Abstract

One effort to increase tobacco production and productivity on dry land is by fertilizing. Fertilization is a plant maintenance activity that aims to improve soil fertility. Fertilizers commonly used by farmers for tobacco plants namely organic (manure) and inorganic include ZA, ZK, NPK and SP36 if needed.This study aims to determine the effect of each fertilizer on plant growth.   This research was conducted in Plosorejo Village, Randublatung District, Blora Regency, at an altitude of 210 meters above sea level. The type of soil in the research location is Grumosol (soil which is slightly calcareous and easily erosion or landslide).The method used in the study was a Randomyzed Complete Block Design (RCBD) with a single and 5-level treatment / level with 5 replications. The treatments used were administration of NPK Phonska Fertilizer (P1), NPK Fertilla Fertilizer (P2), NPK Fertilla + ZA (P3), NPK Fertilla + ZK (P4) Fertilizer and ZA + ZK Fertilizer (P5).The results of the five treatments showed that the highest amount of heavy leaf production was found in treatment P3 (Non Chlor NPK and ZA fertilizer).

Abstract

Current elementary education, the first decade of the 21st century, is faced with a global challenge where the pattern of peoples lives is changing very rapidly, fueled mainly by the development of information technology and global challenges. Devotion to the community is offered to solve the problems faced by a group of elementary school teachers Petemon, Sawahan, Surabaya. Seeing the problem of partner of implementation method offered in dedication to solve the problems faced by teacher group of SDN Patemon IX are (1) Training of applying of learning model of Student Center Learning on Mathematics, Biology and Bahasa Indonesia subjects to SDN Patemon IX, (2) Evaluation of training result of SCL instructional model implementation in Mathematics, Biology and Bahasa Indonesia subjects to teachers of SDN Patemon IX, (3) Review and Assistance in the preparation of fourth-, fourth and fourth-grade thematic RPP, (4) Assistance in Implementation of RPP in Thematic Class IV, V and VI learning, (5) Evaluation of compilation result and Assistance of implementation of RPP in thematic learning of class IV, V and VI. Proposal method to solve the problem that has been formulated is divided into three stages: preparation, implementation and reflection. Strengthening teachers ability in developing thematic learning tool based on Student Center Learning (SCL) at SDN PATEMON IX Surabaya, get very positive response shown from Reflection result at end of mentoring. To design a mentoring program that suits the training needs some things are needed in designing the mentoring.

Abstract

ABSTRAKLesson Study merupakan model pembinaan profesi pendidik melalui pengkajian pebelajaran secara kolaboratif dan berkelanjutan berlandaskan asas-asas kolegalitas dan mutual learning untuk membangun learning community. Lesson study dapat diimplementasikan pada berbagai jenjang pendidikan, termasuk perguruan tinggi, salah satunya Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya (UMSurabaya) yang menerapkan program Lesson Study berbasis karakter dalam kegiatan akademisnya pada Fakultas Keguruandan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP). Lesson Study pada program studi pendidikan matematika semester gasal 2013/2014 dilaksanakan pada mata kuliah Statistika Dasar. Tahap implementasi Lesson Study pada program studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP UMSurabayatelah berjalan dengan sejumlah 5 (lima) tahapan pelaksanaan yaitu: pendefinisian, perencanaan, pelaksanaan/implementasi, analisis data, dan penyusunan artikel ilmiah. Hasilhasil yang diperoleh antara lain: (1) Terjadi peningkatan kualitas proses pembelajaran. Mahasiswa yang aktif semakin banyak, perkuliahan tidak membosankan karena sebagian besar mahasiswa kelihatan antusias dalam belajar, terutama pada waktu menggunakan media pembelajaran “GABUZ”. Dosen juga dapat berkolaborasi dengan teman sejawat dalam upaya untuk memperbaiki pembelajarannya dan sebagai best practice PBM denganmenggunakan media pembelajaran. (2) Melalui pembelajaran dengan Lesson Study ini selain dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran sekaligus juga dapat menumbuhkan karakter mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Statistika Dasar pada aspek teliti, pantang menyerah,kreatf, dan tanggungjawab. (3) Implementasi Lesson Study secara berkelanjutan akan mempercepat peningkatan profesionalisme dosen dalam pelaksanaan perkuliahan. Peningkatan keprofesionalan dosen akan diikuti oleh peningkatan efektivitas kegiatan belajar mengajar dan secara tidak langsung akan berdampak pada peningkatan mutupendidikan.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pada Mata kuliah metode numerik, hasil belajar mahasiswa mahasiswa pendidikan matematika, fakultas keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya  dari 20 mahasiswa telihat bahwa bahwa hasil belajar  4 peserta didik atau 22,2 % tuntas belajar dan masih ada 14 peserta didik atau 78,2 tidak tuntas belajar dengan rata-rata nilai 44,87. Berdasarkan pendapat peserta didik menyatakan perkuliahan mata kuliah metode Numerik dikarenakan  materi kuliah termasuk baru dan mempunyai tingkat kesulitan tinggi, sistem perkuliahan menggunakan pembelajaran langsung menyebabkan peserta didik merasa bosan dan cenderung menganggap materi ini sangat sulit, dan refensi bahan ajar baik online maupun hard copy belum mendukung sepenuhnya untuk metode numeric bidang matematika. Dengan demikian perlu model pembelajaran selain pembelajaran langsung yang digunakan agar peserta didik tidak bosan dan tidak merasa sulit.  Dalam hal ini peneliti menggunakan model pembelajaran “Kooperatif tipe Jigsaw” dengan harapan peserta didik bisa bekerjasama dengan anggotanya untuk menemukan pemecahan persoalan sehingga ada interaksi antar peserta didik yang menjadikan pembelajaran menjadi aktif pada peserta didiknya. Model pembelajaran kooperatif lebih ditekankan pada peserta didik yang aktif sehingga diharapkan siswa tidak merasa bosan dan jenuh saat proses pembelajaran. Dan yang paling penting pembelajaran ini diharapkan bisa bermakna pada mahasiswa. Selain itu juga bisa menumbuhkan sikap tanggung jawab pada diri masing-masing mahasiswa. sehingga timbul motivasi belajar yang akan mempengaruhi hasil belajar mahasiswa

Abstract

ABSTRAKPelaksanaan model pembelajaran direct instruction dalam eningkatkan aktivitas mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Kalkulus II melalui Program Lesson Study di Prodi Pendidikan Matematika, secara umum memberikan nuansa baru dalam dunia perkuliahan. Lewat programini antar dosen bisa mengambil nilai-nilai dari dosen lain yang bisa ditiru, sebagai contoh yaitu dalam hal penguasaan materi, ketelatenan, kesabaran, dan cara memotivasi mahasiswa, selain itu melalui program ini secara umum dapat meningkatkan aktivitasmahasiswa pada saat Proses Belajar Mengajar (PBM).Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan terdapat peningkatan aktivitas mahasiswa padasetiap siklus PBM, yaitu peningkatan ratarata 5% pada aspek interaksi antara mahasiswa dan mahasiswa, 8% pada aspek interaksiantara mahasiswa dan dosen, dan penurunan rata-rata 5% untuk pada aspek siswa yang pasif. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui program Lesson Study dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran direcinstruction aktivitas mahasiswa meningkat pada setiap siklus implementasi pembelajaran.Kata kunci: Direct Instruction, Lesson Study, kalkulus II.

Abstract

ABSTRAKUniversitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya (UMSurabaya) merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi yang menerapkan program Lesson Study dengan mengintegrasikan aspek keimanan dan karakter dalam kegiatan akademisnya pada Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP). Lesson Study pada program studi pendidikan matematika dilaksanakan pada Mata kuliah Metode Numerik semester genap 2012/2013. Pelaksaanaan Lesson Study pada program studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya telah berjalan dengan sejumlah tahapan pelaksanaan Lesson Study. Tahapan tersebut adalah (1) Pembentukan tim inti Lesson Study, (2) mengidentifikasi permasalahan belajar mahasiswa, (3) menentukan tema Lesson Study, (4) melaksanakan Lesson Study (Plan-Do-See), (5) monitoring dan evaluasi (monevin) pelaksanaan Lesson Study, (6) seminar hasil LessonStudy. Hasil-hasil yang diperoleh dalam kegiatan Lesson Study antara lain: (1) Dihasilkan perangkat pembelajaran metode numerik berbasis karater; (2) menumbuhkan karakter mahasiswa pada Mata kuliah metode numerik pada aspek teliti, kreatif, tanggungjawab, dan kerjasama; (3) Implementasi Lesson Study secara berkelanjutan akan mempercepat peningkatan profesionalisme dosen dalam pelaksanaan perkuliahan. Peningkatan keprofesionalan dosen akan diikuti oleh peningkatan efektifitas kegiatan belajar mengajar dan secara tidak langsung akan berdampak pada peningkatan mutu pendidikan; (4) Lesson Study memberi kesempatan pada dosen untuk dengan cermat meneliti proses belajar serta pemahaman mahasiswa dengan cara mengamati dan mendiskusikan praktik pembelajaran di kelas. Kesempatan ini juga memperkuat peran dosen sebagai peneliti di dalamkelas.

Abstract

SMP Mardi Putera Surabaya menentukan nilai Standart Kelulusan Minimal (SKM) sebesar 75 untuk mata pelajaran matematika. Saat ini rata-rata nilai matematika pada beberapa siswa masih di bawah Standart Ketuntasan Minimal (SKM) salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi yaitu pembelajaran masih terpusat pada guru. Sehingga siswa masih belum memahami konsep matematika secara maksimal Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memngetahui pengaruh penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII pada pelajaran matematika di SMP Mardi Putera Surabaya, peningkatan hasil belajar pada khususnya. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) karena dalam penelitian ini dilakukan fase-fase tertentu untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran di kelas. Kelas penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII-C. Dari Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII-C SMP Mardi Putera Surabaya. Terlihat dari rata-rata nilai Ulangan Tengah Semester (UTS) siswa ke Siklus I yang memperoleh rata-rata 78,44 atau meningkat sebesar 15,15%. siklus I ke siklus II memperoleh rata-rata 79,25 atau meningkat sebesar 1,03%.

Abstract

This study aims to develop mathematics media learning based interactive games Adobe Flash CS3 application was valid, practical, feasible and effective. This research was a development research with reference to ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation).The subjects of this study were teacher and students of class X SMKN 10 Surabaya. The data obtained by this research were (1) validation of media expert, (2) validation of material expert (3) teacher evaluation, (4) student response questionnaire and (6) mastery of student learning result.The result of media expert validation showed that the learning media developed was valid because the average score of the 82.6% aspect in the category (Very Good) and validation of the material expert was also valid with the average of 82.9% in the category (very good) . Practically defined by the Media Expert by category (feasible for field trials with appropriate revisions) and the Material Expert category (Eligible for trial without revision) as well as from teacher and student activities in the (excellent) category. It was declared worthy of the three Teachers with a total score of 81% (good) as well as a questionnaire for the response of students of large group trials with an average of 3.3 (very good). Students responded very well as many as 56.67% and 43.33% responded well and 90% of students in the class had already fulfill the KKM. So it was declared effective because the media had been said to be valid, practical, feasible and 90% of students complete study in the classroom.

Abstract

The aim of this research are: to describe the process of development and instructional instruments of cooperative learning type STAD with Microsoft Power Point Ispring on topic parallelogram, the kite and trapezium at SMP Class Seven. The Subject of this research is SMP Muhammadiyah 13 Surabaya in class seven at year 2013-2014, tow parallel class are VII A an VII B. The model of development teaching material for this research is use 4-D Thiagarajan’s development instructional model. The development process consist of four phases, those are define, design, develop, and disseminate. Instructional instruments that developed are lesson plan, students work sheet, achievement test and the microsoft power point ispring media learning. The researches instrument are used validation’s instructional instruments sheet, observational sheet of student’s activities in learning, observational sheet of teacher ability to manage the instruction, and the quotioner of students responses. The instructional instruments that has been developed by the next one will be seen whether already as instructional instruments that was good that is an equipment that could support learning process so as the aim that it was hoped could be reached and be equipment pembelajaran that was developed in accordance with the development procedure of instructional instruments and met (1) Valid that is has divalidasi by the expert and filled the minimal criterion valid. (2) was tested, by filling the criterion: (a) the teacher's capacity managed pembelajaran was classified as effective (b) the Activity of the student was classified as active (c) the positive Criterion for the student's response to pembelajaran and the completeness of studying results in a classical manner was reached (d) the results Test studied met valid, reliable and sensitive. Based on the analysis in the development stage, was received by the conclusion that instructional instruments cooperative model mathematics the STAD type with the media Microsoft PowerPoint Ispring learning to material parallelogram, the kite and the trapezium in the SMP Muhammadiyah 13 VII classes filled the good criterion was based on results of the validation of the expert and results of the test that filled conditions that were determined that is, (1) the activity of the student during pembelajaran effective; (2) the teacher's capacity in managed learning process effective; (3) the student's response to pembelajaran active and the completeness of studying results in a classical manner was reached; and (4) the results test studied that was used sensitive, valid, and reliabel.

Abstract

Traffic jam is problems faced by many cities in Indonesia. The density of highways has caused the congestion. One solution is to use a traffic light. The existence of traffic lights help to curb road users, but in many cases, the use of traffic lights is less than optimal. It is about the determination of flow which should be red or green and how long it takes for each stream. To overcome these problems, the coloring application used graph approach is as a point of scheduling problem resolution. The algorithm used is Welch-Powell. The case of a traffic light that occurs from several points in the city of Surabaya, one of which, is at the crossroads of Jalan Ahmad Yani Giant. Secondary data is from the Transportation Department of Surabaya including the results of the analysis of two-way road speeds using the Moving Car Observation of 2014, the average speed of vehicles in the city of Surabaya in 2010-2014, and the volume of vehicles on Jalan Ahmad Yani Surabaya. Congestion in Surabaya is caused by the increasing number or volume of vehicles in each year that is not balanced with the capacity of the road. Public awareness for the use of public transportation is also lacking. This is because the public transportation in the city of Surabaya has not fully met the standards and many are not fit for use so that people prefer to use private transport. Congestion is also caused by the lack of regulation of traffic police at the point of congestion during rush hour. From the above discussion, the result shows that the use of coloring application Graph Theory with Welch-Powell algorithm has improved the effectiveness of traffic lights which is seen from the total duration of the green and red light.
