Abstract

Bangunan cagar budaya adalah bangunan yang secara arsitektural memiliki kekhasan baik dari nilai arsitektural, estetika dan mewakili suatu simbol kebudayaan. Bangunan pendidikan di Jalan Kartini Salatiga merupakan sebuah komplek bangunan cagar budaya yang terdapat di Kota Salatiga, merupakan peninggalan kolonial Belanda, sehingga tidak mengherankan apabila bangunan tersebut memiliki karakter arsitektur kolonial yang membentuk identitas yang khas pada kawasan tersebut. Pembangunan selasar pendidikan di Jalan Kartini Kota Salatiga tidak terlepas dari status Kota Salatiga sebagai Kota Gemeente yang membuat Kota Salatiga maju dalam pembangunan fasilitas kotanya termasuk fasilitas pendidikan di Jalan Kartini yang diperuntukkan untuk orang pribumi. Perlu kiranya kini dilakukan sebuah studi mengenai tipologi dan konsep integrasi kawasan mengingat bangunan tersebut merupakan bangunan cagar budaya yang berada pada satu kawasan yang berdekatan, sebagai upaya peran aktif pelestarian bangunan cagar budaya dari segi akademis arsitektur. Untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian mengenai tipologi dan konsep integrasi pada kawasan bangunan pendidikan di Jalan Kartini Salatiga digunakan metode rekonstruksi baik secara bangunan maupun secara kawasan yang dilakukan dengan mencari data kesejarahan berupa foto maupun wawancara kepada narasumber yang kompeten. Dalam penelitian ini diketahui bahwa bangunan pendidikan di Jalan Kartini Salatiga merupakan tipologi bangunan arsitektur kolonial modern yang tidak memiliki integrasi dalam konsep penataan kawasannya.   [Title: Typologi and Integration Concept of Educational Building and Character of Colonial-based Architecture at Kartini’s Street Salatiga] Heritage building is a building that has a specific kind of architectural value, aesthetic and represent of cultural values. Educational buildings at Kartini street Salatiga is a complex of heritage buildings located in Salatiga, its a Dutch colonial heritage, so it is not surprising that the buildings has architecture colonial character that forms a distinctive identity in that region. The development of education corridor in Kartini Street Salatiga cannot be sepparated that city’s statusas a Gemeente city that makes the failities development in its citywas grow up rapidly, included educational facilities in Salatiga street, that build for home-grown peoples. It wolud need to know that doing a study about the typology and regional integration concept in view that the buildings is a heritage buildings that located on the adjacent region, as an active role of heritage building preservation in terms of academic architecture. This research used reconstruction method, both building reconstruction and region reconstruction, to answer the research question about the typology and integration concept in heritage buildings at Kartini street Salatiga, that conducted with found the data from the historical photos and interviews with competent respondent. Theconclusions of this research is the educational buildings on the Kartini street Salatiga has modern colonial architecture typologies and that do not have an integration concept in the arrangement region.

Abstract

Cooperative learning is a learning model that involves students to be able to actively participate in the learning process through the formation of small groups. One type of cooperative learning model is the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) type. This study aimed to determine the effect of the STAD type cooperative learning model on physics learning outcomes of grade X students at SMK 5 Jember. This research is included in experimental research. The research design used was a post test only design. Data analysis technique used independent sample t-test (parametric test) and one way anova. The results showed that the significant value of the independent sample t-test was 0,000 (α<0,05) which means that the average physics scores of the experimental class students were greater than control class students. Thus, the STAD type cooperative learning model has a significant effect on learning outcomes in physics at SMK 5 Jember. Kata Kunci: cooperative learning; learning outcomes; STAD

Abstract

Abstrak Mata pelajaran fisika adalah Salah satu mata pelajaran di sekolah yang seringkali dianggap sulit oleh siswa. Hasil wawancara dengan guru mata pelajaran fisika di SMAN 3 Jember menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran yang digunakan masih menggunakan metode konvensional dimana guru berperan lebih aktif dibandingkan siswa. Melalui    modul berbasis problem    based learning, siswa tidak  hanya cenderung  menghafal  rumus,  tetapi  lebih ditekankan bagaimana memecahkan masalah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui validitas dan efektifitas modul berbasis problem based learning disertai concept mapping pada materi alat optik di SMA. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, validasi ahli diperoleh nilai sebesar 89% dan validasi pengguna diperoleh hasil 86%. Keduanya dalam kategori sangat valid. Efektifitas modul memperoleh skor N-Gain sebesar 0,53 atau berada dalam kategori sedang. Hal ini dapat dikatakan bahwa modul efektif dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika kelas XI SMA IPA.   Kata kunci : problem based learning, concept mapping, validitas, efektifitas

Abstract

Abstract   This research is development research. This study aims to examine expert validation, describe student learning outcomes, and describe the effectiveness of Contextual LKS Based Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) Class X Motion Material. The research subjects were 39 students of SMAN 1 Gambiran class X. Data on expert validation was obtained from five the validator is two lecturers of the University of Jember Physics Education Program, and three high school Physics study teachers in the development test. Data on learning outcomes are obtained from the results of post tests conducted after the learning is complete. The results showed that quantitative data validation logic from five validators for Contextual LKS Based on Process Oriented Guided Inquiry (POGIL) of 3.53 with a fairly valid category. This assessment is the average of the assessment of conformity components of 3.5; the effectiveness component is 3.875, and the feasibility component is 3.22. Cognitive domain assessment gets the lowest score among the other domains at 63. Classically the average student learning outcomes are 73.61 and are categorized as being moderate. The conclusions obtained from this study are 1) Validation results from 5 validators consisting of two physics education lecturers and 3 Public High School 1 Gambiran teachers Contextual LKS Based on Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) categorized as quite valid, 2) Student learning outcomes after using Contextual LKS Based on Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) in physics learning as a whole is 73.61 and categorized as moderate, and 3) Effectiveness based on learning outcomes can be seen in high criteria. These results can be used as a reference for validation of good literary audiences so that the Contextual LKS Based on Process Oriented Guided Inquiry (POGIL) can be said to be effective. This study can be used to identify factors that influence the level of mastery of concepts and student learning attitudes so that teachers can determine worksheets that suit the needs of students.   Keywords: conceptual, contextual, POGIL, LKS

Abstract

  Abstract          The purpose of this research is to describing the validity of e-module flow virtual simulation based on macromedia flash. This research were developed by IDI (Instructional Development Institute) which has three major stages of the system approach, namely the stage of defining, developinng, and evaluating. Abstract

Abstract This research was carried out to improve students' learning outcomes by using students' worksheet based on POE (Predict, Observe, Explain).This research was conducted in class X of SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Jember in the 2019/2020 school acadenic year. This research used experimental research methods. The instruments used in this study were lesson plan, syllabus, students' worksheet based on POE (Predict, Observe, Explain), and post-test question. After analyzing it by comparing with the results of the daily chapter of the previous chapter, it was found that the test scores using LKS based on POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) were higher compared to conventional learning . Thus it can be concluded that class given treatment in the form of learning by using students' worksheet based on POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) has a significant effect on the students' learning outcomes compared to class with conventional learning. Abstract

Nowdays, there are too many people who still do not understand about theimportance of permission to construct a building. In addition, people still have aproblem on how to obtain a permit to erect a building as well as the provisions thatrestrict or regulate the establishment of a building in an area. Therefore, the needfor monitoring to see how the implementation has been done in the field as well asthe right to construct the building according to applicable regulations.The purpose of this study is to see how the implementation of surveillanceconducted by piupiupiu and to find out which one is the dominant factor in this study.This research was conducted in Dinas Cipta Karya dan Tata Ruang in Siak district.In conducting the data collection method using observation and in-depth interviewsto research informants. Once the data is collected and then drawn conclusions basedon the laws of inference and analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis.After a study found that the factors that affect the implementation of thebuilding permit supervision by Dinas Cipta Karya dan Tata Ruang is the factor ofhuman resources, funding or budget, facilities and infrastructure, as well asdiscipline in applying the rules correctly.Keywords: Supervision, building permits, Spatial and Urban Planning

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the results of observations which indicated the problems of the multi-representations science (physics) ability and students learning science (physics) achievement in the classroom. The purpose of this research to describe the improvement of students multi-representations science (physics) ability and the improvement of students learning science (physics) achievement by using Quantum Learning model with experiment method. The type of this research was classroom action research by the research design using Hopkins cycle model. The research was held in two cycles and started with pre-cycle activity. The subject of this research was the students of class VIII-A SMP Negeri 7 Jember. The techniques to collect the data were interview, documentation, observation, and test. This data analysis technique was using normality gain formula (N-gain) to know the improvement of students multi-representations science (physics) ability and students learning science (physics) achievement. Based on the data analysis, was gained the improvement of students multi-representations science (physics) ability in cycle 1 with the average of N-gain score about 0,345 and in cycle 2 about 0,450. The students learning science (physics) achievement also improve in cycle 1 with a score of N-gain 0,32 and in cycle 2 with a score of N-gain 0,42. According to the data above, it can be concluded that the Quantum Learning model can improve students multi-representations science (physics) ability and students learning science (physics) achievement in medium category.

Abstract

This research was aimed to assess the difference between the students’ Physical Science learning activities by using SAVI approach with a guide inquiry model and conventional learning in Junior High School. This also aimed to assess the difference between the students’ Physical Science learning result by using SAVI approach with a guide inquiry model and conventional learning in Junior High School. This research was experimental research. The area determination method was determined by using purposive sampling area. This research was carried out in SMP Negeri 1 Jember. The sample of the research was determined after conducting the homogeneity test. The sample determination method was determined by using cluster random sampling. The design of the research was post-test only control design. The data of this research was collected from the students’ test, observation, documentation, and interview. The data analysis method was independent sample t-test by using SPSS 16. Based on the data analysis result of the Physical Science learning activity by using t-test found significance value (1-tailed ) 0,000 or significance value ≤ 0.05 and based on the manual calculation result found ttest (6,74 ) >ttable (1,995), thus null hypothesis (H0) was rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. The data analysis result of the physical science learning by using t-test found significance value (1-tailed) 0,270 or significance value > 0.05 and the manual calculation result found ttest (1,816) < ttable (1,995). This indicated that the null hypothesis (H0) was accepted and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was rejected .
