Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to determine the percentage of each level questions about the national examination mathematics vocational school 2011/2012 school year based on SOLO taxonomy, and to determine the composition of the SOLO taxonomy level at each National Competency Standards Graduates Examination (SKLUN) Mathematics vocational school 2011/2012 school year. Sources of data in this study include documents mathematic questions vocational school national examination in 2012 to three vocational groups, are : (1) the Technology, Health, and Agriculture, (2) the Tourism, Arts, Social Studies, Office Administration and Technology household had; and (3) the Accounting and Sales. To analyze the data used descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. The result shows that the percentage of each level on the SOLO taxonomy questions about the national examination mathematics vocational school 2011/2012 school year for Unistructural (U), Multistructural (M), Relational (R) and extended abstract (E) are respectively 0.84%​​, 38.33%, 60.83% and 0%. The composition of the SOLO taxonomy level on each SKLUN vocational school 2011/2012 school year are vary each vocational group. However, each vocational group are equally dominated by SKL containing two levels which level questions Multistructural and Relational. Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to determine the percentage of each level questions about the  narrative question on mathematics textbook for first year class of SMK for Accounting and Sales skill program based on SOLO taxonomy. The data used in the research is the form of narrative questions on the mathematics textbook. To analyze the data, we use descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. The result of the data analysis showes that are 327 questions in the mathematics textbooks SMK for Accounting and Sales skill program written by Tuti Masrihani et.al and also written by To’ali. The percentage of level questions based on SOLO taxonomy are: (a) Tuti Masrihani’s book is 0% in the Unistructural level; 22.50% in the Multistructural level; 77.50% in the Relational level and 0% the Abstract Extended level. (b) Toali’s book is  0% in the Unistructural level; 37.13% in the Multistructural level; 62.29% in the Relational level and 0% in the Extended Abstract level. Finally, the result show that based on SOLO taxonomy, level of the question from the books, Relational level is more  than Multistructural level. Abstract

Abstract : Textbooks are very important for students and teachers for learning process. The existency mathematics textbooks will be effective when it is adapted cognitive reader level. One aspect of mathematics textbooks that need to be adapted to the cognitive processing of the readers is the level of complexity of question, especially in the Narrative questions. This research is a descriptive study, the research aim to describe the level of questions on the matter of Narrative questions into level of Unistructural, Multistructural, Relational and Extended abstract question based on SOLO Taxonomy. The results show the percentage level of the whole reading exercise that contain in the vocational mathematics textbooks of skills programs technology, health, and agriculture class X, published by Erlangga based on SOLO taxonomy are, 2.34% for the Unistructural level, 47.65% for the Multistructural level and 50.01% for the Relational level. Abstract

Abstract : Polya model is one of problem solving model that help the students for solving mathematics problems. Furthermore, Polya defines problem solving as an attempt to find the way out from one difficultness, and reach the unreachable objective that cannot be solved at once. The research aims are (1) how do the Polya problem solve appliment solve the problem solving questions, (2) how do the activities of the students as long as Polya problem solve appliment occur to solve the problem solving questions, (3) how do the student learn finishment after Polya problem solving appliment occur to solve the problem solving question. The research subjects are for analyzing qualitative and quantitative data. The research result shows that category activity in the “rexamine” and “presentation” are the lowest. The learning activity result in the first cycle are 68,8% student complete and not fulfill the classical absorptive power because of ≤ 70%. The second cycle result is increasing of learning result for 75,7% which means has reached classical complement. So, the research has fulfilled the research aims. Abstract

Abstract : The comprehension of mathematic concept can be reached if a teacher can give optimal teaching and suitable with the student’s learning method.  This research aims to know how do the acceleration student’s learning method in SMP N 3 Jember based on Bruner Theory and Liang Gie Learning method. Data collection methods are qoetionnaire, interview, observation and documentation. The sources triagulation is used to examine a collected data validity. The research results shows that the learning method of acceleration students are: 1) learn a number theory, statistic, and probability by construction theory. 2) learn aljabar by notation theory, 3) learn geometry theory by construction theory,  contrast and variation. 4) acceleration students always prepare themself before receive lessons; 5) active and critical when receive a lesson; 6) write down the understood things; 7) Learning interest is according by daily activities and if their concentration is going down, they will rest for a while and then continue again.. Abstract : Based on secondary data published by the center of educational assessment national education department, we can consider for in topic in any exam test. Research was condocted to describe the factors that cause low mastery learns high school math exam, for math n science program school year 2009/2010 in Banyuwangi district. This result show collection methods used are questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The result show come from the cause of failness are insided or outside students, teachers do not understand the unfunction of teacher resource. Abstract

Abstract. The research aims to know the process and result of development of mathematics learning instruments based on realictic mathemathics education for cube and cuboid topic. Learning instrumentsdevelopment model refers to 4D Thiagarajanmodels which has 4 steps namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subject of research is students of VIII-F class SMPN 5 Jember in even semester academic year 2012-2013.The data of research are obtained by validation sheet, observation sheet of teacher and students activities, questionnaire, and evaluation test.The product of this research are lesson plan, student handbook, worksheet, and evaluation test.The result shows that the learning instrumentsqualifies validity, practical, and effective criteria. Abstract

Abstract. The research aims to know process and result of developing of mathematics learning aids based on creativity and Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach for cylinder and cone sub topics at ninth grade of junior high school. The research development model refers to modified of 4D Thiagarajan models. The subject of research is students of IXB class at SMPN 1 Jember in odd semester academic year 2013-2014. The data of research are obtained by validation sheet, observation sheet of teacher and students activities, observation sheet of student creativity development and student skill,student worksheet, and self assesment sheet. The product of this research are lesson plan, student handbook, and worksheet. The result shows that the learning instruments qualifies validity, practical, and effective criteria. The percentage of student creativity based on the data of observation sheet of student creativity development and self assesment sheet is 70,67%, it means that in general students at IXB class have a good creativity at learning cylinder and cone subs topic.
