Abstract

Evapotranspiration data are considered important to determine volume and schedule of the irrigation. The purpose of this study is to determine the actual evapotranspiration model based on the volume of the irrigation to obtain an accurate evapotranspiration value on Alfisols with maize plantation. This research is conducted in the experimental field Jumantono subdistrict, Karanganyar regency by the experiment of the maize (Zea mays) on Alfisols. The evapotranspiration model uses the soil correction factor (x) and the irrigation volume (% ETc). The soil correction factor (X) is calculated by linear regression on actual evapotranspiration (ETa) with crop evapotranspiration (ETc). ETc using reference evapotranspiration (ETo) using the Penman-Monteith model. The results showed that ETa was smaller than ETc in all treatments. The models that can be produced in this study are 3 models. All models applied to produce a determination coefficient > 90%, which all models have a positive relationship. The best actual evapotranspiration model was in total model uses ETa = {0.0403 + (0.0085 × Irrigation volume)} × ETc, for daily estimation and total one planting estimation;  weekly estimation using the weekly model using ETa = {0.4428 + (0.0054 ×Irrigation volume)}× ETc. The errors of both models are ± 1%.

Abstract

The aim of this study is Analyzing the business performance using balanced scorecard approach and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The population in this study were all employees and members of BMT-UGT Sidogiri. The sampling technique was Stratified Random Sampling for employees and convenience random sampling for BMT-UGT members Sidogiri. level positions (positions) of employees at BMT-UGT Sidogiri be the foundation of a random sample and tiered. The research sample used in this study were 42 employees and 212 members of BMT-UGT Sidogiri. The results showed: (1). balanced scorecard approach, showed the financial perspective (BMT-UGT Sidogiri conditions were good); perspective of satisfaction (satisfied with the services Sidogiri BMT-UGT); internal business perspective (increasing the number of business units); learning and growth perspective (employee productivity has increased); (2). The analysis perspective Balanced Scorecard using AHP Analysis of the individual perspective Balanced Scorecard by using AHP shows that the perspective is considered the most influential on the performance of the company is customer perspective that has the highest weight value, while the factor most considered to have the highest influence on the customer's perspective is the growing number of members. In other hand, internal business perspective has lowest value as a result of AHP analysis

Abstract

The aim of the research was to study the effect of kind of mulches, farmyard manure dosages (FYM), and their interaction on available potassium and yield of soybean on Vertisol. The experiment was conducted at green house on July to December 2002. Soil analysis was done at Soil Science Laboratory, Agriculture Faculty, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. It was arranged in Completely Randomized Design (CDR) with two factor and each treatment combination replicated three times. The first factor was kinds of mulch i.e. without mulch, rice straw at 5 ton/ha, and rice hull at 5 ton/ha. The second one was farmyard manure (FYM) dosage, i.e. 0,6 and 12 ton FYM/ha. Data analyzed for F Test and DMRT at 5% significancy and Stepwise Regresion to predict the optimum of soybean yield. The result showed that both kind of mulch and FYM influence available potassium at maximum vegetative phase of soybean, while their interaction significant on available K at harvested  time, seed weight/plant and weight of 100 seeds. Available K increase coinside with FYM dosage. Stepwise Regression Analysis showed that treatment combination for the optimum of available-K at maximum vegetative phase, available-K at harvest time, seed weight/plant, and weight of 100 seeds were rice straw mulch and 2,76 ton FYM/ha, rice straw mulch and 0,035 ton FYM/ha, rice full mulch and 2,57 ton FYM/ha, and rice straw mulch and 1,1017 ton FYM/ha respectively

Abstract

This experiment research was conducted on September – December 2007 in Blumbang, Sub district Tawangmangu, Karanganyar. The aim of this research was to know the effect of balance organic fertilizer and inorganic fertilizer to the carrot quality in Andisols, Tawangmangu. This experiment used RCBD (Randomized Complete Block Design) with organic fertilizer factor (0%, 50% and 100% organic fertilizer) and inorganic fertilizer factor (0%, 50% and 100% inorganic fertilizer). Statistical analysis for the influence of the treatment was variant analysis with F-test and Kruskal-Wallis test. Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) was used to compare inter-treatment and for finding out of the relation inter-variable it was used correlation test. The result shows that the balance of organic and inorganic fertilizer have significant influence to the water content of carrot, the weight of carrot, the weight of dried carrot plant and the plant’s height, and have not significant influence to the carotene, carrot’s diameter, and carrot’s length. The lower water content of carrot was shown by the treatment of 100% organic fertilizer and 50% inorganic fertilizer. The treatment of 100% organic fertilizer and 100% inorganic fertilizer give the highest plant height and the weight of carrot per plant. To the soil, the balance of organic and inorganic fertilizer has significant influence to the total N of soil and to the available N of soil. It has not significant influence to the total P of soil and available P of soil, total K of soil and available K of soil. The result of correlation test showed there was positive correlation among carrot weight and water content of carrot. Keywords: Organic fertilizer, Inorganic Fertilizer, Carrot, Andisols.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organic and inorganic fertilizers and cropping systems on P uptake and growth and yield of rice determine the most optimum. The research was conducted in paddy fields in the village of Subdistrict Wotgaleh Sukoharjo Sukoharjo in February 2013 to May 2013 . This research is using RCBD (Randomized Complete Block Design) with two factors . The first factor is the culture system consisting of two levels are conventional systems ( B1 ) and  SRI systems ( System of Rice Intensification ) ( B2 ) . The second factor is the balance of organic and inorganic fertilizers ( P ) consisting of five levels are : ( P1 ) 100 % organic fertilizer ( Petroganik : 10 tons / ha ) , ( P2 ) 25 % organic fertilizer ( Petroganik : 2.5 tons / ha ) + 75 % inorganic fertilizer ( Phonska : 225 kg / ha ) + Urea : 150 kg / ha , ( P3 ) 50 % organic fertilizer ( Petroganik : 5 tons / ha ) + 50 % inorganic fertilizer ( Phonska : 150 kg / ha ) + Urea : 100 kg / ha , ( P4 ) 75 % organic fertilizer ( Petroganik : 7.5 tons / ha ) + 25 % inorganic fertilizer ( Phonska : 75 kg / ha ) + Urea : 50 kg / ha , ( P5 ) 100 % inorganic fertilizer ( Phonska : 300 kg / ha ) + Urea : 200 kg / ha . Parameters measured were available P , soil pH ( H2O ) , P network , stover dry weight , P uptake , total tiller number , and dry weight of harvested grain. The results showed that P uptake in conventional cropping systems is higher than the SRI cultivation system . P uptake in conventional cultivation of 0.135 g / clump whereas P uptake in SRI cultivation of 0.074 g / clump . Balance of organic and inorganic fertilizer with the highest P uptake was achieved in 100 % inorganic fertilizer , Phonska : 300 kg / ha + urea : 200 kg / ha which is 0.134 g / clump . The highest weight of dry grain harvest was achieved in the treatment of conventional cultivation system with 25 % organic fertilizer ( 2.5 t / ha Petroganik) and 7575 % inorganic fertilizer ( 225 kg / ha of fertilizer Phonska and 150 kg / ha urea ) that is equal to 12.98 tons / ha

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the dividend's announcement to abnormal return from companies that registered in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The study conducted by calculating the abnormal return by testing the hypothesis by using samples of 14 companies that registered IPO (Initial Pubilic Offer) on the Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2013-2015. From the analysis conducted, showed that there is significant effect between the announcement of the dividend’s announcement of the abnormal return. The result came out from the significant abnormal return that happen before, during and after the event's date.

Abstract

Abstract: The demand on performance improvement, including financial performance, requires local government to utilize advanced information technology. The Government of Jember Regency tries to improve the financial management quality by applying a computer application named Regional Financial Management Information System or called as Finance SIMDA. SIMDA application develops in line with the latest information technology, namely cloud computing. Since March 18th, 2015, the Government of Jember has implemented cloud-based SIMDA called Cloud Finance SIMDA. The application of Cloud SIMDA is resulting in a more practical, effective, and efficient financial management. The change from the old system to the new one needs to be analyzed to examine the system effectiveness as it is expected to positively affect the increase of performance, information, economy, control, efficiency, and service or often called as PIECES (Performance, Information, Economic, Control, Efficiency, and Services) variables. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of Finance SIMDA implementation, before and after using the cloud computing technology, with PIECES variables. This is a quantitative research with survey method. The results show that there is a difference in the effectiveness of the implementation before and after the application of cloud-based Finance SIMDA as seen from the PIECES variables.  Keywords: Finance SIMDA, Effectiveness, PIECES Variables.

Abstract

The Company Capital Structure plays an important role in the financing of a company. Planning a good capital structure is an important tool to understand since with the right decision of the appropriate capital structure, the company can reduce the cost of capital (cost of capital), which means to increase the value of the company. The author conducted a research to analyze the influence of several variables, namely liquidity, profitability, size, age and growth on capital structure. The data analyzed are generated from the companies in the list LQ 45 in IDX. The author uses multiple linear regression to analyze the data. The results shows that the variables of liquidity, profitability, size, age and growth of the company negatively affect the capital structure. Of these variables only variable of growth that has a significant at alpha level of 10%.

The highest weight of dry grain harvest was achieved in the treatment of conventional cultivation system with 25 % organic fertilizer ( 2.5 t / ha Petroganik) and 7575 % inorganic fertilizer ( 225 kg / ha of fertilizer Phonska and 150 kg / ha urea ) that is equal to 12.98 tons / ha.

Abstract

The educational researches have been conducted for years; however, few of the research discussed the implementation of culture in the teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL). The research covers the issue especially in the extend of finding model of teaching narrative text implementing intercultural approach. The research implemented procedures of Reseach and Development (R & D) based on Borg & Gall. It was held from January 2013 to July 2013. The population of the research was the nine graders of Madiun Regency-wide, and the samples were 9B (Nine graders of B) SMP Negeri 1 Geger Madiun and 9C (Nine graders of C) SMP Negeri 2 Karangrejo Magetan. The data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The result showed that the model of teaching narrative text implementing intercultural consisted of six stages. The details were (1) Awareness Raising Phase involves Having short conversation with students toward the topic and material being learned; Having students listen and watch a monolog of narrative text (L1 narrative text); and Having students observe conversational and interactional features of the text individually, especially on the intercultural points; (2) Interactional Phase involves Leading conversation to the result of the text observed; Eliciting some possible cultural aspects of the text both verbally and un-verbally; Asking the students to do grouping of which each consists of three; Having students do group discussion to the cultural points of the text; (3) Reflective Phase involves Having discussion with students to the result of the conversational analysis; and Stating the intercultural points of the text explicitly; (4) Experimental Phase involves Having students read a narrative text (L2 narrative text) in group; Having students discuss the intercultural points of the text in group; and Having students do monolog of the text in group by concerning on the intercultural points; (5) Introspective Phase involves Having students evaluate the result of their monolog; and Having students compare the intercultural points of the text both L1 narrative text and L2 narrative text have been learned in group; and (6) Cultural Evaluation Phase involves Having students write a comparison and contrast of the intercultural points of the text both L1 narrative text and L2 narrative text have been learned individually.Keywords: Narrative Text, Intercultural, Reseach and Development
