Abstract

In learning Indonesian language and literature needs to take into consideration the involvement of students in creative process. Students are capable of listening the literary works and appreciate them. The implementation of listening learning can be successful if it is employing a contextual approach. This study describes: (1) the needs of teachers and students in developing interactive media in listening learning of drama for students in Vocational High Schools; (2) the arrangement of interactive media prototype employing contextual approach in listening learning of drama for students in Vocational High Schools; (3) the effectiveness of interactive media employing contextual approach in listening learning of drama for students in Vocational High Schools; (4) the acceptance of interactive media employing contextual approach in listening learning of drama for students in Vocational High Schools based on stakeholders? responses.The research employs Research and Development (R D) study that conducts some steps developed by Borg and Gall, as follows: 1) the exploratory study that includes literature review, field study and the initial phases in creating prototype design, 2) the development phase of new learning media, 3) the experiment phase that is to test the effectiveness of old media and new media in listening learning of drama, 4) the acceptance test of new learning media to public. The data was collected and tested its effectiveness with the T-Test statistical analysis.The results of this research show that; (1) teachers and students find difficulties to employ interactive media in listening learning of drama in accordance with the students? basic competence and lesson plan, (2) the prototype of interactive learning media is developed, (3) the students? learning outcome of listening learning of drama can be improved with the help of interactive media compared with the learning without it and this is proved by the results of limited field trial and field trial, (4) the interactive media can be accepted by public and has more advantages than the old media according to the result of acceptance test.

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research was to investigate the effectiveness of the use of DR-TA strategy to develop the students? reading comprehension of narrative texts. This research was conducted at SMP Haruniyah Pontianak. The subject of this research was 35 students of the eighth grade. In completing the research, the writer provided the observation checklist and field note to get the data from classroom activities. Besides, this research also used test (objectives test) to measure the students? reading comprehension achievement in every cycle of treatment. To conduct this research the writer applied two cycles; cycle 1 and 2. There were only 59% of students who achieve the minimum level achievement (MLA) 70 (seventy) in cycle 1. In this case, the use of DR-TA strategy was focused on the students? way to predict and to think what the students read before concluding the text. As a result, the students? reading comprehension achievement of narrative text has indicated the increase from the average scores of reading comprehension in two cycles (cycle 1 and cycle 2). The students? average scores who achieved minimum level achievement (MLA) 59% in cycle 1 and 85.7% in cycle 2. From these results, this research indicated that the use of DR-TA strategy in developing the students? reading comprehension achievement of narrative was effective in teaching and learning process. Abstract

Preservation of traditional materials became more successful and systematic after libraries and archives integrated preservation into overall planning and resource allocation. Digital preservation is largely experimental and replete with the risks associated with untested Digital preservation strategies are shaped by the needs and constraints of repositories with little consideration for the requirements of current and future users of digital scholarly resources. Archives contain millions of documents like manuscripts, rare books, paintings, photographs, and historical records. All these constitute human heritage. Paper manuscripts, with the passage of time, are getting fragile and brittle because of various reasons. Lamination does not seem to be a permanent solution of preservation this cultural heritage for posterity. Digitization technology brings with it untold benefits for heritage preservation access. Once a document has been properly digitized, it become immortal and can remain accessible long after the original has ceased to exist. The option of digital access further aids in preservation of originals through reduced need for physical handling. This paper states about need for digital preservation with its objectives in Library environment.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a class action research (PTK) with the subject of research is the students of class V SD Negeri 1 Duwet Wonosari Klaten 2016/2017 academic year. The purpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of Civics in the material to maintain the integrity of NKRI through role-playing methods with a cooperative approach in elementary school students. Data collection method used in this research is test method, interview, and observation. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive analysis. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that: 1) Through role-playing method with a cooperative learning approach can increase PKN learning activity of material to maintain the integrity of NKRI in grade V SD Negeri 1 Duwet WonosariKlaten academic year 2016/2017. This is reflected from the average activity of cycle I reached 56.46% and increased to 75.62% in cycle II; 2) Through the method of role play with approach cooperative learning can increase the learning activity PKN material to maintain the integrity of NKRI in grade V SD Negeri 1 Duwet WonosariKlaten academic year 2016/2017. This can be demonstrated by the increase: (1) The average value in the pretest obtained by the average of 67.41 with the completeness of learning 37.93%, (2) in the first cycle obtained by the average class 76.31 with mastery learning 65.51 %, (3) and on the second cycle obtained average grade 81.82 with learning completeness 86.20%. This shows that the students' learning achievement reaches the target of 85% with KKM score> 70. Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Duwet Wonosari Klaten tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn pada materi menjaga keutuhan NKRI melalui metode bermain peran dengan pendekatan cooperative pada siswa sekolah dasar. Metode pengumpulan data yang diguanakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode tes, wawancara dan observasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa : 1) Melalui metode bermain peran dengan pendekatan cooperative learning dapat meningkatkanaktivitas belajar PKN materi menjaga keutuhan NKRI pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Duwet WonosariKlaten tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Hal ini tergambar dari ratarataaktivitas siklus I mencapai 56,46 % dan meningkat menjadi 75,62% pada siklus II; 2) Melalui metode bermain peran dengan pendekatancooperative learning dapat meningkatkanaktivitas belajar PKN materi menjaga keutuhan NKRI pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Duwet WonosariKlaten tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Hal ini dapatditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya : (1) Nilai rata-rata pada prapenelitian diperoleh rata-rata kelas sebesar 67,41 dengan ketuntasanbelajar 37,93%, (2) pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata kelas 76,31dengan ketuntasan belajar 65,51%, (3) dan pada siklus II diperolehrata-rata kelas 81,82 dengan ketuntasan belajar 86,20%. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) Bentuk perilaku sosial kelompok pengamen jalanan dalam menyediakan sarana pendidikan di Kota Pangkep 2) Faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku sosial kelompok pengamen jalanan dalam menyediakan sarana pendidikan di Kota Pangkep 3) Proses pendidikan yang dilakukan kelompok pengamen jalanan dalam mendidik anak jalanan di Kota Pangkep. Jenis penelitian ini kualitatif dengan penentuan informan melalui teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria yaitu  anggota kelompok pengamen jalanan yang berstatus pendidikan S1 dan  S2, jumlah informan sebanyak 9 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan analsis deskriptif kualitatif dengan tahapan mereduksi data, mendisiplaykan data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pengabsahan data  yaitu member check. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Bentuk perilaku sosial kelompok pengamen jalanan dalam menyediakan sarana pendidikan di Kota Pangkep yaitu mengajar dan membimbing anak jalanan yang putus sekolah, melakukan kerjasama, meningkatkan eksistensi kelompok. 2) Faktor yang mempengaruhi kelompok pengamen jalanan dalam menyediakan sarana pendidikan di Kota Pangkep meliputi adanya rasa prihatin dan kepedulian sebagai faktor internalnya.. Sedangkan faktor eksternal terdiri atas kurangnya support dan perhatiani pemerintah terhadap kondisi anak jalanan, cara pikir orang tua anak didik yang masih tradisional, kurangnya dana, partisipasi masyarakat masih kurang, sarana dan prasana sekolah masih kurang, serta sulitnya penyatuan waktu. 3) Proses pendidikan yang dilakukan kelompok pengamen jalanan  dalam mendidik anak jalanan di Kota Pangkep yaitu pendidikan berbasis non-formal terpadu.  Kata Kunci: Perilaku Sosial, Kelompok Pengamen Jalanan, Sarana Pendidikan

Abstract

Abstract. Balocci Resort Banntimurung Bulusaraung National Park is a location that is overgrown with many natural orchids. This research is a descriptive study that aims to determine the type of epiphytic orchid host tree and the distribution of host trees at the Balocci Resort in Bantimurung Bulusearaung National Park. The method used is a survey method. The stages of the research are termining location and observations, collecting data and indetifying spesies. Based on the result; Alstonia  scholaris, Sauarauia malayana, Mangifera sp, Tabernaemontana sphaerocarpa, Arenga pinnata, Syzygium sp, Elaecarpus angustifolius, Bischofia javanica, Maesea sp, Erythrina subumbrans, Lithocarpus celebicus, Cryptocarya sp, Elmerillia ovalis, Memecylon paniculatum, Ficus benjamina L, Ficus variegate, Ficus fistulosa, Knema laurina, Litsea sp, Uncaria longiflora, Coffea sp, Melicope sp, Planchonella firma, Palaquium lobbianum, and Laportea stimulant which belongs to 19 families. The tree that is overgrows with orchids is Alstonia  scholaris, Sauarauia malayana and Ficus benjamina L. the host tree which is used as a place for growth has uneven surface characteristics of the tree, overgrown with nails and generally mossy. Host tree species that have a wide spread on mount Bulusaraung is Sauarauia malayana which is at an altitude of 700-1300 m above sea level. Abstract

Maternal pattern and the role of peers in high school youth dating behavior in JambiPurposeThe purpose of this paper was to determine the relationship between parental parenting and the role of peers with youth dating behavior in Jambi. MethodA cross-sectional study was conducted involving 281 students of SMAN 4 and SMAN 11 in Jambi who were or have been dating. Data were analyzed using univariate, bivariate with chi square tests, and multivariate with logistic regression tests.Results281 respondents, 113 (72.44%) of the majority of male adolescents behaved in risky courtship. Bivariable analysis found that there was a significant correlation between the role of peers and teenage dating behavior, while the relationship of mother pattern with teenage dating behavior was found to be insignificant. Multivariable analysis, obtained the result that the role of peers is the dominant variable associated with youth dating behavior with OR 2.74 times (95%, CI = 1.61-4.67). ConclusionThis study contributes to the knowledge that a poor peer role for adolescents has a risk to behave in risky dating and mothers parenting does not have a meaningful relationship with youth courtship behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the application of peer tutor method can improve the ability of second grade students of SD Negeri 25 Lubuklinggau in making a question word. The method used in this research is using the Class Action Research approach (PTK) which is preceded by pratindakan data and twice the implementation of the research cycle. The results of test data on pratindakan of 24 students, students who scored 65 or have completed as many as 14 people or 58.33% of the number of students. While students who scored less than 65 or not completed as many as 10 people or 41.67%, with an average grade of 63.75. In the first cycle there is an increase in value gains. Students who have completed as many as 17 students or 70.83% while unfinished as many as 7 people or 29.17% with an average value of 67.08. This is an increase of 3.33 or 5.23%. Cycle II also increased, from 24 students who have completed as many as 22 students or 91.67% and who have not completed as many as 2 students or 8.33% with an average value of 75.21. If the calculated increase of pratindakan value until cycle II there is an increase of 11.61%. Based on these data the hypothesis that was found in this study proved, that with the application of peer tutor method can improve the ability to make sentences asked students of class I SD Negeri 25 Lubukkinggau. Abstract

AbstractTeachers have strategic role in effort to education quality improvement. They have to have competencies mentioned in Law Number 14 of 2005 Teacher and Lecture – including professional, paedagogic, personal, and social competence. This research aims at mapping the competence of islamic educational taechers in Madrasah Aliyah. This research uses a quantitative approach. Data are analyzed with descriptive approach. The respondents are Islamic educational teachers in 6 provincies: DKI Jakarta, West Java, Midlle Java, Banten, D.I. Yogyakarta, and East Java. The result of this research shows that competencies of Islamic educational teachers in Madrasah Aliyah are enough. The average value for professional competence is 65.98; average value for pedagogic competence is 135.72; average value for personal competence is 48; and average value for social competence is 59.5. AbstrakGuru memiliki peran yang strategis dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, sehingga mereka dituntut untuk memiliki kompetensi seperti yang dipersyaratkan dalam UU Nomor 14 Tahun 2005 tentang Guru dan Dosen. Kompetensi guru sebagaimana yang dimaksud meliputi kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi sosial dan kompetensi profesional yang dipeeroleh melalui pendidikan profesi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh guru Pendidikan Agama Islam di Madrasah Aliyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantiatif. Data dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif statistik. Responden penelitian ini adalah guru Pendidikan Agama Islam di wilayah Jawa meliputi DKI Jakarta, Jawa Barat, Banten, Jawa Tengah, Jawa Timur, dan Jogjakarta. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keseluruhan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam memiliki kompetensi yang cukup memadai. Nilai rerata kompetensi profesional adalah 65.98. nilai rerata untuk kompetensi pedagogik 135.72, kompetensi kepribadian 48, dan nilai rerata kompetensi sosial 53.51.

Abstract

Penyakit DBD di Indonesia masih merupakan masalah kesehatan karena masih banyak daerah yang endemik, penyakit DBD disebabkan oleh virus dengue. Wabah demam berdarah pada tahun 2016 terjadi diberbagai wilayah, diantaranta Amerika melaporkan lebih dari 2,38 juta kasus Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keberadaan larva aedes aegypti  sebelum dan sesudah intervensi PSN DBD di Kelurahan Pandang Kecamatan Panakukang Kota Makassar. Desain  penelitianini adalaheksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperiment) dengan intervensi penyuluhanPopulasi penelitian ini adalah rumah dan masyarakat yang berada di RW 02 Kelurahan Pandang Kecamatan Panakukang Kota Makassar. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian dilakukan dengan metode proporsional random sampling yaitu membagi populasi kedalam sub-sub populasi dengan jumlah sampel 100 responden.Hasil Ada perbedaan antara tingkat pengetahuan, sikap dan keberadaan larva sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan karena berdasarkan uji statistik menggunakan McNemar diperleh nilai bertutur-turu (p = 0,000, p = 0,000, p = 0,0001   nilai ini lebih kecil dari ? 0,05 (p=0,05), ABJ sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan menunjukkan bahwa ABJ maish kurang dari 95%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu masih terdapatnya larva Aedes aegypti di RW 02 Kelurahan Pandang meskipun telah dilakukan penyuluhan PSN DBD.Oleh karena itu, disarankan kepada masyarakat agar lebih memperhatikan pelaksanaan PSN sehingga perkembangbiakan larva Aedes aegypti dan transmisi DBD dapat dicegah.Kata kunci : PSN, keberadaan larva, penyuluhan
