Abstract

For this research, an audiometer based on microcontroller with computer interface as a measuring instrument for the threshold of audible range has been designed. This device has some features, like graphic display, audio intensity display, and computer frequency. This audiometer intended for the research consists of frequency generator, audio generator, and manual and automatic amplifying switch. The microcontroller is the main component which has the ability to be frequency generator using Fast PWM at timer 1 within 16bit resolution and crystal value 16MHz so that the frequencies at 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1000 Hz, 2000 Hz, 4000 Hz, and 8000 Hz can be generated precisely and steadily.The maximum audio intensity as the result of this research using the device was 46,2 dB. The result of the frequency test on the device designed for this research has the linear correlation coefficient R=1, meanwhile the audio intensity measured at the standardized device has the linear correlation coefficient R=0,997Keywords: microcontroller, sound level meter, multi-tester, frequency, audio intensity

Abstract

The Comparison of PDD and beam profile measurements between detectors Ionization Chamber and Gafchromic film on 10x10 cm2 field. has been done Measurements were made with the detector CC-13s with a volume of 0.13 cc as a reference detector. Measurements were performed using IBA RFA phantom dosimeter. while the film measurement using solid water phantom gafchromic done. Measurements were taken at a field size of 10x10 cm2 in plane 6 MV linac with energy. Profile measurements performed using the SAD technique, with a depth of 10 cm for 6 MV. While the PDD measurements using SSD technique. From the results of this study are expected to know the PDD curve Beam profile and optimal dose measurement accuracy can be achieved in clinical treatment. well as the advantages and disadvantages of each detector and can be taken into consideration in selecting the optimal dosimeter according to the function that will be used.  Key words: Small field dosimetry, ionization chamber, gafchromic film

Abstract

           CT number is the value of x rays attenuation coefficient determined by the average energy of the x-rays and atomic number absorber and expressed by the attenuation coefficient. function CT number in CT Scan is to assess and differentiate abnormalities in human organs. If there are inaccuracies value of CT number, it can happen misdiagnosis and treatment of patients that successive actions, so the need for periodic compliance of the test.Suitability tests were conducted to value of CT number multislice CT Scan in Radiology Unit of the PDHI Yogyakarta Islamic Hospital. Suitability test were conducted by using a water phantom, 10 mm slice thickness, 140 kV and 280 mAs, gantry tilt of 0 °, round or circular ROI with a size of 2-3 cm. Measurement samples were taken from 5 different regions which the first area in the center of the phantom images, as well as four other regions on the edge of the peripheral or phantom image. From the test have been gotten value of CT number for the water phantom at 5 different positions  2.03 ; 1.38 ; 1.60 ; 1.79 ; 1.83 HU. Five different positions has had no single value that is the result exceeds the tolerance limit of ? 4 HU thus all CT values for the number of water which is within the tolerance limit with a value of -4 up  to 4 HU, so it could be concluded that the results of the reading CT number on the  multislice CT Scan  in Radiology Unit of the Islamic Hospital Yogyakarta PDHI still qualifies as recommended regulatory heads BAPETEN Number 9 In 2011 on quality assurance (QA) or quality control (QC) of the CT Scan.                                                  Keywords: Compliance Test, CT number, Water Phantom, ROI, Tolerance Value.

Abstract

Abstrak Telah berhasil dibuat sistem pengolah air bersih menggunakan material fotokatalis titania (TiO2). Sistem pengolah air bersih yang terdiri dari 2 pompa yang bertujuan untuk mengalirkan air kotor ke bak penampungan pertama, dan pompa kedua untuk mensirkulasikan air yang telah melewati biofilter untuk diolah melalui reaktor foto katalis TiO2 yang diaktifasi dengan menggunakan lampu UV sebanyak 2 buah masing-masing dengan daya 10 W. Lapisan tipis TiO2 dideposisi di atas substrat gelas dengan metode sol-gel teknik spray coating. Titanium Tetraisopropoxide 0,5 M dilarutkan ke dalam Diethylene Glycol dengan perbandingan mol DEG: (Ti(OC3H7)4 adalah 4:1 lalu diaduk dengan magnetic stirrer pada laju putar sebesar 1500 rpm selama 2 jam. Gel TiO2 hasil sintesis kemudian dimasukan ke dalam tabung spray-coater dan diberi tekanan Sebelum disemprot, substrat gelas dipanaskan pada temperatur 70oC untuk meningkatkan daya ikat antara larutan dengan substrat. Lapisan hasil penyemprotan selanjutnya di oven pada temperatur 200oC selama 30 menit dan sintering pada temperatur 450oC selama 2,5 jam. Hasil pengujian struktur kristal dengan x-ray diffractometer (XRD) menunjukkan bahwa semakin banyak pelapisan yang dilakukan menyebabkan kualitas kristal dari lapisan tipis TiO2 meningkat. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan semakin menurunnya nilai FWHM. Selain itu, semakin banyaknya pelapisan yang dilakukan menyebabkan ukuran kristalit dari lapisan tipis TiO2 meningkat. Citra SEM lapisan tipis TiO2 menunjukkan bahwa semakin besar molaritas prekursor TiO2 menyebabkan kuantitas keretakan pada permukaan semakin menurun. Hasil pengujian BOD dan COD dari sistem pengolah air bersih menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dibuat telah mampu mereduksi kandungan BOD hingga 5,76 mg/L dan COD hingga 25,22 mg/L. Abstract

Abstrak Telah dilakukan deposisi lapisan tipis material GaN:Mn dengan metode chemical solution deposition (CSD) menggunakan teknik spin-coating. Larutan gallium-maganese-citrate-amine disintesis menggunakan Ga2O3 sebagai sumber galium dan MnO2 sebagai sumber mangan. Larutan divariasi dengan fraksi mol larutan Mn dari 55-80%. Kristal berwarna coklat  yang terbentuk selanjutnya dilarutkan dalam ethylenediamine membentuk gel. Gel selanjutnya dilapiskan di atas substrat Si dengan spin-coater pada laju 1100 rpm. Lapisan yang terbentuk kemudian disintering pada temperatur 900oC pada lingkungan gas N2 UHP supaya terjadi dekomposisi membentuk GaN:Mn. Hasil analisis spektrum energy dispersive of X-Ray (EDX) menunjukkan inkorporasi Mn ke dalam GaN meningkat dengan penambahan fraksi mol larutan Mn pada larutan yang digunakan. Hasil Uji EDX menunjukkan bahwa film tipis GaN:Mn terdapa impuritas karbon (C) hingga 36,71%. Citra scanning electron microscopy (SEM) lapisan tipis GaN:Mn menunjukkan secara umum telah diperoleh kekasaran permukaan (rms) morfologi lapisan mencapai orde nanometer hingga 24,36 nm. Dari hasil yang telah diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa metode deposisi CSD telah mampu menghasilkan lapisan tipis semikonduktor magnetik dengan morfologi permukaan yang hampir homogen. Dengan demikian metode CSD ini dapat dikembangkan untuk metode alternatif deposisi lapisan tipis yang ekonomis dan sederhana. Kata kunci: GaN:Mn, CSD, Lapisan Tipis, Inkorporasi Mn

Abstract

Analysis of the radiation beam profile linear accelerator 6mV on the use of virtual wedge with gafchromic film done as a virtual wedge calibration on the linear accelerator . Virtual wedge calibration was originally done using ionization chamber detector, but its use is not efficient because for one-time calibration with an area of 10 x 10 cm2 field takes 10 times the exposure with the results of 10 data transform one dose profile curve . It takes a dosimeter that can capture the entire virtual dose results wedge with one exposure is gafchromic films with an area that can be customized . This research was conducted with a virtual wedge on the Siemens PRIMUS linear accelerator , scanner Epson Stylus 10000 XL , Solid Water Phantom , Matlab Program and Excel Program. This research begin to find the corelation between radiation beam and pixel value on gafchromic film with field size 1x 1 cm2. This corelation in used to find profile dose of virtual wedge from gafchromic film with field size 1 x 11 cm2. Variation fof gafchromic film is in this angle on 150, 300, and 450, opening jaws in Y1and Y2and teh last variation of half beam position in (-10 until 0),(-5 until 5) and (0 until 10). This research find that in higher beam dose, make the darkness film but lowerpixel value.ther are 2 corection in jaws position Y2 half beam (-10 until 0)300 and jaws position Y2 half beam (0 until1 0) 450. Abstract

STUDI PENGARUH KONSENTRASI AL PADA STRUKTUR KRISTAL DAN MORFOLOGI FILM TIPIS AlxGa1-xN/Si(111) YANG DITUMBUHKAN DENGAN TEKNIK PA-MOCVD. Film tipis AlxGa1-xN telah ditumbuhkan di atas substrat Si tipe-p dengan menggunakan teknik PA-MOCVD. Film tipis AlxGa1-xN ditumbuhkan dengan parameter-parameter: suhu substrat, laju alir N2, TMGa dan TMAl berturut-turut sebesar 700 oC; 90 sccm; 0,1 sccm dan 0,01sccm hingga 0,04 sccm. Film polikristal AlxGa1-xN yang ditumbuhkan mempunyai struktur heksagonal dengan bidang difraksi dominan (1010) dan (1011) hingga konsentrasi Al sebesar 6,78%. Diperoleh nilai kekasaran permukaan film dari pengukuran SPM pada range 11,44 nm sampai dengan 27,20 nm. Morfologi permukaan film semakin halus dengan peningkatan konsentrasi Al pada film. Penurunan nilai konstanta kisi hasil pengujian XRD terjadi karena kekosongan nitrogen pada film. Peningkatan konsentrasi Al pada film menyebabkan penurunan laju penumbuhan film tipis AlxGa1-xN yang terbentuk.

Abstract

In this research, ZnO  thin films have been successfully deposited on glass substrates by spraycoatingtechniquewith avariety the sintering temperature of 300 °C , 400 °C , 450 °C and 550 °C. Optical properties ZnO thin films were characterized by using UV-Vis spectroscopy. The ability ofphotocatalyst of ZnOfordegradation ofmethylene bluecolorwas observedthrough the absorbance test by using UV-Vis to obtain the percentage of color degradation. The results showed that the sintering temperature of ZnO affects the value of energy Gap of ZnO thin film. Higher sintering temperature resulted in higher energy gap. The largest gap energy generated from the ZnO sintering temperature of 450 ? Cwith values Eg 3.03 eV. ZnO photocatalyst activity of test results have been able to degrade methylene blue up to 97.62% were obtained from ZnO thin layer of sintering temperature of 450 ? Abstract

Nanocomposite thin film of TiO2/CNT as a photocatalyst material was  synthesized using the sol-gel method with the dispersion of commercial TiO2 Merck in CNT. The crystal structure and nanocomposite thin film morfology of TiO2/CNT were characterized using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Sol TiO2 0.3 M was mixed into the sol CNT with mass ratio of CNT:TiO2 was 1:5. Sol TiO2/CNT was sprayed on a glass substrate that was  heated at a temperature of 250 oC, then it was heated at the temperature of 450 °C for 60 minutes. Photodegradation was done by dipping the nanocomposite thin film of TiO2/CNT into 100 mL Azo Orange 3R dye sol 10 ppm, then was irradiated using UV light with a wavelength 380 nm. XRD pattern analysis showed that TiO2 has anatase structure with crystallite size at the range from 72-92 nm by using Scherrer equation. SEM image analysis showed that the grains of TiO2 sfreris pattern and was dispersed on CNT. Refluks TiO2/CNT nanocomposite thin film had been able to degrade Azo Orange 3R dye sol for 12 hours until percentage of 98,2% which was much better than the non reflux TiO2/CNT nanocomposite thin film as 97,2% and the TiO2 thin film as 90,9%. Abstract

Radiation shield is used to protect both workers and the general public from radiation. In Indonesia there are a lot of potential materials to be used as radiation shielding materials, such as iron, stainless steel and copper which these metals have a certain density and atomic number above 26. For the determination of the value of research material absorption coefficient and radiation dose on ferrous materials, stainless steel and copper as a radiation shield. The study was conducted at RS Happy land Yogyakarta using x-ray radiation source. In testing the absorption coefficient of the material in lead , iron , copper and stainless steel : The plane was set at a voltage, current and time on the conditions of 80 kV 32 mAs and 90 kV 40 mAs were fixed and the distance between the focus to the object as far as 100 cm, Multi Purpose Detector ( MPD ) was placed under the object, wide open field irradiation 5 cm x 5 cm, the center beam was placed right in the middle of the next object do exposure for each thickness of lead, iron, copper and stainless steel was done in sequence according to the thickness variation material. From the test results coefficient absorption material (µ) in iron, copper and stainless steel on condition exposure factor 80 kV 32 mAs showed ? for iron absorption coefficient of 0,76 / mm, copper of 1,16 / mm and stainless steel for 0,83 / mm. Results equality between iron, copper and stainless steel with lead to 1,3 mm thickness. Iron 8,9 mm, 5,8 mm copper and stainless steel 8,1 mm. Lead to a thickness of 2 mm, 13,7 mm iron, copper, stainless steel 8,9 mm and 12,5 mm. On condition exposure factor  90 kV 40 mAs showed ? for iron of 0,56 / mm, copper 0,92 / mm and stainless steel of 0,62 / mm. Results equality between iron , copper and stainless steel with Lead to a thickness of 2 mm, 17,5 mm iron, copper and stainless steel 10.6 mm 15,7 mm. Keywords: X - ray Unit, Multi Purpose Detector ( MPD ), Absorption Coefficient, Iron, Copper, Stainless Steel
