students of class X SMK PGRI 2 Tuban in the academic year 2015/2016. The instrument used was a test of creative thinking ability in mathematics. To analyze the data in this study used the t test. The results of the study concluded that there was a statistically significant difference in average ability to think creatively math class X SMK PGRI 2 Tuban in the academic year 2015/2016 the students that learned by learning Treffinger with metacognitive strategies with students that learned with conventional learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes of high school students due to the fact that students are not yet optimally involved in learning and locus of control is less balanced in learning. Solso problem solving strategies are used as an alternative to optimize students' thinking abilities and locus of control in balance. The purpose of this study was to examine: 1) is there a significant difference between students who are taught Solso problem solving strategies with students who are taught with conventional learning strategies on mathematics learning achievement, 2) is there a significant difference between students who have internal locus of control and students who have external locus of control on mathematics learning achievement, 3) is there a significant interaction effect between learning strategies and locus of control on student mathematics learning achievement. The study design was a quasi-posttest experiment. The subjects of the study were students of class XI-IPA 1 Soko Tuban High School, class XI-IPA 1 as the experimental class and class XI-IPA 2 as the control class. The instrument used is a test and questionnaire locus of control. Data analysis techniques use Two Way Anova. The results of the study concluded that: 1) there were significant differences in mathematics learning achievement between students who were taught Solso problem solving strategies with students who were taught conventional learning strategies, 2) there were significant differences in mathematics learning achievement between students who had internal locus of control and external locus of control, 3) there is no significant interaction effect between learning strategies and locus of control on mathematics learning achievement.

Abstract

Efforts to realize quality learning in the face of the 21st century, the role of teachers or prospective teachers who have qualifications has the ability to have 21st  century skills. This study aims to determine the ability of early 21st  century skills so that it can be used to improve the quality of learning. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study with 30 students as samples. The ability of 21st  century skills includes critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the ability of the early 21st century PGSD Unirow student skills still showed low results. These results are shown from the average ability to think critically students show an average yield of less than 30%, communicative ability is less than 50%, collaborative ability and cooperative thinking is less than 45%. The solutions that can be offered are the need for learning through the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model, cooperative learning models and other learning models that can improve students' critical, creative, collaborative and communicative thinking skills.

Abstract

Matematika merupakan suatu mata pelajaran yang tergolong sulit karena berisi perhitungan-perhitungan, simbol-simbol, dan konsep-konsep abstrak. Pembelajaran matematika di SMP Negeri 1 Jenu belum pernah menggunakan komik matematika. Penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan produk berupa komik matematika BTVH (berbasis teori Van Hiele). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendiskripsikan pengembangan komik matematika BTVH untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Jenu, 2) mendeskripsikan kualitas pengembangan komik matematika BTVH untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Jenu. Penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE ini terdiri atas lima tahapan, yaitu tahap analisis (Analysis), tahap desain produk (Design), tahap pengembangan produk (Development), tahap implementasi (Implementation), tahap evaluasi (Evaluation). Komik matematika BTVH memuat 5 tahap cerita, yaitu tahap 1 (pengenalan), tahap 2 (analisis), tahap 3 (pengurutan), tahap 4 (deduksi), dan tahap 5 (akurasi). Instrumen pengumpulan data dibagi menjadi tiga, yaitu kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data statistik deskriftif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah komik matematika BTVH untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Setelah melalui tahapan validasi dan uji coba komik matematika dinyatakan sangat baik. Persentase data kevalidan 96%, persentase data kepraktisan 90%, dan persentase data keefekteifan 93%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa yang disebabkan oleh minat belajar matematika siswa masih kurang, proses pembelajaran yang terjadi kurang efektif. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pemilihan model dan media pembelajaran yang salah satunya adalah model pembelajaran Osborn dengan media Pohon Matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar dan mendeskripsikan respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas VII C SMPN 1 Semanding tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Data dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar siswa dan respon siswa yang diperoleh dengan metode tes dan angket. Analisis data adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Dari hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa, Penerapan model pembelajaran Osborn dengan media Pohon Matematika dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa SMP. Hal ini dapat ditunjukan dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar matematika pada siklus I, II, dan III yaitu (60,47; 68,44 dan 86,25) dan prosentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal pada siklus I, II, dan III adalah (46,88%; 75%; 93,75%). Respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran yang diterapkan pada setiap aspek selama pembelajaran yang berada pada keterangan senang yaitu 92,58%, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran Osborn dengan media Pohon Matematika adalah positif.

Abstract

Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah bahwa rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sedan yang disebabkan oleh siswa kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran matematika, dan model pembelajaran yang digunakan masih didominasi oleh guru dengan menggunakan pembelajaran langsung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji adakah pengaruh model pembelajaran koopertif tipe NHT (numbered heads together) dengan media manipulatif terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen dan desain penelitian menggunakan pretest-postest control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 69 siswa, yang terdiri dari 34 siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dan 35 siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Langsung. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes. Prosedur penelitian terdiri dari pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran dan instrumen penelitian, validasi perangkat pembelajaran dan instrumen  penelitian. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji-t dua sampel bebas. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dengan media manipulatif terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa pada materi kubus dan balok kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 sedan tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Hal ini ditunjukkan pada uji hipotesis bahwa thitung  ttabel, yaitu  3,144  1,996, karena thitung  ttabel maka H0 ditolak, sehingga dapat dilihat adanya perbedaan  rata-rata dari kelompok kelas eksperimen dan kelompok kelas kontrol yaitu pada kelas eksperimen memiliki rata-rata lebih tinggi yaitu 71,55 , sedangkan pada kelas kontrol yaitu 61,94.
