Abstract

This study aims to develop a Powtoon-based animated video for Flippedclassroom learning models on thermodynamic materials. his type of research is ADDIE, which aims to produce a product with product validation from material experts, media experts, and Physical Science Teachers. assessment from material experts with a feasibility level of 85.93%, from media experts 81.33%, while from science physics teachers 81.6%. The results of the assessment of 30 students as a trial of the feasibility of powtoon video obtained results from the concept of video 81.62%, video as a reference material 86.27%, motivating students to study harder 82.35%, and video design 91.18%, from the feasibility results concluded that this media was categorized as feasible as a learning medium. Abstract

Abstract

This research is a quasi-experimental research and research design used is pretest post-test control group design. This study aims to determinethe outcomes of learning physics by learners who taught conventionally, to determine the outcomes of learning physics by learners who the taught cooperative learning model type pair checks and to determine significant difference between the result of physics learning by learners who taught in a conventional and are taught by cooperative learning model type pair checks. The sample of this study were 48 students, consist of 24 students in the experimental class and 24 students in the control class. The average value of the experimental class students is 84.58. For the average value of the control, class students are 80.33.The results of the analysis carried out by using the t-test obtained t value of 4.2 with Sig. (2-tailed) of 0,000 with a significant level of 5%. Therefore the value of Sig. (2-tailed) <0.05, it can be said that there are significant differences in physics learning outcomes between the control class and the experimental class that use the cooperative learning model type pair checks. Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of informal cooperative learning think pair share tehnique assisted by Schoology aplication on student achievement. This study uses reseach instruments, and data analysis isquantitative/statistical.this reseach is a quasi experimental study, the design model used is control group pre test post test design, reseach data was processed using covariance analysis (ANCOVA), the population of this study is student of SMA N 1 Sape Bima NTB, the reseach sample was taaken by random sampling, the sample used was Grade XI student. From this study, it was found that the implementation of informal coopperative learning think pair share tehnique assisted by Schoology had a significant effect to student achievement.Keywords: Schoology, Informal Cooperative learning, Think pair share, achivement.

Abstract

In the management of higher education, demand a change can be done effectively when the leadership and management are well developed. In general, internal conflicts in the education management occurred due to poor leadership. This study is a qualitative study with a phenomenological approach. The subject of the study is Graduate Program of University Ahmad Dahlan which manages five master programs. Determination of each of people which considers his/her competence, knowledge, experience and personal attributes will affect to performance and operational leadership roles, organizational, and public. Cross-departmental activities and external parties become a focus for leadership in achieving the vision and mission of the organization.

Abstract

The spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus occurs in all countries. This pandemic incident was taken seriously by various sectors including in the world of education. This research is a quantitative descriptive study to explain the SRL profile of Indonesian students in online learning is carried out in COVID-19 emergencies. The research commenced three days after the establishment of the WHO COVID-19 pandemic. The respondents were taken by accident sampling at several schools implementing online learning after the designation of this mode by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture on March 15, 2020. The schools consisted of general high schools and vocational schools. The data were collected via Google Form filled out by 10th to 12th-grade students. The instrument used was a questionnaire with a scale of 1 to 5 (from absolutely disagree to absolutely agree) consisting of planning, monitoring, controlling, and reflecting aspects. There were two analytical techniques used i.e., descriptive statistics and ANOVA. The results of this study indicate that students in Indonesia still need assistance and mentoring from teachers to improve SRL. Several mentoring strategies can be applied to manage active learning. The teachers should explicitly include the process of mentoring, strengthening the students? SRL. Teachers need to be aware that online learning is not only to master certain subject matters but also to strengthen SRL.

Abstract

Abstract

Higher education is currently in the rapid change process. These changes are driven by many factors, both internal and external. Some trends in higher education in the development of one of them is a wider social context. People feel more comfortable with using the internet as a tool in the day-to-day. Information and communication technologies has important role on improving teaching and learning process. The aim of this research is to determine whether the student IT literacy medium influence the learning achievement of good science. This research is a quantitative research using multivariate statistical analysis techniques. The result is that IT literacy has no effect on learning achievement. Abstract

The aim of this study is to observe the application of SLC (science learning cycle) model on improving scientific literacy for secondary vocational schools at physics. Through this research, it will be known its influence of learning methods and contribution to the understanding of physics concepts and student independence learning. This research is a quasi-experimental design with pretest and posttest control group which the independent variable is learning the method and the dependent variable is the conceptual understanding. The result shows that there is an effect of teaching method on the dependent variable. It also shows that the conceptual understanding of the students in the treatment group who applied methods SLC is better than the control group.
